I ordered Pearly Whites product package. Since then I have tried canceling the product and packages still come. The customer service email does not work and indeed emails to the address bounce. The customer service number does not accept calls This is a poorly run business or worse. I intend to contact the Interstate Commerce Commission about this entity today as they are doing business interstate

This company uses a "leader" $4.95 ad then ships products at 120.00. There is no way to cancel so I canceled my CC.

I used it as directed and it damaged my teeth and my dentist isn't sure if they can be fixed.
I purchased Pearly Whites home whitening kit and teeth whitening pen. I used according to directions. After the first couple uses my teeth and gums started to hurt. Anything cold or hot would feels like an shock to my teeth. I have to take tylenol or motrin just to eat and I have had to eat lukewarm food and drinks. I had a dentist appointment for cleaning, they could not do the cleaning because my teeth hurt so bad. The dentist asked me about what I had been using to brush, floss, or mouthrinses because my enamel was so thin. I told her about the Pearly white kit. She explained that the chemicals and charcoal in the product are not ADA approved because they are known to be harmful to my teeth and possible my body. The dentist has offered to cover my teeth with porcelain to replace the enamel that I eroded away with this crazy product. Help!! Stop other people from this Harmful tooth whitening kit. You can actually see where the enamel is missing now!

Desired Outcome

I do not know if the Revdex.com can report enough complaints to a company so the company stops selling a bad product. I would feel better if no one else damages their teeth. I would not mind getting my $242. dollars back from the monthly product they keep sending me that I have tried to return. They finally agreed today to stop sending me more and stop billing me, but they will not let me return the unopened product they sent that I did not agree to. Any help is appreciated for myself and future naive people like me.

Dear Ms ***,

We're sorry to hear about your recent experience and issued a complete refund. We have had thousands of satisfied customers across the US who've seen dramatic improvements in their smile and self confidence because of the Pearly Whites System and we're sorry you are not one of those success stories. Even though the case study regarding the effectiveness of our product can be found here: https://trywidersmiles.com/d/v2/caseStudy/index.html, we always encourage our customers to consult a medical professional before using our products. Please let us know if there's anything further we can do to assist.

Signed up for a free trail shipping only. Didn't receive for 7 weeks. After I canceled my credit card due to hundreds of dollars charge by them.
Signed for free trail of product on August 17, 2019, was charged $5.95 and $3.95. Completely forgot I even did this because I never received any products. Then my credit card statement showed a charge on September 2, 2019 of $114.22 and another charge the same day of $118.24. Then another charge on October 2, 2019 $124.19. I received my credit card statement, I had never received anything from this company and they continued to charge my credit card. I canceled my credit card. This company then tried to charge my credit card again for $118.17. Yesterday I received a package in the mail from this company that looked like the product was made in someones garage and it wasn't mailed until after I canceled my credit card and 7 weeks after the just pay for shipping trial. This is a total scam! They charged my credit card $484.72 from August 17th to October 2nd. I emailed the company told them to stop and I would return the garbage they sent me yesterday.

Desired Outcome

Company needs to stop charging my credit card. In addition what they are doing is complete fraud!

I have had the same experience as the previous reviewers. I have tried e-mailing the company and calling and I can not get anyone to answer telephone or respond to my e-mail. I ordered the free sample pack and then was charged $118 for it. I did not order anything else and did not authorize charging my card $118. I am returning the product I did order and want nothing more to do with a company that scams people.

In summary, I received a Wider Smiles product from "Wider Smiles Returns" in Savannah, Georgia left on my doorstep on August 30, 2019. It is a product I knew I did not order due to the nature of my teeth. I immediately googled the company which resulted in a record of numerous complaints to the Revdex.com and an "F" rating. I called the company phone number provided and spoke with "Eljah". I inquired how they got my information and they started asking for my personal information. After providing some information to "bring up the correct account" I asked how they got my information and they claimed I ordered it 19 days earlier. They said they could have offered me a 25% refund if I cancelled the order but I missed the 14 day cancellation deadline, (and I received the product today!) but I demanded a full refund. They said they could forward my complaint to THEIR Fraud Department. Wow, they had their own Fraud Department? I again demanded a full refund and advised I would dispute the charge with my bank. After much arguing I hung up, called my bank, and cancelled my card and I sent the product back immediately via ups for tracking.

