Extremely easy and very satisfying experience shipping furniture from the east coast to Colorado. The quote process was painless, and once I decided to ship the furniture everything went like clockwork. Furniture was packed and protected extremely well, and arrived in great condition.

The customer was booked
at 1500  lbs.  We only charged the card one time when the order was
booked.  The customer called in and spoke...

to several sales reps before
booking.  1000 lbs. was discussed, but it booked at 1500 lbs.  There
were 43 medium boxes.  Medium boxes are estimated to weigh 35-40 lbs. each.
So the quote based on industry standards is what we used.   The
customer booked at 1500 lbs and we charged him for this weight one time.

I just reviewed the paperwork from the carrier and agree that the weight could not have been more than 1000 pounds.  I am going to issue a credit back to the card on file for the $515.76 (assuming that [redacted] has not already done so).  I apologize for the mix-up.

The customer did buy Moving
Insurance Itemized coverage for a hutch with glass doors.  The item that
was damaged was a dining room table. ...

There was no insurance on that
piece.  The Terms and Conditions state that all orders are subject to
extended timeframes and delivery dates are never guaranteed.

I needed to have an art object sent from Jacksonville, Fla. to Fairport NY. It was located in a rental property. I never saw the piece of art or the property. I had no idea how to contact the renters, the size or weight of the object...I had no information to give Transit Systems other than the address and the rental agent. They handled the entire process with one phone call from me. In a few weeks my ceramic life size basset hound arrived at my door. This dog originally belonged to Aldo Gucci and then was passed on to my uncle (his friend). It has very special meaning to me. Transit system helped me with what I thought might be an impossible task and made it easy. "Cristoforo" now sits in a place of honor in my home (placed there by the movers as he is quite heavy). I will be forever thankful to Transit Systems and their extremely competent staff.

I had an antique, Danish Modern Finn Juhl moved by Transit Systems Inc (from Minnesota to California). They did a good job, on time, for the least amount of money (from 3 different bids).

We had a very positive experience with Transit Systems, Inc. The gentlemen that packed up the furniture from the point of origin were on time, very pleasant, and were easy with our items. They were packed up very well, and then delivered to our destination on time and in the exact same shape they were in originally. Both my parents and my husband and I will definitely use their services again if the need arises.

I am rejecting this response because:
I never called. All correspondence was via email as, mentioned multiple times, I am living in a foreign country.
Pick ups were not remote. Minneapolis is a huge metropolitan area. Drop off was 30 minutes outside of the largest city in Utah, in a huge suburban development.
Every time I contacted this company I was given the run around. I've saved every single email and can deliver proof to my inquiries and their obvious lack in organization. I do things in writing for a reason.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Where's the proof that the pallets weighed 70 pounds; is there an affidavit or letter from Transit stating this exact weight? And even if it was 70 lbs, that's 70 pounds that I should not have been charged; no matter how much it is.
First Transit Systems says i'm not charged for the pallets, now they say I AM charged for the pallets. And you said yourself that after looking at the pictures of the pallets, you agreed there's no way 5 pallets could equal 70 lbs combined.
Transit System needs to provide evidence that counters the invoice that I have showing the additional weigh included the pallets and not specifying the weight of the pallets or differentiating the amounts.

I needed to ship 800 pounds of furniture and boxes from El Paso, TX to my sister in Indiana. After much Internet research, I selected Transit Systems Inc. Joshua K[redacted] assisted me in estimating the weight, quoting a price ($2200) and setting up the shipment. He did a great job and kept me informed every step of the way. The driver and one crewmember actually called to see if they could come a day early which worked out well for me, were extremely professional, did an excellent job wrapping furniture and wasted no time getting the items loaded. My sister was given 24 hours notice before delivery and said everything went very smoothly on her end. Delivery was made in the timeframe as promised and the price what was the amount quoted. My sincere thanks to Joshua and everyone at TSI for the great service. I would highly recommend them.

First, yes, our sales rep left on maternity leave, but she made
her clients aware that she was leaving and that...

they could rely on our support
team as well as other sales reps if issues came up.  The pickup and
delivery of this shipment were delayed but our dispatcher did their best to
stay in touch with the client and let him know what to expect.  They did
the best they could to accommodate him but sometimes things happen that are out
of our control.  I did offer him a $200 refund for his inconvenience,
which has been processed (transaction #[redacted].)  Yes, the shipment was
put on a truck with other shipments because we consolidate shipments in order
to cut down on price.  Sarah is a new worker at our carrier and in an
attempt to appease the client after he screamed and cursed at her, she over
promised the [redacted] of the rug.  When I spoke to management to get a
clear indication of what was happening I was under the impression that John had
been notified of the change in plans, instead of [redacted] the rug he is
bringing it out on their next route to the west, it is expected to deliver next
week.  We are aware of the missing box and the carrier is doing what they
can to find it.  They are searching the warehouse and the manager has
contacted every client on the route to ask if it was mistakenly left with their
items.  They have confirmation from all but one client that it was not
left with them.  The remaining client refuses to go through the boxes,
which they moved to their barn, until they have time.  While we understand
this is an inconvenience to wait, we cannot force their clients to search their
boxes, we can only make the request and continue to check back with them.
The insurance company will not allow forms to be emailed but they were mailed
out on the 19th and should have reached the client by now.  He
has $10,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible.  As for his issue with
not receiving calls back, we were not aware that he was in contact with the
carrier as they were trying to work with him directly until he called our
office over a week after the delivery happened.  When I was given the
information I was in the middle of training a new employee and had to wait to
call him back until after 4 pm EST, that wasn’t quick enough for him so he
called in about an hour before I had planned to call him.  Otherwise, when
I spoke to him I did get back to him within the time frame that I told him I
would.

