I wasn't able to speak to anyone from the company on a weekly basis and I can prove itThe
last time I was able to speak to anyone was on 09/and I spoke to Dan (owner)Dan told me that he will call me back on Friday 09/to confirm the scheduleAs of today 09/19, I have yet to hear back from anyone from US Restoration and Remodeling. Also, between 09/and today, I have left voice mails and still no one had call me back

Mr and Mrs *** realize that the hold up on their siding repairs has nothing to do with our company. This complaint about us needs to be reclassified as a complaint with their insurance companyWe have contacted their insurance company multiple times and have proven that all the
siding must be replaced on the houseThe siding that is similar is a completely different woodgrain and color shade, not to mention the worst problem is the siding has a different profile. Therefore the repair cannot be completed or warrantied as the siding will not lock into placePlease adjust this complaint to be on the insurance company and remove it from our record. The homeowner understands the problem and is working with us to get these repairs paid properly with their insurance company

I've provided documentation the roof was inspected and up to code twice in previous email exchanges

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, our roof was replaced on September not the week of September I have made numerous calls to the business with either no return calls or no updated information availableIf I did have the opportunity to talk to someone, the only information I received was that they were talking to the project manger and I would be updated the next dayThe "next day" never arrived! Also, the salesman never came out for a sample of our siding in an attempt to match itThe company has received a check for ALL the repairs that were to be completed from our insurance company along with a itemized invoice My calculation still stands at over $pocketed by the company

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me

US Restoration & Remodeling , Incstated that: “on page of the insurance loss statement it clearly is stated and circled that they only paid for the rear and left side”That is not the full storyAt the same page the insurance company indicated that they have paid for sqftof aluminum siding, totally $+ 4,= 5,However, the total square of the rear and left side was only sq.ftTherefore, US Restoration & Remodeling greatly overpriced the insurance company and, in addition, requested my additional payment for the two walls (front and right) of the amount of $1,At the insurance rate per sqft., sq.ftof aluminum siding would cost $3,Also, US Restoration & Remodeling used not aluminum but vinyl siding, which is at least by 20% cheaperTotally, US Restoration & Remodeling should be entitled to $3,x = 2,604.71, but not $5,+ 1,= 6,they already receivedThe same situation is with gutters and downspoutsPrice for removing/replacement gutter/downspout in accordance with the insurance estimate is: (57.02+621.28)/176=$per l.fThe actual length of gutters is l.fLength of downspouts for the house is l.f., totally 140+52=192’Summarizing, the total price for removing and replacement of all gutters and downspouts would be: x = $However, US Restoration & Remodeling charged the insurance company for $(see pof the insurance loss statement), overpricing it once againMoreover, the downspouts were not replacedUS Restoration & Remodeling states that “We have never been informed of any service work by Mr *** till this letterOn 11-24-he signed off on all the work being completed as well”That statement doesn’t seem to be trueI have written to them in this matter repeatedly (on 6/4/(the answer received on 10/28/13);10/07/13; 08/25/14; 09/17/14)Also, I could not sign off on completion of the work on 11-24-12, since I have received the insurance loss statement only on 4/10/US Restoration & Remodeling states also that “He owes money on both bills plus interest$3,will bring his account current”On the same rate of interest, they owe me for those already paid by me but not concluded works $3,Keeping in mind that US Restoration & Remodeling overpriced the insurance company and me by $(5,- 2,604.71) + 1,+ (- 739.20) = 4,431.16, I believe that they are not entitled for any payments from me, rather the other way aroundHowever, my stance is that if they complete all unfinished work I have paid for already and call off collections, I will agree to consider the case resolved. Thank you once again for your attention in this matter.*** ***

It sounds like Mr*** is disputing that the insurance carrier miss-measured his house and apparently overpaid the claim. The carrier, when measuring, the house does not remove the windows and doors on the walls to help account for the waste with the product. If the insurance carrier had mismeasured they would have reduced the claim. That would mean that Mr *** would have to give the money back to the carrier. Which he has not, he has kept the money for his own personal gain and not paid his contractor. We have completed the work. Based on what the insurance was paying, Mr*** entered into an additional agreement with us to put siding on the front of his house and on the right side as well as custom order and install shutters to all the front windows and pay out of pocket. This was done for an additional $+ any rotten wood on the fascia at $because we told him there was a run on the back by the chimney that was rotten. He signed the agreement and paid the extra $but never paid for the rotten wood and also never fully paid for his insurance repairsHe needs to call his insurance company because they have told us that they did not pay for the right side and the front side. He does not get to keep that money. In fact, by not paying his contractor and using the insurance proceeds for personal gain he is also committing insurance fraud. We will not remove this from collections. He needs to pay for the job. He also has no warranty from us because he has never paid for his work either

