Veterans Roofing Reviews (59)

The other dates were July and august 2014 because right from the start the shingles were falling off.

This employee no longer works for veterans ,but looking at that contract ,the items on customers complaint are not items that were contracted to do according to the contract ,I have talked to...

the former employee and assures us that the job was completed to the specifications agreed upon ,this is something I recommend to be handled through the court systems

Think there has been some miscommunication between the manager and owner ,the manager is the one that met our estimator ,he pointed out which broken pieces he wanted replaced on approx 10 diff building ,,he marked them with a "x" we gave estimate on just that ,,then after he found more damaged...

pieces, these were not discussed during the contract ,all work he originally stated he wanted done has been completed and inspected multiple times by them and has passed there inspection ,if more work is needed we would be happy to send out a estimator and give a estimate on additional work

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Regards, [redacted]

We are glad that you are satisfied with the workmanship ,thank you for bringing this to are attention as we clearly must have had a breakdown somewhere in communication ,as when the employees left and gave the homeowner the option if they wanted us to hang the light or leave it down for the husband...

so he doesn't have to remove it to paint ,,unfortunately as per your warranty card veterans is not responsible for other companies cost if you elect to have other companies so work ,

Veterans went back to this residence numerous times to honor the roof warranty & will continue to honor the roof warranty. In regards to the interior damages that are extremely minor ,they are 100% due to a defective existing skylight that veterans Did not install nor did any damage to &...

shouldn't be responsible for ,the homeowner needs to address his concerns with either his skylight installer or skylight manufacturer as veterans has and will continue to maintain the roof is intact leak free & as the homeowner says his leak was from the skylight ,even still veterans home imp still went out to his property and at no additional cost sealed his skylight seals to attempt to help him. If there is any issues whatsoever with the roof please contact us & we will be happy to honor veterans warranty on all of veterans work

Please forward a copy of contract as we do not accept any jobs under  $500 and do not have any record of work performed at this address

This is not a veterans contract  ,it does not have veterans name or phone number or address on it ,,if you have a cancelled check made out to veterans I would be happy to help ,otherwise unfortunately this has nothing to do with veterans

The reason we only honor estimates for 30 days is we can not control the price of materials and the costs of materials do fluctuate . As of now no work nor money exchanged hands and we have shredded all paperwork and consider this matter closed. Thank you

The contract is cancelled and the customer is free of any obligations to veterans home improvement

Revdex.com spoke to consumer who was seeking an update on the complaint. Revdex.com advised the consumer that the complaint would close Unresolved as Revdex.com did not receive a response back from the company regarding the last correspondence from the consumer seeking a refund of $1,000. Consumer advised they did receive a second estimate totalling $1,649. Consumer is willing to accept half of that estimate -  $800, otherwise consumer will be going to Small Claims Court. Please let Revdex.com know if your company is willing to refund the consumer $800 to settle the complaint.

The work was completed and signed off by the customer as satisfactory at the time of the job last yr ,since this time the color of the mortar has changed in certain areas of the chimney, this is a manufacturer issue not a labor issue .as to our only Mason he has been called to active duty so at this...

time we are not accepting any masonry jobs as we currently do not have a Mason

Veterans is willing to offer $400 and that is only to avoid waiting multiple days in small claims court ,,we have fixed the leak that was from the skylight not the roof ,we will continue to honor the roof warranty,

Veterans sent a repair crew to stop the leak at the skylight and it was determined that the leak was not due to installation rather it was due to a skylight manufactor defect ,we have been in contact with the manufactor who has sent there rep to the address and we are still waiting for the...

manufactor to honor there warranty as we will happily install a new skylight at no charge

As this customer said we have sent employees out anytime a repair was needed because we do honor our warranty, we would be happy to send a crew out again if needed, unfortunately once another company goes on the work it null & voids any warranty

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Consumer called Revdex.com and indicated that the job has NOT been completed, though she had paid in full.Regards,[redacted]

We will be sending a crew out there again today between 1-4 to inspect / correct any issues

to my understanding Mr [redacted]  is a employee  of Veterans roofing because when I called there number [redacted] Mr [redacted] replied . so I guess he is doing work on the side and Veterans is unaware of what is going on.I would also like to add that my Gutter did finally get fixed on Tuesday the 27th but it took 9 days to do this.  Sorry but with service like this I would not recommend Veterans roofing to any of my friends.thank Revdex.com for your help[redacted]

As it is highlighted in our warranty ,veterans is not responsible for warranty issues once another company modifies the work , out of good faith and to put this matter to rest veterans is willing to reimburse for the material cost of the skylight which is $200 ,even knowing this is not a labor issue it was a manufactor defect but we will reimburse for the material cost of $200
