I purchased two Lazy Boy Recliner, Swivel Rockers from their Costa Mesa store Both in stock from the warehouse When delivered (12/11/15)one was without the swivel base After taking receipt of them and contacting the store so that the swivel could be mailed out to us Upon sitting in the chair with the swivel we were aware that the ends of both arms were lacking foam support to the ends of the arms leaving divets shall we say Reported with to the sales rep as again we could not get an answer from customer care I explained that I would not call CC again because of no answer and that she needed to contact them with the problem and have them contact me with a resolution Today's date is 12/15/04) I understand from the manager that we were to have inspected the chairs which we did however you would not have noticed the divets in the end of the arms until you sat in the chairs and placed your arms there We have always owned Lazy Boy but this last experience is leaving us doubtful

Once again I would like to thank Lazy Boy for fulfilling their warranty obligation They not only replaced a chair bottom several months ago But they replaced a broken spring in a year chair my wife will not part with The store that helped with all my repairs was Herman's Furniture in Sandusky, Ohio Stop an see them at their new location behind Penny's at the mall by the theaters !

This is the worst experience I've ever had in regards to customer serviceThey have had to change my delivery date three times because they can't figure out their own scheduleI will never purchase another lazy boy product and will try my best to inform others to do the same

I , like many others it seams, bought furniture at the Lazy Boy store in Evansville IndianaThe sofa I purchased seems fine so farI also purchased two higher end recliners assuming , because they were the Lazy Boy brand, they would be good qualityThey were notHad trouble with the feet rests and how the backs fit on the second dayI called the store, they sent out a service guy, and he brought a part which fixed the one recliner but he said the other one "was just made that way." I didn't call the store back but I have told everyone I know that lazy boy no longer lives up to their reputationNot by a long shotStay away from them

We purchased a recliner that was delivered about a month ago When we dropped something on it last week, I dabbed the spot with a cold, damp cloth The color of the blue chair came off on my cloth As I kept dabbing, the spot on the chair got lighter and the cloth got bluer The upholestry fabric was not colorfast! After several phone calls to Lazyboy, they assured me a service man should come look but that won't be for at least another or weeks Would I like to take pictures and send them in for their review? No one at the store can help us because their job is only sales and they do not deal with customer service No kidding I am furious! How in the world this passed any sort of inspection is beyond me This says volumns about Lazyboys quality control

I ordered a custom leather recliner, waited a long time for it, and when I finally got it, it is shabbily made It cost over $for a single chair I went to the store the day after delivery with photos, and was turned over to Comfort Care They, in turn, sent out a so-called technician, and he said the following flaws are "Normal" : puckered cushion all around the seat not enough stuffing in the back back is not aligned in the frame raw edges and thread hanging off the back, and around the rear legs noisy reclining mechanism dents in the arm cushioning where it appears something heavy was put on them So far I have spoken with Comfort Care, the store, and the so-called technician, and I feel satisfaction from this company is going to be an uphill battle I would never give La-Z-Boy another chance, nor would I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product I saw chairs made in China for less than half what I paid that were better made I wonder how my chair ever made it past an inspector I have written up my complaints, documented with photos and submitted them to Comfort Care If I don't get any satisfaction from them soon, I will file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and all other organizations that handle these types of consumer issues Thank you Revdex.com for the opportunity recount my experience

We would never, ever again buy or recommend La-Z-Boy to anyone Have a problem with or require service for a piece of furnitureForget itEvery phone call that is made gets referred to another numberWhen asked by a rep, via telephone, about a stain situation I was informed that she would ask me questions and that I could not change my answersHow's that for concern? There is a seam starting to splitFirst words of another rep.."It's the manufacturer." Your customer service STINKS and your uncaring attitude is worse!

