I am rejecting this response because: I paid $to this business without my informed consent as I believed I was renewing my business name directly with Alameda County The completed paperwork they mailed me was the form that is used at the Alameda County Recorder's office and I didn't know that 3rd parties had access to my information and would be sending solicitations to do this service for me I live only a few miles from the County Recorder's office and would have happily completed this paperwork on my own, had I received the reminder from the county and known that these forms were from a private company Nowhere on the paperwork did it say that this was a solicitation and that I would be able to renew on my own if I chose do and had months to do so In fact, their misleading paperwork said that I would need to send in their forms "no later than 3/31/to ensure time for processing to avoid cancellation of your fictitious business name" That of course, is not true Had I not completed their forms, I would have still had months to renew my business name without fear of cancellation And there is no reason it this business should need months to send paperwork from Sacramento to Alameda County $less the $filing fee is not $65, it is $which is the least that this company should be refunding me However, given that I didn't intend to use a 3rd party service and was misled by their unethical adversing and business practices, I want a refund in the full amount of $ Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: This action of removing my business from the list does not resolve the problem of sending your forms to other business Because of the look of the form, they, like I did, believe your form to be an legitimate government agency form

The renewal application was mailed to this consumer in an envelope marked, "Sign & Return Documents Enclosed." These documents were mailed on April 30, to an address on Mariposa Ave Apt in Oakland Ca We have yet to receive those documents back to complete the renewal If you have not received these in the mail, we would be happy to resend Once you receive the documents, you would want to review the information to make sure there are no errors, then sign and return in the enclosed envelope
