companySince she has coverage in place, she may disregard our offerAs requested, we will add *** *** to our Do Not Mail list so she will not receive any more letters from Vehicle AssurancePlease note that Vehicle Assurance sends a letter with our Name and Address on itThere are other Marketing companies that are not related to Vehicle Assurance who send urgent notices that are not associated with our company
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would like to say that I appreciate and gratefully accept the offer to refrain from any more contact, but take exception to the mention of other companiesI did receive the letter with their name and address on it which is why I filed the complaint, so any attempt to implicate another company is in errorThey should accept responsibility for their actionsI will consider the matter closed unless I happen to receive any further communication from them

We have received the inquiry from Mr. [redacted] and apologize for any inconvenience our mailing may have caused him.  As Mr. [redacted] has requested, we will add him to the Do Not Mail list for Vehicle Assurance so that he will not receive any mailings from us in the future.  Please note that...

there are other companies in the industry that use Direct Mail, but Vehicle Assurance will always have our name and address clearly stated on the letter.  We are a separate company and we are not associated with, nor do we do business with, any of these other companies. Mr. [redacted] referenced our Website and all the information on hosting and IP address, all of this is correct.  The company information including address and phone number are on the Home page, this is the same address and phone number on the Direct Mail piece that was sent to Mr. [redacted].  We are currently updating the Contact page and that will be available shortly, but all other forms of contact are available.  In reference to the Facebook inquiry regarding [redacted], Mr. [redacted] does not have a Facebook account. Vehicle Assurance does not know nor is it affiliated with the [redacted] who resides in France

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
we did NOT call the business on 06/01/2016 as stated by the business. they called US on 05/31/2016. let's get that fact straight. also, when I was displeased with the way vehicle assurance was handling my claim, I was directed to call united care by VH to find out why the claim was being denied. when I spoke with "[redacted] @ UCC he told me I would have to speak with vehicle assurance. talk about a company trying to assist its customer!!!! I reconnected with mr [redacted] @ VH and he agreed to terminate our contact over the phone as long as I sent a written letter of cancellation to VH, which I did on the a.m. of 08/16/2016. I would like VH to discuss the unscrupulous insinuations that we could get our car repaired thru VH (and UCC) when we were NOT directly told the repairs had to be made AFTER the
30 day, 1000 mile requisited...in other words, the salesmen ([redacted] and [redacted]) led me to believe we were signing on to lengthen the ownership of our car in good repair.  this is what we are objecting to. had the salesmen been clearer, I doubt that we would have agreed to such a limited contract, as the description of the deal was much more in our favor..........at the time of the call. sincerely [redacted] and [redacted]

Prior to filing this complaint, Mrs. [redacted] called us and stated that she wanted to cancel her policy, which we did.  We are awaiting notification from VISA in regard to the total amount of chargebacks they have processed on her behalf.  Upon receiving that, we will mail a check for...

the remaining balance so that the [redacted]s are refunded 100%.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/19) */
We are in receipt of the complaint from Ms. [redacted] and it is true we do contact potential customers through Direct Mail and since Ms. [redacted] wishes not to receive any further mailings we will add her to Vehicle Assurance's Do Not Mail list...

and we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] was also concerned about the phone calls she was receiving; Vehicle Assurance only uses Direct Mail as our form of contact with potential customers. We are not affiliated nor do business with the Marketing companies or Administrators who utilize outbound phone calls, email or text as a form of Marketing.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/02/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

We have received the complaint from Mr. [redacted] and would like to apologize for any issue our letter may have caused.  Our letter was an offer to purchase new coverage, we did not know that he had already set up an extended service plan with Toyota.  As he requested, we will add him to...

our Do Not Mail List so that he no longer receives mail from Vehicle Assurance.  Please note, there are other companies that use Direct Mail, but our letter will always have our name and address on it.

We have received and reviewed the complaint by Mr. [redacted] and apologize for any inconvenience our marketing caused.  On rare occasions we can receive data that has incorrect information and when we are made of aware of this we remove it from our system.  We want to assure Mr. [redacted]...

that this is not a case of identity theft and we have removed this incorrect information.  Also, as he requested, we have removed Mr. [redacted] from our database as well, so that he will no longer receive any mailers from Vehicle Assurance.  Please note that there are other companies in the industry but Vehicle Assurance will always have our name and address clearly stated on the letter.  We are not affiliated with nor do we do business with any other companies in the industry.  We also wanted to let Mr. [redacted] know that we listened to the call and agree he should have been transferred to a manager who would have been able to address his concerns.  We have addressed the handling of this call with the sales representative that Mr. [redacted] spoke to and used it as a training tool for his improvement.  We hope these actions resolve this issue to Mr. [redacted]’s satisfaction.

We have received the complaint filed by [redacted] and apologize for any inconvenience our mailing may have caused.  The letter she received was an offer for new coverage with Vehicle Assurance and was not referencing coverage she may currently have with another company.  Since she...

has coverage in place, she may disregard our offer.    We have added Ms. [redacted] to our Do Not Mail List so that she will no longer receive mailings from us.  Please note that there are other companies that use Direct Mail, but Vehicle Assurance will always have our name and address clearly stated on the letter.  We are not associated with, nor do we do business with, any other these other companies.   We hope this helps resolve Ms. [redacted]’s complaint.  Please let us know if there are any other questions.

Assurance will always have our name and address clearly stated on the letter. Mr. [redacted] also requested confirmation that Vehicle Assurance will not share his information with other affiliates or companies we do business with.  Vehicle Assurance is a separate company and we are not affiliated with, nor do we do business with any other companies in the industry.  His information will not be shared with anyone. Finally, Vehicle Assurance would like to apologize to Mr. [redacted] for the way in which his call was handled by Mark this morning.  We take any complaint seriously and as a result have taken appropriate action regarding this matter.

We received the complaint made by [redacted] regarding the Vehicle Service Contract she purchased with [redacted]), through the broker, Vehicle Assurance.  Vehicle Assurance is a broker of Vehicle Service Contracts and we place customers with the appropriate Administrator...

based on their vehicle and driving habits. The contract is between the Customer and the Administrator; Vehicle Assurance, being a broker, does not have the authority to approve or authorize any claims or payments. We are always available to assist and work hard for the customer, but the claim approval or denial is based on the contract and must be handled through [redacted].  Ms. [redacted] may contact them at [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] has cancelled her policy and will be receiving a pro-rated refund as outlined in her contract and Vehicle Assurance will be assisting with that.  She should receive the check within 7 to 10 business days.

believe this complaint may be for another company with a similar name, possibly Nationwide Vehicle Assurance, who does make outbound sales calls.  We have checked and find that that we have no one in our database that has the address listed by Mr. [redacted]. However, to assure that he doesn’t ever receive any offers from Vehicle Assurance, we will add him to our Do Not Mail list.  Please note there are many other companies that use Direct Mail, but Vehicle Assurance will always have our name and address on any offer we mail.
