Unfortunately, on June 7, 2018, I purchased a $*** *** *** Mattress and Bedroom Furniture which included Dresser, Bed Frame, Headboard and Footboard with drawer set, totaling over $ The mattress alone was a separate cost at $plus tax ($1200) and after years of being a loyal *** Furniture customer buying *** * *** FIRM Mattresses, I decided to give Ashley Furniture Home Store a try to my disappointment for Rachel, the sales rep at the Golden Gate Bl, Mayfield Heights, OH location provided information of the quality of the mattress sold to me She stated the *** *** *** is a MEDIUM FIRM and of far greater quality in comfort than a FIRM, but when the mattress arrived, it didn't have the same feel and was NOT A MEDIUM FIRM, but a SOFT, PLUSH and SUNKEN mattress as if it's a USED PRODUCT In addition, the labeling on the mattress only listed SKU numbers, and when I spoke with Ashley representatives, they stated the mattres

I purchased a Leather rocker recliner from Ashley Furniture in Mentor, OhioIt was delivered last Saturday without the arms, rescheduled for today, April The delivery men did not even know why they had come, another afternoon spent waitingI was told they would call and give me a possible monetary compensationI decided to just ask to return the chairI was told they would not take the chair back, per the manufacturer, something I was never told at purchase timeI have not even sat in the chairI could return the chair only if I would purchase a similar amount productI now am stuck with this chair, waiting another weeks for the arms for a chair I really don't want now

I purchased a mattress from the store and also a warranty for the product as well The mattress has a roughly inch indent and also a inch lump in the middle of the mattress I was told since there is no tag on the mattress there is nothing that can be done (no tag was ever on the mattress when it was received by me)

I purchased a metal coffee table matching end table which were delivered at the end of September of The delivery people took photos and had me sign off to prove that they were delivered to my home I noticed a gauge in the metal surface a week later when I was cleaning the table I had originally thought it was a part of the design of the table which has a rustic/distressed look to it Upon further inspection, however, I realized that it was indented and showing the bare metal unlike the other distress marks which appear to be printed into the surface of the table
I went into the Orchard Park store to see if anything could be done to remedy the issue A friendly sales person approached me when I entered the showroom, but when I told her about my issue, her tone changed from friendly to disinterested She advised me to see someone at the counter
I went to the counter and the representative informed me that I had a year warranty on my table He gave me a card wit

Please notify her the chair has been picked up, waiting on refund, and Ashley Furniture told me they contacted the repair companies involved so I thought it was all doneI even received three letters from the Revdex.com stating my complaint was closed! Thank you for your help

Dear ***This letter is in response to the above referenced complaint filed by Ms*** *** concerning furniture purchased at our Ashley HomeStore. After reviewing the customer’s additional concerns, I escalated her request to our senior management team. We reviewed her order history explained in detail below and have found we have gone above what is required to care for her concerns and are no longer able to service her product concernsWe invite mediation from the Bureau if an additional response is required.Ms***’s customer service history: On 8/10/13, Ms*** purchased a sofa, loveseat and ottoman on from the Henrietta, NY Ashley HomeStore These items were labeled and priced as clearance, with a considerable discount. She also purchased a matching chair at the everyday retail price. Clearance product is sold ‘as is’ without any warranties, returns or exchangesThe chair, purchased at the regular price, comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defectsThis is a standard manufacturer’s warranty within the furniture industryMs*** also purchased the furniture protection plan which covers all accidental damage to the furniture within the first years of owning the products Attached is a list of coverages for reference from the furniture protection planOn 4/14/14, Ms*** notified us that cushions on the sofa, loveseat and chair were cavingThe one-year warranty had lapsed, however; as a courtesy, we reordered new cushions for the customer at no chargeOn 7/16/14, the customer called stating that the ottoman cushion is slipping off the top and the cushions are flattening again. We sent a technician to the customer’s home, at no cost to herThe technician reported that the cushions were flattening again, but would need to re-order seat core parts in order to fix For the second time, we sent all new cushions to the customer at no costOn 2/19/the customer called stating that the cushions are flat for the third timeWe advised the customer that we replaced the cushions twice at our expenseGiven that she purchased the items ‘as is’ on clearance and was well outside the manufacturer’s warranty on her chair, we were unable to assist her with further repair to the furnitureAt the time of this third service call, parts were no longer available as the manufacturer has discontinued the set purchased by Ms***The customer reached out to the protection company, a third-party vendor, to see if they would replace or repair her cushionsThe notified the customer that cushions flattening is considered wear on the furniture and is not covered under their protection plan. I trust that the Revdex.com will find that we did our best to care for Ms***’s cushion concerns, even though she was outside the manufacturer’s warranty and had purchased clearance “as is” merchandiseWe attempted several times to ensure Ms***’s cushions were replaced outside the manufacturer’s warranty at our own expenseWe sent a technician to the customer’s home at our own expense though the product was sold at a large discount as clearance “as is” merchandiseSince we’ve explained this to Ms*** and she insists this response is not satisfactory, we invite mediation from the Bureau to come to a resolutionSincerely, Audra D*** / Corporate Communications

