Buyers Beware Before you purchase Jenn-Air service plan Have all Jenn-Air stainless steel appliances that were purchase years ago The microwave stopped working at full power so called Jenn-Air and signed up for service plan to cover repairs at a annual contract price of $ Was told that it would cover all repairs and if couldn't repair would refund amount Service provider came out and said it wasn't putting out at full power and had to replace control board He made operational repairs but said he had to order the stainless steel cover for the control board After months of leaving messages with provider, contacted Jenn-Air and they said it wasn't covered because it was cosmetic Now I have a microwave that looks unfinished They did not send me the "fine print" on the coverage policy until after the repairs were made This is such a scam! Also, will never buy Jenn-Air appliances again Service is *** Within the past years I have had a Jenn-Air refridgerator, microwave and dishwasher go out All were new, bought at the same years ago

I have recently had the pleasure of Natasha and the Marz plumbing crew work at my home They were recommended to me by a friend I first had a hot water heater go down and with hours she was at my home That same day I had it replaced installed in was good to go ! Her timing workmanship and dedication are second to none Her and her crew were polite punctual knowledgable and more then competitive in price A couple days later I had another unfortunate plumbing issue that needed to be dealt with swiftly Again I could rely on Natasha and her crew for being there getting the job done in a very positive timeframeI highly recommend Marz plumbing for any job big or small You will not find a better company to deal with that understands your needs and is willing to listen to make your experience a good one I will be recommending Natasha and Marz plumbing to any and everyone that needs any kind of plumbing workThank you Natasha from our entire family It is so nice to see a company that actually cares about the customer and their needs !

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from *** which was delivered on 2/23/Sometime within the first year, parts started breaking, splitting, crackingFor instance, the grill at the bottom broke offThe clips broke offThe snack pan brokeThe glass cover pan brokeEach shelf within the refrigerator has pieces chipped offI called Whirlpool to express my disappointment with this appliance and asked what could be doneI was told nothing I mentioned was under warranty and that I would have to purchase replacement parts, which I did not do Today, parts are broken which make it impossible to use the shelves
We paid $1,for this refrigeratorParts started breaking within the first yearI feel that the quality is absolutely terribleWhirlpool made absolutely no effort to help me with issueTheir final response was that they would transfer me to the parts department!

We purchased a refrigerator that lasted 1/years It freezes all my food and now the ice maker has stopped working DO NOT EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR!

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Drier a year ago this coming July and it is truly a bunch of crap The washer had to be repaired months after purchase because the repair that Whirlpool requested that I call had to replace the drum and gears He informed me that it came from the factory this way It would get off balance every time I did laundry and the entire neighborhood could hear it I purchase it from Lowes and requested to trade up and since I had, had it for months they world not let me even though it was under a warranty I even talked to Whirlpool and asked to purchase a more expensive machine and was told no I am happy with the dryer but I can not even walk outside when doing laundry because I am afraid that it will go through my wall I can not wash a set of king size sheets at one time I have to wash either the bottom or top by themselves but not at the same time I have a Jenn Air range which is made by Whirpool, a Whirpool dishwasher and Whirlpool Refrigerator and am very please with them Please, please do not buy the Cabrio unless you have a lot of time on your hands to babysit with the machine while you do laundry All I want to do is trade up to a more expensive machine that is not made out of tin and that will work You really do get what you pay for and in my case a piece of junk

Purchased two high-end dishwashers from whirlpool. They were delivered to the home. Whirlpool has an internal policy that they do not notify you that you are to immediately inspect product at delivery to let them know of damages prior to acceptance. Obviously, this is unreasonable given no delivery person is going to stand there while you unpack and look over the unit.

Upon installation of the units in a rental unit it was clear both were substantially damaged, one structurally and likely beyond repair. Because the units were needed for tenants and a replacement unit would likely be weeks away the units were installed and promptly called to file a damage report.

Whirlpool call center has been very difficult to work with botching the notes on damages, work orders, registering product under incorrect buyer and despite multiple attempts to explain these issues with them they have not complied.

