My father does not use foul language and did not call and use foul languageThe review was provided under coercion to reduce the exorbitant price of the move that they knew would be incurredI was expecting about a 2-hour move and to pay around $at the most in accordance with the moving quote I had receivedLater after another box was dropped *** told me if I completed a really glowing review on *** before the movers finished he would deduct $off my billI feel that a glowing review should not be coerced before the job has been completedI feel used, abused and duped by A and C Brothers MovingI feel more credit should be given than $dollars since I and my children had to help offload the truck when we should have had toI have used different moving companies in the past who moved a bedroom square foot house full of furniture and boxes and did not take all day to load and unloadI also did not have to help unload the truck

This company has gone past 'pants on fire' and is steaming straight toward 'pathological' with their casual affiliation with the truth Nobody ever told anyone in my house they couldn't move the couch upstairs That sounds a bit more like employees trying to cover up for their screw up after-the-fact Not to mention, this is the third time their organization has referenced sending a 'settlement form.' One has yet to materialize and my fear is that they'll low-ball me for having stated my problems to a higher authority. If they had warned us of the perils of moving the couch upstairs wouldn't someone (two people with advanced degrees or, perhaps, the 'professional' moving men) have taken steps to put blankets over the half-walls/railings out of which they took chunks of wall? Problems not addressed in their response include: the chipped tile and grout, the dresser I had to repair, the fact that they sent Christian out a second time (even though 'they try to accommodate customer requests' and I asked for him not to be at the delivery), not getting an itemized bill, et al. And, should it be acceptable that a firm with a set delivery date shirks its responsibility to deliver on that date without proper compensation? Why does an emergency (at best, failure to plan) on their part constitute a problem on my end? Waiting by the mail for several more weeks does not work for me Every real company has the ability to scan and attach to email I do not feel comfortable being left a victim to their continued procrastination If they will not overnight (with tracking), or email, the document, why should I hang any hopes on this issue ever getting resolved? There is not record of a hour break, at the time that the bill was collected you also never disputed the bill at that time and point or mentioned anythingabout a break. The signed contract your initials on the start time and stop time. There is not documentation from you on the contract the states they took anhour break. We are taking responsibility for the 2 pieces of furniture that you are claiming on the claim form (attached document items 1 and 2) that you submitted.  Once again our contractual liability is based on $0.60 per pound.   The claims department has made you a settlement offer based on the weight of both items.  However we cannot take responsibility for a damage that our movers did not do, as I reiterate we do not take responsibility for the damage that you and your mom did to the floors while trying to drag the chairs. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact our office Thank You, A&C Brothers Moving###-###-####

Mr. C[redacted] our services are based on an hourly rate, the contract that you signed clearly states that, we do not flat rate work.  We have a 2 hour labor minimum with a 1 time travel fee.  You only paid for the amount of hours that my men worked. On the phone this was explained to you...

as well, we give you a best guess scenario in terms of how long we think the job may take however, if there is more to be done obviously it will take longer to complete the job. Mr. Lo[redacted] must have me confused with another client as I am a single woman and have no husband.I'm not sure how Mr. [redacted] can justify any of his comments because he has not once tried to meet with me to discuss this situation.  He was not at my apartment when I moved in.  Mr. [redacted] has refused to acknowledge that his crew made a mistake.  He believes that by ignoring me as his customer, maybe this problem will go away.  As a business owner, I would have expected that he at least meet me face-to-face or communicate with me to try to work something out.  Instead, he has chosen to blame me.  This is not only inappropriate, but unacceptable.  Every piece of furniture was protected and wrapped individually with the appropriate UHaul Mover's Stretch Plastic Wrap of 80 gauge thickness.  As explained in the original complaint, this couch comes apart, the two backs from the two seats (chaise).  Each of these pieces were tripled wrapped individually as you can see in the photo taken with the green plastic.  In order to protect each piece, the leather was packed facing each other and corrugated shipping cardboard boxes were placed between them and the other items in the trailer.  As I have stated before, this is a new piece of furniture that I am still paying for.  I have submitted the cost estimate to replace only the side that was damaged.  I would like to be reimbursed for that side only so that I may order the replacement please.   ps.  I've attached the photo, that I inadvertently omitted during the initial complaint, of the damaged wall. Respectfully,Melissa S[redacted]

I have never been able to speak to anyone when I called about this issue I was always told the person I need to speak with will call me back and I never got a call vack. Then I also have a receipt that was given to me with a.final price diffrent from the 43$ that they say I now owe which I can provide. I have not once talked to anyone nor did I know about the additional fees that I was charged. I just want the fees waived and the furniture lifted of my plugs and my dresser corrected where they broke the original back peices and replaced with some discolored wood pieces.

