Never received product and was charged $118.24. Refund requested and was refused. Told order was requested for resend if order was not delivered.
Ordered on 5/14/19. Called to cancel when I noticed it was a 14 day trial. They said they could cancel but I would lose the shipping cost if I canceled. I decided I would wait to receive items and try before canceling. It is 5/29/19 and product never arrived. Called for refund and was told that they had tracking saying product was delivered. Requested refund and told them it must have been delivered to wrong address. They refused refund and said they will contact warehouse and reship if it shows that it was not delivered. I told them I needed my money back and forget reshipping, but they refused. I can not help but think this is a scam.

Desired Outcome

Refund my original shipping charge and the $118.24 charged to my bank. Product never arrived. Do not seek reshipment only refund. If company is reputable then they should not argue refund.

On 05/14//2019, *** placed an order online for the Teeth whitening kit. The trial ended 05/28/19 and he was billed the purchase price of $118.24. Then on 05/29/19, Mr *** called to check status of shipment as he had not received it and was offered a reship of his product. His monthly renewal was also cancelled and an email was sent to confirm the cancellation for his records.

Because of the confusion we decided to issued a full refund of the purchase price of the products on 05/29/2019. This gave Mr. a total refund of $118.24. We reached out to Mr. and he is aware of the refund to his account. He is welcome to keep the product as a gift. Deceptive and ILLEGAL auto-enroll process after signing up for trial size of product.
I was unknowingly charged 114.22 and 118.24 eighteen days after I requested a trial size product. When I called company, they directed me to a Web only site where I had to click on the Terms and Conditions. This opened up to another page with poorly written notes. The 2nd paragraph starts with () days, but does NOT contain an exact number. When I questioned them on the phone, the rep told me not worry about the details and it is assumed that it means 10 days. This is FRAUD and NOT an accurate legal document. I called my CC company and disputed the charges.
NOWHERE on the web portal does it say that by clicking "RUSH MY TRIAL" that I agreed to future charges. There was no fine print evident on the sign up page and this does NOT meet the ethical or usual and customary business practices of on-line sales.

Desired Outcome

I have asked for a full refund of the two errant charges($118.24 + $114.22 = $232.46) and they have declined. I want the online information of the terms and conditions to be present and clearly visible for the consumer so no one gets ripped off in the future. This is a scam.

On 04/10/2019 *** placed an order online for the Teeth whitening Tray, Pen, and Powder.Then on 04/24/2019 that trial ended and she was billed the purchase price of $118.24 for the tray and $114.22 for the pen. On 05/21/2019 *** contacted customer service via email to cancel her monthly renewal and requested a call back. At that time an email was sent to confirm the cancellation for her records. We also attempted on 5/21/19 to reach her by phone and left a detailed voicemail with callback instructions.

Because of the confusion we decided to issued a full refund of the purchase price of the products on 05/24/2019. This gave Ms. a total refund of $257.41. We have attempted to reach her and left a detailed voicemail regarding this matter on 5/24/19. If she hasn't yet sent the products back, she is welcome to keep the product as a gift. I received a total refund only after a formal complaint was made through Revdex.com website. Although I am grateful for the outcome, I am still disturbed by this company's online sales and marketing techniques. A quick search of Wider Smiles revealed that this deceptive practice has been an ongoing problem. The "average" and uninformed consumer continues to still be unfairly taken advantage of.
The legality of the Terms and Conditions was NOT addressed by the company.

I made an online purchase for a teeth whitening product from WiderSmiles/STS. They continued to charge my card and send me product I didn't order.
I placed an on line order on 1/29/19 for the teeth whitening product. I was invoiced on my credit card three charges: $24.95, 5.95, and 3.95 for a total of $34.95. I'm ok with those charges and the product I received. I then was charged the following without my consent or knowledge and was unaware until I received my credit card statement: 2/11/19-$118.24, 2/12/19-$114.22, 2/28/19-24.95, 3/11/19-$124.19, 3/12/19-$118.17. I have received one additional shipment of product (after the original that I purchased) that I returned today on 5/1/19 Fedex tracking # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. No other product was received by me. I was never made aware in any way that I was purchasing any product other than or in addition to my original purchase of $34.85. After seeing these unauthorized charges on my statement, contacted my card company and reported the charges as fraud. The card company initially credited all the unauthorized charges but then added them back on to the statement I just received. It seems White Smiles falsely told the credit card company by providing false documentation saying that I agreed to purchases that occured after my initial purchase of $34.85. This is untrue and I was never made aware of any transaction except my initial transaction. I have been traveling in recent months and not able to react to this sooner.

