This account was assigned to us for collection on 3/30/12. It was reported to the credit bureau on 5/11/12. It was paid in full on 8/14/12. There has been no request for validation received.

Our business licence is attached. Ms. [redacted] never requested communication in writing only, so this will serve as notification.

The balance due is zero because he paid it! He paid it 3 months after it was reported to his credit report. Once it's placed on their credit they pay it, it will show as paid in full, it doesn't get removed.

The account was indeed sent to us on 9/23/14. Our 1st notice was generated that day to the address supplied by our client. No mail has been returned.
I spoke directly with Mr. [redacted] yesterday and advised I would generate another letter to his current address in LA. That should go out with 24...

hours.
The policy cancelled for non payment in 2010. Our client sent it to us for collections and it was uploaded into our system on 9/23/14. The Statute of Limitations to sue on a breach of contract has expired - Credit reporting is up to 7 years.
My client has informed me that they made several attempts to notify Mr. [redacted] of his outstanding balance, to no avail.
As of this date, the account remains unpaid.

If she will called our office rather than contact the Revdex.com, the collection issue would have been explained to her. Since Revdex.com complaints are public records, I suggest she call into our office and we can tell her about the issue.

I am rejecting this response because: I terminated the call. All I asked for was something in writing,  which they said they had sent.  They refused to send another copy. I looked into this,  this afternoon and found out that this is a scam this company uses so that there is nothing in writing so that they can then get your credit card over the phone. They then charge up to 10 times what they were originally asking for and because there is nothing in writing they get away with overcharging and taking your money.  I talked with a reputable collection agent and was given this information.  This complaint had now been taken over by an investigator that is currently working this case.

The account was assigned to us in September, 2014 for collection. A series of 4 letters were sent, none of which were returned to us, advising of the debt. There was no response to any of those letters. Before assigning the account to us, my client as well sent a series of letters, with no...

response.Ms. [redacted] paid her balance in full on 1/28/15. Her account wil be updated with the credit bureau to reflect a paid  in full status. We don't remove from the credit bureau.

I am rejecting this response because: I made a good faith payment and gave them my debit card info and told them to charge the remaining balance at a letter date. Yes, I was advised that if payment was not received in full that it would be reported to my credit.  But Mrs. [redacted] suggested that for payment in full I could make a good faith payment and give them my debit card info and authorization to charge the remaining balance at a later date. I complied with what she was suggesting. And considered it a resolved issue as of that date since they would just charge my card on the date I authorized and there would not be any further communication/payment necessary when I hung up from that call. This was less than 30 days from the date of initial letter. This company does not do what they say. I still have not received my letter that shows this was paid. I should have received it last month. I would like Revdex.com to investigate this further with [redacted] agency ([redacted]) because I have called them on three different occasions and have been informed this was written off and turned over to universal recovery corporation in December 31, 2011. Not September 23, 2014 as they claim.

Our client assigned this account to us on 9/23/2014 - not 12/2011, hence the reason her letter was dated 9/23/14. The debt originated in 11/09. The account was uploaded to [redacted] on 11/4/14. The consumer was advised that without payment in full, it would be reported to her credit report....

The upload to reflect a paid in full status was uploaded to [redacted] on 12/1/14.

We have complied each time Ms. [redacted] requested an itemized breakdown. Due to HIPPA laws, I cannot provide the information to the Revdex.com. Ms. [redacted] is more than welcome to come into the office and pick them up. Our address is 2880 Sunrise Blvd, Suite 136 ~ Rancho Cordova, CA. 95742.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree that I owe that money. The apartment was in better condition when I left it than when I got it.. they did not paint did not change blinds did not clean carpets did not even vacuum or clean the apartment at all . the Windows were sealed shut and the whole apartment was a disaster. The person that came to remove my belongins did not take the belongings he only took a matress and boxspring. He gave away.and they did not professional clean the apartment either where are the receipts for all this fake charges she is making up  my couch to thw the downstairs neighbor and left a crate of my pictures outside .. I have plenty of witnesses that will tell you the same thing

Attached is the move out calculation provided to Ms. [redacted] and any other tenants. This was sent to her shortly after moveout. If Ms. [redacted] can provide any documentation that she had the premises cleaned and repaired, please provide that and I will forward it to my client for review.  However, please note that the eviction happened in April 2013..... Why was this not disputed before?