Mr. C[redacted], It was  clearly explained to you that our services were based on an hourly rate not a flat rate amount, the phone quote is just a guestimate based on the phone conversation.  You never spoke to our company about havingt an on site survey, you must be confusing our company with someone else.  However, even if we had gone to do an on site survey our pricing structure is still based on an hourly rate.  We have a signed contract where you agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract.  I do apologize your move took longer however when you have a full truck of furniture it is most certainly going to take longer. Based on the inventory you provided the truck should only have been half full this was not the case.If you have any further questions please contact our office. Thank You, A&C Brothers Moving & Storage###-###-####

The 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and now the 12th of Sept 2017 has passed and still no check I have been left no choice but to file a claim in court. Gerald R. N[redacted]

Once again our pricing structure is based on an hourly rate not flat rate, therefore there is still a balance left of $43.00.  We have tried to contact the customer multiple times however are unable to reach her.  The last time we called the phone number on file we spoke with her daughter who was aware of the situation and the balance that is owed.  We can most certainly schedule a time to move the beds away from the plugs.  However the customer must call in to schedule an appointment.  Also there is still a pending balance of $43.00. If you have any other questions please contact our office ###-###-####

[redacted] did initially state "we'll send the check this week" when he finally called - but now why is it required I have to sign paperwork? Moreover, I have to fight to get back money owed to me? We do apologize that you are unsatisfied with the service that was provided our claims department has finalized your settlement claim regarding the damaged claim.  After reviewing your claim form, we have settled for the two damaged pieces of furniture that have been outlined.  As you are...

aware based on our contractual obligations the settlement is based off a weight valuation.  In addition we also sent you additional documentation for your review a copy of the contract.  Also an itemized list of furniture that had current damage before our company handled it.  Also, we dispute the fact that you indicate that our movers damaged your hardwood flooring.  This is not the case as it not what they have indicated, however they did indicate that yourself and your mother were arranging/dragging the chairs therefore causing damage to the floors.  Therefore we do not take responsibility for the damaged floors.  Based on the service agreement our services are based on an hourly rate there is a cost breakdown of all of your charges and are clear. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact our office. Thank You, A&C Brothers Moving###-###-####

the only cost conveyed to me was $250.00 via Mitchel K[redacted] via a phone text. No other fees accompanied that message. At no time was it disclosed that I would not be able to obtain my clothes, if that was known I would of had the PI obtain them. To this date we have only received lies, threats and forged documents trying to explain their behavior. They refuse to send us the original documents and a copy of lease agreements, and any terms. This company is known for the bait and switch tactics, I am not the only person they have done this too. See other reviews via Yelp. In addition, my signature appears on a form stating at what time the movers arrived on the 29th, I wasn't there, only the PI waa present. As another item, on their forged documents, paragraph 4 clearly states" that the company will not offload the contents unless Paid In Full" so via these documents (forged or not) this acknowledgement must mean that they were in fact Paid in full). Another note, L[redacted] stated that he was/has been/or now is contact with Beverly G[redacted] has stolen money, coins, art, other various items and my pets, we are unable to ascertain the extent of this theft because l[redacted] and his company are now co-conspirators and will be trated as such. They must remember that we have video and audio of this move. L[redacted] stated "Get an attorney and we will deliver the original documents. This L[redacted] has 0 integrity, and we have unequivocal proof of there efforts to harm me in cooperation with. G[redacted].

We are sorry for your frustration however, that is part of the claim process, the claim form has been mailed out to you once your receive it please fill out completely.  If you do not fill out completely it may be returned to you statingthat it needs to be completely filled out.  Once filled out please mail it back to claims connections and they will review the information and provide you with a settlement offer. Thank you for your patience and understanding A&C Brothers Moving & Storage

YOU SIR ARE NOT BEING HONEST AT ALL AND NEITHER HAVE YOU BEEN SINCE THIS BEGAN.  i TOLD YOU UP FRONT I NEEDED SOMEONE TO COME OUT AND PROVIDE ME WITH A WRITTEN QUOTE BECAUSE I WOULD ONLY PAY WHAT WAS QUOTED AND YOU INSISTED ON TAKING A ROOM BY ROOM INVENTORY OVER THE PHONE.  i EVEN EMAILED YOU BACK A DAY AFTER YOUR EMAILED QUOTE TO TELL YOU WE HAD DECIDED TO TAKE THE DESK AND ASKED IF THAT WOULD CHANGE MY QUOTE ANY, AS EVIDENCED BY OUR EMAIL EXCHANGE ATTACHED.  I AGAIN TOLD YOU I WAS NOT ONE TO PAY MORE THAN QUOTED.  I EVEN TRIED CALLING TO TELL YOU YOUR GUYS WERE TAKING LONGER THAN YOU QUOTED AND YOUDID NOT TAKE MY CALL AND I FOLLOWED THAT UP WITH AN EMAIL, AS EVIDENCED BY THE EMAIL ATTACHED.  YOU NEGLECTED TO CALL ME BACK AND INSTEAD CALLED YOUR GUYS ON SITE AND TOLD THEM TO HOLD MY FURNISHING ON THE TRUCK UNTIL I PAID AND THEN AFTER THAT YOU EMAILED ME YOUR EXPLANATION AS ATTACHED. I WOULD LIKE $516 RETURNED TO ME OTHERWISE I WILL TAKE OTHER ACTION AND GO AS FAR AS HAVING MY CREDIT CARD COMPLANY NOT PAY YOUR BILL AT ALL AND WE CAN GO TO IN FRONT OF A JUDGE AND EXPLAIN MATTERS. JOE C[redacted]