Desired Outcome

I want to be credited for the all additional charges from Widersmiles / STS Whitening that posted to my credit card after 1/28/19.

The policy / buyers agreement that your company identifies as a trial offer that must be cancelled in 14 days, is an important piece of information that I as a consumer purchasing your product was never made aware of while making my purchase. Any claim that this information is at the forefront of this transaction is false. You mention that I have not made contact with your company. To that I say when your credit card gets stolen, you contact the bank to mitigate the potential damage. That's exactly what I did in this case when I received my statement an viewed the unauthorized charges. To date my credit card company has indeed cancelled my account with WiderSmiles / STS so your company cannot continue to charge my credit card without prior authorization. My credit card company attempted to charge back the nearly $500 of unauthorized charges but received documentation from WiderSmiles / STS explaining your trial offer policy (that I was never made aware of). The charges remain on my card, and the product that I didn't order was returned to WiderSmiles / STS on 5/1/19 via Fedex (tracking # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). AS I stated earlier I did make a purchase in the amount of $34.95 and received your product, which I believed to be the end of our business transaction. The subsequent unauthorized charges to my credit card totaling $499.84 remain on my card, and the one shipment of product that I received for these charges was returned. I expect to be credited for $499.84 to resolve this matter.

This company took $123.18 from me stating a authorized a trial membership with them and I didn't I requested a full refund, but they have failed to.

On 03/07/2019 *** placed an order online for the Teeth whitening kit.Then on 03/21/2019 that trial ended and she was billed the purchase price of $118.24. On 03/29/2019 *** contacted customer service to cancel her monthly renewal stated she was filing a police report and dispute because she had not ordered the items. That call was disconnected prior to us being able to provide additional assistance. Two callback attempts were made to *** but we were unable to reach her. At that time an email was sent to confirm the cancellation for her records. Then on 4/23/19 Ms. contacted customer service requesting to return her products. We have a 30 day return policy and at this time Ms. was outside the 30 day return window. At this time Ms. was offered a 50% refund on her purchase which she accepted.

Because of the confusion we decided to issued a full refund of the purchase price of the products on 04/26/2019. This gave Ms. a total refund of $118.24. I have read the response from this company and they are not telling the truth. I contacted this company numerous times prior to the subscription that I never agreed with expiring, but never could get this company to answer the phone. Regions Bank even called and we conducted a conference call sat on hold over 45 minutes before disconnecting the call. This company has not given be a full refund they have only provided a partial refund to me. I am requesting the remaining balance of this refund sent to my account that was taken in error. This company has no integrity to take money from me that I did not approve. When ordering this item it never mention a trial membership on the website unless this information was embedded somewhere on my computer that prevented me from seeing that information. Once again I am umemployed and would never order a monthly subscription with a company without a job to support this matter. Please help me get my money back from these ruthless crooks! They have taken something from me that I never had to give. I offered to send the product back and they refused to take it back. Once again I have not received a call from them stating they would refund me my full balance. I have only received a partial refund. I am asking that you escalate my concern and make sure justice is done on my behalf. I thank you in advance for your help and assistance.

The refunds were processed in two amounts. On 4/23/19 $59.12 was refunded to the Visa on file.Then on 4/26/19 an additional $59.12 was refunded for a total refund of $118.24. Refund confirmation emails were sent out on 4/23/19 and 4/26/19 to ***@gmail.com with the details of each refund processed. Refunds can take up to 30 days to process through the customers bank or credit institution. We apologize for the delay caused by executing two refunds on two different days and understand why this would cause some confusion on the status of the full refund. Deceptive sales process. I thought I was purchasing 3 products for which I paid for on April 6th. I had no idea I was on a trial.
I thought I was purchasing 3 products for which I was charged on April 6th. I was then charged $118.24 on April 21st and told I was on a free trial. I had no idea I was on a trial. I thought I had paid for the products. I called the company and tried to get a refund. They did not comply but they say there will be no future charges. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I would never had agreed to pay $118.24 for there product and would like a refund.

They gave me a refund promptly. I think they were fair in our transaction.