Attached are the itemized statement Mr. [redacted] has requested. The attachments are also being sent via certified mail. Both [redacted] accounts are paid in full. The [redacted]., account is still outstanding.

I am rejecting this response because: Attacehed is the letter that was mailed on October 2nd, it was delivered at your Rancho Cordova office at 1:16pm on October 6th 2014

It wasn't paid in full before the credit reporting happened and there was no guarantee the credit card charge would go through the day it was authorized. A new paid in full letter was generated today.

I am rejecting this response because: I never received any letters from the original insurance company or this collection agency. When were these letters sent? How come I wasn't notified once I cancelled my insurance of a payment due? I'm active duty military and I have been since 2009 I move around alot, but I've never received any notification. I also only agreed to pay the full balance of the account because it was a negative account on my credit report that was in collections and I was told it would be remove If I pay it in  full. Now I can't even get someone on the phone to discuss a promise that was made to me by one of their employees. I've never even heard of the company H H agency before and that was considered the original company on the credit report. There are several individuals who have the sa me issue with this company.

Ms. [redacted] has 2 separate accounts with our office. My client is the Plantiff in the eviction, the 1st account. The eviction money Judgment was for back rent only. The Judgment ordered her to move from the premises and entered a money Judgment for $5349.00 plus costs. Post Judgment interest has been...

added as is allowed by law. The 2nd account: After the Defendant vacated the premises, my client had to repair, clean, etc., the apartment for the next tenants. This was not a part of the eviction/back rent Judgment. My client has the right to assign the account to an outside collection agency to collect on their behalf, which they have done. Any arrangements Ms. [redacted] wishes to make should be directed to our office. Our client will only refer her here if she contacts them.

Review: On April 5,2016 around 930 I called This company to speak with the Head manager [redacted] I have been calling for the past 3 weeks and my call was never returned.I got her extension 314 and as soon as she answered the phone she told me to hold she was very rude.I was on hold for 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Then asked my reason for calling. When I gave her the information she then told me that I have already been sent a notice that my ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID AND CLOSED. IF I RECEIVED THIS THEN I WOULDN'T BE CALLING. I TOLD HER I NEVER GOT THAT IN THE MAIL IT COULD HAVE BEEN LOST BECAUSE I NEVER RECEIVED A SETTLEMENT LETTER OR ANYTHING IN THE MAIL SHOWING MY ACCOUNT WAS PAID IN FULL AND CLOSED. SHE TOLD ME CHECK MY BANK STATEMENT. I TOLD HER MY BANK STATEMENT DOES NOT SHOW ME THE INFORMATION I NEED THIS IS WHY I AM CALLING. She then argued with me saying sHE "DOES NOT DO THAT" and "I'm not going to send it AGAIN!" I was extremely shocked and that THE MANAGER AND THE PERSON IN CHARGE RAiSeD HER VOICE this literally turned into an argument. she refused to help me and I asked for somebody else I could talk to that is above her she laughed ans said " I AM the boss. And I can hang up or call back to get "customer service." I have asthma and this put me in a very scary state as It raised my blood pressure and caused me to get dizzy as I needed to hang quickly because she refused to help.

there is no way she should be continuing to hold this position this business needs to be investigated and need to look at the reviews that people are leaving regarding this company. I' m very disappointed and angry. I NEED THIS SETTLEMENT LETTER AS I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A CAREER WITH THE FEDERAL BUREAU. I NEED PROOF FROM THIS COMPANY THAT MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL I WOULD LIKE IT SENT TO MY EMAIL AS IT IS THE FASTEST WAY FOR ME TO GET THIS INFORMATION. I WOULD ALSO LIKE AN APOLOGY. WHEN I CALLED HER BACK SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE AND I LEFT HER A VOICE MESSAGE STATING HOW RUDE SHE HAS POOR CUST. SERVICEDesired Settlement: AN VERBAL FROM [redacted] LANGLY A SETTLEMENT LETTER SENT TO MY EMAIL AND MAIL SHOWING THAT MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL, ITS CLOSED, AND THE ACCOUNT NUMBER IN THE LETTER. I ALSO WANT THE CONTACT INFORMATION TO A PERSON ABOVE THE MANAGER [redacted]. I WANT TO COMPLAIN TO A PERSON WHO SHE ANSWERS TO OR THE OWNERS OR HER BOSS IMMEDIATELY. I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT SHE HAS A CORRECTIVE ACTION AGAINST HER SHE NEEDS TO BE DOCUMENTED FOR HER POOR SERVICE BEING A MANAGER. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

