My complaint is best addressed to Safeway corporate, but I did not know which location was correct, so I chose the firstSafeway has recently been sending me promotional emails about various sales and opportunitiesI did not request these to be sentI contacted Safeway to request the cessation of these promotional emailsThey indicated that they could not, as a result of me not being a member of their frequent shopper programIt appears as though another person erroneously put in my email address when signing up for their program and since I do not have access to this person's account, I can't change the permissions and neither can SafewayI suggested that Safeway contact the person via alternative means to get him to correct his email address, or alternatively to simply modify the accounts preferences to turn off the promotional emails, but neither suggestion was takenMy thought was that since the intended recipient isn't receiving the promotional material, then no harm would

As a customer with my year old son, I witnessed and felt intimidated by a *** manager (***) who shouted across the deli and isle to an employee that was helping meIn a dominating and aggressive manner, *** crossed his arms and thrust out his chest when he shouted "what, we make customers get their own bread bowls now." A nearby employee shushed him in reaction to his outburstThis manager maintained his dominating body language and stared at the deli employees until my transaction was finishedI have never seen a manager belittle an employee by bullying them in front of customersHis behavior was nefarious enough to warrant termination and legal ramifications by the female employee he was harassingWe teach our children to not bullyClearly, *** management needs the same lessonBullying employees is intolerable--especially in front of customers!
