I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I must say that the reason that my situation with this company was ever addressed was because the Revdex.com contacted this company, so a satisfactory solution was found.

We are writing in response to the complaint filed by the above referenced consumer. In December, 2012, the complainant contracted with InventHelp for assistance insubmitting his invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faithreview. We prepared descriptive materials about the
complainant’s invention such as brochures, press releases, brief descriptions for catalogs, creation of a Virtual Invention Presentation (a DVD video containing 3D renderings and computer generated animation of the invention with a voice over narration), the preparation of a visual representation of the invention for inclusion in the *** *** in both the and *** Trade Shows as well as inclusion to an online publicity distributionservices. In addition, the complainant’s invention is currently part of the InventHelp Virtual Trade Show, which is a secure, year round online showcase of our clients’ ideas. We submitted the complainant’s invention to companies and followed up with these companies in a further effort to obtain feedback on the invention. Furthermore, we also submitted the complainant’s invention information to even more companies beyond the standard InventHelp services in an additional effort to stimulate interest in the invention. Simultaneously, the complainant pursued a patent application on his invention which wasultimately denied by the US Patent & Trademark Office. The complainant understood that there is no guarantee that a patent will issue. That decision is up to the US Patent & Trademark Office and he acknowledged his understanding in writing that a patent can be denied at any time for any reason. Unfortunately, there are simply no guarantees. It would be unfair to refund the fee for InventHelp’s service, a service which we provided in full simply because the complainant did not get a patent. He needs to discuss these patent matters with the patent attorneys with whom he worked.Sincerely,LARK B***Compliance Manager

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** There is some misrepresentation in the response they sentThe contract was entered in May of 2013, much less than years agoThe day cancellation is not plastered over every documentAnd my complaint is based on much more than not knowing I couldn't be released from the contract at any timeI'm sure the company has the recorded phone calls of the times I called wondering what was being done on my behalfHowever, the company has reached out to me and offered a resolution that I have acceptedThey have offered to release me from the contract and delete any negative reporting to the credit bureausOnce they have completed these actions, I feel that they will have resolved the issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not  agree withthe response.  After,  I start doing research on the companies theysent my invention to I realized NONE of these companies had NOTHING to do withmy invention. They were merely creating a stall tacit to collect money for thisthird party while my invention is just sitting there and wasting time. TIME ISOF THE ESSENCE WHEN IT COMES TO INVENTION and they're process is NOT to helpthe inventor but to collect this large month fee.  Once, started to question this process the customer service IMMEDIATELY  went from good to horrible. The manager thatI tried to talk was extremely RUDE, and would NOT let me speak concerning thematter. He would CUT me off every time I tried to explain my side of thestory.  I DONT want to speak ANYONE inthat office. I WANT COMPLETE REFUND OF MY $1200.00 AND WANT TO MOVE ON WITH MYLIFE.  THANK YOU!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They were prompt in their communication, flexible in their solution and thorough in their investigation regarding my complaint.

We are responding to the above referenced consumer complaint. The complainant contracted with InventHelp® for the first stage of our services, the preparation of a Basic Information Package (BIP) report on his invention.  The BIP assembles basic information about an invention, idea,...

concept or new product and the history of its development in a report format.  The BIP report includes information already known to the inventor which they have supplied to us as well as standardized market information for the needs of inventors.  We also referred the complainant to an independent patent attorney for the preparation of a Preliminary Patentability Search & Opinion for his invention.  The total cost of these services was $975.   The complainant made a $300 down payment for the services.  However, upon receipt of his cancellation request and in accordance with our cancellation policy, InventHelp refunded $85 directly to the complainant on September 28, 2017.  The independent patent attorney refunded his fee of $215 directly to the complainant as well.   Upon receipt of this complaint we spoke with the complainant and he confirmed that he received his total refund of $300.  He also indicated that he would contact the Revdex.com to confirm his satisfaction and that his complaint has been resolved. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.   Sincerely,  LARK B[redacted]Compliance Manager Tell us why here...

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. The people from this company lie, they have spoken to me directly on the phone, told me there was nothing from their IT department that even showed me ever being on their website, but then other people from invent help stated to contact me via my personal email, guess where they got my email??

We are responding to the above referenced consumer complaint. Upon receipt of this complaint we reached out to our client in an effort to resolve her concerns.  During our discussions, we agreed to provide a contact person with whom the complainant can speak at any time.  We also...

expedited our first submission, which should be completed and confirmation will be sent to our client within the week.  It is also our understanding that our client’s independent patent attorney should be proceeding with the preparation of the client’s patent application.  We will make every effort to keep our client informed every step of the way.     We respectfully request that your file on this matter be closed.  Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. Sincerely, LARK B[redacted]Compliance Manager

We are writing to update you on our efforts regarding this complaint. We spoke again with the complainant regarding his concerns.  While we do not agree with the claims in the complaint, we nevertheless worked with the complainant and resolved his concerns.  An agreement has been sent to the complainant for his signature. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Sincerely, LARK B[redacted]Compliance Manager

