Universal Survey Center Reviews (42)

Review: ...1st of all, I am on the Federal Do-Not-Call list ( have been for years and re-up as necessary ), this Company have called for many weeks, but will not leave a message on my machine.

...As I do not answer live calls from a Business I have never done business with, I expect any HONEST BUSINESS to leave a message as to the reason for contacting me, or else they should not ever call again. I will be the Judge as to whether I will speak to you or not. This way only I determine if I want to be contacted again later.Desired Settlement: ...Either leave a message on my machine and let me determine should I want to speak to you, or do not call again.

Review: Continuous harassment wanting surveys and will not connect me to a supervisor I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list and I have registered to not be called. I honestly think they have singled me out and just want to aggravate meDesired Settlement: Quit calling me

Review: This company has called us every single day for over two weeks as of October **, 2013 and each time we have emphatically requested that they stop calling. They don't seem to understand this request because they keep calling!Desired Settlement: Never call us again!

Thank you,

Review: This company calls my cell phone continuously. I received 2 calls from them on Jan **, 2014 at 4:12pm and 7:13pm. 2 calls January **at 4:32pm and 6:29pm. And so far 1 call Feb **, 2014 at 9:22am. I answered 2 calls. And no one says anything. So I have not answered any more calls and they continue to call my cell phone. Which I don't think they have any right too. I remember getting these calls a year ago and I just ignored them. But I really feel bothered by there calls. I purposely have a cell phone just for friends and business I know. I don't want anybody calling my cell phone for surveys. I've heard this business if you call them back they charge your phone oversees long distance calls. I am not about to call them back. But I am tired of getting phone calls from them on my cell phone.Desired Settlement: I don't want them calling me anymore.

Review: This business operates as a survey and "claim" not to be telemarketing. The phone call is non-stop. more than 2 to 3 times a day. I put in the removal request and also decline with the "live operator" (maybe these are bunch of walking dead heads!)I also left message with "somebody" that I will go to the local DA Office to file harassment complaint. That still did not stop. I am starting to use 4 letter words in my message and welcome them to call the local police for me. Any other suggestion?Desired Settlement: JUST CEASE AND DESIST. I AM WONDERING IF SOMEBODY IS WAITING TO FILE CLASS ACTION SUIT. THE BUSINESS OWNER SHOULD GO TO JAIL AFTER HARASSMENT TRAINING.

Review: Representatives from this company repeatedly call me, I have asked them to please remove me from their calling list to no avail. I am handicapped and it is painful to have to answer these calls. The phone they are calling me on is a pre-paid cellphone, they continue to waste my valuable minutes with their arrogant and ignorant business practice.Desired Settlement: To stop contacting me immediately. If I continue to receive phone calls from them, I want to be compensated for the wasted minutes I have lost on my phone.

Review: They are a survey company and I said I do not want to do surveys and to please put me on their no call list. At that point they call at 8:00pm 9:30pm every night if not more. They still call and say the only way to get them to stop calling is to answer their survey. This is a terrible business practice and is harassment if not extortion. They do have a page for call list removal but it does not seem to work. [redacted] they still call and repeat the same thing the only way to stop the calls is to answer the surveyDesired Settlement: I wish for them to stop contacting me.

Sincerely,

Review: This company has called my phone for the last week or so, even though I have requested twice and used their online system to have my number taken out of their system. The person they are looking for isn't at my number. When they call now they hang up, when I called I get a phone tree.Desired Settlement: Tell them to stop calling me or the person they think is at my phone number.

The outcome is that I never hear from them again, and only read about it when they go bankrupt.

Review: February ** 2016 I received several unwanted, unsolicited telephone calls to my home from tis company. I asked to not be contacted further to no avail.

February ** 2016, after several unanswered telephone calls to my home from this company, I asked the person on the other line who identified herself as Nicole, how she got my telephone number. She said the telephone call was random. I told her I explained twice the day before to TWO separate callers my disinterest in their company and product. I asked that she please note in THEIR system not to call my home any further. Less than one hour later I received yet another harassing telephone call. At no time did ANY of the telephone agents give me the information I discovered on my own, which is the company's opt out do not call list available on their website.

I am reporting this business due to their questionable business practice ad lack of adequate training for their staff.

The resolution I seek is to NEVER be contacted by their company again.Desired Settlement: To NEVER be contacted by their company and their representatives again.

Review: I am a healthcare provider in Cleveland. I have completed many on-line surveys for Universal Survey(aka Opiniosite aka Pat Stuart) and have yet to be paid for the work done. I estimate honoraria totals $2800.00. A cursory search of their website turns up many clients treated in this fashion.Desired Settlement: I would expect that the company pay the $2800.00 to me

Review: I completed the following on-line surveys for OpinionSite:

10/**/15 [redacted] - Reference Code [redacted] $20.00

10/**/15 General Health Topics MV026-SHC $40.00

11/*/15 General Health MV028-SHC $80.00

I was unable to log-in to the honorarium center on the OpinionSite website to redeem my YTD honoraria of $140.00. I contacted Pat Stuart, Panel Administrator for OpinionSite on 11/**/15 who informed me that my account had been shut down, since I had two accounts and a person was only allowed to have one account. He stated that "We are looking forward to your continued participation in our surveys."

