Received an estimate to trim and thin 16 trees. When I questioned the estimate the arborist (Dan P.) stated this was a big job and the crew would be there "a majority" of the day. Much to my surprise, it took the crew less than 3.5 hours to completed the work. When I called the office and discuss the estimate I was told the they don't bid by the hour, but by the size of the job. Obviously, the job was not as big as I was led to believe. The job was sold under false pretenses and they could have cared less. Spoke with both Dan P. and Jason (GM?). I will never use Tree Pros again.

I was impressed with this Tree Pro's Professionalism from the moment I met The

Estimator through the final Job Cleanup.

My Experience with the Estimator, Communication with their office and the

Monitoring their field crews work was Excellent...All performed exceptional.

All went very smooth....

Sincerely,

Steve

Thank you for the feedback and for allowing us the opportunity to make things right.
Our field manager has visited your property to review the damages done to your bench and tree and we want to make things right with you. We will be refunding you $200, which is the pricing for the...

trimming of the Texas Ebony. We do not anticipate the tree having any issues but do encourage you to call us in the future if you do notice any issues with that tree. During the time of service we did move the bench at your request to reduce risk of damaging it. In that process, the seat separated from the legs as our crews picked it up to move it. I assure you that the damages caused were unintentional. If you have a company in mind, we can cover the cost for the repairs of your bench. I can also look into our referral list and see if anyone can assist you with the repairs of your bench.
Please let me know if this is an acceptable solution for you and I can get the refund processed immediately.
Thank you for your time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I appreciate your offer of trimming the trees at no cost but I do not plan to take the offer.  I am happy with the billing resolution.

I hired this company to trim my front yard trees and feed my shrubs on Monday (06-23-14). The trim looked fine. However, five days later (06-28-14) a huge branch on the tree snapped leaning into my other tree, dragging on the ground and into one of my shrubs. I contacted the company on 06-28-14 and was informed no one could come out until the middle of the next week (07-02-14) to assess what needed to be done. I told the what the problem was and how bad it looked (I also sent pictures) to no avail. I am now looking for someone who can repair the damage that has been done to my tree and hopefully to save the tree. Otherwise it may have to be removed. This is the worse service I have ever encounter. I learned a lesson from using a so called professional arborist to the sum of $590.

Tree Pro's front end service is very professional; the final work left a lot to be desired. The "arborist" who sold the job was very professional. The work was started on time and all went well until I realized the crew was leaving and had left huge stumps and a lot of mess behind. I stopped two of the workers and asked when the work would be completed. With a "smirk", the man said a "clean-up" crew would be around soon. I am left with an unsightly mess and a bill. I have sent an e-mail which has been ignored. Of course, I have received the bill for the 2nd half of the payment (which I have paid). If you use this company, be sure the amount of clean-up expected must be understood completely. I am physically incapable of completing this work myself and will have to pay someone else to clean up Tree-Pro's mess.

This company did a great job in removing a tree. We relied on them to pick out a new tree to replace the one taken out. We agreed on the type of tree to be replanted in the same area and the one that was brought out and planted looks like it was a cast off. The top is very crooked and the canopy is lopsided. When we called to tell them of our concerns it didn't seem to matter and we were stuck with what they gave us. I would not recommend them except if you need a tree removed.

Your crew just finished removing our huge Acacia tree from our back yard.

WHAT A PROFESSIONAL CREW!!! It was amazing how your 1 man was able to cut that tree down by himself.

They all were very safety minded and were very careful to not damage anything in our yard. He and his ground crew were awesome!

They cleaned up after the job and left the yard better than it was before they showed up.

Kudos's to the entire crew. I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone I knew that needed tree work done,

Thanks so much!

I live in [redacted] Storms are rare. However, a storm happened today and a tree fell onto my house. This company saved my day with their exceptional customer service: promptness and professionalism. A special thanks to [redacted] and [redacted] went the extra mile, which I would like to hearty thank him for! I would strongly recommend this company to everyone !

Tree Pro's recently trimmed 3 three trees at my residence. The trim does to the three trees was okay , but the clean up was poor. I have spent 2 hrs + cleaning the twigs, branches and debris left behind by Tree Pro's. The site was not raked or cleaned in any fashion. I found cut limbs up to 2-3" dia left in shrubbery and still hanging in the tree.

They made an unauthorized charge on my credit card after waiting the weekend to call them they did own up to their mistake and are refunding my money. If you do business with them, just be sure to check your charge card

Heartless bureaucracy hidden behind a smiling face. If they don't do the job right the first time, they will make your life a living hell.

Tree Pros gave me a quote (in writing) to remove the top 15 feet off my 45 ft tree, which was starting to become too large for the house.

The day they arrived, their non-english speaking team cut off a few smaller branches from the top, but removed only the top 5 ft of small, non-threatening branches, rather than the 15 ft I was paying for. I was not home at the time, but my wife recognized that the job had not been done correctly, and refused to pay them. When I arrived home, I did not even notice any work had been done. The before/after pictures were almost the same.