Response:

The 1st phone call I received from Ms. [redacted] was today. There were no prior messages left for me. Ms. [redacted] was already sent a letter advising the account was paid in full to the address she supplied. This letter has not been returned to us. She does have her bank/credit card statement showing the payment to us. Additionally, the account was paid on 2/26/16 and notice was sent to the credit bureau to which we report on 3/2/16. Ms. [redacted] wasn't getting the answer she wanted and requested my supervisor. I have no supervisor. She continued to call back and harass my receptionist and left several harassing messages on my voice mail as well. Another paid in full letter was generated today to the address supplied by Ms. [redacted], which she verified with me that it was correct.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I would like to hear the "several messages" that this general manager alleged that I have made. I have documented each time I called and its dated back to four weeks. I was always referred to "[redacted]" I was told to leave a message and she will get back to me. This was four weeks ago.I called yesterday and got her extension of 314. I did not harass any6 receptionist I did call every other day for total of four weeks to speak with someone , and called TODAY trying to get someone ABOVE THIS LADY. Today is the only day I got a hold of this RUDE MANAGER . A CORRECTIVE ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AND DONE. CHECK OTHER REVIEWS AND COMPLAINTS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. THE COMPLAINTS SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.I WILL NOT TOLERATE THE DISRESPECT AND THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS MANAGER. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SHE KEEPS INSISTING I CHECK MY BANK STATEMENT WHEN THAT DOES NOT SHOW THE INFORMATION I AM REQUESTING. I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOVE [redacted]. SHE DOESN'T SIGN HER OWN CHECKS, THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE ABOVE HER. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING UNTIL THAT HAS BEEN DONE AND TAKEN CARE OF. A SETTLEMENT SENT TO MY EMAIL, AN APOLOGY, AND I WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOVE [redacted]. NOBODY SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS. IF YOU NEED DATES AND TIMES I CALLED I WILL BE HAPPEN TO SEND IT.

Response:

There is no one above me to talk to. I delete my messages as I respond to them so my mailbox remains empty. 2 letters have been generated to Ms. [redacted], therefore, there is nothing further I can do.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: This does not justify the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE that was provided VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Deleting messages as you respond ,but I never once got a call. You would think if a person leaves "several Harassing messages" that that person would NOT DELETE them and use that as PROOF/EVIDENCE Unless MS. [redacted] signs her own checks that she receives on her payday ,and her name is on them , then that would mean there is no one above her. This WILL NOT RESOLVE MY ISSUE/CONCERN until what I have asked is given. I know ms [redacted] is probably is used to providing horrible experiences based on the many horrible reviews that she has stating her NAME but I will not Tolerate NOR ACCEPT this or LET IT GO. Back to my original complaint that IS WHAT I'M SEEKING nothing less nothing more.

Review: I received a call saying that I had a bounced check with my local grocery store. They informed me that they were charging me 3x the amount of the check under the statutory damages law. When I asked the supervisor([redacted]) to explain the statutory law to me she said she doesn't have to. I then asked her to please send me a bill or something for me to keep a paper trail and she said she's already done that and she would not send it to me again. She became very angry and began telling me that she would get what she wanted from me one way or another, I informed her that I was willing to pay in payments and she would not accept that, demanding a debit or credit card number from me and saying she will only accept the lump sum and that she knows my finances very well and that it wont be a problem for me to make those payments. She then threatened to inform my commanding officer and do what she could to get me kicked out of the navy. I asked over and over if she would please send me proof of my bill and she refused and screamed at me and told me to shut my mouth so she could talk. She warned me not to contact the grocery store from which the check originally came from.Desired Settlement: I would like this business to be shut down, there threats and vulgar language are completely unacceptable for a business of any kind especially of one trying to get money from someone. I don't know these people from Adam, but they are demanding my account number and telling me I owe triple the amount of the original check. At the very least I would like for this company to never contact me again and have my debt transferred to another company. I am more than happy to pay this bill.

