Review: On 7/02/14 I was charged for a my newspaper subscription total of $36.38. My newspaper only runs between $22.00-25.00 give or take on taxes. I called the customer service on 07/02/14 to tell em Abt the problem they confirmed that $11.95 will & would be issued back to my debt card. As if this date 07/08/14 no money has been returned. I called back today and they advised me that the money was a credit on my account I did not agree to that and neither did the last reps.Desired Settlement: 1 month of newspapers at a $22.00-$25.00 value

Review: Had a free subscription for usa today from airline for miles. USA today billed me for $1.49 which I had to pay. I never got to read one issue of the e newspaper.

Review: My subscription was a gift from my husband, but in my name. My husband lost his job, so at the December 1st renewal date, I did nothing. No credit card was given or check was sent. That should have been the end of my subscription as of the December 1st renewal date. I have just received a bill for $15.05 for one month of newspapers that I did not ask to be delivered. It was USA Today's job to notify the paper carrier of the termination of service. This feels like a scam to me. How many $15.05 does USA Today receive because they do not terminate the subscription in a timely manner and then ask for payment??Desired Settlement: USA Today stops sending a bill to me for $15.05.

Review: Have a subscription to have newspaper delivered to my Mother at the following address:[redacted]USA Today Account number: [redacted]No paper has been delivered since February 24th. Account is paid thru 4/30/14. Have missed two weeks of papers.THEY WILL NOT FIX OR CALL BACKDesired Settlement: Call back, start delivery again, explain problem, and give customer service!

Review: 1. I purchased a gift subscription for my mother at Christmas. The subscription was a special for 10 weeks. However they did not send a renewal notice rather they considered this product a regular subscription and require me to cancel the subscription which I have done today by phone. They say there is a balance due of $6 and they are requiring payment. I have asked that they remove this payment requirement as the subscription was a gift subscription for a set period of time and not a regular subscription. They have sent the request to their accounting department to review.

2. I purchased a second subscription for my father at Christmas. They sent this request to their local agent, the [redacted] for delivery. Because I used a temporary credit card account through [redacted], the [redacted] could not collect on the credit card. Instead of contacting me for payment they started delivery immediately prior to my requested start date and billed my father. He had to call and cancel the subscription. After I learned of this I contacted USA Today who said I had to contact the [redacted]. I spoke to the [redacted] who knew nothing of the special gift subscription rate and would not honor what I purchased online. I decided not to attempt any further to obtain this subscription.Desired Settlement: 1. Request elimination of required payment for the amount in between what the gift subscription ended and the day of cancellation. Request email confirmation to myself at [redacted] that this has been accomplished. Request that they discontinue the practice of deceitfully advertising a gift subscription for a period of a time with a regular continuing subscription from a customer.

2. Improve your business methods for charging customers and honor your gift subscription pricing.

Review: My son purchased USA Today to start delivery to me on 12/16/2013. Paid by auto deduction from his card. Delivery was never done as this area does not have a delivery service. I called after they said del would start on tues prior to Xmas,never done.Said they would contact regional mgr. Waited another week, contacted them again.No delivery. Asked to please just cancel and refund my sons payment, they gave me the amount of refund, told me I would get a confirmation via email.Never done.All I get is emails telling me delivery is coming. I do not want any more stories, I just want my sons refund and this subscription be stopped before my son is charged anymore money for a paper we never got or will ever get!Desired Settlement: My son's account credited with amounts charged for paper and all future charges dropped. No longer do I wish to have any dealings with USA Today.

Review: This is my 2nd bob complaint yet again am not getting my paper I have reported & reported it till am blue in the face customer service said that will credit me that never happened. Lone lady stated that she reported my problem to the corp office and a call back will happen with 24 hrs that never happen I've had papers reordered for the days missed and as of this day NO PAST PAPERS RECIVED! So how can I still get charged for a subscription and not receive that subscription? And customer service don't care about. WOW.Desired Settlement: A call from the executive offices of USA TODAY with a explanation of why my papers never came, my backed ordered papers to!
