I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  While the resolution is a nice gesture, the calls have not ceased.  There were 4 calls the day after the company's response and already one today.  I will continue to file complaints with the FTC on www.donotcall.gov for every call that I receive.  The caller today stated that I would continue receiving telephone calls from them as I am on multiple lists.

misrepresent our services.We will certainly remove his account from our database including his credit card information.  We do not store credit card information of any of our customers so he can rest assured that it will not be used again and certainly not shared with any 3rd party.  We will also remove the sales rep who spoke to Mr. [redacted] immediately from our sales team.We sincerely apologize for this and appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention so we can correct it.

I am rejecting this response because:The terms described were NOT the terms I agreed to. They clearly stated my card would NOT be charged but it in fact, WAS. A charge of $39.95 was deducted from my checking account immediately. When I signed up for the 10 day trial it clearly stated there would be $ 0.00 charged to my card. They stated I was issued a full refund and would receive it within 24-48 hrs. Now going on DAY 3 and STILL NO REFUND! Anyone reading this, DO NOT do business with this sham of a company. They are SCAMMERS. And now I have to laugh, as they stated, "She will be deleted from our membership database and will not be eligible to enroll in our program in the future".  LOL!!! Are you kidding me??? Please clarify as to WHY I or ANYONE would even consider doing business with you???? What a joke!!

As mentioned in our previous response, we did issue a refund of the $3.85 charge.  See the attached refund receipt.  That is the only charge we made on that account.  Also, on 9/19/16 her phone number was placed on our Do Not Call list.  We have not called her since then.  If she is still receiving calls it is not from our company.

Just to clarify the confusion on this: the page Ms. M[redacted] visited can be found at https://http://www.securepaysystems.com/offers/usfr_ver15.html  you can read all the terms and conditions at that link.She agreed to the terms when she registered.  The way the trial works is that there is not a charge upon sign up.  There is simply a credit card authorization that occurs. Member are only eligible for a trial if the have a valid credit card.Here is the relevant section of our terms and conditions: "After a successful credit card "Authorization Only" the member will have 10 days' worth of access to the member site."What Ms. M[redacted] saw on her credit card statement was simply the authorization hold for $39.95.  If she would have remained a member after the 10-day trial period the $39.95 would have been deducted.  Since she contacted us and canceled before the 10 daysexpired we released the authorization hold on the $39.95 removed her from our membership records.We are sorry for the confusion.

Customers are given a 10-day period to try out our service for just $3.87 and then if they feel it will work for them they remain a monthly subscriber.  Mr. [redacted] signed up for our service on 6/4/15 and paid $3.87.  We have not charged him anything further than this amount as he is still in the 10-day window before the monthly fee begins.  Mr. [redacted] emailed our customer support team to request that his account be cancelled on 6/4/15 (the same day he registered).  We have issued a full refund of his $3.87 and he can rest assured that he will not be contacted by our company again.