Ordered a trial sample for $5.95 with whitening pen for $3.95 on 7/15/2019. No product received, but charged total of $128.14 on 8/3/2019.
I immediately called my credit card company to dispute the charges. I then called the company and talked to an employee that tried to tell me they have proof the item was received by me from USPS. He also insisted this is what I had ordered. When I insisted nothing had been received & not what I ordered he got belligerant and hung up. I finally went to Revdex.com and noticed 32 similar complaints about this company! My next step is to contact New York State Attorney General's office to lodge a Fraud complaint.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of $128.14 I was charged.

Notice the discrepancy on dates: the supposed placement by SRHolland for a trial- 7/4/19...and when
the trial period ended - 7-1-19 and full charges were
put thru....product, in fact, even after cancellation was JUST received (8-28-19) which I have returned at my expense (8-30-19)...supposedly the account was cancelled and closed when I logged this complaint
a month ago....clearly, the vendor is unorganized
and shows intent to confuse the customer into paying.

This seems to be a scam. I had no idea that after taking a survey for what looked like amazon I would be signed up for something. Ive lost 474.89.
Took an amazon survey in April and was told I'd get a free whitening kit. I was to pay shipping and handling which I did. In July I was surprised to get another package from them. I checked my credit card and discover a total of 717.29 in chargers from May, June and July. I had a broken wrist and was on automatic payments so I didn't catch this until I looked into the July package. I was shocked. I am on a fixed income of only 850 a month from social security. I was never told I was signing up for anything.

This survey looked like it was directly from Amazon. This is very deceptive.

I called the company three times. The second call on August 6th I understood I'd be refunded the entire amount. Today I checked and had been refunded for two of the six charges, 118.17 and 124.19. Those were for the package I received in July. I received nothing in May and June and both months there were two charges from them. A total of four charges. I called them back and they offered no solutions. They told me they couldn't refund the money because it had been to long. this is a total of 474.89.

I explained I never received anything for those two months and had no idea I was enrolled in any kind of delivery program. They told me they had a tracking number. I explained if I had received a package in May I would have looked into it right away.

It seems like this company is scamming people.

***
***@gmail.com

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund for the two payments in May and the two payments in June. May 14th 114,22 and 118.24 June14 118.24 and 124.19 I'd also like them to be honest about this so called survey for a teeth whitening kit.It looks Just like Amazon and I had no idea I was enrolled in anything.I'd like the terms and conditions to be present and clearly visible so this doesn't happen to anyone else. This is a scam! I just want a refund. I don't want the product I didn't receive. There was no place where it clearly said I would be enrolled in something each month that would cast as much as a car payment.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not get any product in the mail in May and June. It wasn't until I got the product in July that I realized I was on some kind of subscribe list. There was no way to request a refund before that. As I understood it I was filling out an Amazon survey and would get a free teeth whitening kit and pay for just shipping charges which I did. I am not disputing that. Im disputing May(no product), June (no product) and July (unexpected delivery). I was charged over 700 dollars and never asked for any of this. I was told when I called (three times) that I would be refunded. This was the second call I believe.I am still waiting for Mays refund for which I got no product.

I never received the product I was charged for, they will not refund my money.
I order the wider smile teeth whitening kit trial in March-2019, I was supposed to get a two week trial to get the product and see if I liked it prior to committing to being charged $118.24 for a full month supply. I was charged the $118.24 within a couple of days of ordering my sample kit. So I called immediately to cancel any further transactions. I called in May to find out why I had not received my month supply since I had already been charged, they told me they were going to send it immediately and apologized for the mix up. I called on June 01, to get the same response from them. I called early July and was told I would get 25% of funds credited back to my account and the product. I called late July and told them I wanted my money back because I still had no refund nor product. I have been continuously hung up on, put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on, to them being told I would get my money back within 7-10 days, 2 minutes later now I'm being told it would be 30 days. This company is a complete scam and I just want my money back that I paid!

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund, I dont want any of their product, just the money I am owed for not getting what I paid for.

