Wholesale Window & Door, Inc. Reviews (46)

We just had windows installed at our home by Wholesale Window & Door. The process from sales to completion of job went very smooth and in a timely manner. We have only had the vinyl windows for a few weeks but have all ready noticed that they are performing much better than our previous windows. I would recommend this company.

This company did a great job of replacing my windows from start to finish. All the people I interacted with were professional and friendly. I was told that it would take 3 days to complete the installation and they kept their word. I enjoyed the interaction of the installers as well. They were very friendly, professional and had a genuine interest in making sure the work was done correctly. It's been approximately a month since the windows were installed and it has made a world of difference in the house. The heating bill is lower and there are no more cold zones in the house. I would highly recommend this company again.

I have had this company out to perform installations at my home on four different occasions. Every experience was wonderful; therefore, I continue to choose their services. The first job was replacing a sliding glass door with a custom-made door with windows on each side to give the appearance of the sliding glass door for the HOA while increasing the security of my home. The custom door with windows all had built in blinds, which continue to be a very nice feature. I was so amazed at how quick and professional the entire install went. The crew was amazing, which lead me to the company three additional times: next replacing two upstairs bedroom windows with more energy efficient windows, adding a deadbolt to an outside shed door, replacing the front window after it had been broken. On every occasion from the measurer to the installer, everything was completely satisfactory on completion. I have had three different installation crews. Out of the four jobs, there was a little problem with removal/installation of the large living room window, which was taken care of quickly. When removing the window frame a small crack resulted, which was patched before they left my home. I would use them again and recommend them without any hesitation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  It should be noted however, that there was one screen damaged by Wholesale Windows and Doors during the installation.  Regardless of fault, Cascade Windows said that they would repair it.

GOOD PRODUCT, GOOD PRICE AND GOOD SERVICE

Review: I had a new door installed on 10/24/2015, which has a lifetime warranty. A month later, it was not closing properly setting off my home alarm, It was also sticking really bad; I contacted the Service Representative to arrange to have the installer to return and adjust the door; they said they would pull my file and arrange a time to come out; no one ever got back to me; I called as follow up on 2 more occassions this month, and they gave me the same spill, but no one has returned my call to schedule the repair. I've also emailed me.Desired Settlement: I want them to return and fix the door I paid a very expensive price for. They had no problem taking my money. I'm also inclined to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. They haven't provided the product I paid for.

Review: [redacted], the general manager says he will do nothing to fix the problem with cabinets not installed right.Desired Settlement: have the company stand behind there work.

Response:

We have made four separate service calls out to you regarding your cabinets, You have kept telling us the plumber said the sink would not install in the cabinets and the countertop was cut wrong, I sent [redacted] my installer out there numerous times and he stated nothing was wrong, Your plumber didn't know that you had a box of clips that was supposed to hold the sink down, After explaining to you about the clips, you called again stating the sink would not work and the cabinet was wrong. We then proceeded to make another appointment to com,e out there again. You never gave a courtesy phone call that the plumber eventually did get the sink in. You then called to tell me that everything was fine and completed. Three minutes after our phone call ended, your wife called and started screaming at me stating that our cabinet doors were "falling apart". I tried to explain to her that we were just there yesterday and even had pictures showing everything was fine, It sounds like the plumber must have done something wrong to knock the doors off the sink but am not sure without directly seeing it. I told her that we would come out again to look at it, but if the door was broken because of something that plumber did we would have a trip charge. If it is something that we did we would fix it at no charge. She then screamed at me and threated to turn us into the Revdex.com and to not do anything. She hung up and would not let me finish my conversation. The following day, you called back stating the doors were falling off. I talked to you on speaker phone with my boss and said to you that we would come out there and look at the doors and if we could prove to you that the doors were damaged because of us we would fix the problem free of charge, BUT if the it was the plumbers fault we would have a trip charge for coming out there. You told me that it did not matter how the cabinets broke, and that I told you it would be a lifetime warranty and would fix the cabinets regardless of any issues. That is absurd and nobody can be responsible to fix cabinets that you break. Then you proceed to threaten that you would put me in jail and do whatever you could do to hut me and get revenge. In closing, I will state AGAIN that we will be more than happy to come look at the cabinet and FIX IT at no charge if it something that we did or the manufacturer. But we cannot be responsible from damage that you did or your plumber. If you have any more questions or would like to set up a time to come out there here is our information once again.

We were very pleased with the price and the quality of the windows and the installation. Very professional.

I found the experience with wholesale windows and doors to be very satisfactory. Timely and very competive with pricing. The crew led by[redacted] during installation went very well and would recommend that you ask for him.

Perfect. Everything done on-time and at great price.