I bought recliners at the Lafayette,in store weeks later one of the arms was loose Turned it over Staples were pulled loose Took it back on a Friday I called the following Wednesday They said the mechanism was broken, causing the arm to break loose They ordered the mechanism For this to happen we think it had to be dropped We asked for another chair They said they could not do that

Very disappointed in lazy boy spent 2,on a sofa and love seat in Jan.of have had customer service out or times to fix a few things, some of the other problems we had we were told there was nothing wrong ,went to the store, salesman said that the furniture shouldn't be like that but unfortunately we were 2mon.past warranty,l started calling and complaining about the furniture months after we got it ,the furniture will be 3yrs.old in January it hurts to sit on it ,the back shakes, when you move it it feels like it's gonna crack in half, the recliner moves by itself, the love seat slants toward the middle,it's so uncomfortable you don't want to sit on it.l will never buy lazy boy again

This is a negative review of both La-Z-Boy and their service company I bought a recliner for $from La-Z-Boy in Temecula, CA, last August It came in September Within weeks the padding had begun to deteriorate I am not a large woman and this chair was designed for a large man, so it was not because of my size The footrest went first There was so little padding that my feet were sitting on a little fabric and bare wood, which really hurt The fabric in the footrest stretch out of shape so that it actually folded over on itself by inches Yes, I measured it Then the padding in the arm rests compacted so it would shift and had to pull it over into the right place again so it would sit under my arms correctly The padding in the lower back compacted, so my head was pushed forward One of the reasons I had bought that chair was because it had enough padding in the back so that my head rested comfortably, because I have neck problems Finally, after about months, I could feel the wood under me when I sat and the reclining mechanism, the handle of which had never been easy to pull, shifted and started rubbing on the fabric of the chair At that point I'd had it, I called La-Z-Boy and told them the situation and requested that the chair be replaced They sent a technician out He told me I should have ordered the memory foamHe finally said, grudgingly, that he would order the padding and have the back padding and seat padding replaced, and that he would have someone move around the mechanism so it didn't rub, but that I was stuck with the footrest and the arms the way they were I was not happy with that (understandably), so I called the main office several times and FINALLY got them to agree to credit me for the chair IF I would buy a sofa instead This time I spent another $(I still thought I could trust them), made sure to get the memory foam and got the electric mechanism It took another weeks to get I loved it, but this time there was one place on the back that wasn't padded correctly (it puckered in) when I got it and there were a few loose strings from stitching The back on the moving sections also didn't seem to be solidly fastened I called for a technician and he was very cordial and fixed the back and the strings with no problem - no big deal Then he said that more padding could be added to the back to fix that one place and that a little could be added to another place on the other side The salespeople had not told me that the back had absolutely no memory foam in it, but was the same padding that was used in the other chair Well, I waited weeks for the bag of padding to come Then, as instructed, I called for another technician to come out I had to wait weeks for the first available date They would not guarantee that it would be a morning appointment, even though I work in the afternoons and cannot take off work - They do not come on the weekends So when I got the call that they were coming between and 5, I had to call and reschedule I waited another weeks This time they were coming in the morning, but they actually went to the WRONG ADDRESS! When I bought the chair, I lived with my sister, but it was delivered to my new address, as was the sofa The first technician came to my correct address But THIS next technician went to my sister's and then told me he couldn't service "that far away" - I live minutes from my sister So I called the service company AND La-Z-Boy and made sure that everyone had the right address, and waited ANOTHER two weeks for the next technician to come out By this time, the padding on the back of this chair had started to shift and compact a little Again, one of the reasons I had bought this particular sofa was that it had enough back support that it didn't push my head forward But the back padding had shifted and was causing me to slouch and pushing my head forward Enough padding had been sent that the problem could have been easily fixed However, THIS technician told me that, even though the padding had been ordered by another technician and delivered, he wasn't ALLOWED to put more padding in it It was against a company rule!!!? This, even though the back had not been padded correctly in the first place Then he told me, really making it sound like it was my fault, that I had bought a chair that was too large for me Of course, he said that the salespeople would never say that, as they just wanted me to buy a chair and didn't care about anything afterwards He said he would "fluff" the padding in there but that it wouldn't last and that, basically, I was just out of luck Then he told me just to pound on the back of the chair so "reset" the padding as best I could, and that even though I had bought an extended warrantee, the company would not allow technicians to come out and fix it again "if he wrote his report correctly", which I assume he did

