U.S. Air Solutions Reviews (70)

Review: We used US Air Solutions thru a [redacted] advertised as "Indoor Air of America". After many attempts to make an appt thru Appt number ###-###-#### we were finally given a time and date with "US Air Solutions" in Scottsdale, AZ. 3 men came at the appointed time but were less than clean or thorough. One made high pressure pitches for Mold Fumigation ($180) and a 4 year Warranty/Inspections($100). Alarmed at the thought of mold (I've since heard that they tell most clients they have mold) we agreed to the service. I now understand that what they probably did was a fogging "Sanitizing" which other companies include in the cleaning cost. Our [redacted] was for $279 service and yet we got a bill for $280 on top of that! We first called owner the same day to report that the workers had left all the dryer vent lint scattered on the ground outside our Condo unit and failed to clean it up. They did come back 4 days later to clean it up. I later called to say we are not interested in them coming back the next four years and would like the $100 refunded. Owner said he'd "look into it". After no return call, repeat attempts to speak with owner, I finally reach owner about a week later and tell him we want the $100 refunded to Credit Card. He says "he will take care of it." I asked how long it would take and he said 'give it 3 days'. 10 days later it is still not refunded. In the mean time I've made other inquiries which have lead me to believe we have been scammed and am now requesting full refund of the $280 we paid. We believe the $279 value of the [redacted] covers the cost of cleaning and sanitizing fog spray. In viewing the web site you can find that they claim "100% satisfaction with our services. No questions asked!!" Warning to others, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Desired Settlement: A full refund of $280 AND for Revdex.com to change their rating. A- is obsured for someone with this many complaints!

Response:

I have contacted the client , and agreed to refund the 4 year service plane they have purchased ,

we have refunded her money and I was not aware she did not receive it ,

we have been doing buisness in arizona since 2008 and always maintain a good reputation with the Revdex.com and good standing with yelp

our techs recommended additional services when we think they are needed its the clients choise to purchas them or not

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

This company continues to make false claims and we will not be satified until our full $280 is returned. There is no indication that they attempted to return the $100 other than his say so. We do not believe 13 complaints with the Revdex.com constitutes a "good standing" and anyone can view the negative Yelp reviews. You can see confirmation of high pressure sales pitches and unhappy customers. They claim on their web site to deliver 100% satisfaction. Our [redacted] of $279 value we believe covered the services preformed that day. We firmly believe we did not receive "additional services" and request the refund of the additional charge of $280

Response:

as a large company that serves over 3500 clients a year we do our best to keep everyone happy and do not always succeed

if the client is not happy with the job done and think that my tech did not service her system as promised or did not clean her air ducts

her dryer vent and sanitized her system I would be glad to discuss a full refund

the client was offered additional service that was recomended by my tech , she chose to purchase them plus she purchased a service plan

I agreed to refund the service plan fee of a 100 dollars and we did

I will contact the client to see why she did not receive it yet.

Regards,

Once again, "Fine words, NO ACTION." The business has NOT refunded the money and the business has NOT attempted to contact us. As a matter of fact I don't believe he ever has. I have always initiated the calls. I am not contesting the 'job done" as described and please note, that was all covered by the [redacted]. No additional costs! He says we were offered additional services but fails to describe what that was. In fact the technicion offered to "Fumigate" but in contacting other area Cleaning Services I now realize they use the following words interchangeably. "Sanitize", "Deodorize" "Fogging" "Antimicrobial". We do not contest that the Tech "Sanitized" (Included in Service) we do contest that he did any additional service of "Fumigating". There was definitely a high pressure up sale for "Fumigating" and Warranty. He did no additional service and we don't want your warranty. In 2 weeks there has been no refund or phone contact. This is not good customer service. We request the additional charge of $280 refunded. The only acceptable resolution. This won't be settled until the money is back in our account

US AIR SOLUTIONS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH DUST FOR FOUR YEARS IN AZ. EVERYONE SAID VENT CLEANING WILL NOT HELP. I HAD US AIR SOLUTIONS CLEAN MY VENTS AND I HAVE NO MORE DUST. UNBELIEVABLE. THEY ARE EXPERTS, VERY COURTEOUS AND ACCOMMODATING. JUST THRILLED WITH THEIR SERVICE. AND I LOVE NAME "US".

