I was very skeptic initially with using VTCS, and at the end of my claim I wish I had went with my gut and avoided this businessI will confirm that yes, they are a real business and they do provide a serviceRandy is an excellent salesman and will tell you everything you want to hear and will put together a nice report for youOnce my report was complete and sent to the insurance company they increased their offer by about $after they had their own appraiser evaluate my car for less than half the amount Randy chargesI paid Randy $while *** hired *** for $Randy estimated my appraisal to be at around $while *** appraised it to be at $I left Randy voicemails and an email to discuss what his game plan would be in court as I'm a police officer and spend a decent amount of time in court and understand the preponderance of the evidence required to win civil casesAgain, never heard a word from Randy after he completed the inspection of my vehicleThe admin assistant, Debbie, did return my email that was also addressed to her and she advised me that Randy had experienced a death in the familyI guess over a month of waiting for Randy to respond to my email or voicemails he couldn't send me the email or return a phone call to me after I spent more than double the amount the insurance company paid for their appraisalVery, very poor service in my opinionStill never received an apology from Randy, if I could do things differently I would have gone with my gut and researched what other companies charged and realized that Randy is a great salesman and is looking for money

I contacted Randy and his company to get an independent appraisal of my vehicle for filing a claim against a *** member who hit my car at a red light
Randy promptly showed up, billed me $***, and wrote up a report on a basemodel version of my car and did not note the factory options (roughly $**k USD) and aftermarket upgrades (roughly $**k)
*** responded that the report was incomplete and inaccurate I asked Randy and his company to address the issue as well as provide an accurate report over a month ago
He then routinely refuses to answer or respond to emails or phone calls and emails
I want a full refund

I feel that the only thing this company does is submit paperwork which cost a lot of money to insurance company but when insurance sent your amount you are left trying to solve the problem ,so I feel I just paid for them to submit paperwork which I provide to them in the first place, before payment was paid Mr Randy was always available, after payment he was very hard to contact, then I had to pay for warrant of debt which should be include in money I paid, all I can say is I pray much success with this company, God will work everything out for his good

I used VTC Services to file a DIV Claim #*** due to a car accident I was in on 01-30-I paid $1,to them in three different installments via personal check to file this claim on my behalfThe final installment was paid on 3-7-in the amount of $on CK#*** On 3-I requested a status on the DIV Claim as they had eagerly cashed my check but I hadn't received anything on the claim being filedIn a response email from Debbie at VTC Services, she claimed I would receive my audited claim within 1-daysFinally, days later on 3-after another request on an update, she emails me the DIV Claim and says its been mailed out via USPS CertifiedThe actual claim was not mailed out via USPS until 3-so that was informationKeep in mind, it had been almost a month since they cashed in my final payment installment for thisFast forward to May 4th once I forward them the initial offer from the Insurance company; Debbie at VTC Services responds stating they

Gained services by misrepresenting his court record and was nowhere to be found when it was time to go to court so I had to settle for far less than he made me believe I was entitled to*** *** is just a salesmanHe may be an "expert" at what he does, but he only gains your trust by knocking the other guy down and building himself up so you think you are getting the best with himSo don't waste your money on this guy