I bought a lazy boy recliner at Ricks Furniture in Kerrville Tx and years later the recliner has completely broken downThe construction of the lazy boy frame is made of Particle board about half inch thickThe Particle board has disintegrated where the life time warranted steel is attachedThey offered to repair the chair at my expense But the lazy boy product is obviously made of material that will not lastSo my $which I paid for it is down the drainIf I paid for the repair, I know it still would not work very long because of the poor material of which it is made

I purchased my very first Dodge product from Halifax Chrysler in the last month or soI went to Halifax Chrysler mainly due to locationWe negotiated a trade in value and was literally blind sided and in my opinion was [redacted] of my tax savingsWe agreed on a very firm trade value which luckily I had signed off onWhen the final papers were drawn up someone at the dealership basically removed 15% from my trade value so they now had the tax savingsSo instead of me saving $plus tax (Therefore $6900), Mr Dodge man had my trade set at $plus tax savings of 15% I was caught off guard and basically signed the papers because I was led to beleive this was finalI walked out of the dealership with a sour taste in my mouth to get at the wheel of my NEW vehicle and there is kms on the odometer Being naive I assumed this is a BRAND new vehicle and should not have many kms, my first question was is this a dealer demo? So after approaching Halifax Chrylser the following day and complaining of these issues, they agreed to give me $back and a credit towards the first oil change at their garageFor me questioning the kilometers I was told this is normal, "Not like it had kms on it I was told"The vehicle they guessed must of come from another dealership when dealers make trades of new inventory I purchased many new vehicles over the years and have never seen anything like thisWhen I pay the hefty delivery charge approaching $one would expect the vehicles comes on a truck to a location alot closer then kms from the dealership If my new vehicle has a problem up to kms over warranty, who is left to loose? This was my first purchase at Halifax Chrysler and will be my last [redacted] ? It can't be that I lucked out for all these years of buying new cars that my trade values were always before tax and that my NEW vehicles always had less then I would guess 50kms on the odometerThe morale of the story, if you buy from Halifax Chrysler ask to see the final numbers before you pick up your vehicle and ask to know the odometer reading when your salesperson selects your VIN number to secure your vehicle

On Saturday, December 17, 2016, my wife and I visited your showroom at E SOUTHPORT RD, INDIANAPOLIS, IN , My wife was going to buy me a recliner for ChristmasWe picked out the one we wanted, called a sales rep over and he checked to see if it was in stockHe indicated that it wasn't and said it'd be to weeks deliveryHe then informed us of an additional $fee to get it delivered to the store from your warehouse in Columbus, IndianaAt first I thought he might not be serious but then I realized he was very seriousI was utterly dismayed and shockedUpon recovering from that, I said "Wait, let me get this straightWe, the customer, have to pay to have the chair delivered to the very store we're sitting in, right now?"He confirmed and we left I was utterly disgustedThis is the very definition of "hidden cost"You lost a $plus sale not because I didn't have another $but because this is a cost I should not have to incurI felt sorry that your stores reps are the ones who have to tell customers about thisThis is absurd!!!!!!!! The $plus sale is not the only cost herePlease be reminded that any future dealings with your company are in serious jeopardy

We purchased a top of the line power recliner from La-Z-Boy in San DiegoAt check out, without telling us, $was added to the invoice When challenged we were told we picked a different color fabric than the floor model After some heated complaint the additional charge was backed out After delivery, after a day or so the chair developed a toxic chemical odor that was growing stronger in the next few days My wife and I developed headaches and called the store and got nowhere We called corporate and was told the smell was from flame rdant and they they could send someone over but it would take weeks That was unacceptable so we asked for some one higher in authority We were told that there was no phone number we could complain to, or try to get a earlier date and we had to use e-mail We had to use e-mail to contact someone to come sooner as well At virtually every level there was no phone number to callAll the while the odor was more prevalent and smelled up the entire room We were thoroughly frustrated Two e-mails were sent but not responded to We ended up taking the chair back to the store and told them we were going to reverse the charges on our credit card Only then did they refund our moneyAfter this unpleasant experience I googled the company and found over one star reviews and five star onesI will not buy from them again, nor recommend them

