The US Gold Bureau in Austin, TX, and specifically Arnold Cortez, provides clients with excellent information, education, and guidance about investing in precious metals. Mr. Cortez evaluated my personal financial situation (with regard to what I could comfortably invest without putting myself into tight circumstances). He also asked me about what my financial goals were and what I was interested in doing with my funds. Then he made several excellent customized suggestions as to the type and amount of investments that would be best for me and my personal financial situation. Since Sept. 2017, I have recommended the USGB to my family members and friends and I will continue to do so--and especially for people who do not know anything about investing in gold and silver, etc., but who would like to become first-time investors. I had researched several other organizations before I contacted the USGB, and I am fully satisfied with my decision to become a USGB client and their excellent products and services.

I placed an order for silver American Eagle 1 oz. rounds, and paid for it, only to have it cancelled several days later, and my payment refunded.. They claimed it was no longer available at that price. But they were still selling it at a higher price, and they did this to hundreds of customers. Very shady business practice, and I will never make another purchase from them. I had previously, and it took three weeks for delivery. Stay away !!
We did previously communicate to numerous clients about a system error that caused a supply and pricing issue with one specific product. Due to the issue we had to cancel the orders after communicating with the customers and the platform partner. We apologized for the inconvenience related to the supply issue and ensured that all affected consumers received a FULL REFUND. Additionally, we worked to integrate safeguards to prevent this from happening again.
US Gold Bureau advertised rolls of silver eagles on ebay for $326.03. I placed two orders under the ebay user id fite64 and they cancelled my order claiming a pricing mistake on their own web site. USGB has a history of scamming consumers dating back to 2010. They scammed me into buying pre 1933 RARE gold coins in 2010 that were not rare at all and were overpriced. When I asked to return the coins I was told there would be a 10% restocking fee even though this was never stated upfront. Now it appears they are doing the same thing on ebay.
We regret that you experienced a buying experience that wasn't as you expected it to be, this is not our intention. In the case of your order there was a pricing error that was related to a 3rd party supply issue, which unfortunately caused us to have to cancel you order. Our terms and conditions do permit us to cancel an order, or not accept it for settlement, if extenuating circumstances occur related to pricing or supply. While we do everything possible to avoid this situation, given the volume of orders we process for precious metal consumers around the globe, it is unfortunately unavoidable under certain circumstances.
We have met with our team members to investigate our processes and procedures to see if we can find a way to avoid this occurring in the future.

I am rejecting this response because:
If the order was placed on your own web site it would be cancelable per your conditions. However the order was placed on ebay and their rules do not allow for cancellations. Your company has a reputation for screwing buyers and you received over 1100 defects on ebay for this scam cancellation. This means you cancelled over 1100 orders in 5 hours. Since you don't want to honor my order I will leave you negative feedback on ebay.

I am rejecting this response because:
Business has not come to a compromise such as receiving a free silver eagle for my inconvenience. Unfortunately for USGB I will no longer do business with your company and have warned others not to do business with you. You tried to scam me in 2010 by selling me overpriced common date "RARE" not really rare pre 1933 9 gold coins for $15K worth $8000. Then went I tried to return the coins you came up with an undisclosed 10% restocking fee. Matt Ferris is a crook who owns this company.

I have recently concluded several transactions through your representative Joseph K and feel I must comment on his attitude and actions.
Although the transactions were less than routine Mr K handled them in a very professional and efficient manner explaining in detail what steps were necessary to transfer my holdings to my son who was emigrating to Poland. Every part of the transactions were accomplished in a timely manner to our complete satisfaction and I commend him for his sincere interest.
The real beneficiary of all of this activity is my grandson who suffers from Autisim and Joseph has helped soften his future.