Please Note: On May 25, I phoned *** with Revdex.com and advised her that I had requested an
internal audit of this complaintEmily then advised me she would note this complaint of my initial response.Note: This client has been involved in a previous unrelated accident with same vehicle and used our service successfully on that occasion too
On February 01, subject client contacted me personally and directly on my cell phone (client had used our service successfully in the past and understood our Diminished Value processing procedures)On her second request to use our service she hired us based from our phone conversation on the same day of 02/01/I advised subject client that we would honor her previous rates although her vehicle had sustained previous unrelated damages and usually to integrate previous claims this results in additional charges therefore I agreed to clients requests to allow her to make three installment payments and agreed to reduce her rates to honor her previous rates that she had paid on a separate unrelated case which settled after submitting our claim.
Note: Client had no offers on her Diminished Value Claim/s prior to retaining our service and after both claims were submittedNote, this is typical of the insurance companies to not mention Diminished Value Claims as it still remains one of the world’s largest kept secrets in the vehicular claims business.
On March 7, I performed the final inspection after the repairs were completed and determined the vehicle to be repaired to industry standards on March 30, We submitted subject claim and confirmed the insurance company signed and received it on 04/05/At this point our services were considered rendered in full and as always we assist our clients for free in reaching a settlementOn the first claim Ms*** was offered and settled for more than $4,On the second claim once again after the insurance company received our claim packet they made a first offer of $*** and then a second offer of $***It was then Ms*** began complainingI made several unsuccessful attempts to contact Ms*** through her same number I’ve contacted many times on both claimsPrior to and on May 19, I learned Ms*** no longer used the same cell phone number and had not advised me of the phone changeI further contacted my staff and advised that they request that MsStalling contact me directly and she declined
After performing another internal audit our records show in both cases subject client was made no offers for Diminished Value whatsoever until she hired and pre-paid for our service as all clients doFurther both claims that we submitted resulted in multiple offers and totaled more than $6,Ms*** gained over $*** and then stated our service was no good
As both of our quotes show (see attached) our services were rendered in full as agreed each time the claims were submittedIt does take a team effort in reaching a fair settlementAlmost always no offers are made until we submit our claim/sIt is up to our clients to agree on the final settlement amountMs*** stopped communicating with me and changed her phone number without advising me
I met Ms*** personally on four different occasions and provided her with my personal contact information each time, or confirmed thereofI concluded after Ms*** obtained more than $6,in Diminished Value offersIt was then she decided our service was no longer good and began cursing my staff through email/s (see attached)
In conclusion after conducting a thorough audit I discovered our services were rendered each time as agreed and as the pre-quotes show (see attached)
After claim processing and submission we offer for free, our assistance with settling and negotiating claimsIt appears Ms*** reached a satisfactory amount of more than $*** and then asked for a refundI am available and look forward answering any additional questions regarding this complaint.
Ms*** and I personally communicated throughout the course of both her claims solely through our cell phonesFurther Ms*** never advised me of having her number disconnectedShe was aware that I am in the field most of the time and travel throughout the entire state of Virginia

I had randy baker do an appraisal on a race car for a divorce case, although lawyers on both sides of this case suggested that the appraisal was incomplete lacking some photos and parts for this car, my complaint isn't with the appraisal its with the payment for him to come to court and testify.in December of I paid randy baker $*** to show up to court a to testify in February but within a couple of weeks we settled out of court.I immediately called randy and to my surprise he answered the phone.I told him we had settled the case and he would not need to come to court and asked him about a refund of the $***at that time, he said I would be due a refund but he needed to get back to his office and look over his paper work and would be in contact with me.I have made several phone calls and left him voice messages with no response.its now Aug and still no response

In Feb 2018, we hired Randy B***, of VTC to provide a diminished value claim on my husband's vehicleWhen he arrived at our house, we mentioned that my vehicle was involved in a minor hit and run accident the week prior to meeting with him He assured us that my vehicle would be found to have diminished value as well since it was a reported accidentHe assured us that he had been in this business for more than years and most insurance companies were familiar with him He also stated that he would help 'fight to get the maximum diminished value' Unfortunately, after he received our payment, we received little to no help from him or his companyIn March, when we initially reached out to the company for help, we were told to escalate our concerns to the insurance company supervisor & to let VTC know if we wanted to do a way telecon We later called & sent e-mails and when we failed to get a response, I texted him on May 2ndHe responded May 7th, We tried to call aga

In I hired Randy B*** with Virginia’s Transportation Claims Service to review my automobiles diminished value claim after my wife was involved in a rear end collisionHowever, prior to the report being done or transfer of funds I mentioned the car was a leased vehicle and he stated the following and I quote “it doesn’t matter in the state of Virginia that it is a leased vehicle, you are the owner and due the diminished value”He proceeded with the report and we went through all the procedures of filing a warrant in debt and a brief court appearance that was dismissed due to a technicalityAfter that the insurances attorney contacted me and wanted to settleDuring my discussion with the attorney he noted the monies from the diminished value would be surrendered to the financial institute that held the lease contract
I at that point contacted MrB*** and again mentioned, which I must say I have several emails and text messages during our process clearly identifying it was