Response:

This account was assigned to us for collection on 12/9/13. On that day, we sent a demand letter to 2 different addresses, certified mail, in compliance with CCCS 1719(a), to Mr. [redacted] advising him that he had 30 days from that day in which to make good the dishonored check. The letters were returned to us unclaimed.

On January 30, 2014, my collector, Ms. [redacted], spoke with Mr. [redacted] and advised him that he had failed to respond to the notice and that Statutory damages had been added at 3 times the amount of the check plus the check amount. He had been notified by his bank that the check had not cleared AND in balancing his checkbook/statements he would have been notified that this check didn't clear. We had already sent him 2 letters, 1 of which was sent certified mail, yet he wanted another letter. Another letter was generated that same day.

Ms. [redacted] and myself explained to him, several times, outlining CCCS 1719(a). He never once said he wanted to make payments, only that he wasn't going to pay. We advised him we'd continue with collection efforts to protect our clients interests at which time he hung up. He kept calling back trying to get someone else, but was always referred to me. He said he had recorded our entire conversation, without my knowledge. I advised I was terminating the call and did so.

My conversation as well as Ms. [redacted]s was monitored. Upon 1st speaking to Mr. [redacted], we both advised that the call could be monitored and/or recorded. None of what he claims happened. We have been in business over 20 years and we do not break the law.

Mr. [redacted] is welcome to contact my client. I am sure they will refer him back here and that is exactly what I told him.

Review: My boyfriend and I had recently abtained a copy of our credit report an found a few things we were totally unaware of. So I called this company to resolve this and gave her the info that was on the credit report. I asked her what this was, she then, in a very sacastic and unfriendly manner, (I could instaintly tell her attitude was going to be unfriendly), she proceeded to tell me the com- pany and the amount. I then told her that we never had them do that high dollar amount of work, it was more then half the original amount. She then said, "well if you'd quit talking I'll tell you. She said there was added fee's it had acquired, she was explaining all of this SO fast I could'nt understand her to even write any of this info down, so I asked her to slow down so I could write and try to comprehend all this info. I also had some questions. She was SO rude and cold and she had me so intimidated by her attitude I FROZE, thats how she was making me feel, I was being treated like a criminal being bbookedand that I haO rights. I asked to speak with her supervisor, well if you'd quit talking maybe you would understand" I think she said.I was actually affraid to say anything because how intimidating and unwilling to let me say any thing. She wanted me to no she was in control of even what II git her supervisor she looked up the account and asked what the problem was I told her all I wanted was fir her to slow down so I could write all the info sge was giving me there were code and civil code court this and this code number this. WI realized what had ha and told her we were unaware of this and had we had kniwn we would have definitely taken care if it. We had ckised that account because money was being taken out ppened was allowed to say. I was close to tears. So when I got her supervisorso upset on how she was treating me, she made me feel like I had no rights as human that I was less then a person and that I had no rights. Theres more to this, ni room to conDesired Settlement: I just want them to no just because they are collectors DOES NOT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO TREAT PEOPLE like we are criminals with no rights to ask questions about anything, they basically treated me like they have the POWER to do what thay want I felt totally helpless. I hung up I could'nt take this abuse any more. They had me in TEARS and I got no where infact its worse. Their not any better than you or I, these people abused me mentally I never had anyone treat me the way these people did...!!

Business

Response:

Ms. [redacted] was given all the information she requested. She wasn't happy with the amount owed and requested a settlement. She was offered a settlement, but wanted it even lower. When she was told that was the best offer we could give, she stated we were treating her like a criminal and hung up. At no time was she threatened or treated badly....
