The complainant contracted with InventHelp® for the preparation of a Basic Information Package (BIP) report on his invention The BIP assembles basic information about an invention, idea, concept or new product and the history of its development in a report format The BIP assembles basic information about an invention using standardized marketing information as well as information which the inventor provided to us We also refer our clients to an independent patent attorney for the preparation of a Preliminary Patentability Search & Opinion The complainant has concerns with regard to his BIP In order to address these concerns, the researcher spoke directly with the complainant The complainant wanted the BIP to focus on bicycle delivery in the food and beverage industry As a result of that conversation, the researcher revised that information and provided statistics regarding bicycle delivery people The researcher also included restaurants as part of the potential markets Upon completion, we mailed the BIP directly to the complainantThe complainant also mentioned that he had some financial hardship in his conversation with the researcher and in an email to the sales representative that “ a refund would be an enormous financial relief for me at this time ” While we are sympathetic with his current financial situation, we do not agree that InventHelp should refund our fee for a service we provided While we do not agree with this complaint, simply in a good faith effort to resolve this matter, we are willing to refund the client $ Should the complainant wish to accept this offer, he should contact us Otherwise, there is nothing more we are willing to doSincerely, LARK B***Compliance Manager Tell us why here

We are responding to this complaint.Over years ago, the complainant contracted with InventHelp for assistance in submitting her invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review We prepared and submitted to industry descriptive materials about the complainant’s invention such as brochures, press releases, brief descriptions for catalogs, an invention listing published on a website reserved for companies etc We also followed up on these efforts in an attempt to obtain feedback for the inventorThe complainant’s concerns stem from her discovery of a similar product We inform our clients before, during and even after they contract with us that we are not responsible for the existence of similar concepts or products which may already be on the market or which may be introduced at a later time Nevertheless, we investigated this similar concept and found that the only common characteristic of both inventions was that each belonged in the broad category of women’s underwear items They are clearly not the same idea We spoke with the complainant in an attempt to resolve this matter and explained the above to her Furthermore, the complainant’s services were completed nearly years ago and the fact that we cancelled our INPEX Trade Show had no impact on her services whatsoever, as she did not purchase that particular service.At this time we respectfully request that your file on this complaint be closed Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.Sincerely,LARK B***Compliance Manager

We are responding to the above referenced complaint In April, the complainant contracted with our company for assistance in submitting her invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review Our records indicate that her services are being provided in accordance with her contract with us Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to the client in an attempt to resolve this matter Her concerns stem from her impression that the services were not proceeding as quickly as she anticipated and her initial dissatisfaction with her first group of written materials In our conversation with the complainant, we explained the services she purchased to clarify any confusion which existed We also clarified that occasionally our clients wish to make revisions to their materials However, we explained that upon receipt of the complainant’s revisions, we revised her materials and returned them to the complainant for her approval within ten days We investigated the companies to which we submitted the complainant’s New Product Submission Brochure, and we believe the companies to be appropriate choices for her invention Any misunderstanding regarding our follow up procedures with companies was also clarified with the complainant We spoke at length with the complainant and resolved her concerns Furthermore, she indicated that she would contact your bureau to indicate her satisfaction with our resolution Accordingly, we request that your file on this matter be closed Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention Sincerely, LARK B [redacted] Compliance Manager

The complainant contracted with our company in August, for the first stage of our services which is the preparation of a Basic Information Package (BIP) report on his invention The BIP assembles basic information about an invention and the history of its development in a report format In addition, a Preliminary Patentability Search & Opinion was conducted for the idea by a patent law firm to which InventHelp refers its clients’ patent work This work was completed and delivered to the client.The complainant’s concerns are based on his belief that the BIP would provide him with a formula and information on the “ execution of his idea” We make it very clear in our contracts and company literature that we accept most ideas and we do not determine the feasibility, make judgments about or evaluate the possible merits or drawbacks of our clients’ ideas Rather we assemble basic information about the invention and attempt to emphasize the most positive features of the idea However, upon receipt of this complaint we reached out to the complainant in a timely manner and resolved his concerns He assured us that he would contact your bureau to withdraw his complaint.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.Sincerely,LARK B***Compliance Manager

We are responding to the above referenced consumer complaint In November, the complainant contracted with our company for assistance in submitting his invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review Our records indicate that his services were performed in their entirety and completed in their entirety in Further, the complainant was pleased with the services and complimented our company on several occasions; such as, “I will check off excellent and a job well done.” “Thank you InventHelp.” “The DVD is amazing.” “Thank you for your hard work in this and appreciate your help.” We are well aware of this complainant’s concerns as we have attempted to resolve this matter over the last several months The complainant’s claims in his complaint are simply not true No one at InventHelp told him nor do our contracts state that a client can stop payment at any time with no obligations His claims regarding Universal Payment Corporation are also not true In fact, he did sign a Retail Installment Contract agreeing to make monthly payments for the services for which he contracted However, he has not upheld his contractual obligations and did not pay for the services he has received In fact, he still owes nearly $5400, most of which is past due We believe this complaint is merely an attempt by the complainant to not pay for the services which he has already received Nevertheless, the complainant has refused any offers we have made in an effort to resolve this matter

We are writing to update you on our efforts regarding this consumer complaint In October, 2014, the complainant contracted with InventHelp for our Inventor Mailing Program. This service is a personalized do-it-yourself mailing program which enables inventors to promote their
inventions on their own in the hope of locating a company that may have an interest in reviewing their inventions. We assisted the complainant by creating an Invention Brochure about his invention as well as personalized stationery, business envelopes, introductory letters, confidentiality agreements and the names of companies to which to mail his invention materials The complainant’s concerns stem from a miscommunication and misunderstanding regarding an additional Inventor Mailing Packet which we provided as a courtesy and at no additional charge to our client. We have confirmation that this additional service was delivered to the complainant via FedEX Overnight on August 31, 2016. All we have is their word, they say they won’t share MY files I’ve let them see, they say they have destroyed My files I’ve shown them or shared with them, but it seems to me that if they were telling the truth they would without hesitation sign my non-dis-closer agreement so we could do businessBut they won’tWhy? Because they have not been forthcoming and honest is my opinion.The very fact that their sales rep, lied to me on the first call, and why did they want me to have a certain website open during our phone meeting for he never had me do anything with that web page anyways, he didn’t even mention it on the call either, only sent me an email prior to our meeting for me to have the web page up for our meeting. Why? I’ll tell you what I think; they got what they wanted from me, pictures of my invention, liked it enough they were satisfied enough to call it quits and run off with my private files, and never calling me back, and he promised me he would call me back that day befoe or around 2:00pmThat’s what all the evidence points too they will try to sell my invention under their name