Never again will I buy a Whirlpool products because of cheap design in product and very poor customer service. At this point I wish to receive a full refund and buy a competitor's product if not immediately satisfied with this poor experience!

I bought a Maytag Washer Model MVCW425BW1, serial #[redacted], paid for 9/30/14. $568.02. Washer broke down in May 2016, repair tech said it needed 2 control boards that would cost me $412.00. Needed to make the unit run. He reset and recalibrated, it worked until Sept 5th, 2016. Will not run!! Called Maytag, got a customer service rep, kept apologizing for my dissatisfaction, I don't want to hear apologies, I want to know what they are going to do about. I get a girl on the phone. his supervisor, she starts by apologizing again. Don't want to hear that, want to know what they are going to do about. I read other reviews on this Model, apparently have a history of problems after 18 months. The model is discontinued. Got no satisfaction from them!! Maytag used to be a good name. What happened?? They can't stand behind their product!! She said she documented the conversation which I admit was not pleasant!!! Why is this world today a throw away world. Then we wonder why our landfills are growing. I am very unhappy with Maytag. I have my receipt. She documented the conversation. Maytag, 553 Benson Road, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. What does the consumer have behind them anymore? 10 year ltd warranty only covers the stainless steel tub, the motor, and wash basket that probably would not fail in the 1st year. but the boards needed to push the button and make the washer run are not covered past a year!!!
Maytag is not the product it is advertised to be!! Totally false advertising!! The book says "forget the repair bills" Top Quality Service!! All false!!! How can they deceive the consumer this way!! I would have expected better customer service! Not someone paid to read a script to the consumer. So sad that this is what consumer protection has come down to in this world!! Totally denied any request for restitution in the matter!!!

We have been trying to have our refrigerator fixed for the last 3 weeks. When we originally called Whirlpool we were told that everything would be fixed under warranty and that a local company would complete the repairs. That local company has now been to our home 3 separate times and the refrigerator is still not working and Whirlpool is refusing to compensate us or approve for us to receive a new refrigerator. We have 2 young children and Whirlpool has been very dismissive of our need to properly feed them which requires a working freezer and refrigerator. I am so unbelievably shocked at the poor customer service we've received from Whirlpool and that there brand new refrigerator broke after only 14 mon. I will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again due to both of these reasons.

We bought a whirlpool refrigerator. It arrived with the doors hinged on the wrong side. We called whirlpool and were informed that model only hinged on the right even though you could see the hinge pins on the left side. They would do nothing about the doors being hinged on the wrong side. Less than a year later the ice maker failed, leaked and damaged our entire hardwood floor and subfloor. Whirlpool, even though the refrigerator was still under warranty, would not take responsibility. The insurance company paid for the damages, $18,000, our insurance rates jumped, and whirlpool got off scott free. Now, 6 months later, the ice maker has failed again.

Do not ever buy a whirlpool refrigerator. The product is poor, the warranty is poor, and the customer service department is poor.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher from [redacted] (Model: WDF510PAYWA; Serial: [redacted]) in April 2014. Within 2 months of installation the water valve, control panel, and sump motor all needed replaced at separate times within that period. By October, the sump motor failed again. Whirlpool decided to have my dishwasher replaced, which was before Thanksgiving. The supervisor, [redacted] {Telephone: ([redacted]}, in the Michigan Customer Service Center assured me that my request was going to be expedite and someone from Whirlpool would contact me within 5 business days. It is now 12/19/2014 and I have yet to hear back from Whirlpool. I have attempted to call the supervisor in MI several times and received no response. I have called the customer service department center several times and they have explained that my replacement has not been replaced and they cannot provide any further information. There is no other department that I can contact, per the customer service representatives. I simply need to wait to be contacted according to them. Unacceptable! I paid money to utilize an appliance and now the reason that I am unable to use that appliance is the manufacturer. The only resolution that would satisfy this situation is a full refund of my money. I have no trust or confidence in the Whirlpool brand or the Whirlpool service. The time and resources wasted on a simple dishwasher is amazing. My service account is [redacted]. I demand a resolution immediately!

