Review: received a damaged furnace through ups, have attempted at least 3 times to have someone from ups examine damaged product, I received this furnace on 1/17/14, I called 1/18/14 to report damage, I was told at that time someone would call on monday 1/20/14, I didnt hear from anyone till 1/23/14, after I made a second call, each time I have expressed the urgency to have this matter remedied , so I can have the furnace repaired and installed, this was purchased to replace a heater that was old and currently will only run for 15 minutes before shutting down, the third time I called ups I was told I would get a call monday 1/27/14 to schedule a time for an inspection of the unit, its after 5 pm and still no call, I need to know what is going on regarding this so I can proceed in whatever direction necessary to resolve this messDesired Settlement: I have an estimate, to repair furnace housing, for 150.00 my installer will repair sheetmetal cabinet tighten all loose panels,and reinforce the damaged areas of the lower intake plenum, it will not make the unit look like new which this furnace was, but it is the fastest thing to do to get this heater installed as soon as possible, I can tolerate some appearance issues, I just need something that makes heat

Review: We have had issues with this [redacted] who is a road supervisor very un customer friendly attuide hung up on my mother never returns calls holding my packages hostage at faculty saying where harassing because we have complaints over this [redacted] sub driver who has thrown boxes broke items threw a 13 pound box in my hand that was operated on.. All where asking is for the packages to be delivered on time with customer friendly attuide.Desired Settlement: I want my packages delivered as they have been the last 6 yrs

Review: I paid for a product to be over-nighted to me and I needed the product for my baking business. The driver said he "attempted" to deliver but he never came to my home, he may have gone to my mailbox, but my mailbox and my home are 1/2 mile apart. I have never had a problem before, in fact UPS was at my house the day before, if the driver had actually come back, he would have seen he could have left the package, but that wouldn't have been necessary, because myself and my 6 children were home and outside during the "attempted" delivery. He said he left a notice, and there was none in my mailbox. So he either did not do as he said, or attempted to the wrong house. I no longer need the product and have lost $50 from a client out of a lack of being able to deliver the product today at 10am. I got my money back from the company that I was receiving the package from, but when I asked for a re delivery the same day I got a flat out NO, and promised to be called back 3 times and never was. If they'd of addressed it right away, the driver would have still been in my area to redeliver to the CORRECT address. Then I told them I needed it by 9am today for re-delivery and they had the audacity at the distribution center to try and charge me for it. Again, I was supposed to get a call back last night, and never did. The customer service skills of these agents and supervisors is terrible, and they need to be recognized for their lack of management qualities. They deserve to be flipping burgers and giving someone who wants a real job and to make their customers happy.Desired Settlement: There is no resolution except for them to comp me a gift card for future use since I lost a client due to their inadequacy.

Review: 5-27-14 I placed an online order for products, I received an email saying Your Online Order Was Received: Order[redacted]. 2 days later on 5-29-14 I received an email from that company saying Your Online Order Has Shipped! It provided me with the UPS tracking number[redacted] After missing the 1st 2 delivery attempts on 6-3-14 and 6-4-14 and notified by the UPS slip left on my door with details of the next delivery attempt I made arrangements w/ my job to be @ my house before the expected delivery time on 6-5-14 Despite arriving over an hr before the listed time when I came to my door there was a UPS slip on my door notifying me that my package would be returned to its sender I called the UPS number on the slip that put me through an automated system I called back to talk to a representative who told me she would have the local UPS center call me they did the caller told me that she contacted the driver and requested he redeliver my package at a later time I unlocked my gate and stayed close to the door for hours until about 10pm there was no knock and no notice When I called UPS the next day they told me that the driver said he did make an attempt to redeliver They also informed me that there was nothing I or they could do to stop the package already in route to its sender I asked for my options they said I could put in a dispute with the driver I did I have heard nothing back from that dispute and I was not offered a confirmation # or any proof that a dispute was even made They told me to call the shipper I did and the shipper made arrangements to send it back to me. 6-16-14 I checked the tracking # and saw that the driver claimed to deliver my package 6-12-14 and it was now back in route to the shipper there was no notification left I called UPS and a rep sent an email detailing my situation to the local center the center called me back and asked if some1 could call me tomorrow because the person was on vacation but then gave me directions to call back.Desired Settlement: This was a serious inconvenience I needed the delivery before 6-19-14 and now that seems impossible, I believe that a complimentary service would be appropriate-- I desire a free upgrade to my UPS My Choice account so that I may choose my delivery dates and times. I also believe that an apology is warranted, an explanation of the situation would be appreciated.