Review: I purchased a WHole home unit including a 5 ton 18 seer A/C unit, heater, humidifier and air scrubber and from the first day of installation I have had nothing but problems. First they forgot the air scrubber that I noticed and had to go back to get it, then they installed the incorrect thermostat and had to come and fix that, then I was told that the humidifier would work during the summer when it's hot and dry here in arizona, which is the main reason I purchased it , to find out it doesn't. Then the humidifier didn't work and had to have someone come and fix it as it was installed incorrectly. Now a year later and my humidifier won't work again and I try to call them to find out they are out of business and the company that bought them ACE A/C Service, I think, won't work on my system because they say it was improperly installed and needs 1000's in repairs after I spent 10,000 on the system to begin with.Desired Settlement: I want any and all repairs that are needed to be completed in a timely manner with no extra out of pocket expenses.

I want to be compensated for poor workmanship and all the time I have wasted having to take off work, and lack of customer service this company gives.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me as long as there will be no additional monies needed from me for the correction of any installation issues. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I had purchased a $49.00 duct cleaning service through [redacted] Local for Phoenix and I was horribly disappointed. I just bought the house and wanted the entire house including the air ducts cleaned before I moved in. I had scheduled the duct cleaning to show at 11:00 am on a Saturday and nobody from US Air Solutions showed up. After waiting 30 minutes for the tech to show up or give me I call, I had to call them and find out what happened.
The girl on the phone said the technician was held up at the appointment before mine and that he will be an hour and a half late.
Ok, even though there was no furniture in the house to sit on, I agreed to wait since my voucher was already paid for in advance and a maid service was already there to clean the wall and appliances. [redacted] cleaners were scheduled to show up in the afternoon as the last appoinment since I would have to leave due to the damp carpets.
No air duct tech for over 2 hours... I was told an hour an a half late. When the tech showed up and got started the [redacted] cleaning team showed up right on time for their appoinment. They told me they can't do the carpets with the hoses and all from US Air Solutions in their way, but they were kind enough to call their office to reschedule and come back a couple of hours later.
My biggest peeve was after the [redacted] team left, the US Air Solutions tech says to me, "you should have told me you had other scheduled appointments!" I would have come over before I took my lunch!" He rushed through his work and it was a shoddy job.
Did not change the filter as specified on the voucher or clean they dryer duct. When I asked about getting the filter changed, he said, "your filter is fine".
Now their sales office won't stop calling me since I "did business with them" in the past.
I do not recommend this company!! Not even for a $49.00 deal. The $49.00 is not a deal for the hassle and disappointment you have to put up with.

in 2014 I had a [redacted] through US Air solutions. They sent out a contractor who did a terrible job, argued with what we were supposed to receive for the air duct cleaning service, and generally just left an overall terrible impression. They barely performed any services and quite frankly I did not feel comfortable with those people in my home. I called the company and through many conversations got absolutely nowhere and thankfully was able to receive a refund from [redacted]. I have asked this company several times to stop calling my phone number. They call once a week at the very minimum and today for example they have called 3 times. When I answer the phone no one is there and when I called back its always an answering machine. You can see customer reviews and complaints that all say the same thing. It seems to be a general consensus that this is a scam company. I am filing a complaint if possible but definitely writing a review for customers to stay away from this company.

Review: I purchased a duct cleaning package through [redacted] Local Deals from [redacted], which is owned by US Air Solutions. Unfortunately, the worker stepped on my gas line in the attic while doing his job which caused a gas leak on March 24th. I contacted my contractor who sent a person out who fixed it that same day as it was very dangerous. The bill was for $90.00. I called first thing in the morning on March 25th and was directed to contact [redacted] at US Air Solutions. I told him the story and he agreed to pay the bill for my contractor having to repair my gas line and requested that the bill be sent to him. My contractor sent the bill and confirmed the office received it. To date, April 30th, the bill has not been paid nor can I get a hold of [redacted]. I called [redacted] several times and they told me he is out of the office a lot, then I was told to call him between 9 and 12 the following Monday (which I did and it went straight to a fax machine); and then yesterday a woman was extremely nasty with me and said there is no such person as [redacted]. After conf[redacted]ting her about her attitude, she finally said she would text [redacted] and call him as I told her I was going to file a complaint with you, with [redacted] Local Deals and file a small claims case if he did not contact me by the close of day on 4/29/14. She refused to give me the phone number to contact his office directly. Fortunately I saved my emails and found I should have called US Air Solutions, which she could have easily told me over the phone several times as they did the very first day I called to complain. [redacted] did not contact me so I am filing this complaint.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] to honor his word and pay the contractor's bill as it was [redacted]'s employee that caused the damage. Here is a copy of their invoice sent and received by US Air Solutions. [redacted] INVOICE