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards, *** ***

We acknowledge return of the recliner to our distribution facility yesterday 01/14/15. We will dispute only the difference between the chargeback of $and the amount Mr*** has agreed to settle for $in order to close the complaint

I purchased a dinning set along with two extra chairsVery expensive, $The sales person said it would be very beneficial to purchase the extended warranty with it because any damage would be covered, so I didSadly weeks after I received my set I had a mishap, a cotton ball with nail polish remover on it rolled onto the table and instantly wore the paint off own to the woodI was so sick over itI called Ashley and they said to call the extended warranty numberSo I did, but they refused to honor their warranty because it was a chemicalThere were not stipulations when I purchased the warranty, said every thing will be coveredSo with many phone calls they agreed to send a tech to repair itWhen the tech came to my house he said it was unrepairableHe said he didn't even have the matching color, but attempted to put whatever color he had on itLooks worse nowHe said he would put an order in for a table top replacementNever happenedMade many calls and got nothing

I recently purchased a bed frame and box spring from Ashley FurnitureAfter setting up and confirming the delivery date for them (this past Tuesday the 29th), only the bed frame showed up: no box springWhen I called the warehouse the next day, they told me that it was marked as delivered but it clearly wasn'tAfter explaining this to the gentleman, he said he would go check to see what happenedFive hours later, I finally heard back from someone looking to schedule the delivery for the following weekI was initially told that Ashley delivers to my area multiple days a week; so why couldn't it be the same weekSince it was said that Tuesday is the earliest day it could be delivered, it seems like it wasn't even at the warehouse despite setting up the deliveryPlus the first worker I spoke to said it had been marked as deliveredI understand that sometimes things may happen but this has turned into a completely frustrating processWe can't sleep on our bed still because of this

We had bought a new recliner from Ashley Furniture and within months of own this recliner the frame of the back rest had split in halfI called them to let them know of the problem and Ashley Furniture said they would have a technician come out to repair the chairThe chair was repaired very poorlythey used a small block and glued it in place on one side onlyNever thought a new chair would get glued back together and be told that its show room qualityWhen does having a frame back board split in half and the whole things not being replaced seem rightI am sure if this would happen to anyone would be a concern. The technician that they send out to these jobs our a third party and he stated that the fix was to showroom standardsI'm sure if you went into their showroom and saw this you would be very concerned with the qualityThe chair still feels flimsy but they said that the technician fix it to showroom quality and hey could not do anything elseI'm not sure how Ashley Fur

Dear Sir/Maam, On 12/29/2018, my husband (*** ***) and I went to Ashley furniture to look at mattressesAfter a looking at several models, with salesperson Allison (edited for anonymity) , we settled on the Tempur Cloud Luxe King MattressWhich was tagged on the floor for $The other model we were looking at was a Tempur Pro Adapt Cloud soft King, which was tagged on the floor for $In addition to the mattress we also purchased a King frame and the Tempur adjustable frameThe salesperson, Allison, totaled up the cost at around $And we then proceeded to the kiosk to apply for financingAs luck would have it, we qualified for just that amount Allison then said she was going to put it all into their system, and then we could sign the papersIt seemed to take quite awhile for her to returnAnd we noted that she and the manager went back to the back of the store where the mattress was located Upon her return, she stated that the mattress we wanted, the

I purchased a Dining room table with the extended warranty planI had issues with discoloration on the table within a couple months, I called the warranty company and they came out took pictures of the table and ended up replacing the tableThat was in January when they swapped my table outNow not even a year later I am dealing with discoloration againI called the warranty department and they told me that I needed to purchase another warranty on this tableWell no one told me about purchasing another warranty or I would have due to the fact that my first table didn't last barely a couple monthsI think that if I spend around $for a dining room table and chairs it should last more then a year

The attached refund to Ms***'s credit card in the full amount of the original purchase was processed this afternoon*** *** Managing Partner Ashley Furniture HomeStores

The consumer called and stated the complaint is resolved

I purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture, and approximately months after purchase the couch structure did not look or feel right I called and they were going to send a repair man out, they felt it was a broken spring The first appointment was cancelled last minute, and we rescheduled In between the scheduled visit another section of the couch looked and felt different When the repair man came he said you have more issues going on than a broken spring He pulled the bottom fabric off, and it was a broken frame that was made from press board He went out to his car and took a piece of scrap wood and screwed it into the existing broken in half frame as a support I called customer service, and also went to the store They called the Corporate office in Batavia NY, and to my surprise they felt this was a permanent fix I do not feel that a couch months old should have a frame that broke in half, and I feel it should be replaced with a new couch I haven't even completed
