The complaint received from *** *** has been resolved
After a pleasant discussion with Mr***, Transitowne will reimburse him the cost of a part that failed
on his vehicle that was discovered cracked by his
technicianThe gesture is good will in nature and it is
agreed that Transitowne did not cause the part failure as it appears to have failed due to other
circumstances (possibly age) but it could have been discovered when Transitowne investigated the
check engine light and performed a 'smoke test'While the check engine light did reset after the new
gas cap it is possible the light came on due to both factors
After investigation of the service, at no time did the Transitowne Technician remove the tires or lug
nuts
The fact that the lug nuts were loose may have been the result of the last tire rotation or road/driving
factorsAs discussed with Mr***, we have serviced numerous vehicles lately with loosening lug nuts
due to the rough roads and extreme temperature swings this winterMr*** accepted the discussion
that our technicians did not touch the wheels but did perform a free oil change and filter and a
multipoint inspection
Mr*** will send Transitowne either by mail or email the receipt directly to the Transitowne Vice President
for reimbursement

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. *** was very helpful and made sure all the work was done. When I first spoke to him he was going to over night the check to me. Something happened in the office, I believe and did not get the check until we went there a week later to drop vehicle off for repairs. *** thought the check was overnigwhen he told me it would be. He was unaware it wasn't until I spoke to him As far as I can see all work I asked for was completed and works at this time. *** really "saved face" and made my experience with Transitowne much better that the sales person I bought the car from. Thank you so much for your help with this matter!

days I bought a used *** that they slap a sticker on burn out lights bad shift part they will not pay for not a good way to do business

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below*** and I both know there are more things being fixed It is now in Williamsville (after driving to minutes to Clarence for no apparent reason) and has been there since Monday 8/ They gave me a rental in the meantime and promise to reimburse me for gas and cover any warranty deductibles The issues that I listed in my claim and resolutions is as follows:
Scratches: Had the prominent scratches buffered out at a discounted rate at a local shop (the manager felt sorry for me) It was embarrassing
Oil change indicator: The sticker on my car says the oil was changed, but the still appeared Based on inspection at the local Jeep dealer, seems the oil has been changed and the light needed to be reset Hasn't came back on since
Gas cap: Was given the correct gas cap by Transitowne in Williamsville
Transmission, evap leak, and noise: these three issues are currently being looked at by Transitowne in Williamsville

Got ** *** on on 7/13/16, that very evening while with my dealer the strut messes up, and progressively got worst through out the night.They wouldn't do anything for it the very next day! Nelson the "Manager said what do I expect for a year oldI expect for a $car not to need something fix the very next day
This wasn't going to be the last car I bought in my life and may be the last car I buy from themThey give me a $quote to fix and this is with me getting the parts at cost???? I had the car checked out by *** *** ***, and it will be $This just shows that something isn't right! More or less I am not getting what I was explained
Today is Sunday 7/17/and my check engine light is on and my muffler has a hole in it, and is making it very loudI intend to go tomorrow, but I just feel they will not do anything for me at this point and it has not even been a week yetI have big regrets going here so farIf anything changes I will be more then happy to change my review
CAN I AT LEAST DRIVE AROUND THE BLOCK A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE THE CAR STARTS TO BREAK?
Since this last reviewI had a gas leak and continuous check engine lights and epc lightEvery time I have brought the car into this location I do not get any sort of paperThe gas leak was fixed, but check this outThe car was inspected by *** *** and they sent the car back to *** *** to be fix???????Since when does a dealership does not inspect their own cars before they leave the facility to a new customer ( no paper work on this and was told to go to *** *** to get the paper workbut I bought the car at transit towne)I have asked multiple times for the EPC codes to be checked but haven't and not paperwork every time I have gone in and outI just think this is because they want this car to make it pass the days lemon law warranty and there is no proof I have been in there without paper workI had this EPC code checked by *** *** *** and found to be that it is a crank sensor and still has a evape leak pendingWhat a nightmare of a car and I'm the bad guy cause I chose this car??????

The dealership's negligence resulted in a $fine I will consider it resolved when the dealership agrees to reimburse us the $fine since it was the dealership that did not perform the necessary inspection when it was brought in for service
