diagnostic report as required. We cannot process a claim based off what a customer is telling us and need actual proof such as a diagnostic report. If the complainant decides to take legal action we will certainly respond with the information given here accordingly. We regret the complainant was not willing to work with us and provide the documentation required in all claims.
The complainant is requesting a full refund plus added expenses due to an allgeded bad engine. The engine the complainant purchased was delivered on 10/27/2016. The complainant activated the warranty on 11/14/2016. the complainant had their warranty voided due to stating a incorrect date of...
receiving the engine as they stated the engine was delivered on 11/3. Since the complainant falsified the date on the warranty activation, no current or future claims will be approved. Per line 10 of the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: "10.Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within 10 business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOID. Falsifying information will automatically void your warranty." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php. also per line 19 of our Free Warranty: "19.Engines are tested, visually inspected and cleaned." this engine was examined and prepped at our location and it was not a "brokered" engine as the complainant is stating. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward.
We have been attempting to contact the complainant via phone and email to resolve this matter with no success. We would like to gather more information from the complainant and the mechanic as our records indicate the engine shipped match the vehicle the order was placed for. IF the...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. At the time of placement of order, the company clearly stated that the order was covered by Parts and Labor warranty. This was communicated to the VALLCO 76 SERVICE Manager Mr. [redacted] on a call that was made from his business phone[redacted] on Saturday Aug 22nd. When the defective engine was reported to the company, [redacted] the Customer Service representative restated that the second time labor will be re-unburden by them on completion of 500 miles after installation of replacement engine. The company is lying and changing its commitment to not have to pay. They are lying and have caused tremendous mental agony. Please recover the amount due as the defective engine was sent by them and was part of a scam and dis-honest practice.
Regards,

This is exactly what I am talking about. There is no professional manner, I refuse to keep arguing back and forth. I want someone from the Revdex.com to step in. This "company" or whoever they are because they are not a business, there SCAMMERS has an ALERT from the Revdex.com, that says enough! Very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional![To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After I received yet another email regarding delay in shipping, not delivery, and after reading numerous complains about this company, I decided it was not worth the hassle of dealing with them. They have not refunded my money to date, and there was no restocking charge as no engine was ever shipped or delivered. I want a refund of the entire amount of my payment. I have filed a dispute with my bank, and I expect to receive the entire amount of my payment.

Again same story. Says timing belts not covered. Nothing about timing chains. Had they told us to replace chains we would have done so. They only said belts. The timing chain is as much A Part of the year engine as Pistons, valves etc. unless repair bill is not paid by September 10th We will let judge decide.

The complainant purchased a used engine from us on 01/16/2018 and it was shipped out to them on 1/23/2018. The complainant did agree to the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty with their initial purchase of the used engine. The complainant is requesting a refund for the additional repairs the...
complainant had to do on the purchased used engine. The complainant allegedly states that extensive repairs were needed to be made. Those repairs were adjustments to the timing chain cover, new seals on the time chain cover and repairs to the valve covers. The complainant activated their Free Warranty on 03/03/2018 which is outside of the 10 day window to activate the Free Warranty. The specific sections of the Terms and Conditions state as follows: 1. Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumps. We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc 10. Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within 10 days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDED. 15. We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non replaced seals, gaskets or filters. All the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty are prominently listed here: http://used.remanns.com/warranty.php. Due to the fact the complainant did not activate the Free Warranty within the timeframe aloud, all past, current, or future claims would be denied. Due to the fact the Free Warranty was not activated in the timeframe aloud, we are unable to refund the complainant for the repair cost. We also want to state that the items the complainant repaired and requested a refund on are not covered under the Free Warranty as well. We do hope this closes the matter and please let us know if you need any further information from us.
The complainant purchased an engine from us which we sent out to him which we had to have sent back to us. We did send out the complainant another engine and they disputed the charges of the engine to their credit card company. The complainant did not feel we sent them an engine with the correct...
milage from what we sold them. Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: Line 14: "The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge." Also, per Line 6 of our Free Warranty: "Warranty does not cover initial installation." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php. We to the best of our ability sent the complainant an engine with the correct mileage stated. the complainant also stated that the engine had an oil leak, but per the terms and conditions of our Free Warranty, "Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered." Until the dispute with the complainants credit card company is completed, we will not move forward with a resolution. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward.

I know that I completed that warranty on line after the work had been done. The claimed that I should have received a confirmation after submitting my activation information, but I never did. As far as paying extra money for the warranty, technically there was not a separate costs for the warranty, but I paid a good deal of money for the engine because of the warranty. I actually could have purchased an engine here in Maryland for several hundred dollars less without a warranty, but I wanted the insurance just in case of engine failure. Now , according to SW engines I do not have anything.

The complainant is requesting a refund on the amount of $2.995 for a transmission purchased that was not delivered due to a canceled order. The complainant placed an order on 9/20/2016 and canceled the order on 10/3/2016. Our usual delivery time is between 7-14 working days but due to some unusual...
circumstances, we do ask customers to please allow additional time. This is per line 7 of the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty. [redacted] The timeframe from the order to cancel date was 9 business days. Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty, Line 3: “All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs.” [redacted] We issued a refund on 10/7/2016 but the complainant did dispute the purchase with their credit card company, and the dispute was ruled in our favor. We hope this clears up any confusion and closes this matter further.

Melissa [redacted]This company has lied about everything that they have stated to you. No money was ever sent to their client and we had to get a second engine from them. They are far from professional and treat their client with disrespectful attitudes. [redacted] towing and repair can vouch for THE company's false statement. They should not be able to get away with lying about sending the money back. It never happened. If they show proof it is false documentations. [redacted] can also prove they are lying about what they have stated and they will not return calls or speak to any of us about this issue. Please let me know if further details regarding engine and transmission world response. Even the manager won't talk to any of us. That says a lot about this company's actions or lack there if in this manner.

We already came to an agreement with Mr. [redacted], and the agreement was for him to make both transmissions available for pick up and then we will pick them up and refund him. So far we only have received one transmission back.
Revdex.com:They did not offer me 6 months part warranty

The complainant is requesting a refund due to time frame of product being shipped out. The complainant ordered their engine on 7.14.16 and called to raise issues on 7.25.16 as it hadn't shipped yet. The complainant disuputed the charges with their credit card company. Per our Free Warranty Terms...
& Conditions, Line 3: 3.All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs. https://www.swtransmissions.com/warranty.html Becuase the order was canceled and not shipped we did charge the complainant a restocking fee. The complainant originally paid $1015 and got a refund of $761.25 due to the restocking fee as the disput the complainant filed with their credit card in the end, was deemed to be in our favor. In the end the complainant got his refund minus restocking fees due to canceled order. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist in resolving this claim.