In response to his requests.  1- The carrier is doing
everything they can to find the box.  They’re staying in contact with
other clients and they’re searching their warehouse.  2- People often
claim that items are stolen when they have been lost or misplaced.  We
have a long standing and strong relationship with this carrier, this is an
exception to the rule in our eyes, which is why we continue to work with them.
3- He will NOT receive a full refund.  We recognize that he has been
inconvenienced but as we did complete the pickup and did deliver nearly all of
the items there is no grounds for a full refund.  4-  The cost of the
missing items is an issue he needs to handle with the insurance company
directly.
The terms and conditions that were sent and difgitally signed by the customer are attached.

I used transit systems to move an antique sofa and rug purchased at auction. Inadvertently I failed to indicate a declared value for transit. It was big mistake. Whomever was subcontracted to move the piece broke a couple of legs in the process. Then, presumably to avoid breaking more legs they took it upon themselves to saw more of the legs off and wrap them in the antique rug. The whole thing was a disaster and Transit Systems filed a claim and after a month have promised me a check for $75.00. I wouldn't use this company again but for anyone that would, BUY THE INSURANCE AND HOPE THEY WILL PAY THE CLAIM.

From our sales manager:
Hi [redacted], when I look at this and
boil it down it looks like this.
rgb(31, 73, 125);">Booked on the 11/18
Picked up 11/25 (6 days from
booking)
Thanksgiving holiday
Christmas
New Years
Delivered 1/6
She called in here 4 business
days from pick up, looking for delivery.  That tells me she didn’t look at
her paperwork or have any understanding of the service.  She did not get a
return call from us to follow up her call in.  She did get 6 emails from
us.  We delivered in 6 weeks from pick up with 3 holidays in there.
Also pick up was remote MN, and delivery was remote, Utah.  So not sure
where what her expectations were if she was calling in 4 days after pick up to
get her delivery.

Very pleased with the company, customer service and service. It was easy to call, get a quote, and call back with questions. I was given good time estimates of when my shipment would be picked up and delivered to me. I appreciated the delivery men calling me to tell me when they would arrive when they were on their way. They were polite and friendly to me and my toddler. They brought everything in carefully without tearing up my walls and offered to put the furniture together. Very pleased overall and will use this service in the future. Thank you.

I had very positive experience using transit systems from my very first contact with
Mike H[redacted] whom I received excellent customer service from to the very final transaction with my furniture piece arriving from the east coast to my home here in Colorado. I would highly recommend this company; they deliver on their word and were very easy to work with.

I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], I am pleased that they are offering me a refund. What time frame does the business have to complete this, if any? I don't want to have to wait another 7 weeks for that to get done as well.Thank you for your time in getting this unfortunate situation addressed.Regards,

My experience with Transit Systems, Inc. was very favorable from start to finish. First I used their online service calculator to get an estimate, then I fine tuned that estimate with a phone call to the TSI agent assigned to my quote. She was awesome, helped me narrow down the amount being moved and the cost including home pick-up and delivery to a 3rd floor, no elevator on premises, apartment! TSI's service was great and far less expensive than local vendors. The boxes were collected and delivered on time with no losses and no breakage. I highly recommend TSI's services, they made our move as near perfect as is possible.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I can understand that Kim wants to prevent further monetary loss for her employer.  As a business owner I know that one cannot always satisfy ones customers.  Transitsystems entered in a professional contract to transport one item.  I had called many different movers that stated that they did not deal with antiques or that they needed to have a certain weight to be able to provide moving services.  I was happy to be told by companies that could not handle the move for one item that they were honest and told me so immediately.  Transitsystems is not an honest business.  They do not provide a service.  Their goal is to work as agent to find services.  Yet when they cannot deliver they pull back and state that they only locate the movers.  This way no one is accountable for the consumers loss.  This is completely uncacceptable.  I never at any time told Kim that I did not want the  mirror replaced.  Her company failed to communicate with the subcontracted moving agent to know where or when the mirror was actually broken. For Kim to state that the mirror was being repaired by [redacted] is an absolute lie.  The mirror would have to be ordered and sent.  Their are mirror companies on the internet that deliver all over the United States.  Not transporting the fireplace surround to wait for a mirror that had to be custom ordered is not a reason for the fireplace surround to have further delay.  I was having a special 1920's party where the fireplace was to be the center for photos.  The item still needed to be prepared for the party which could not be done because Transitsystems did not even know where the mirror was.  This is when I tried to contact my xhusband to locate and move the item for me.   This is when Transitsystems immediately charged my credit card for the remainder of the move.  When I had made agreement with Jerome from Transitsystems I specifically told him that I would only pay half so that if there was were to long of a delay  I would find another mover and try to recover any losses later.  Transitsystems are unaccountable for the items of the client.  They never intended to give me any refund until they saw that there was already a complaint with the Revdex.com.  Again I paid for a move from Cleveland Ohio to Woodland Hills California for an antique  fireplace surround with an antique mirror.  The mirror as seen in the photos is very large and is most of the charm of the fireplace.  Transitsystems could not deliver so they should have to pay for a replacement mirror and the moving fee.  They provided nightmare service (rudenesss, sneakiness, unaccountability and completely irresponsible.)
