On 1/19/16, Ms [redacted] purchased tickets to see AC/DC on 3/8/On the date of the event, the artist postponed the eventOn 6/1/16, the new date of 9/1/was set by the artist and we contacted Ms [redacted] to inform her of this new dateShe has since indicated that she will no longer be able to attendIt should be noted that, per the terms and conditions that Ms [redacted] agreed to prior to checking out, she is not due to receive a refund for this event that has been rescheduled and not cancelled.As a secondary marketplace, Vivid Seats is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holdersBecause customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industryThis policy was described in detail in the Vivid Seats Sales Terms and Conditions (www.vividseats.com/terms.html) and during checkout, where the following message was displayed directly above the box that Ms [redacted] clicked to authorize the purchase: “To complete your order, you must agree to the Vivid Seats sales terms and conditions and confirm that you are aware that you may be paying above face value for your ticketsAll prices in US DollarsAll sales are final.”Ms [redacted] 's tickets were sent to her by email moments after she completed her purchase on 1/19/16, and she has downloaded them since that timeWe have attempted to contact Ms [redacted] in an effort to provide a resolution to this matter that would be amicable to both partiesHowever, we have been unsuccessful in reaching herOur management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms [redacted] may have; as it presently stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Vivid Seats

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attentionAt Vivid Seats, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms [redacted] ’s concernsIt should be noted that Vivid Seats is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” On 1/21/16, Ms [redacted] purchased tickets to see *** on 3/23/This event was later rescheduled by the artist and/or venue for 9/4/On 3/7/16, we contacted Ms [redacted] to inform her of this date changeShe has since indicated that she would no longer be able to attend, to which it should be noted that Ms [redacted] is not due to receive a refund for this rescheduled event per the policy agreed to prior to checkoutAs stated in the Sales Terms and Conditions to which Ms [redacted] agreed, "If an event is canceled, you will be given a full refundIf an event is postponed or rescheduled, and the original tickets are valid for entry at the time of the rescheduled event, your order will not qualify for a refund." Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”Ms [redacted] 's valid, authentic tickets were delivered to her by email moments after she submitted her order, and she has since downloaded themThe tickets remained valid for entry to the rescheduled date of the eventTherefore, Vivid Seats has acted in full accordance with our 100% Buyer GuaranteeIt should also be noted that in addition to this current claim, Ms [redacted] has filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transactionDue to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter at this time, and encourage Ms [redacted] to follow up with her financial institution with any questions regarding the outcome of the disputeAt this time, we consider this matter resolved.Regards,Vivid Seats

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Gregory [redacted] Sorry for your response....like stated on my iPad charges were much lower than final charges and also got charged overnite fees that were bogus...tried to call vivid seats right after charges were discovered at 9:but was hung up on...also delivery date was to far in advance...tickets did not come overnite...you broke the contract.contacted credit card and discussed with them that vivid seats was scamming and they said they knew all about vivid seats...they can work it out with the bank

Revdex.com: I'd like to say that I could not be more satisfied with the way I was treated my the management when I finally got to one, however dealing with the customer service team is not a battle I would ever want to undertake again Vivid seats states that their website is "user driven" but to my estimation it is not user friendlyI have ordered many an item online before and not encounter this sort of shenanigans After over complaints this year about Vivid seats, and many with the same complaint as mine, you would think that they would monitor and be proactive in solving their obvious IS difficulties I believe it to be an inaccurate statement that there ever was "indepth order summary that displayed the quantity and prices of tickets..."
