Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/20) */
While our records indicate that a notice was previously sent, we have initiated a notice to this consumer at this time. The account has been placed into a disputed status which will remove this from her credit report, thus allowing her time to...

review the information.
We have also requested an itemized statement from the original creditor and will forward that information as well.
The account will remain on hold. Should she have further questions or concerns, I encourage her to contact me directly or to call our office at 888-982-6841.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2015/05/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:You called right after my wife passed away, I had no idea what was going on, nor was I in any state of mind to make a payment. AS the [redacted] person I spoke to stated I never once paid for this account using this card, so that is why want the refund. go ahead put it back into collections. I dont care what you do I just want the funds placed back onto my card and I will be done with this matter///
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Since this consumer mentions that another company was "charging him with the same debt", we must assume that this pertains to the prior collection agency that Sprint had placed the account with.  This was assigned to Virtuoso on 3/23/16 and at that time, the prior agency should have deleted the account from the credit report.  When he paid us on 5/18/16, we were initially unaware that this consumer had opted to pay a reduced settlement amount online. We will review the call with the agent who he spoke with and provide any additional training as appropriate.  It is our goal to resolve misunderstandings when they occur.  As previously stated, we have deleted the account from the credit report and believe that this should resolve this matter.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/11/04) */
We have located an account that we believe is the one associated with this consumer.
However, we have a different address and would like to send him updated correspondence. We have placed this account on hold and deleted it from the...

credit report so that he will have an opportunity to review the information.
We encourage him to call our office so that we can verify that this is the correct account - our toll free # is X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. He may also contact me directly by email or phone.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/11/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will be contacting the office as soon as the debt is removed from my credit score which is yet to happen. I have checked my credit report and I am still seeing the debt there which has caused my credit score to drop 80 points.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/11/17) */
Our records show several possible accounts that may be accurately or inaccurately associated with this consumer. Without speaking to the consumer, we are unable to match the correct one and if appropriate, remove it from his credit report. We have asked the consumer to contact us - however, we have no record of him calling or emailing us. Therefore, the best that I can do is "guess" that a recent placement with the same name as this consumer is the account in question. We have submitted a manual deletion from his credit report. We believe that this should satisfy his concerns. Once again - if he would need more assistance or want to speak to us he may call me directly at my office number provided.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/12/24) */
We apologize for the confusion concerning this account. The records were updated at the same time that payments came through which had been made directly to Indianapolis Power & Light. The account is now paid in full. We have also submitted a...

manual deletion from the credit report. The AUD reference number for the deletion is XXXXXXXX..
If he has further questions or concerns, he may contact me directly by email or phone.

We have located an account for this consumer which was recalled by the original creditor and closed in our system on 8/18/2011.  It was deleted from the credit report at that time.  However, since this consumer indicates that the account has remained on her credit report, we have taken the...

additional step of submitting an online deletion again on 11/15/16.  The AUD reference number for the deletion is [redacted]. We believe that this should resolve this matter for this consumer.  If the account continues to be reported, we recommend that she dispute the account with the credit reporting agency and include the AUD # provided.  If she has further questions or concerns, she can reach me directly at ###-###-#### or by email to [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/20) */
We have reviewed the information and phone calls on this account. They show that we were not able to reach this consumer at the phone number but also were not advised that she could not receive phone calls. At one point, they did advise that...

she could not receive "solicitation calls". However, our phone attempts were not solicitation calls.
We have now removed all phone numbers from the account and there will be no further contact from Virtuoso concerning this matter.
If she has other questions or concerns, I encourage her to contact me directly.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/16) */
We have located two accounts for this customer that were placed with Virtuoso concerning two separate medical accounts each for the same amount. These were recalled by the creditor and closed with Virtuoso on 6/1/15. They were also submitted...

for deletion from the credit report at that time.
It is likely that the accounts have been assigned to a new collection agency after they were recalled and closed at Virtuoso.
There will be no further attempt to collect this by Virtuoso. And since this consumer has indicated that they remained on the credit report, we have taken the additional step of manually deleting them again on 7/13/15. The AUD reference numbers for the deletions are XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX.
We feel confident that this will resolve this matter for the consumer. However, if he has further questions or concerns, he may contact me directly.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/07/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I received a satisfactory response by mail from the business, (Virtuoso Sourcing), on July 23rd, 2015. I appreciate the prompt resolution of the matter.
As a summary, which has not been necessarily requested upon this form: My dispute with Virtuoso focused upon an allegation of a medical debt, and the allegation of the debt surfaced in two separate collections entries within my [redacted] credit report.
Noteworthy: All medical costs had already been paid to the original medical provider by the [redacted] of [redacted] This is now known, of course, and it is no longer an issue with Virtuoso or in dispute with Virtuoso.
Virtuoso responded with "....the debt was recalled by the creditor and closed with Virtuoso on June 1, 2015." Virtuoso added: The collections entries in Experian were then deleted, both electronically and manually, and provided AUD reference numbers: XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX.
This complaint with Virtuoso promptly and satisfactorily resolved.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/13) */
We have placed this account into a disputed status and will have a letter sent to the consumer again which provides the information concerning the account and the original creditor. She will then have the opportunity to review the information...

and to contact us to resolve this matter.
The account has been deleted from the credit report and will remain in this status until she contacts us further.
If she has additional questions, we encourage her to contact our office toll free at 888-982-6841 or she may contact me directly.