I bought $12,000 S/S APPLIANCES 1/2016, within a month of delivery I found a spec. of rust low to the floor,"not anybody would see" I happen to have found it during a wipe down with their product they suggest"affresh" I thought it was food and kept trying to clean off here n there. I started finding specs here n there and reported it right away,now it has spread throughout the entire fridge. I had to fight and argue and they finally agreed to send me new doors, which I argued I wanted my money back or a NEW FRIDGE, they declined! I had to wait 2 months for the doors to arrive. they arrived and 1 is smashed in and the other has no decals. I emailed right away with several questions, all they could say is sorry. I asked that a supervisor call me and make sure all the questions in my email to the rep. I was dealing with be answered before anyone calls me back! This is going on a year that I haven't even got to enjoy my new fridge.HE TOLD ME TO CLEAN THE RUST MEYSELF WHILE I WAIT FOR THE NEW DOORS ONCE AGAIN> Now I have to wait another 2 months and he couldn't tell me how to clean the rust.. I know high grade s/s does NOT RUST. the supervisor left me a message yesterday to tell me the new doors were on order and if I have any concerns to call back?? Never once mentioned she had answers to my questions,rather acted like no big deal. I'm a very disgusted customer right now, they have been told several times and they act like no big deal! NEXT I WILL BE SENDING A COMPLAINT

Acct # [redacted]. In November of 2015, in [redacted], I purchased a refrigerator for a brand new house built in [redacted]. 2015. The minimum electrical requirements for [redacted]., (since June of 2014) is that all kitchen appliances be on an AFCI breaker. The refrigerator I purchased trips the AFCI breaker about once a week, which could allow food inside to spoil if it goes unnoticed. Whirlpool's senior repair technician in the area could not resolve the problem. When contacted again, Whirlpool declared that the refrigerator would operate on a standard breaker, and that I would need to provide, to Whirlpool, PROOF that appliances are not exempt from the AFCI breaker requirement. I emailed the proof they required. Whirlpool then contacted me to say that they agreed that I had met the burden of proof that an AFCI breaker is the minimum requirement; however, they still do not intend to be of further assistance on this refrigerator. No credit allowed for a future purchases or anything else. Let me be clear: In Nov. 2015, Whirlpool sold a refrigerator in a county and state which does not meet the current National Electric Code 2014 edition; Whirlpool (now) acknowledges the refrigerator is not up to NEC code, and Whirlpool will not do ANYTHING to resolve the matter.

My whirlpool refrigerator/freezer started leaking water, or rather the freezer started overflowing with ice, which turned to water, and pooled on my hardwood floors. After doing some investigating, this is caused by a poorly designed condensation drain out of the freezer compartment, which is supposed to drain the water after the anti-frost cycle runs for the freezer. The drain gets backed up, doesn't allow the water to flow out, therefore causing the ice to build up in the freezer, and it eventually has nowhere to go except out the front of the freezer drawer and onto my kitchen floor.

I received a technical service bulletin which states Whirlpool will either pay for the freezer to be serviced, or send the customer a updated part free of charge, regardless of whether or not the freezer is still under warranty. I tried contacting the warranty parts and service department with this technical service bulletin to receive the free part to fix this, but the people I spoke with at Whirlpool had almost no idea what I was talking about. After speaking in circles with the warranty people for about 10 minutes, they finally suggested I email the warranty department with the technical service bulletin, proving I had a legitimate request, and all of my information. Well it's been nearly a month now, and no surprise I haven't heard anything back from them. They have a legitimately faulty product, which they said they would repair free of charge, but they clearly have no interest in upholding their promise because they won't communicate with me. They will be losing a potential lifetime customer because they don't care to send me a $10 part to fix something that they improperly designed and sold to people in the first place.

I bought a Kitchen Aid stove about 2 years ago. The ignitor switch does not work properly. When you turn on the oven it keeps clicking, you smell gas and it turns off. I had the service tech here and he stated he repaired the switch. About 3 months ago I had the service tech here again and he replaced the ignitor switch, Now AGAIN the stove is not working properly. Sometimes it refuses to light and the smell of gas comes into the kitchen. 3 times to me is a LEMON. I have contacted Kitchenaid thru their chat service and was told the ignitor switch is only a 1 year warranty...I told them it's the same issue I had when it was under warranty so it's the same issue that was never fixed. They told me to call the service. MODEL #KGRS303BSS1 AND SERIAL NUMBER [redacted]. Very disappointed in kitchenaid.