I am not aware of having two accounts. If, in fact, that was a problem, OpinionSite should have notified me of this and should not have continued to send me surveys and should not have shut down my account. There are reports on line of other physicians who have not been paid by this company. I feel this company is a scam and should be investigated by the State of New York. This company is rated D- by the Revdex.com. I can certainly see why OpinionSite received such a poor rating by the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a (valid) check in the amount of $140.00 from OpinionSite/Universal Survey Center. I deserve to be paid for the services which I provided to OpinionSite. I took over 1.5 hours of my time to complete these surveys.

Review: For the last week, various Universal Survey Center sales reps have called several times a day asking me to participate in a survey. Each time I tell them I am not willing to participate in the survey and to put my number of their do not call list. They have repeatedly ignored my request.

Review: This company is ridiculous. I get calls at all hours of the night and day. Tonight I have been called in 15 minute intervals since 7:48pm. I have asked to have my number removed and filled out the form. Tonight makes number 2 on the website to remove. Seems the only way to get removed is to make a complaint as your number somehow magically is never found. I do not want to take your surveys please stop calling me. The repeatitive calls is down right harrasment.Desired Settlement: I do not want to take your surveys please stop calling me. The repeatitive calls is down right harrasment.

Review: The company sends out emails to individuals to participate in surveys. I complete various surveys from different companies routinely. I took the survey over 2 months ago. I was supposed to receive an honorarium (check) for participation. I waited about a month and got no check. I contacted the Universal Survey ([redacted]) and the response was that the check would be sent in a few days. I looked at the address they had on file for me and it was totally incorrect. I emailed [redacted] back to correct the address. I waited and still got no check. I contacted U.S. again and the response was that the check was sent out to me. The address that it was supposedly sent to was the WRONG ADDRESS and not the address that I had given them. I notified them again of the correct address. I waited a few weeks and was told it was to be sent on Thurs Oct **. I waited several days, still no check. I contacted them again and was told that they "had the dates wrong" and that it was now being sent out on Oct ** and the amount was $30. Please note that the agreed upon amount to the best of my recollection was $120 . See below:Desired Settlement: I request payment of $120 as an honorarium for my services and $50for all of the hassle that [redacted]/Universal Survey has put me through. I ALSO REQUEST THAT IT BE MAILED VIA OVERNIGHT MAIL FOR TRACKING PURPOSES

I am now in receipt of the check that I expected Thanks

Sincerely,

Review: Universal survey center calls my house every day from ###-###-#### asking me to take part in different surveys. I keep asking them to remove me from their call list. Their response is "we do not have a do not call list, we are not a telemarketing company, we are a survey company." I am sick of this nuisance. My phone number is on the national do not call registry. I have asked to speak with the phone operator's [redacted] every time they call but put me on hold and disconnect me. This company should not be able to bother me under the pretense that they are "not a telemarketing company" and therefore do not have a do not call list.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me.

Review: beginning june ** I began receiving calls on my cell phone by them at which point I opted out on their website. yesterday I received a phone call I said I was not interested and received another call immediately after. I again received a call 10min ago

Sincerely,

Review: We received a call from a woman identifying herself as "[redacted]" from Universal Surveys, telephone number ###-###-####. This call was made on Sunday, ** August 13 @ 4:08 P.M. We very politely informed her that her call had just woken up our newborn child and to please not call back. At this time, [redacted] became very rude towards my husband and I stating that the do not call list does not affect her and she was unwilling to remove our number. She argued with us for several minutes before we finally just hung up. She is not what you would call customer friendly, nor should she be allowed to argue/be disrespectful towards anyone else.Desired Settlement: To remove our telephone number as we do not wish to receive any further calls from this company.

Thank you,

Review: The opinion company phoned me on Wednesday ** January and upon the completed survey they asked for my mailing address. To which I refused. They continued to push until I got very emphatic on not getting that information. Then the following day, Thursday ** January, they proceeded to call me three more times and continued to harass me. I asked them to stop, asked to speak to a floor supervisor, both of which had zero resolution to the problem and they terminated the phone call. This is a very unprofessionally ran business.Desired Settlement: Please stop calling me.

Review: I am receiving phone calls from this company daily. I have gone on their website and have entered my phone number to be removed and I am still receiving phone calls at all hours of the day including weekends. I have also asked the person on the the phone to remove my number and quit calling. I do not want to take a survey. I do not give out information over the phone. Quit calling me!Desired Settlement: To never get phone calls from this company

Review: I have tried to be taken of this call list multiple times. By phone with manager, By website, By automated phone message. I get atleast 1 call a week, up to 3 calls a week.

There is no stopping these people, one of there telemarketers told me "too bad we will keep calling you" basically telling me the FTC, and Revdex.com cant do anything to stop them from harassing me with never ending phone calls.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling me, to take me off the call list.

There are thousands of complaints online dedicated to this company and their inability to take people off the call list. I want them to be fine, or something if they dont stop calling me.
