This letter is in the reference to the response letter the above claimant made in reference to his move.To start off with he was paid for the two items that were on his claim form, by the liability he signed for on moving dayAlso as far as the estimate he did not sign the estimate as he claims and also it was not a not to exceed estimate (copy enclosed)If you read the estimate which he received before his move it even states the conditions of the estimate.As far as the liability we cannot take responsibility for a person not reading what they sign.And finally I am not going to lower myself to match comments made by MrKingI can only tell you that he is wrong in many things that he saysOur guys are full time and they are professionalsThis is just like any job and that accidents do happen and that we are very sorry for thatOur percent of claims is well below the National Average.Regards,Becker Movers

This letter is in reference to the above person's complaint for her move to Florida.First of all we are agents for [redacted] Van Lines, which means that when a person like Ms [redacted] moves over state lines, then she is moving under the authority of [redacted] Van Lines, notBecker MoversOn the day of the estimate she was explained that and also given literature on that also.I did contact [redacted] Van Lines on her claimTo start out she did sign for replacement liabilitybut she also initialed for the $deductible and paid a smaller amount because of this.Again, reviewing the claim form and reviewing the amount of money that [redacted] Van Lines iswilling to pay her I think she should take it as I think it is very fairI think it is fair because a lot of herdamages are boxed items which are not covered because they are packed by the customer not themoverI know people like Ms [redacted] will say that the box is crushed but a lot of the times it is becausethey are not filled and they crush due to open space or they do not use a heavy enough box to startwith.I know she is trying to blame Becker Movers and wants free storage but on the same note she issaying that the truck that delivered her items was packed poorlyThat is [redacted] and [redacted] 'sdriver's responsibility not ours.We are sorry for any damage that occurred to the goods but again she signed a [redacted] VanLines Bill of Laden and paid [redacted] Van Lines for the move so she has to settle with them.As far as her items coming into storage she could not be more wrongWe inventoried andcarefully wrapped her items and when they left here the [redacted] Van Lines driver loaded his own truckand he did not note any damages from our warehouse to his truck so because of that, the request for arefund for that is out of the question.Again, we do apologize for any problems that may have occurred during the move and I willhappily discuss this with Ms [redacted] or anyone else.Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.Yours trulyRon [redacted] Becker Movers

This letter is in reference to the above person's complaint.During the move an accident did occur and a piece broke off her washing machineWe went to [redacted] toget the part and they did not have It in stock so they had to order It and that is why it would not be fixeduntil 2/22/We have since dropped the piece off to her and called her numerous times to see if sheneeded assistance to get the piece put on the machine but has never returned our calls.As far as her comment about It taken to long, we dispute her claim as the manager that went out to herhouse after loading saw how full the truck was and agreed that the times would be rightThey do talkto each other as a form of communicationWe feel we completed our commitment by repladng thebroken piece which seemed to be her biggest concern.We are sorry about the problem and hope this matter is settled.Any questions you or Ms [redacted] have can contact our office.Yours truly,Becker Movers

ID# [redacted] To Whom This May Concern:This letter is in reference to the above complaint.On March 13, Mr [redacted] called about damages done during his move which was done on March 4, At that time our office sent him out a claim form to fill out to the best of his ability.After receiving Mr ***'s claim form (copy enclosed) we sent a representative out to look at his claimOur representative saw no physical damage to the television and a small ding on the side of the refrigeratorHe was not shown anything else nor was anything else put on the claim form.On moving day the ***'s signed for the basic liability of $.30/lbper article for any damage done to their goods (copy enclosed).Our contract also states that we do not cover internal parts unless dropped by the mover.Rather than to dispute their claim, we paid for both items claimed at the basic liability of $.30/lbper article (copy enclosed)We also gave each piece extra poundage so the re would be no discrepancy about that.As far as the estimate and actual cost, the estimate was for $to start withWe had more difficulty in getting his furniture out of his old house and into his new houseMore disassembly and reassembly was neededThe customer knew this was only an estimate and they were being charged on an hourly basis.We are sorry for any problems this may have caused the ***'s but at this point we feel that the amount of money we sent to the ***'s was more than fair.If anyone has any questions on this please do not hesitate to call me.Yours truly,Becker Movers

