Had an accident recently and filed a claim against the other driver, who's insured by UticaIt's apparently their insured's fault as he was on the wrong lane and then hit my car from the sideHowever the Utica adjuster totally ignored the facts and my pictures that clearly shows the scene of the accident, and denied my claim without even sending a denial letter beforehandThe auto repair shop I sent my car to was also told initially by Utica that they'd pay for the repair, only to find out later it was deniedNow I'm left with $3.3k bill to pay as the car has been fixedThe worst part of the whole experience is the communication: the adjuster never answered the phone, and never provided any updates on the investigation and decisionSeems like they just want to avoid paying the claim without any reasonable and good faith consideration

I was in an accident with a Utica insured driver 4/15/2018, Property Paving Inc, Claim #*** To date, I have not been reimbursed for my vehicle repairs, although I have received a letter stating monies have been mailed On 6/after informing the injury claim specialist I was not going to close my injury claim until my property claim was settled, I encountered an argumentative employee Adam P***, who refuesed to transfer me to a supervisor and hung up on me
I filed a complaint with the Fexas Department of Insurance 6/13/2018, but there has been no response from Utica Insurance on settling my claim The lack of response from Utica and clearly unprofessional behavior of Adam P*** in refusing to forward my concerns to Utica Management is unacceptable Utica should be investigated for its practices that cant be considered lawful in any state and should be forced to have management return my call and resolve this matter as I will not deal with the rude and insulting be

I filed a home owner’s claim (claim report #*** I paid the claim out of my own pocket The insurance company (UTICA) increased my premium by 45% I switched my home owner’s insurance company I was informed that my premium would be affected because Utica reported on a CLUE report, that I filed a claim and that they payed $to me to settle the claim This information on the CLUE report will affect my premiums for years I repeatedly spoke with Beatrice C*** *** (the person who handled my claim) and Michael L*** *** 1-*** (the supervisor) to get this information on the CLUE report straightened out I have been getting the run around for months

On 12/20/my car was involved in and accidentI made all the required phone calls in a very prompt mannerI ended up needing a rental car and it took for me to call my agent at *** *** *** in Little Falls NY to get something to happen with the claim, the rental car and the check which was finally mailed out on 1/13/My car is still sitting in the shop to date due to the lack of professionalism from this insurance companyI am very upset that it has taken this long and still don’t have my car backI have spoken with a manager on numerous occasions and the claims agent that was assigned to me was absolutely useless in this whole processIt should not take more than weeks from accident to back on the roadThis has caused much unanticipated stress on meI am considering dropping this policy and writing with a much more professional company that can handle claims in a prompt manner

This is the worst company ever!! The least helpful people working on staff including supervisor Dennis B***, would not even give up the name of his managerThey do not care about customer service what so everThey dont pay claimants appropriately...I feel bad for anyone who does not know how the system works because they will get over on you! Get a lawyer I am!!!

I purchased home insurance from Utica National back at the beginning of AugustI was informed that they would do an inspection of my homeI didn't have a problem with thatThe inspector did call, and I returned his phone callBut, he wanted me to take a day off work (which I can't do)I suggested mornings or evenings after I got home from work, or even a weekendHe said that doesn't workHe then proceeded to say that he would change the inspection from an interior inspection to an exterior inspectionHe said he would come by and take pictures and look in the windowsFrom my video cameras at my home, he did follow through

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would have preferred to resolve the issue with Utica National, but since I was informed that my home insurance policy would be cancelled in a couple days, I had no other option except to find another insurance companyThis unreasonable amount of time does not allow either party to resolve problemsUtica National did respond quickly to my complaint, and was reasonable in trying to resolve the issueThe primary problem is with Utica National's Home Inspection Co, with headquarters in Western NY, who was very unreasonable and in my experience liedIt is my understanding that the Inspection company had weeks to inform Utica National of a problem, but failed to file the report in a timely manner or allow the home owner or the Utica National to rectify any issuesFurthermore, this Inspection Company has a reputation on intentionally failing inspections, and citing factious code violations, and fraudulent deceiving the insurance company in their reports to insurance companiesThis strategy enables the Inspection company to reinspect the same house over and over and over againThe Inspection Company is unduly enriched at the expense of the home owner and the insurance companyUtica National admitted that they have problems with their vendor (Inspection Co), and they are in the process of replacing them.In my opinion, the number of complaints and actions of the Home Inspection Co warrants a complaint to the NY State Atty General's Office.Regards,

I have called this company and cancel my policy over the phone more then three times and they still sending me a bill I have a credit of dollar that I never use that I want back .policy number ***

They don’t respond after initial contactI had to send messages via their *** page to get a responseMy claims rep was nice, but blamed me that she had to call me twice in under hours because I hadn’t called back (had surgery)It took over a week to get an adjuster to my house, after I had sent the *** messageThe adjuster didn’t even go up into the attic where the problem originatedThen I had to send another *** message that I hadn’t heard anything about the paymentSending messages helped, but that’s just awful customer serviceI also sent pictures of something they missed under the instruction of their repNO RESPONSEI’m tiredI’m in search of a new insurance company nowThey are totally not worth the stress and I am disgusted with their service

I am going through Utica for a motor vehicle accident claimTheir client hit my car while it was sitting still at a red light, and the driver had an expired licenseThey estimated damage and agreed to pay the body shop for itThe body shop completed repairs, but now Utica is not responding and refuses to pay the claimThey will not even call back or answer emailsMy car is finished, but needs to be put in storage, because they will not comply
