The workers left the customers home at 7:PM, We did take hours off the clock which would put the customer at hours of labor.The deduction in hours was NOT because we were late, the delay in arrival was due toheavy traffic and an accident in the highway which is out of our control The two hour deductionwas for MrsPetta’s complaint regarding the movers pace and according to herone mover being on the phone, in addition the deduction also took into consideration theirminute lunch break and the phone conversation with her which was minutes Therefore at this time we cannot provide her with an additional hours discount hours off the clockWhat was agreed on and is more than fair. We apologize if you feel you had a negative experience with A&C Brothers Moving however, services are based on an hourly rate the crew started working at 9:AM and they finished working at 7:PM. This is hours of labor, when we called to collect payment you did bring up that you
felt you should be deducted some time. Based on the conversation time was deduced for a brief lunch that they took also and additional courtesy hours deducted for a total of hours deducted. Therefore you were billed for hours of labor plus your one time travel fee, $for the additional truck and $dollars in supplies. You agreed to this charge and we have a signed contract which states the same. At this time we cannot extend to you any additional refunds or credits. Thank You, A&C Brothers Moving & Storage

We are very sorry about the damaged clock, our claims department was mailed you out a claim form. Please fill out the form so that we can begin your claim. As for our pricing structure, our services areall based on an hourly rate we do not flat rate jobs. The estimate you were
given over the phone is the minimum charge which is hours of labor plus your time travel fee at the rate of $79.00. This was clearlyexplained to you, in addition the contract that you signed before we provided the services also clearly states that our pricing structure is based on an hourly rate. I did tell them it's a bedroom and I didn't think we would have to move most of it with the movers and in his response he didn't say anything about the damages I need to be compensated for the furniture the moving company damaged and for the extra hour I was charged since we did a lot of
the moving thank you

I believe that the offer for resolution that we provided Mr*** is fair considering his obligation for payment based on the contract that was attached in our original response.We are offering a 50% discount off the total that Mr*** owes to put closure. First and foremost I want to make it very clear that A&C Brothers Moving does not have any of Masha J*** belongings, therefore she is being slanderous by making that comment. When Masha Jeager first conacted our office she had indicated that she had
a missing Mac Computer and she thought one of the movers took it. She asked me to contact the movers and ask them if they remembered seeing it and if they had it all she wanted it is to be returned. I told her that the employees no longer worked for the company. I also told her she could file a claim for the missing Mac I sent her a claim form to fill out and return completely back to our office; I also told her that she could file a police report for the missing Mac. During our initial conversation three wasnever a mention of missing jewelry or glasses. At this point I questions the integrity of Masha Jeagera and the additional items she is reporting missing; I know she is very upset because on her Mac she had files that were of sentimental value to herMasha J*** still has not submitted her claim for so that we can begin her claim process. Regarding the moving services provided to Masha J*** the contract she signed clearly states that the pricing structure for the services provided are based on an hourly rate. Final billing is based on the total hours that the movers work, I am notsure why she is indicating that her quote was incorrect. MrsJ*** can contact our office and we can work something out where we can provide her a partial refund for the inconvenience of the missing Mac. We are more than happy to resolve her billing. This is the first that we hear of the issue at hand, we have pulled up your records and we do show a credit due back which has been mailed to your employer. The estimate as it shows is for movers at $per hour, we have a time travel/trip fee which is equal to the hourly rate, meaning
the service charge is also $149.00. We are showing that you signed the contract the day of the move agreeing to these terms, we show hours of labor plus the trip fee and materials used $60.00, for a total of $730.50. After doing the research on the payment it appears that your employer paid for your move so a credit of $has been submitted back to your employer. In regards to the damaged walls, the movers indicate that they advised you that the piece of furniture that you wanted upstairs could potentially cause damage as the space was too narrow. They indicated that you told them to go ahead and try it anyway, we most certainly understand your frustration however, when our staff is given a directive by our clients it is our policy to follow the directive. We apologize for the damage of caused to the waterline and as previously mentioned we do not have any record of any complaints and or issues from this relocation services. This is the first time that we hear about this, it has now been over six monthssince this relocation service occurred. I am not understanding why you waited months to report this damage, this is unclear to us. We also provide a quality call hours into the move and we show not record of dissatisfaction with our movers performance at that time. In the contractual service agreement it clearly states that we are not plumbers or electrical experts, meaning we do not disconnect or reconnect any appliances. As mentioned in the previous correspondence our claim department has sent out a claim packet for you to fill out completely and return back. I never recieved a claim form for the clock and I dont think I should have to pay for the movers hour break

This is not the first I have called multiple times and have sent multiple emails which I have saved. I have copies also of all the changes you kept making to the estimate. Originally the estimate was for for guys for hours. The rate changed from to with the addition of another guy plus another hour and the initial travel fee was also not Supplies used was only tape rolls no shrink wrapI was asking about using shrink wrap and the driver advised tape was betterThe truck literally traveled yards down the road. With my son's help and myself I signed the agreement which was completed in exactly hours. The movers were helpful and courteous. Its the Salesman trying to get one over on veteran who was getting emergency relief. The credit was to be mailed to the customer which is myself within 7-days but according to your constant modifying of the charges had yet to mail anything as of the last price hike made on Nov 24th which is stated clearly on your own form producing software. So why till over weeks after the job was completed was the price still going up. This is due to the obvious attempt to keep as much of the amount you could. No check was or has been sent. I have contacted the MERF office and nothing was sent to them either.The actual charges should have been : the travel fee 3rolls of tape 9 guys for hours at total = 560. You instead changed rates to first have a credit of 188. Then changed again by adding another half an hour and changing travel fee. I seen other similar complaints made by other customers and believe them. Again your movers were not the problem it's your crook salesmen. This is not how to conduct a business by being dishonest with your customersFor shame

