We have made arrangements for a senior representative of BMI to come out and inspect his property once again to determine previous findings that the units are cooling/heating all the rooms to within degrees of each other

All repairs have been completed and unit is question is functioning properly Ms [redacted] is currently under the Westin warranty program and any warrantable issues that arise will be properly resolved by Westin Homes

Hi, I did an inspection on the house and sent them a list of items to fixHere’s a couple of items that are not fixed yet: Metal lintel over windows and doors – based on the inspection report they didn’t follow the building code ( [redacted] ) Rust on the furnace unit – it’s a new house (we closed on march 17-2016) and the inspector was amazed that we have already rust on the furnace and duct systemsLooks like was low or poor material usedGrading and Drainage – some areas around the house doesn’t have proper drainage Driveway with several defects on the concrete – same comment as below for the kitchen cabinetsKitchen Cabinets – this is my main issue and Westin is saying that it’s not warrantableI’ll resume the history behind: During the entire sales process including the walk through the message that we got was the same “any issue that you find on the house you always have one year of warranty”, it was the first time that we bought a house direct with a construction company and we believed on the sales and also inspection personNobody ever brought to our attention what was on the warranty or notWe did the final walk through on a cloud dayAfter we closed the house it took a while for us to moveWhen we moved and with the summer light we saw that the entire kitchen cabinets with white stains, in the inside, outside, everywhereWe contacted Westin and they brought several guys here to have a look and the comment was always the same “we’ll have a look and see what we can do”After months on this process, one of the guys came to the house saying that wasn’t their responsibility that I should look during the closeI contacted the cabinet manufacturing company [redacted] to see if was something during the production processThey came, removed all the doors to test and see what could beThey returned all the doors and blamed Westin, probably some product that they sprayed on the house that made those stainsRight now I’ve an entire kitchen that we can see stains with a bright light or summer light and Westin not taking any responsibility for it I trusted on their sales and inspection guys when we purchased the houseI had other houses before and we decided to buy a brand new to avoid any issues and I’m having more issues that I expected and loosing days of work every time that they need to book their visitsMe and my wife are strongly disappointed with this lack of customer service and responsibilityI’d understand if this was a 100K-200K house, but it was 400KNot the type of quality that we would expect Regards,Marcelo [redacted] Tell us why here

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I understand what you are saying but I have to at least be able to get my car in the drivewayThe interior looks someone threw up in the houseThe fact of the matter is, it's my money that will be paying for the house NOT YOURSAlso the fact that you basically are saying that you don't care if people are disabled concerns me as wellThis might be a case for federal court The extra wires for the pre wire is not a structural changeI am demanding you either add these wires since I was going to pay out of my personal pocket, not the builders while there was no sheetrock on the houseNot having the wires ran at this stage of building, which is not a structural change has increased the installation of the wires by several hundred dollars nowAlso when we signed the contract we were told 8-months so we booked a trip India in May for the summer since my wife is a professor and Rick is telling us that if we don't close when you all want to close that you will be charging $a dayWell I will make sure my bank knows this so they can push back on you'll.Finally I am concern that you used a canned message to reply to the Revdex.comThis again tells me what type of company you areHow you are able to keep a A+ rating with the Revdex.com is quite strange when you treat your customers the way that you do Regards,

We have been looking for a home for several months and we keep coming back to The Woodlands Hill subdivision. My wife, Andrea & I signed a contact with Westin on Saturday 7/27/2019 that had a base price of $341,990.00 plus a $10,000 incentive from the developer and a $17,000 incentive from Westin *in writing. These dollars could be used at closing to either reduce the price of the house or towards closing cost, our choice.

Andrea and I had already started discussing what upgrades did we want to add and that our final budget on upgrades should remain between $40 to $50K. Monday afternoon the Westin Salesman, David Schwartz, called and said that the deal wasn’t approved by management and he had to drop Westin’s incentive to $12,000, could I talk to the Realtor we are using to kick in some money to get us back to the $17,000.

Andrea and I talked about it and decided that if that is how they do business, then what else can we expect during a 7 or 8 month build and informed the salesman that the deal was off.

They are working on other issues that I raised but not on the one that we are not satisfied withMy major complain is the kitchen cabinet that is going between them and the manufacturer and no one is taking responsibility overAnother issue is the driveway with all the damages that they are not taking over as well.I always get the same response that is not under warranty and we should see it before we purchased the house, but the kitchen cabinet is only possible to see the stains against sunlight or a bright flashlight