My vehicle sustained flood damage and months prior was involved in a collision of which both times I was not at faultPrior to hiring VTC Services, my insurance company suggested and drafted a repair report in the amount of $*** to repair my flood damaged vehicleI found Randy via *** and reached out to him regarding my situationMeB*** spent hours answering all of my questions, speaking to my boyfriend and walking us through what to expect in the future processMrB*** was never pushy and remained completely transparentAfter extended discussion I ultimately hired MrB*** of VTC ServicesOnce retained, he dissected the situation further discovered I was owed a $*** Diminished Value Claim from a previous unrelated accident from months priorTurns out the same insurance company owed me for the Diminished Value ClaimAfter having MrB*** inspect my vehicle and submit a report to the insurance company and after the insurance company drafted a total of repair estimates, they agreed to Total Loss my vehicle which had a value close to $***After hiring MrB*** of VTC Services and after his inspection and claim submission, the insurance companies’ orig $*** repair estimate increased to almost $*** which totaled my vehicleIt’s scary to think they wanted to repair my flood damaged vehicle for $*** when damages actually exceeded above $*** ultimately seeming the vehicle a total lossThe insurance company never advised me about Diminished Value in the accident that occurred months prior but in the end after the flood damage and MrB***/VTC Services assistance, they ultimately agreed to essentially the same figures in the VTC Services reportI would recommend VTC Services to anyone that’s involved in an accident that’s not at faultWithout their assistance in this matter, the insurance company would have made a cheap repair to my vehicle and got away without paying me for the Diminished Value Claim from the previous accidentMrB*** is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, fair and professional

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The response has only repeated what I have already mentioned in my complaint*** basically refused to deal with this company, they did not accept the report that was prepared by themThe company did offer me a free assistance, they actually advised me to take legal action against ***! How kind of them! If there is any business or legal issues between the two companies, this have to be resolved apart from their customersI hereby ask to get a full refund of the amount I paid, this will only resolve my complaint
Regards,
*** ***

I would like to thank Randy for his help in my total loss claim He provided the insurance company with a detailed report with comparable values of my car The insurance company at first gave me a low-ball value for my car Once Randy's report reached the appropriate claim's adjuster, He reviewed the thorough report and settled immediately based on Randy's evaluation of my car The adjuster said his company should have done a better job He even covered the expense of Randy's appraisal.fee

My story with VTC is about as black and white as you can getThe good news is the outcome was just that, black and whiteIn the fall of my *** *** was parked to pump gasAs I was pumping an individual backed his car into my car enough to put over $*** in damages on my drivers side doorI did my own research and found VTC through an inquiryI decided to follow up with a diminutive loss claim a month later and the process beganRandy did an excellent job explaining what to do next along the way without it being a complete egg huntI initially was offered $*** by the at fault partyI spoke with Randy and he advised to push furtherWe had to wait through the winter and eventually picked up in January I submitted his paperwork in the form of an official claim to the at fault partyThey did not reply with an offer, so I went to the court and at that point they offered $***With the court date set for summer I began a discussion with the at fault party for the loss which was estimated at around $***I did make a mistake along the way and not get a lawyer, however, it is unrealistic to take a lawyer into small claimsI was given a final offer for approximately $*** a week before the court caseGoing into court we thought we had it, although I sensed the at fault would be bringing additional lawyersHad I brought a lawyer I likely would of won the case, as it ended up being tabled into an appealRandy is good, almost too goodIf you pick him up, look into a lawyer, but only after you pick him upI settled a week after the court case for $***Randy did everything right and even though it was my first time going through something like this, I felt in controlI would definitely go through him again for a diminutive claim

I was in a car accident in September (my vehicle was only a year old - still new! & the accident was the other party's fault); so a friend recommended I speak to Randy at VTC Services about filing a diminished value claim and taking this to court to recoup the lost value of my vehicle after the accidentNot having been through something like this or even being aware this was such a thing I decided to call RandyHe was extremely professional, thorough, knowledgeable and talked me through every single step of the wayI paid for his services to inspect my vehicle and study my vehicle to create a diminished value report for me to take to courtWe went to general district court and the judge awarded the full diminished value amount in my favor; however, the insurance company appealed as they did not agree on the amount of diminished value (of course they didn't, they wanted to lowball it)We just successfully went through circuit court (round after the appeal) and I won again, the FULL DV amount!
I won because Randy is an EXPERTHis testimony was absolutely crucial, and his knowledge is pricelessThe other "expert witness" (appraiser) had nothing on Randy's expertiseI can't tell you enough how much Randy's knowledge, testimony, professionalism and persistence won this case for meIf you've been in an accident and your vehicle has lost value I highly advise you get Randy on YOUR SIDEHe's top notch and I give VTC Services my absolute highest reviewVery satisfied with his servicesI cannot thank you enough, Randy!

Randy B*** and his staff are extremely professionalThe report he supplied was complete and accurateUsing this report, I was able to obtain a fair outcome with my claim