Review: On yesterday 12/29/14 EST, I requested a pick up for my package at UPS store at 6:34 in the morning. I was told that the request was submitted, and I will be receiving a call with my pick time (between 7:30-8:30 p.m. EST). I called back to make sure the package was not on the truck, and I was told that my package will be at the location upon my arrival. When I got there, the package wasn't there and was delivered to my home when I clearly did not wanted. When the customer services clerk told me the package was left at the side door of my house, I knew the driver delivered my package at the wrong address. I went to that home to see if I could retrieve it, and there was no luck. I call UPS to report the matter, and to let them know that the driver has done this 3 times. Passing my home, to go 5 houses down to deliver to a home without any address numbers on the house, is absurd. And I want him reported, along with my package being retrieved or me being reimbursed. They started an investigation to see where the package could be. This matter should not be taking lightly at all, because incidents as such will kept happening until drastic actions are taking to UPS. Now I'm afraid to let UPS deliver anything to me further on, due to this dilemma. My question is, what will UPS do if a family member send me a package that is very expensive, and they misplace the package? How would UPS reimburse me? I have the tracking information, that stated my request, along with where the package was delivered.Desired Settlement: I would like for UPS to refund me or have a replacement on this matter, because this problem is on the behave of UPS.

Review: My package was left on my porch with visible damage. Not even a knock on the door. I called [redacted] and they said they would send someone out the next day to pick up and check my damaged package. I called the next day and they said someone would be there today and would call me in about an hour or two. No one called or came to pick up my package. I waited home for hours and I never even received a call.Desired Settlement: Full refund and make an appointment (with a time and date) with me to pick up and check my package.

Review: We have lived at our residence for 3 years receiving packages from UPS weekly to monthly. About 4 weeks ago we received our neighbor's package instead of ours. When we spoke to UPS they had no clue what happened to our package and the sender had to refund us our money. We reordered our same monthly package to be delivered again. During this time we have began receiving many gifts for our baby who is due to be born in 3 weeks. Suddenly the UPS driver decided he will no longer drop off packages at our house. Instead he's choosing (from what UPS custoemr service advised us) of his own will not to release the packages and instead leave a sticker notice that they were unable to deliver because no one was available to sign for the packages. We signed the sticker for drop off being approved and put a neon pink note on the door next to it advising to leave package on porch. Instead for 4 weeks now and about 8 different deliveries, maybe more, we keep getting blank stickers with no packages. We have left 3 messages with UPS for the local Plainville supervisor to call us back, and yet still no call back the next day as promised. This has now cost us over $400 in costs having to have items reshipped or purchased locally at a much greater cost. And I still do not have much of our needed stuff for our first born baby due in 3 weeks.

This is costing us growning costs and pains. We have made every effort to work with UPS to correct this isssue but they just keep advising us it's the driver's decision to drop the package or not and a supervisor will call you to fix, but never has. We want this problem corrected, never to happen again in the future. If it is not resolved in the next week, we will itemize our costs and be looking for a refund for the additional costs incurred due to the driver's failure to deliver.

Review: I often order items from amazon. These items are shipped with the disclaimer that if I am not home to leave the package. UPS disregards these notices on every delivery. I have contacted them on multiple occasions and told them I want my packages left but they disregard it anyway. They have no cause not to leave the items because the shipper has authorized it.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like UPS to start leaving my packages when I am not home.

Review: After two weeks trying an agreement with that company without getting anything decided to ask for help, a lack of respect for the consumer, I used this company to send two large mirrors that had sold on ebay, worth $412.00, after deliver I received several pictures of the buyer two mirros with all wood broken, I contacted the UPS and after two weeks they call me and offering $100, a disrespect to the consumer this value does not pay for one mirror, I can not accept that ,they will have to pay value of my prejudice they are responsible for the damage. .Desired Settlement: no