On 8-20-we refunded Mr and Mrs *** $on some items on their claim sheet from their insurance that we were not doing. We were not sure of why there was a complaint so we met face to face with the homeowners. It seems as they were thinking that the depreciation to be paid on
the work that we did was going to go to them. That is not the case. The final billing was sent to the insurance carrier quite some time ago so that we could be paid the balance of the work that we had done. To this date the insurance company has not settled and we are not paid in full. We have since reached out the insurance carrier to close the file and get us paid in full. Hopefully it will be closed very shortly. We did their roof almost a year ago. At this point we feel their was really no complaint on workmanship, just that the homeowner wanted their insurance claim file closed. So do we. As stated previously this should be done very shortly. Attached is the copy of the refunded credit memo from 8-20-

We are reviewing the homeowners disputes. The major problem is we are owed a considerable amount of money from the homeowner that the insurance company was trying not to pay (over $10,000)The homeowner was initially refusing to allow us to talk to the insurance company to try to settle the
differences. He did have a minor siding service that he wanted to wait till spring to fix. We attempted to resolve this service at his property and our installer was not treated very well by the homeowner when this was being done.I also just contacted the adjusters at *** today 6-10-and Mr *** has not even sent the adjusters our revised billing to be resolved that he has had for several months. I am forwarding the billing to the insurance company directly. I would love to settle this but it cannot be completely settled until the insurance company settles the money they owe usThat does take a little bit of effort from the homeowner. We hope that this can be settled with a way phone call between the insurance company the homeowner and us. If we had been given the ability to talk to the insurance company this would have been settled a year ago

Based on the homeowners comments the problem lies with here insurance company not reimbursing her yet on the total cost We will assist in helping them get the reimbursement from the carrier but this message needs to be reclassified as a complaint with her insurance company If our bill would have been paid timely the homeowner would not be in this position and their insurance company had ample time to address this If we had had a little more time the bill would have been paid by the carrier, but the homeowner did not want to risk their house sale that was set to close, which is completely understandableAlso realize this was a catastrophe situation and the project repairs get done in combination with other customers jobs to make sure repairs can be accomplished for what the insurance company is trying to payIt did take weeks from the insurance approval to drop the roofing material and weeks from that point till we started This is a complete acceptable time frame as installations are done at our discretion per our agreement and we cannot control the weather and in this case different subcontractors were needed to do the repairs and coordinatedThus this is why the projects from the start of work took a little over a month and a half

I had a conversation with him (President of US Restoration & Remodeling), but I wanted to be confident, so I wanted to check with the his workerBut he had no contact with me at allHe said during the phone conversation (September 12) the interior worker who paint ceiling would be in touch with me but I still could not get in touchThen the rain came down (September 26) and I confirmed that the roof was leaking (I checked the ceiling with my eyes and touched my hand) and I sent a picture to him And asked for future plans, but I did not hear anything from himI called several times and asked for a return call, but I did not hear anything yetToday (Oct12) I called the Customer Center again in the morningI heard same message from Customer Center "interior worker will call me any day (Customer center said any day means that today or tomorrow)" that I have already been waiting for a month. Now I do not know if this company (US Restoration & Remodeling) is willing to implement the warrantiesBecause there are many promises the company can not keepEven if this small problem can not be solved for three months, it is doubtful whether the company has a Revdex.com

The homeowner filed this complaint with the Revdex.com days after we just had a reinspection with her insurance company to try to get them to pay properly for the siding job. *** is one of the worst companies at paying what they should. This complaint should have never been filed against
us! We are trying to help the homeowner by getting the proper work approved. The siding she has on the house is discontinued and there is no similar match. Ms *** needs to take this complaint to the State Attorney General on *** as well as the State Board of Insurance. It is unfair to lodge a Revdex.com complaint on a company just days after an adjusters meeting. We are not done trying to argue the point to the carrier, but the homeowner needs to complain to *** on her behalf and voice her displeasure with them