I purchased an accessory that I would not be installing for several months because my Whirlpool Rebate Card was to expire. There is not a way to look up accessories that go with your appliances and so I called in to get the correct part number. I confirmed that a return would be possible if it did not work out later on and was told that it would be fine as long as it was in the original packaging. The online receipt sent to me did not have a return policy listed and so I assumed this information was correct. Fast forward to now and our appliances were finally installed this week. The accessory did not fit the stove, not even close. So, I found the order number and called in. After spending over FOUR hours being shuffled from place to place, a representative finally was able to look up my online order. Until that time, no one could find it using any of my information or their own number. The customer service I received has been the worst I have ever experienced. I was informed for the first time, of a 30 day return policy, which again is not listed on their receipts. Despite their giving me the incorrect part number to order in the first place, no responsibility was taken. I finally spoke with a Woman who agreed to help and then once again, was unable to look up the order and so she is going "call me back" because the dept she needed to talk to was "closed" (online hours said they were open). I am sure to never hear from her again. I recorded all conversations, including those with supervisors, and I would like to talk to someone in higher management about this issue, among others. I work in the trade industry and I will NEVER use Whirlpool again after seeing how they treat their customers. Absolute nightmare.

I purchased a whirlpool side by side in 2014. As soon as the warranty ended a year later I have been experiencing problems with the refrigerator. There is incessant noise round the clock. I have had, so far, two repairs on it, resulting in replacing the control board and fan motor. Each time, after a few days the noise returns. I've complained to Whirlpool and have gotten no response.

This company is a joke and so is its customer service reps!! I have had the worst time with this company. My washing machine started running by itself Sunday 06/07/15. Had to unplug it so it would stop. Called and got everything going and was suppose to have someone out to fix it on Tues. But the people that were suppose to come no longer done it. so had to call back on Tues. and they said they would get back with me in like 3 bussiness day. So they called and said that they had found someone who would be out tomorrow 06/12/15 between 8 and 5. well I called them and they said no way the would be here on Friday would be sometime next week???? 5 days and still no washing machine and its going to be 5 more day!! what the heck is wrong with you people!! get your [redacted] together! when you tell someone your going to do something DO IT.. I will never buy another Whirlpool washing machine or anything else!!

This is the 2nd time I have had to resort to researching complaint sites for my 2008 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Model #ED5LTAXVOO. Last time it was due to ALL the shelves cracking. This time it is because the thermostat (part #
WP2315562) has been back ordered by Whirlpool for MONTHS. I recognize this is a poorly made product so I can expect to replace most - or all - of the parts eventually, but I am flabbergasted that Whirlpool doesn't have appropriate supply chain policies in place so you, the manufacturer, orders integral parts before existing stocks are depleted.
I have called Whirlpool Customer Service (and the parts departments) - and looked on line - and have been given no indication of when - if ever - the part will be in stock. Is the corporation's objective to force owners of your products to replace them every few years? A refrigerator without a thermostat is nothing more than a lit box!
To say I am unhappy with this purchase is an understatement; however, with the typical expected life span of a side-by-side refrigerator 14 or more years I should be able to use this product for 6 more years. I suspect that this appliance, like the Whirlpool washer I bought that lasted only 6 years, will not even have the average lifespan. Never again!

I would just like to tell someone -I loved whirlpool products as a repair man and a user-I have a wash machine that rolls the clothes into a ball- when you dry them they are so wrinkly you can not wear them without ironing them-all my years of wash and wear are over-every time I get the clothes out of it I cuss it and swear to go againt my wife and get rid of it-we have rental properties and a tennent owed back rent and told us to keep the washer and dryer for what he owed-my wife had me put them in our home -you took a good product and had to follow the leader and do away with the aggittater-I will not rest until I get it out of my home -I am going to make it coin operated and put it in one of my rentals