Signed up for free trial and ended up being charged full amount without being notified.
On March 30th, I signed up for "free trial", where I just had to pay shipping and handling for Wider Smiles whitening kit. Today, April 15h, I was charged the full amount to my checking account of 114.22 and 118.24. I attempted to contact the company 3 times today to explain that I was not aware I needed to cancel my account to avoid getting charged. I haven't used the product, and since I'm not able to afford the amount being charged to my account, I requested a refund. The first two times, after being on hold for 20 minutes each time, I was disconnected. Finally on the third attempt, I did get through to someone. They offered to give me a discount of 50% off the full price. I told them, I haven't used the product, and I had no idea it was this expensive, or that I would be getting billed for the full amount and they needed to please refund my money. They transferred me to a supervisor. The supervisor told me I would have to send the product back, as well as be charged a restocking fee of $20.00, and they wouldn't process the return until they received the product. I told them I could not wait for them to receive the product, since I wasn't aware I was going to be charged, I need that money back in my account now. The supervisor then disconnected the call.

Desired Outcome

I would like my account with Wider Smiles cancelled, and I would like the full amount of 232.46 refunded to me immediately.

On 3/29/19 *** placed an order online with us. Then on 4/12/19 that trial ended and he was billed the purchase price of $118.24 and $114.22 for the initial order he received. On 4/15/19 Mr. called in and requested to be cancelled and have a credit issued. At that time we cancelled the monthly renewal and issued a full refund to his account on both charges. A confirmation email was sent to ***@yahoo.com confirming the refunds and cancellation for his records. In total he was refunded $232.46. We reached out to Mr. on 4/17/19 and left a detailed message.

Mr. is welcome to keep the products as he is under no obligation to return them to us. If there is any further information or assistance we can provide please do not hesitate to reach out.

I have tried to cancel within time frame cited and can't get through via any of methods provided. They have attempted to charge my card.
I have attempted to cancel additional charges beyond free trial within cited time frame. I have tried the customer service line provided on order confirmation several times and after being on hold for long time the line disconnects. I tried the email provided in the order and it does not work. They have attempted to charge my card a monthly subscription. There appears to be no means to cancel under their supposed "risk free" trial. This is extremely frustrating!

This company gets your credit card number and debits' unauthorized charges. Wider Smiles deducted funds from my account & refuses to reimburse.
I tried a trial of this product and did not agree to any monthly charges. Looking back on my first order March 1, 2019 their is No Mention of any type of montly billing. I have not opened the product and want a full refund of $114.22 debuted on my account March 18th, 2019 I requsted on April 1. This compay tried todebit my account twice on March 31, 2019. Terrible that they go after seniors in this way. They should be ashamed.

Reoccurring charges.I
I read an article that said this product (teeth whitening pen) was the only product ever approved by all the "Shark Tank" hosts, and a link to order the pen for $3.99. So I clicked on the link, and I clicked on something else before realizing I had just ordered something else besides the pen.

Got my product. Then my Chase card emailed me to say that they had declined a transaction and to call them. I called. They said try to contact the company listed on the statement as wmbwhiteningpen. I called but was on hold until I hung up. Then on March 19 I saw the charge was still on my statement. Called Chase. They said this is a nonrefundable transaction but try to call the company and if they give me any "pushback" about canceling my subscription or refund to call back.

Called the number they gave me and got right through. I learned that the charge on March 5th was declined, the charge on March 6th went through, the charge on March 7th was declined and the charge on March 8th was declined. Tooth pen guy told me they could not refund my money and I insisted they could so he put me on hold to go talk to his manager. After some time I said I was not going to hold any longer and he came back on and said they could give me $30. I said that was not acceptable and he eventually said he needed to put me on hold again while he would go back and talk to his manager. I hung up at this point and called Chase to let them know that I had contacted the company and requested they stop charging me and/or take me off the subscription list.

So Chase said they would credit my account while the charge is being disputed.

By the way (too late) I Googled the company and found nothing relating them to 'Shark Tank' in any way. They got me...

I just want to report what I believe if a fraudulent company. Chase also told me that the other attempted charges had slightly different company names so... On my mailer the Suit number is 631.