Mr*** clearly you are trying to get off without paying for the services that were rendered to you. When our pricing structure was provided to you it was clearly indicated over the phone that hourly rate for services is $per hour, we have a hour labor MINIMUM and time travel fee
of $which covers our round trip travel and fuel ( the bare minimum for two hours labor would have been $252.00). You were also explained that the hourly rate is only for the labor portion of our service; and that if you required packing services (Which you did require) the other charge would be a supply charge for the materials used. We are only asking that you pay for the labor that was performed and the materials that were used to pack up your belongings, this is only fair. Also enclosed are the contracts that you signed where it clearly states the terms, condition and pricing structure of our services. Currently you have an outstanding balance of $890.00, we can work with you and try to reduce the total amount due in an effort to get closure on this bill. However, prolonging the situation and putting out statement will only make matters worst. We are prepared to reduce your bill by 50% in an effort to have closure to this matter; that would put your bill at $If this is something that you would like to work out please let us know. The credit has already been processed however, it typically takes anywhere from to business days for the issuing bank to complete the process.Also, a claim form has been mailed to the customers homes, if she has not received it, she will need to call our office to ensure that there is no

I called them and gave them the information again even though if you read the original complaint they have had it all along. Was told that their operations manager was off until the 18thThis is the same guy who has no called no showed on one appointment , has told me the check was in the mail on more than occasions and hasn't called me back when he said he would on at least occasionsI really feel the need to deal with someone with more credibility then him like his supervisor.Attached are the pictures taken at the time of the damage to my refrigerator after they put the doors back on.Once again I haven't been contacted by anyone from the company.Thank You*** ***

They have not agreed to pieces of furnitureThey are liars and have not excepted responsibility for the floorMy mom is and I 100% did not push chairs carelessly around my tableThey dropped my table and ruined numerous pieces of furnitureThey got mattresses dirty and a couchThey even tried to not tell me about the dinning room table until I saw the damage and called them to come backThe lead guy would not stay until I could finish going around the whole house for damageI called him to come back as they were driving down the road and he refusedThey still haven't put my sons crib back together properlyThey made an appointment and no showedThey are not sorry and have blown me off for weeksThe initial contract was for 798$ and magically was the day of serviceThey would not unload my furniture until they were paid the So they basically held my furniture hostage my hands were tied obviously they got paidNo I do not except there offer it is an insultThey need to have better costumer service and fix my floor and do whats rightYes the cents per lb is in the contract the table is and ruined so you would think they could be a little more remorseful they did drop it

We spoke with Ms*** regarding
her concerns about her moveWe originally offered Ms*** a man crew for
$per hourMs*** declined our offer and requested specifically only
moversWhen our movers arrived to her home, this is a 3-bedroom, bathroom
house, 2,square
feet fully furnished.
When Ms*** called our office to discuss the refrigerator, washer and
dryer not having been moved - she failed to disclose that the items were still
hooked upIt is company policy that our movers do not un-install any plumping
or electrical due to liability and insurance purposesWe did offer to come
back out on a third day and move these three appliances complimentaryWhen Ms
*** called our office to schedule this, she told our Sales Manager that the
appliances had been un-hooked and our men could come back outWhen our
dispatcher called to confirm her schedule time, she advised dispatch that the
appliances needed to be un-installed by our movers the following dayOur
dispatcher advised Ms*** on three separate phone calls from her, that we
are not able to un-install any appliancesHer integrity was questioned at this
period, because we fired a mover who had advised us that these appliances where
in deed hooked up, and the customer told our Sales Manager on the phone during
day of her move, that the mover had been lying and that these appliances were
un-hooked
On day 2, the movers were working
at Ms***’s home for hoursWhen Ms*** brought up the concern
regarding damaged furniture, we mutually agreed to credit her hours of
time on the second day, a total credit of $316.
Prior to this claim arising, with regard to the appliances, Ms*** stated
that our movers were "working diligently" and are "friendly and
professional." We believe in good faith that our business made every
reasonable attempt to resolve this concern with Ms***

I would like to clarify why we did not want them to reassemble the refridgerator.The movers did not heed our warnings to take off the doors or measure the existsInstead, they got and running start and tried to force the refrigerator through the narrow space between the cabinets and the kitchen islandDuring this processWe have over scratches to the sides and two noticeably large dents to the refrigerator doors.They also cut the water line to the ice dispenser in the door as they claimed to have never moved a refrigerator before and did not know to simply depress the connectorWe knew we would need to repair the damage before reassembling the fridge.This moving company claimed to have experienced movers who knew how to move a fridgeThis was obviously not the case.They also scratched and chipped our dressers and caused irreparable damage to our marble top furniture