I will never buy another Lazy Boy piece of furniture We have always purchased Lazy Boy recliners and loved them - however about 1/ years ago we replaced our year old recliners with new ones They were a nightmare The padding all 'sunk' so you felt like you were sitting in a hole, the padding on the back and arms seemed to just disappear as the stuffing just packed down Every time we raised and lowered the foot rest it sounded like they were going to break It sounded like a wood sound instead of a metal soundWe purchased another brand just recently and had our Lazy Boy recliners hauled over to Value VillageWe just gave one of our sons a Lazy Boy sleeper sofa about or years old and it is still in great shape THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USED TOO !

DO NOT BUY THIS FURNITURE! WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET! My husband and I have been through months now of trying to get furniture repaired that was delivered in terrible condition Their "repair service" made the furniture worse than it was in the beginning! One recliner doesn't recline all the way because they tried to "fix" gaps it came with between the arms & the seat by shortening the seat.?! Gaps aren't repairedFootrest catches on front arm of chair so it doesn't go all the way back, and now it goes back crooked AND.....it creaks! Both chairs are so under padded that the fabric wrinkles The sofa has nothing supporting the ends The springs under the end of the cushions just stop without touching the sides, so the center sits firm, but after about a week the ends sit like a year old couch It would take too long to describe what we have gone through with the repair centerIt has been exhausting, frustrating, ridiculous and just stupid! I can't believe a company can get away with this kind of fraud If you have been sucked in by La-Z-Boy recently, if you used a Visa or MasterCard, I think you have some protection through your card company They should be good for something, right? Also, go to the trouble of filing a complaint with the Revdex.com You can do it online, pretty painless, and if enough of us do it....who knows ? Maybe we can put these swindlers out of business?

This complaint concerns the La-Z-Boy store on Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, FL On April 13, 2014, I ordered a set of Spectator Chairs and provided a down payment of one-half total cost To date, July 16, 2014, the furniture is not delivered nor do I have a scheduled delivery date In addition, the two representatives from the store, Store Director and Sales Woman, are non-responsive and/or unable to provide details on status of order and delivery date The best these two individuals can do is to offer excuses, and this only occurs after I call them The promises of a return or follphone call are hollow from either individual I have been a La-Z-Boy customer for 15+ years enjoying both the quality of the product and customer service The fine print on the contract indicates a special order, which most everything from La-Z-Boy is special order unless you buy off the floor, is a non-refundable purchase I am going to attempt to cancel order to receive a refund, which given this experience appears unlikely The Fort Myers store is a disaster I wholeheartedly recommend avoiding this store and its staff

Poor quality product!! I have to share this complaint because the quality of the leather recliner we purchased is so poor Two years ago, we purchased a beautiful leather swivel recliner Within a year,I noticed the leather on the arms of the chair started wearing away As time has gone by other areas are wearing away Ok....I let that go because the chair is the perfect size and swivel recliners are hard to find that are descent looking Last night ,I sat in my husbands chair and the cushion on the seating is virtually worn away I could almost feel the frame of the chair I always heard that Lazy boy was THE company for recliners but I have to say this chair is sub par in every way I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LA-Z-BOY RECLINERS PERIOD!! I am one dissatisfied customer

I ordered a sectional from the store in Huntsville, AL on March 29, I was told it was special order (requiring half paid down) and would take 8-weeks to arrive As of today, Sept 1, 2014, I still have not received the items orderedI will NEVER do business with this company again

Worst customer service purchased a brand new couch, love seat and recliner for just under four thousand The couches are quickly loosing their fluff and their repairs are horrible Do not buy from this company Every time we call they request all of the info every time and what's wrong It even shows the work order as being closed prior to any customer contact Never again will we go through this company And to get them to call us back is like pulling teeth from a shark, impossible