This is the most fraudulent company that I have EVER worked with. I ordered ONE product at the price of $5.95. The site charged me and added ANOTHER product which I did NOT order but since they had already charged my card they added ANOTHER $3.95 for this product which I COULD NOT cancel. They then charged me $118.24 BEFORE the 14 day trial period was up and argued that they had not. I had proof from my bank as well as text notification that the charge was made 2 days before the trial was up. I spoke to 3 people, all of whom were managers and denied this had happened and told me there was nothing they could do. The SECOND I mentioned the Revdex.com I was told I would receive a full refund and instantly received an email confirmation of this refund. This company is falsely representing itself as well as it's product. I have resolved this issue without reporting to the Revdex.com but want others to be aware that this company is bad news and bad business.

On 3/2/19 Ms. signed up for the trial for the Wider Smiles Whitening Tray and the Wider Smiles Whitening pen. On 3/16/19, Ms. was charged for the products in her possession in the amount of $118.24. On 3/18/19 Ms. contacted customer care to have her subscription cancelled. We honored her request and also refunded her in the amount of $118.24. There are no remaining charges on Ms. account to be refunded. If Ms. has any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 866-918-5008. I appreciate your response and the refund which was owed to me regardless of the fact that your reply has changed the days that my bank account was charged. You make your business sound as though I made the mistake. I continue to assert that it was YOUR mistake and you ONLY took responsibility for the mistake when I brought up the Revdex.com. I'm still extremely disappointed with your company and how you "bait and switch" your customers. I will NEVER recommend your company to anyone else and will actively discourage friends and family from ordering any product or service from you in the future.

You ask for a complaint issue, I have to say this includes multiple issues. I noticed a charge $114 on my checking account from (STS WHITENING) ALSO (WIDER SMILES).
STS WHITENING ON CHECKING ACCOUNT, WIDER SMILES ON THE PACKAGING?
I don't recall anything about $114 in addition to my payment of $3.95 and $5.95.

I tried many times to email, kept coming back to me, account does not exist.
I the tried to reply from one of there emails that came back, account does not exist.

I then tried calling numbers from their container 855-995-8880 and then 800-598-9109 from my checking account. HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD no answer. left message, no reply. The recording states open all day but know one is home.

So This whole experience makes me believe its almost a scam? Not something you would learn in business 101.

Billing Adjustment I would like my checking account given a credit of the $114 and account canceled. Thank you

The company did cancel the account as I requested. The company did refund my money as I requested. I am ok with they way things were handled.

These guys are crooks!! They will steal your money. They charge your credit card $100S a month and will not refund it no matter what. Do not use this company, you will lose your money.

I ordered a intro offer on mt ceel phone and paid 5.95 for this Then on 1/4/19 was billed for 118.24 nd then on 2/7.19 I received a package and was billed another 124.19. They did not make me aware that I was in a contract and I am having no luck canceling. This is not god for a senior on fixed income

On 12/19/18, *** placed an online order with us. Then on 1/2/19 that trial ended and she was billed the purchase price of $118.24 for the Wider Smiles Whitening Tray. She was then billed on 2/6/19 for her second supply.

Ms. never contacted customer care to cancel her monthly subscription or request a refund.

On 3/4/19 we contacted Ms. for quality assurance purposes to ensure customer satisfaction. We left Ms. a voicemail and to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, we cancelled her monthly subscription and refunded her in the amount of $124.19. Ms. does not need to return the products, they are hers to keep.

I signed up for free trial 9/16/18, canceled on 9/23/18. Sent product on 11/8 and Charged my bank acct. will not give my money back.
On 9/16/18 I signed up for a free trial of a tooth whitening pen. I rec'd the product and didn't like it. Sent an email to cancel to the email on my confirmation email. I never heard back and tried to call. I received no call back. On 11/8 I received a charge to my bank account of $118.17. I sent another email and received no response. I called my bank to stop payment and request a dispute. They reached out to WiderSmiles and on Dec 23 I finally received an email from them saying my subscription was canceled. Long after I sent email requesting cancellation. They gave me a provisional credit on 11/21/18. I received a letter on 2/1/19 saying my bank was going to take the credit back because they show I received the product. I did however, shouldn't have as I requested the cancel on 9/23. Wider Smiles told me because I filed a dispute with my bank there is nothing they will do for me. The froze my account and will not give me a refund.
I have emails, as proof of my attempts at cancelling and reaching out.

I have attached 3 pictures of emails.

The first one was the confirmation email telling me how to cancel if I didn't like the product.

The second picture is my email requesting to cancel on 9/23 which was 5 days from my order date.

The third picture is dated in November asking again why they hadn't canceled.

