Review: in May I spoke to someone at Vector because they called about renewing the contract. I told them I was not renewing, I was going with a cheaper company. In November I called and asked how I could cancell the service and to stop a auto withdrawel from my accout. The person I spoke to said, she could do all that right know on the phone. Which she did, as of December there was no withdrawel. I was never told that I had to follow up in writeing. I was told the cancellation would be done along with the cancellation of withrawal. Then in Feb. I received a pass due notic I called the company and told them what happened. they said just put it in writing, which I did. I received a call from them treatening with legal action about the balance they I owe. I told them I had another service and did not owe them anything. Know I am getting threating calls from a collection agency that represent them. I asked they agency to put everything in writing but they just threaten me. I wrote them a letter explaining the situation but still they call threatening me with legal action.Desired Settlement: I would like to them to stop threatening me and put everything in writing and I dont owe them anything. They stoped the auto withdrawal and processed the cancelation, per the phone call. Why would they have stoped the auto withdrawal if they did not cancel the service

Review: Rick K[redacted] of vector came to my house advertising a 3 year contract with vector when it fact it was a 3 year never ending contract unless you call in to cancel Rick imformed me if I sign up that day he could give me some special offers but it had to be done then. when I tried to cancel I was told I would have to pay still pay for the rest of the year because I didnt cancel my contractDesired Settlement: A zero balance on my account

Review: The contract cannot be cancelled within the 72 hr time frame as the contract states. I was unable to get any one of the 9 phone numbers that I got forwarded to or asked to call to cancel this policy. Nor would any of the people I talked to cancel my policy or take responsibility to cancel this policy. They continued to try and take my payment out, I had to cancel my card to stop them. Their part of the contract was not fulfilled they were supposed to supply security cameras which they did not have. After they installed the rest of the system proceeded to tell me I had to have internet. I started dealing with then in on March 25th when they installed the system. on March 28th within the 72 hrs I started calling them to cancel the contract. it took them over a month to finally cancel this contract after multiple phone calls to all these different numbers. However on June 5th I received another bill. They haven't ever ever picked up their equipment. I am a truck driver so I am not home every day however I have made every attempt to work with them to come and get the equipment in a timely manner. It should not have been this difficult to cancel this contract as they said it would be. I was also given a brochure to send in if I wanted to cancel this before the 72 hrs which I did then began the phone call circus.Desired Settlement: I want the contract cancelled, the bills to stop coming that I do not owe, I want a letter expressly telling me it has been cancelled by the company. And assurance that this will not show up on my credit report.

This complaint should be directed to:

[redacted]

They were the Authorized Dealer that sold and installed the account. Vector Security has terminated the account with our system.

Review: have filled a complaint before against vector security before. They will not let out of my contract at [redacted] ga. [redacted]. I have lost the house in a divorce and the system has never work correctly since it was install. I have received letters saying they not getting a signal from the home ever and they want to charge me to look at it. I want out this contract. The system has never worked and they have me in a five year contract that was never mentioned when the salesman was there. I would never sign a 5 year contract. I have been paying 44 dollars a month for 4 years for a product that does not work and I don't want.

Business

Response:

Customer signed 5 year agreement on 6/14/11, [redacted] Security, the Authorized Dealer that sold and installed the system did 2 recorded QA calls with [redacted]. On both calls he agreed to the terms of the agreement. Like I responded to his previous complaint back on 1/7/13, while we are sorry to hear about his divorce, it does not release him from the terms of the agreement.

Review: Company has failed to respond to my phone calls or e-mails.

I moved into my residence in May. The former owner had a Vector Security system already installed but my real estate agent told me the former owner's family wouldn't advise me to keep Vector because they had cheated their Mom. I contacted Vector by phone at ###-###-#### and left a message for them to contact me. I also called a lady named Sherry E[redacted] at ###-###-#### and left her a message to call me. She had sent me a card in the mail earlier because I was new to the neighborhood. I also e-mailed Vector and told them I wanted to have their security system removed from my residence. I got no response from them.Desired Settlement: All I want from them is to have the security system removed from my residence.

Response:

November 7, 2014Dear [redacted],Customer has placed the same complaint with Revdex.com in another State as well. I am responding the same way as the previous complaint. The security system that is installed in the residence was the property of the previous owner. Vector has no responsibility incurring costs to remove a system that we are not the owner of.Regards,Steve H Direct of Operations

Review: In the month of May I call for 2 weeks to cancel my services and after I thought I canceled I called back to removed the payment method I had been using. Well I was charged again this morning for my regular monthly amount. I am sick of dealing with these people and very bad customer services. I was relocating to another state for work so I no longer had a need for the services I called to cancel I was switched my call to a moving department I was moving into an APARTMENT! No one would listen the guy kept saying you can the service and just add it into the rent for the new tenants. I called to cancel not to hear that but no I ran into at least 3 more people who refused to listen! When I finally got someone this woman had an attitude about my canceling. This is crazy if you people want repeat services and more customers then do what your customers ask!Desired Settlement: I want my account canceled like I thought I did in MAY! I want my $ 44.95 back I was charged this month. After all the calls and finding different CSR's to talk to about wanting to simply cancel and not getting that result. I don't even want to be charged a cancellation fee. You might think that is unreasonable but so is calling into a company and talk to CSR's that don't listen, lie, and keeps charging you anyway!

Business

Response:

Customer signed original 3 year contract at $34.95 on 3/15/12. Customer called in back in October, 2013 about adding on cell unit. Quoted customer to upgrade their existing panel to touchscreen, add cell unit, and add additional remote services. Customer Signed new 5 year agreement at $44.95 on 3/10/13 with their new contract terms expiring on 10/3/18. Customer called in stating they were moving to apartment, but not selling their home. Vector is holding the customer to the terms of the agreement. Vector made a substantial investment in upgrading the system. Customer was sent buyout of remaining contract terms of $2,043.73.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:When I called to cancel it was like pulling teeth with multiple calls to handle what was supposed to be a simple transaction. Then after I followed your rules of cancellation with the horrible customer service and you billed me the next month anyways after I followed your rules. I got no apology for your bad services nor an apology for billing me again! Your company has multiple bad complaints throughout the internet. I had an incident where your so called investment was ripped out of my wall. Guess what no call from your company about it. So u all got no alert? Thanks for sending my bill after I had to contact the Revdex.com. Because you all ignore my official request for cancellation. I owe u nothing!