This homeowner signed a contract with us and also assigned the claim rights to us to negotiate the settlement with her insuranceThe insurance company issued a check to them and they sent the check to the mortgage company We sent the mortgage company a copy of our contract and assignment of
claim and they did not put our name on the check as they should have The homeowner told the mortgage company not to put our name on the check Then the homeowner told us they wanted to cancel after they got the check from the mortgage company and we helped them to get a $13,claim paid We will be persuing the mortgage company on this matter

On 6-20-the ***'s signed an agreement to work with us(U.SRestoration) and also assigned all rights and proceeds of the claim to our company The roof was leaking so we tarped the roof The tarp bill is $In early July we were provided a copy of the insurance scope where
the insurance only wanted to pay for a little less than half the roof We pulled a shingle sample to see if there would be an acceptable matching shingle to do the repairThis was sent to a lab for proper diagnosisWe paid Itel $for the report that we received on 7-13- Upon realizing the roof shingles are discontinued and there is no suitable replacement we informed the homeowner and told them we would send an estimate to the insurance carrier to request full replacement We pulled an eagleview satelite measuring of the roof and compiled our estimate to the insurance carrier on 8-11-for total replacement of the roof and a notarized partial proof of loss for $ I spoke with an adjuster on 8-16-and he said he would refer it to his independent adjuster The independent adjuster said he did not think the carrier would approve the total roof We told them it had to be done or the house would be completely devalued with half the roof being a different color than the restThe homeowner's agent *** *** was also contacted on 8-16-and we requested a copy of the full insurance policy for reviewAs the adjuster was claiming to not have to pay to match the old roof On 8-17-I discussed the claim with the independent adjuster *** *** and he agreed with most of the items in the estimate but said he would see if the inside adjuster would pay for the full roofOn 8-18-We got an email from the inside adjuster that the ***s were canceling their insurance claim and sending the money backWe thought that was totally bizarre especially when they were about to get a full roof. I called Mrs *** on 8-18-to see what was going on and she stated she did not want anything to do with us We were flooredWe let the homeowner know that they could simple not just fire us from the job and did not have the right to cancel at this point She threatened her attorney on us, and we asked her for the attorneys phone number to help iron this out She refused and said she wanted to cancelWe told her we have never received a cancellation and she no longer had a right to do so.After getting of the phone we filed by certified mail to have the home appraised This way the adjuster and us neither have a say in the cost of the job and 2 independent appraisers can see the facts that the roof is discontinued We have done this numerous times in the past in the same situation in Missouri Every single time the roof gets paid for in full The next morning we received this Revdex.com complaint Since the claim rights have been assigned to us we have only continued to do our job and make sure the policy holder is completely indemnified on their loss and that is what our continued efforts are focused on

The bill was sent to the homeowner s insurance company to pay for the plywood They are not going to pay it so the homeowner has to This is in our contractWe even gave for free

We did submit a paid in full receipt to the insurance company It is in their hands to pay now They must reimburse the homeownerI will be out of the country on vacation next week I am asking scott in our office to try to call the carrier

I was home when they arrived and stayed both days until the job was finishedNo one even notified me of any plywood being replacedI also never saw any plywood on the job site.AGAIN: If they want to come back out and remove the shingles and show me they plywood that was replaced I'd gladly payOtherwise I consider this a scamTheir sales lady told me also all I'd have to pay was my deductible of $

Mr*** has continually disputed his billHe has not paid the balance for over a year and a halfhe claims that the insurance company paid for all walls of his home to be residedThey did notAs you can see on page of the insurance loss statement it clearly is stated and circled
that they only paid for the rear and left sideOn 8-6-we met with Mr*** and he agreed to pay an additional $to side the right side and small amount of siding on the front of the home and new shuttersWe also informed him of rotten wood behind his rear gutters that would not be covered by the insurance companyWe told him in writing it would cost $a foot to replace any rotten woodI have attached a copy of this agreementWe have never been informed of any service work by Mr *** till this letterOn 11-24-he signed off on all the work being completed as wellOur stance is that until he pays his bill we cannot service anything per our agreementHe has been turned over to collections so he needs to address the bill to get it off his credit
Also see the attached billing is based on his insurance loss statementHe owes money on both bills plus interest$will bring his account current

We are working on a supplement for the homeowner. The house needs all new siding because there is no match for the profile. Nebraska is a matching state and the carrier owes for a matching house. We are awaiting the insurance companies approval on thisThat is the hold up