Wider smiles company entered me without my permission into a subscription and charged me hundreds of dollars without my consent.
DECEITFUL AUTO ENROLL AND ADVERTISING. I signed up for a trial product on April 15 and was charged 5.95 which they said was for shipping and handling. NOWHERE did I sign up for a monthly shipment.I received the trial product and did not like it: it killed my teeth and did not accomplish anything. I thought that was the end of that.on April 29 they charged me 118.24 and on may 29 they charged me again 124.19 on my visa card. After seeing these charges I tried to email the m but there was no such email address as the advertised. I then called them to ask why they are charging me and they said since I didn't call to cancel I was getting charged for the trial product and for the next one. I told them I didn't know that I had to call to cancel. I offered to ship it back since I didn't use the second one but they refused to refund me. they said all they could do was give me 50% off on just the second one. this is extremely deceptive and I had no idea they would auto enroll me. I would never pay hundreds of dollars for such a product. my account with them can be found under my phone# XXX XXX XXXX. Thanks.

Desired Outcome

i want a refund to my visa of the charges of 118.24 and 124.19 immediately

False! I offered many times to send it back. They did indeed refund me 62$ but they didn't refund me on the first "free" trial product that they charged me 118$. I. Willing to send back the item once they refund me the complete amount.

They never refunded me the original charge of 1118.24. I called them several times and they said they refunded it. Finally they realized that they had only refunded the 124$ and not the original 118. I want a complete refund of the 118.24$,thanks.

Illegal trial and unauthorized charges and refuse to refund customers unless they threaten with Revdex.com or AGthreat
I was
Employed by this company and they knowingly retained money from customers without their consent and refused to return unless threatened with the Revdex.com or atty general

Desired Outcome

Legal action against companies and for making their employees do illegal and unethical things

Ordered a $9 sample. Called and emailed to cancel possible subscription. Both were wrong and got charged $118
We received an email advertising a risk-free trial of teeth whitening product. The email specifically said that there would be no subscription and that for $9.99 we could try the product and make a decision. A hunch we decided to reach out to the company just to make sure there was no subscription. We responded to the email address offered at the bottom of the email under customer service which was ***@widersmiles.com and also called the phone number which was written on their signature line. We were not able to reach anyone through the phone number as we kept getting disconnected. The email sis go through however. 2 weeks later I get charged $118. I called to see what happened and they said that the email address they provided was invalid and therefore I need to pay the $118. They refused to refund anything even though they used false advertising, lied about their terms, and gave false contact information to canel

Desired Outcome

None

On 05/19/2019 *** placed an order online for the Teeth whitening kit. Then on 6/3/2019 that trial ended and he was billed the purchase price of $118.24. On 6/6/2019 *** contacted customer service to cancel his monthly renewal and stated he had already filed a dispute with his bank over the charges. We explained to *** at that time we could not issue a refund until the disputes were cancelled. We attempted to reach back out to confirm the cancellation of the disputes and left detailed voicemails. Because of the confusion on 6/10/2019 we decided to issued a full refund of $118.24 back to the card on file. At that time an email was sent to confirm the refund for his records.

Deceptive sales practice
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. When I saw that I could get teeth whitener for $5.95, I thought that would be a great thing. The product arrived, but then I noticed a few days later that my checking account had been debited or an additional $118.24!!! When I called the company, they said I agreed to that by clicking on something on the order page. They offered a 25% refund, but I protested. Then they put me on hold, and after a while said their final offer was 50% I agreed, even though I felt ripped off, but they have not issued any refund. The person was rude, and it was "take it or leave it" situation. No company should be able to treat seniors this way! I want a full refund!!!

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of the $118.24. I believe that the $5.95 was what I REALLY agreed to in the first place.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept, provided that the company issues the check to me in a timely manner. I would like to know when the check is to be sent, if possible.

Customer Response • Jun 25, 2019

As of today, June 25,2019, I have NOT received any reimbursement. The company has not sent it to me and I am still awaiting information as to when I will receive it. I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE COMPANY'S RESPONSE.

Wider smiles claims to give you a 14 day trial when in reality it is 14 days from the day your order the product, not the actual date the product was received! I truly feel I was scammed. I had the product a whole 5 days before being charged. It's just infuriating because I tried to cancel right away but they said I need to have the product before I could cancel.