Review: We had new dual pane windows installed on February 24, 2015. The installers used the old flashing from our mobile home. [redacted] the owner came out after we questioned the installation, and he was very unprofessional, cursing, rude saying this is the right way to do the work. I asked why the other homes in the neighborhood had new flashing and ours didn't. [redacted] stated that all the other windows were done wrong. This is not true. Our windows look unfinished from the outside. Very unacceptable work. The screws are still in the old frame where screens used to be. The company refused to work with us. We were charged $5,000.00 for a job that was done poorly. We never received a receipt. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Desired Settlement: The company refund us $2,000.00. This way we can get the proper repairs done by a reputable company.

Response:

My installer called me stating the customer was complaining about the window installation. I went to the jobsite to see how I could help. When I showed up the customer and his wife along with another woman were in my face about changing the J. channel because it looked bad. I tried to explain that we don't change J. channel because we would have to rebuild the siding also. He wanted us to install the windows over the J. channel leaving the windows approximately 1" from the siding. The proper way is to put the windows inside the J. channel the way the old ones were. Another problem was they dry walled the entire mobile after I measured causing extensive work to cut drywall back to install windows. I did not charge them for this although I should have. He said I would not work with him but he wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. He and the other women were all taking at the same time telling me what I should do. I was having a bad day because of my hip surgery and slipped with a curse word that I apologized for. He kept telling me to put the windows in over the J. channel and foam I" around window over the siding and caulk over it. I would never do that. If he wanted his J. channel changed he should have done it before we arrived.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

First off, he cussed more than he stated, not just once. My wife & mom in law never said anything to him except my wife asked him to stop cursing. All I want to get $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 so that our windows can be fixed on the outside. The drywall was already in when he came to measure the 2nd time. The first time his partner measured w/o drywall. He needs to get his facts straight. I spoke with two of the installers that stayed behind to finish, and they said it could have been done the way I described to him. So why wasn't it? Checking our neighborhood, other homes had it done properly. The way it was described to the owner of this company. He refused, was upset, cursing and refused to listen to me or help in any way. I repeat that my wife and mom in law never raised their voice to him. I was trying to deal with this ugly situation. Also the installer took a picture of a bent screen for replacement, and to this day we never received a call about it. As a business this is unacceptable.

Response:

I think Mr. [redacted] needs to get his facts straight. The only room with drywall was in the rear bedroom. He should check with his drywall contractors invoice it will show it was done after the final measure. My installer did not say the windows could be installed the way he wanted. That is why they called me to come to the jobsite because the customer was giving him a hard time. As far as cursing I admitted that I said a word I shouldn't have, it was a slip up, and I did not repeat it. Of course the customer is going to embellish on the problem to make himself look right after all he is trying to get money back for no reason. [redacted]Wholesale Window & Door Inc.

This company lacks honesty, integrity, knowledge, and professionalism. They were probably in the used car salesman business before 1999.

We recently had windows and a new kitchen installed by this company. We are extremely pleased from everything from start to finish. Sales people were extremely knowledgeable and the installation was superb and very happy how they cleaned up after themselves. Their pricing by far was the best. As we had 6 estimates of this very large project. We have recommended this company to many of our friends and neighbors. We will continue to do so.

I just had my kitchen cabinets replaced, I am very happy with the quality of the cabinets, the fast service, and the great installation. I will be calling Wholesale Window and Door again when it's time to remodel the bathrooms. I would highly recommend them.

We use this company as much as possible, they always do a great job!

Review: On January 11, 2014, Wholesale Windows and Doors, Inc. (WWD) installed windows in my home. There are several issues around the installation and manufacture of these windows that have been promised by WWD to be addressed. The installer from WWD stated that the manufacturer is to send their representative to make all the necessary corrections. I have talked to WWD on an almost weekly basis since January. I also have talked to the manufacturer (Cascade Windows). In mid March, Cascade Windows advised me that the required materials were to be shipping to the manufacturer's service representative (Glendale Glass) in the next few business days (I was led to believe that these would be delivered sometime during the last week in March). To date, I have not been contacted to have the repairs made nor have my inquiries about when I can expect these repairs to be made been answered.Desired Settlement: Complete the repairs that are needed by May 2, 2014. Three months have passed. Customer Service is lacking here and the communications have been terrible! I have made the all the phone calls to both Wholesale Windows and Doors and Cascade Windows. Nobody has called me to provide a status of the parts on order, expected completion date, etc.

We called Mr [redacted] on 04/14/14, in regards to the letter written to the Revdex.com he knows and agrees that the complaint is a manufacture complaint, not a complaint towards Wholesale Window & Door Inc. But since we are his contact he wrote it the way he did. Wholesale Window & Door Inc has left a message with [redacted] AZ rep for Cascade, to solve the problem With Mr [redacted]' glass and screens.