We are responding to the above referenced consumer complaint.   In November, 2013 the complainant contracted with our company for assistance in submitting his invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review.  Our records indicate that his services were performed in their...

entirety and completed in their entirety in 2015.  Further, the complainant was pleased with the services and complimented our company on several occasions; such as, “I will check off excellent and a job well done.”  “Thank you InventHelp.”  “The DVD is amazing.”  “Thank you for your hard work in this and appreciate your help.”   We are well aware of this complainant’s concerns as we have attempted to resolve this matter over the last several months.  The complainant’s claims in his complaint are simply not true.  No one at InventHelp told him nor do our contracts state that a client can stop payment at any time with no obligations.  His claims regarding Universal Payment Corporation are also not true.  In fact, he did sign a Retail Installment Contract agreeing to make monthly payments for the services for which he contracted.  However, he has not upheld his contractual obligations and did not pay for the services he has received.  In fact, he still owes nearly $5400, most of which is past due.   We believe this complaint is merely an attempt by the complainant to not pay for the services which he has already received.  Nevertheless, the complainant has refused any offers we have made in an effort to resolve this matter.

We are responding to this complaint. Over three years ago, this complainant contracted with our company for assistance in submitting his invention to industry in an attempt to obtain a good faith review.  Our records indicate that his services were completed in their entirety and in a...

timely manner.  We disagree that we have not been responsive to this complainant as we have had many conversations with the complainant in an effort to resolve his concerns. The complainant’s concerns stem from his dissatisfaction with his Prototype Model as well as his Virtual Invention Presentation (VIP).  Both the Prototype Coordinator and Animator who created the materials will reach out to the complainant to discuss his specific revision requests to those materials.  We are confident that upon completion of the complainant’s revisions, he will be satisfied with his revised materials.  In addition, we agreed to include the complainant’s invention in the Virtual Invention Browsing Experience (VIBE). This year’s VIBE Exhibit will be at the Licensing Expo being held in Las Vegas in mid-May and is an upgraded service we are providing at no cost to the complainant.   Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. Sincerely, LARK B[redacted]Compliance Manager Tell us why here...

This complainant contracted with our company for assistance in submitting her invention to industry in the attempt to obtain a good faith review.  Our records indicate that her services are being performed in accordance with her contract.   The complainant’s concerns stem from her belief...

that her services were not progressing as quickly as she expected.  In our conversations with the client we discussed the services at length and explained that we have procedures and systems in place for the services to be performed for all of our inventors in an efficient and timely manner.    We are pleased that we were able to resolve the complainant’s concerns.  At this time, we respectfully request that your file on this matter be closed.

This complainant is not an InventHelp client.  He did not pay InventHelp any money nor did we provide any services.    The complainant logged on to our website requesting additional information about our company and our services.  He signed our Statement of Confidentiality...

and Non-Use as well as our Affirmative Disclosure Statement.  He also provided us with his contact information along with very limited information about his invention.    The complainant concerns stem from his belief that his invention information may have been compromised.  Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to the complainant in an attempt to resolve his concerns.  We assured the complainant that his information was safe and the Statement of Confidentiality and Non-Use remains in effect which clearly states:  “InventHelp hereby agrees that the idea, invention or product you are disclosing and which you believe to be your own original creation shall not be used, sold, assigned, or disclosed to any other person, organization, or corporation without your permission…”  Furthermore, in accordance with the complainant’s request, we permanently deleted all the information he shared with us regarding his invention.   At this time, we respectfully request that your file on this matter be closed.  Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention.

The

format.  In
addition, a Preliminary Patentability Search & Opinion was conducted for
the idea by a patent law firm to which InventHelp refers its clients’ patent
work.  This work was completed and
delivered to the client.The
complainant’s concerns are based on his belief that the BIP would provide him
with a formula and information on the “…execution of his idea”.  We make it very clear in our contracts and
company literature that we accept most ideas and we do not determine the feasibility,
make judgments about or evaluate the possible merits or drawbacks of our
clients’ ideas.  Rather we assemble basic
information about the invention and attempt to emphasize the most positive features
of the idea.  However,
upon receipt of this complaint we reached out to the complainant in a timely
manner and resolved his concerns.  He assured
us that he would contact your bureau to withdraw his complaint.Thank
you for bringing this matter to our attention.Sincerely,LARK

accordance with his contract with us. Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to the client in an attempt to resolve this matter.  We spoke numerous times with the complainant and worked together to resolve this matter.  We explained our process of submitting our clients’ inventions to industry and clarified any confusion which existed.  His concerns regarding our Client Services Department and the timing of our services were also addressed, clarified and resolved as well.  It is also our understanding, that the complainant’s utility patent application will be filed this week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.   In working with the complainant to address his concerns, we also agreed to provide additional services to him at no charge.   We believe we have successfully resolved the complainant’s concerns.  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Sincerely, LARK B[redacted]Compliance Manager
