Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  Apparently, VESTA handles billing for a number of entities including [redacted].  A [redacted] customer gave them my debit card number to pay his/her bill.  Since this customer's debit number -- with the exception of one number -- is similar to mine, they think s/he made a mistake (typo).  However, the 3-digit security number this customer provided was not mine.  Neither VESTA nor my bank noticed this discrepancy.  Thus, my checking account was erroneously debited for $17.00.  Is this a satisfactory response?  I guess so, but both VESTA and my bank should have caught the mistake.Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for your reply but I have already filed a complaint. After being denied Instant Debit transaction by Vesta Corp. , they debited over $300 from my bank account anyway. This concluded with my bank having to get involved in order try to have my funds returned. They are still pending as of...

now. My bank requires a faxed release from Vesta Corp. So, as of now the funds have been debited from my bank account AND are NOT available on my [redacted] card. I am rejecting this response because: The merchant submitted 6 authorizations for one transaction.  I feel that is suspicious behavior on any one's part.  I thought thatwhen American Express told me that one transaction which was not submitted successfully  ( I did not receive a  service or product ) was then submitted 6 timesthey were exaggerating, however, when I spoke with  company today that admitted they had created this suspicous entry.  When I called attention to the problem,I received no assistant from the responsible party, instead I spend many hours for four days trying to find out who could resolve the problem, while they just watched, refusing to help.  I had customer service American Express contact the appropriate department of American express with the responsible merchant on thetelephone.  I asked that the responsible merchant send a fax to the appropriate part at American Express asking for the invalid authorizations be removed as Iwas instructed by American Express Customer Service.  I also asked to receive a copy of the fax or an email confirming that the email was sent.  The manager