Review: I have been having persistent air conditioning problems, and I paid US Air Solutions to perform service that would correct the problem. I paid $1,250.00 with my [redacted] card on July 15, 2014. The next day, I called the company that installed the air conditioner, and found out the repairs needed would be covered under warranty. I immediately notified [redacted], the consultant for US Air Solutions, by email and by leaving a detailed message on his message service. He never called back. I called again on July 21, and he answered and confirmed that the refund will be made.

It has been 14 days since the refund was requested. I again left an email and a detailed message for [redacted] on July 29, and July 30, and he has again not called back.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a credit on the [redacted] card that I used for payment.

In lieu of their ability to do this, mailing a check immediately would be okay.

Business

Response:

[redacted],

A pleasure, as always. Please allow me to address the various issues you have presented.

First, I would like to remind you that, on May 9th, 2014 I personally advised you that the installing company should be responsible for your repairs and that they should be covered under warranty. At that time you stated to me that the company was no longer in business and that you wouldn't be interested in dealing with them if they were.

Second, I was present and sitting across the table from [redacted] during your conversation on July 21st, 2014. [redacted] advised you that we would, of course, process your refund and that you would have to contact our office and speak to accounts payable in order to begin that process. As a field technician, [redacted] does not have the ability to process such a transaction. Essentially, one short phone call to our office instead of to [redacted]'s cell phone would have resolved this issue quickly and without the need for a third party.

Third, I sincerely hope that your air conditioning system has been repaired to your satisfaction and at no cost to you.

Your refund will be processed today and we will be mailing a check for the amount. Please allow 3-5 business days for it to arrive. Call us anytime if you have questions at ###-###-####.

Best regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I received a partial refund of $1,210.45, which is unsatisfactory. As you can see by the attached bill from US Air the amount of the bill was $1,250.00, and "There is no agreement, oral or otherwise, not set forth herein". There is no reason for not refunding the entire amount. The amount of $39.55 is owed to me.

Regards,

Business

Response:

The invoice was for exactly $1250, as you can see in the attached file. I do not know where this additional $39.55 could be coming from.

After waiting 6 weeks for an appointment with a groupon, I got a call to reschedule and then a no show for the 8-11 time slot, then a no show for the 1-3 time slot, then told I would have to wait a week. I just got my refund from Groupon who was gracious enough to refund even after the coupon had expired.

My husband and I had a terrible experience. We purchased a coupon on living social for $45. Here is what it says the coupon covers: $45 ($249 value) for whole-house air duct cleaning (Includes cleaning of unlimited supply ducts, one return vent & one return dryer vent.) And the coupon is under the name [redacted] My husband scheduled the appointment and they made us schedule 2 months out, as they didn't have any openings earlier. Then they called 5 times within 3 days and on the day of the appointment trying to cancel and reschedule the appointment. There were several excuses, "the tech is over booked", "the tech had a family emergency", "they no longer were available at that time", "they again had to change the time". Finally the tech showed up and before even looking at the system or starting to work said the coupon doesn't cover everything we need done, it will cost more money to do everything, and then tried to only clean the return vent instead of what we paid for which is listed above. Then he called the manager. The manager was extremely rude and argumentative. We scheduled and rescheduled appointments to accommodate them and they left without doing any work. The coupon is very clear on what it covers, I will never recommend this company to anyone!

I was cold called but agreed to allow them to come out and check my ac unit. They called to cancel and reschedule a couple times and I complied. They gave me a 3 hour window as to when the tech would arrive and called 2 hours and 10 min into that window to say that they didn't have a tech in the area. The receptionist ([redacted] I believe) was then rude and acted as though I had no reason to question their practices.