I called them later to say they had not completed the job, but was told I would have to wait for a supervisor to call me back. Nobody called, and I called several times trying to get the issue resolved. Finally, after several weeks of calling them, they sent another arborist to see what had been done, I showed him the previous quote, and the new arborist admitted the tree was rotten, cutting the tree in the first place was useless, and it should have been removed entirely. He even admitted he did not know why they had not mentioned it before. He quoted me a price to remove the tree, almost twice what other companies were charging for the same job.

After the weeks of runaround I did not trust Tree Pros to do the job, and wanted to try another company. I offered to pay Tree Pros half their original price for the tiny, useless job they had done, just to get them to stop calling me. Instead they hounded me with more calls to get me to pay the full amount, and did not seem to even notice I was unsatisfied with their work. I spoke with them at least 6 times in the space of 4 weeks. Each call center agent I spoke to said they did not even see notes on my account about my dispute.

Eventually they called to tell me that if I did not pay, they would send me to collections. They would not let me speak to the manager about my situation, and I never had a chance to talk to anyone in charge about my concerns. They did not seem to care, and did send me to collections, which I am now contesting.

Worst company I've ever worked with. Avoid at all costs.

Regards,

We apologize for the experience Mr. [redacted] has had with our company.  We appreciate him using our company over the last 4 years and certainly did not mean for this to happen.  We will be adjusting his invoice according as he has requested.  We will try to learn from this incident to...

improve the flow of information from the Arborist's/Estimators to the crews performing the work going forward.  We hope that Mr. [redacted] will look past this particular mishap and give us another chance in the future.

It is always disappoi

-0.1pt;">nting to us when we are unable to leave a customer satisfied. Despite many attempts we have been unable to pacify or reason with or come to an amicable resolution with this customer outside of giving money back for something we actually performed as agreed.   We are always; and were in this case, transparent in our service contracts. You will see that we contracted for Stump Grinding and our contract clearly explains what our Stump Grinding process is and what can be expected from this service. This is communicated verbally and backed up in writing in our written agreement. We did also agree to grind some surface roots that were growing above ground and did perform that work as well.   When we came back out to field the customers inquiry about his stump growing back. We re-informed him of the tendency for some trees to have sucker growth after they have been taken down and even stump ground as we did and that he will have to treat as a weed until it stops. We found this was actually the case in his situation and when we viewed the stump, there was no actual growth coming from the stump where we ground, but rather from the roots that grew laterally out from the trunk/stump throughout his property. We of course do not demo customers entire properties to remove entire root systems of trees that grow out sometimes 2-3 times past the canopy of the tree and certainly not for the price we charged. He had dug up and exposed some additional roots and claimed that we agreed to grind surface roots, we explained that was only the roots that were growing above ground which we already took care of initially, not roots that he exposed himself throughout his yard. We did offer however; as a courtesy, since he had exposed those additional lateral roots, to come and grind those for him at no charge. We explained however, that we had performed exactly what we agreed/contracted to and this was not included, but rather an attempt to offer excellent customer service.   He allowed us to do that and then after, still demanded us to address the greater issue at our expense of these sprouting roots all over his yard.   We have exhausted our efforts in trying to reason with this customer and provide a reasonable amount of customer service, but we have nothing more to provide at this point.   I have attached both our contract with the stump grinding terms highlighted as well as the pictures that the customer took and emailed us on June 7th which show that the stump that we ground was in fact ground per the contract and the “suckers” as explained by me and in the attached contract terms are the customers problem which we brought to his attention both verbally and in writing prior to engaging in service for this customer.

Tree Pro's are the PRO'S in Tree Service. The crew was very professional and courteous. Insured that no landscape was damage in removal of 20 foot Acacia tree.

We sincerely apologize for the experience the customer has had with our company.  The lack of service provided by our representatives is unacceptable.  Corrections will be made in all departments to make sure this is not a repeated or ongoing problem with any future services provided by...

our company.  The full amount will be refunded to the customer promptly and anything additional we can do to make this right will be our top priority.

I sincerely apologize for the experience this customer has had with our company.  With the best of intentions we failed to properly communicate, prepare and deliver the products and services as agreed.  For this reason I am refunding the customer's deposit and am not going to charge them...

for any services already performed.  In addition, I am willing try to find the tree the customer had selected, upgrade it to a 24" box size (if available) and plant it for them as originally intended at no cost to the customer.  While I can't change what happened in the past, I want to make every effort to do what I can do to make this right with this customer.   If anything, I want them to know that although we may not be a perfect company, we own up to our failures and will do our best to rectify the situation as well as use this feedback and experience to improve our communication, processes and procedures in the future.

The guys at Tree Pros did a wonderful job. They were fast, efficient, and very safety conscious. The cleanup after was more then I expected and very thorough. I would use them again and recommend them to all. Satisfied customer.

My first interaction with Tree Pro's was in regards to damage done to my mailbox while they were working on my neighbor's yard/trees. I called and spoke to Yesenia to informed them of the situation. She was understanding and had a field service manager to evaluate the situation and determine next steps. In less than 2 weeks, I had a new mailbox. During this time, there was constant communication to advise the status. I was so pleased with the customer service, I contracted Tree Pros to take care of trimming and cleaning my yard. They are excellent at committing to their customers!