At that point I reached out to my bank because they were debiting my account. Only after my bank reached out to them did they contact me and that was 12/23. They told me that I used the wrong email which in fact you can see I didn't. The person I originally spoke to was very apologetic and said they would fix it. When she escalated to someone of higher authority they basically told me I was out of luck.
I did everything right and they basically told me because I reached out to my bank they were cancelling my account and would do nothing for me. My bank account was charged back by the bank on 2/8. I feel they owe me this money.

This company charged my credit card for merchandise I did not receive.
Ordered charcoal and a whitening pen on 12/21 thru wider smiles. I received the order on 1/3. On 1/4, my bank contacted me to advise that a company was trying to charge my account in the amount of $114. at which point I cancelled the card and had to get a replacement. On 1/7, this company and/or an affiliate billed me for $118.24. When I contacted the vendor, they said it was for trays that I received. When I told them I did not receive the trays, only the pen and charcoal, he told me that I would only be charged for a stocking replacement fee.

This is a total scam. My situation is like all of them....they offer what appears to be a one time offer with 14 day refund. It's like 20 bucks. Somehow they start charging your credit card 242 dollars a month in two different charges.....I was traveling and was like two months into this (almost 500 dollars) before I figured it out.

On 10/19/18 Charles *** placed an order online with us. Then on 11/2/18 that trial ended and he was billed the purchase price of $118.24 on 11/2/18 for the Wider Smiles Whitening Tray and $114.22 on 11/3/18 for Wider Smiles Whitening Pen. He was then billed again on 12/2/18 and 12/3/18 for his second supply and for his third supply on 1/3/18 and 1/12/18. On 1/14/19 Mr. contacted customer care to cancel his monthly subscription. His account was cancelled and an email was sent to confirm.

To ensure 100% satisfaction, we attempted to contact Mr. on 1/24/19 to let him know we are issuing full refunds. Mr. does not need to return the products, they are his to keep and we apologize for any confusion.

policy on website says "no hassle return policy" I was on hold for 35 minutes while waiting for a supervisor to issue a return merchandise auth #.
after waiting 35 minutes for return auth #, opted to leave a voice message. No one called back. I sent an email to [email protected] and that came back as email does not exist. I want a refund on the last shipment of $242.36. I never gave this company authorization to bill my credit card. I was able to cancel the subscription (which I didn't know I had today 1/3/19) and have documentation to support this cancellation from the company.

She was then billed again on 11/5/18 and 11/6/18 for her second supply and for her third supply on 12/5/18 and 12/6/18. On 1/3/19 Ms. contacted customer care to cancel her monthly subscription. Her account was cancelled and an email was sent to confirm.

To ensure 100% satisfaction, we issued six full refunds of $118.24, $114.22, $124.19, $118.17, $124.19 and $118.17. There are no additional charges remaining on her account to be refunded. Unfortunately I responded to an online ad for teeth whitening from Widersmiles. Based on information on the website, I believed it to be a one time purchase. Since the initial deliveries on August 13 and 27 for which I paid $124.19 total,I have received four more unwanted deliveries; the cost of three (at$124.19 each) have been automatically deducted from my checking account. The reason I did not catch this scam sooner was I had major surgery in September and did not have detailed access to my checking account information until November. Since then I have repeatedly emailed and called the company based on the information they provided and have been unable to contact them.

She was then charged $124.19 on 9/25/18, 10/25/18 and 11/25/18 for her monthly subscription. Customer care contacted Ms. on 12/13/18 and left a detailed message. She called back on 12/14/18. She was issued two full refunds for her most recent shipments in the amount of $124.19.

He was then billed again on 11/30/18 for his second supply in the amount of $124.19. Mr. never contacted customer care to cancel his monthly subscription or to request a refund.

On 12/13/18 we called Mr. for quality assurance purposes to ensure customer satisfaction. Mr. stated he did not want to be enrolled in a monthly subscription. When asking Mr. why he did not email customer care or leave a voicemail for a callback, Mr. stated he did not have time. To ensure 100% satisfaction, we issued three full refunds of $124.19, $118.17 and $124.19. There are no additional charges remaining on his account to be refunded.

Thank you so much. Wider Smiles has refunded the last 3 months of charges and cancelled the rest of the subscription. I had tried several times in the form of phone calls unanswered, emails unanswered, and Facebook posts on their page. Wider Smiles called me to tell me the refunds would be made and cancel the subscription. Please mark the complaint resolved.