This letter is in reference to the above customer.To start off with, yes there was a mirror broken on this jobThe item was wrapped and tieddown properly but the strap broke.we immediately sent out a claim form to the person as soon as we learned of the damageWetold her to fill it out and send it back to us.Upon receiving her claim form back we reviewed her moving contract that was signed by her onmoving dayIn her writing she signed for $.30/lbper article and that is how we settled her claimWehave sent her out a check for that amount and it was cashed by the customer.On this claim I also went one step further and looked at the signed part of the contract, whichstates if she took out extra insurance how we would have paid herBecause of the age of the piece andthrough depreciation (which is stated on the signed sheet) she would have been in the same situation.We are sorry that because of an accident happened she thinks the men were unprofessional butI assure you that they are very professionalThey try there hardest to do the best job possible.Again, we are sorry for any problems and out of Good Faith we are reimbursing her for anadditional $towards her claim.Any questions please do not hesitate to call me.Thank you,Ron W [redacted] Becker Movers

This letter is in reference to the complaint we received from you about the above person.To start out with we did in fact move the above person into our storage on December 10, 2016and moved her out on Apri114, 2017.Shortly after her moving in she called our office about some missing screws and bracketsWelooked and found noneWe told her this and we would send her out a claim form for these items.On May 15, we received a claim form for items that we knew nothing about except fortwo items for missing hardware.On June 2, we sent a representative out to the home to look at the claimed itemsHeresponded to say that there were some scratches on her items and that everything was put togetherexcept for the screws to the leg of the pinball machine.At no point from her move out of our warehouse on 4/14/untii7/S/was there anymention of missing items other than screws and brackets to the items they took apart.After reviewing the contract that she signed on moving day, which was $.30/lbper article forliability we found it easier to pay her according to the contract she signed rather than argue with thecustomer.We also told her that for storage we only have the basic coverage of $.30/lbper article becausemost home owner's insurance company's cover the items when in storageWhy would you doubleinsure anything as you cannot collect twice for the same claim?We are sorry that Ms [redacted] was unhappy with our settlement but we felt that it was a fairsettlement.If anyone has any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.Yours truly,Becker Movers

This letter is in reference to the above person's complaint.On June 6, 2016, Mr*** did receive an estimate for the pack and moving job.When doing an estimate in the moving business these are only estimates because people addand subtract items or add extra stops, and also we do not see
destination for any problems that may occur because of furniture being different so it goes by time and materials.As is the case with Mr*** he did have us pick up items at a second location, which wasnot in the estimate.We tried calling Mr*** by phone plus we emailed him to try and resolve his complaintand have not heard from him.Also because we have been try to get a hold of him that is why it has taken us so long to answerthis complaint.cost.At this point, unless someone calls us, we have gone as far as we can at this point.Sorry about the problems and we will be more than happy to talk with Mr*** about the Any questions please do not hesitate to give me a call.Yours truly,Ron ***

We were basically charged times as much as expected; were not happy with the sloppy job and damage to our furniture that they didThey reimbursed us for 1/hours; We asked for $more to complete this existing complaint but were denied.This company is one of the most unprofessional businesses that I've ever experienced.We would not recommend using this company to move your belongings as they have not shown us that they care to resolve an issue with a customer

The case ID number ***There is absolutely physical damage to the TV. I will forward a picture at your request. Also, the Refrigerator has several dents and scratches on it. If I wanted a refrigerator in this condition I could have saved thousands and went to the scratch and dent section. As for the estimate being $1100, Brett (their trusted rep) told me it would be between $and $He stated several times that it would not exceed $It ended up being $1880. Brett the rep walked through my house before I signed and gave me a figure not to exceed 1100. $to $was his quoteCome to find out this bait and switch tactic is a pattern with this company. Brett is a complete liar and this outfit are crooksThey absolutely dropped the TV, scratched and dented my refrigerator. They broke several other items that were discovered after the claim form was filled out. I had to buy new hardware for some of my furniture because the misplaced it in their unorganized move. I have never dealt with an unorganized company to this extent, ever! Two people have already asked who I used to move my house and I shared my VALID experience with them. They did not use Becker after what I had to tell themLastly, the insurance was never offered to me on the day of the move. The paper work was glanced at by their rep and myself. No detail was ever given about coverage. I find it comical that I could have purchased a higher premium for the future neglect of their employees. That should have been a red flag. Let me understand this, I have to buy more insurance because you hire incompetent movers? I thought they were professionals. When talking to most of their employees Becker mover was a weekend job and most of them had full time employment somewhere else entirely different than moving. Know one seemed to be professional movers at all. Their blatant carelessness of my property proved that