We have reviewed our records which indicate that on 7/6/16 this consumer contacted us to establish a payment to resolve this account.  He provided us with the account number, balance due and his credit card information.  Our agent gave all appropriate disclosures concerning the account and...

the payment transaction.  He was provided a payment authorization code. However, as this consumer is indicating that he "did not authorize" this transaction, we will be glad to work with him to resolve his dispute.  We ask that he contact me directly to discuss his requested refund.  Our manager spoke with this consumer and at that time, the consumer indicated that he had planned to dispute the item with his credit card provider.  We must first determine the status of the payment transaction and then are more than glad to fully cooperate with him.My contact information is as follows:  Office number ###-###-#### and email = [redacted]If the transaction is reversed, then the account balance will become due again.  If he feels that the amount is incorrect, we would ask that he provide us with a detailed dispute of the account.

Our records show that we received a letter of dispute from this customer on 4/12/16 which was forwarded to ADT for their review.  This account includes a past due balance for services provided and a "balance of contract" for the cancelled contract before the end of the 3 year...

period.   The amount paid was the amount for past due services.  And many ADT customers choose to resume service so that they can 1) have the benefit of security service and 2) utilize the contract if they have to pay for it anyhow.  If this consumer wishes to apply for resumed service, we will be glad to assist them and follow up with ADT.  We do not control that policy - it is the policy of the original creditor, ADT.   However, we have placed the account into a disputed status, we will refrain from further collection effort and have removed it from the credit report.  We believe that this will provide the consumer an opportunity to determine how she wishes to resolve this matter.  She may also contact me directly if she has further questions or concerns. My contact information is [redacted] or [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/23) */
We have reviewed the information provided by this consumer and forwarded it to our client who suggested that we send her the detailed billings so that she could determine whether she had been affiliated with the address or the parties on the...

account.
She has continued to express her frustration concerning the account and we have advised our client of her concerns. They have indicated that they will withdraw the account from our office. Therefore, there will be no further calls or attempts to collect this account from Virtuoso Sourcing Group.
It is important that this consumer understand that this account has never been submitted to the credit reporting agencies.
We believe that this will resolve this matter for her. If she has further questions or concerns, she may contact me directly.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me; HOWEVER, as they claim they attempted to remove these items from my credit report once before, I am hesitant to close out the complaint until these two items are confirmed removed.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/12/04) */
We have placed this account on hold while we are researching the consumer's claim that she has already resolved this matter with another assigned agency.
We have deleted it from her credit report and expect to have more information for her...

soon. There will be no further contact from virtuoso concerning this account. If she has further questions, she may feel free to contact me directly by phone or email.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/13) */
This consumer contacted our office directly on 5/5/15 concerning this matter and the account was deleted from her credit report at that time. A Paid in Full letter with confirmation of deletion was provided to her at that time.
We believe...

this should resolve her concerns. If she has further questions, she may contact me and I will be glad to assist her.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/05/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/13) */
Our records indicate that we did receive a payment in full from this consumer and that we did not have a correct address for her at that time.
Normally a Paid in Full account is updated to show as "Previously past due account - paid in full"...

and it remains on the consumer's credit report.
However, due to the fact that we did not have a correct address for this consumer, we have taken the additional step of deleting the account from her credit report. The AUD confirmation # is XXXXXXXX.
We believe that this should resolve this matter for the consumer. If she has further questions, she may contact me directly.

We have located the account for this consumer.  The account has been placed into a dispute status and a letter providing additional information has been initiated in our system.  We have also requested details of the account from the original creditor and will forward this to her. The...

account has been deleted from the credit report since she had not previously received our notice.  We have updated our records with her current address and sent the information to that address.  If she has further questions and would like to speak with us, she may call us toll free at [redacted].  She is also welcome to contact me directly by email to [redacted] or she may call my office ###-###-####.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I never received any itemized report and this solution was only finally reached after speaking with 4 different representatives who had no idea what was going on. Once I submitted a complaint to the attorney general as well as the Revdex.com, they were finally able to get me in touch with someone who actually knew what was going on.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Virtuoso Sourcing Group has located the two accounts noted by this consumer.  They were assigned to Virtuoso for collections on behalf of [redacted] who did purchase the accounts from the original creditor.  They were assigned on 3/4/2014 and were recalled on ...

10/1/2014.  The accounts were closed in our system at that time and were submitted for deletion from the credit reporting agencies on 10/6/2014. Most likely [redacted] assigned the accounts for further collection with another agency.  However, since this consumer has indicated that the accounts remained on her credit report, we have taken the additional step of submitting them for online deletion again today. This should resolve this matter for the consumer.  If she has further questions or concerns or should the accounts continue to be reported in the future, she may contact me directly either by email to [redacted] or by phone to ###-###-####.
