Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
When your company website interface fails to allow a customer to cancel a subscription every other year and then your customer support staff provide verbal commitments over the phone promising to "Cancel" and refund any moneys taken from you every two years, not once, but rather over and over and over again that is unsatisfactory. For you to claim that this is the customers fault when it is absolutely 100% on the hands of your support team both web and phone then I have nothing left to say to you. You need to be put out of business. I wonder how many more people are being ripped off by this company under the guise of customer inaction. It is almost to the point you can not trust anyone...
While this company has offered to refund the last $70.00 that they have stolen from me they then turn around and insult me by stating that this is my error. This I do not accept. I stand by my complaint. They have been robbing me for years... I follow their instructions each time fill out their forms and jump through all of their hoops to end up with a customer service rep apologizing on the phone promising to fix everything and not to worry it will not happen again etc... Thinking everything is resolved you go about your life only to discover it happens again and again and again! They will not stop... This is their doing. If they are doing this intentionally by design or "accidently" by design... I will let you be the judge of that. However, I do not accept their insult. I am not sure what that means to accept it or not to accept it. Rest assured I do NOT accept the insult. Furthermore I have closed my bank account so as to prevent any more theft from this company as that appears to be the only way to stop them

Domains entered into any relationship or agreements with the complainant. The complainant's concerns are regarding information posted on a third-party’s website. Wild West Domains does not become involved in third-party disputes.  Additionally, while Wild West Domains is the registrar of record for the debbiedakiwi.com domain name; its website files are not hosted on our servers and we have no influence over the site’s content.  At this time, it appears the content in question may have been removed from the website, and the complainant’s concerns may be resolved. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Nothing that is connected with Go Daddy is done in good

faith! They change policy at any given time to suit their purposes and there’s

nothing that you can do about it. Their practices are definitely deceptive (at

the less).

I have tried to cancel what these people call their “protected

registration”. What they are asking for NOW I can’t give. I don’t have a

business, just a simple, personal website for our group against bullying.

Personal is what’s on my account owner information sheet as well.

What I received was this: To process this protected registration cancellation

request, we require a

color copy, scan, or digital picture of the following information be

sent to [redacted]

1. A clear, readable copy of the government-issued photo

identification in which the pictured person, name, signature, and expiration

date are clearly identifiable. The copy of the government-issued photo identification we received is

not clear.

2. A

copy of business documentation for the company listed as current registrant.

To view the company listed as current registrant you may login to the Domains

by Proxy account at the link below.

For U.S Based businesses - We can accept an EIN/TIN

Assignment Letter from the IRS. You may request a copy of this letter by contacting the IRS at

###-###-####.

If people don’t do business with them they are determined to

auction off their site(s) and/or cause them as much trouble as they can.

The information in their policy changed after 2010 and their

policy has changed considerably since then. I started this account in 2010 not

2012 and kept removing the auto renew to no avail. When I renewed in 2012 I

registered a second domain name. I canceled the second one with no problem. How

I ended up with this protected registration is beyond me.

This just means that you can’t win with these people you can

only give up. I gave up because they were holding my domain name hostage. I

told them that what they are doing is extortion and on 3/23/2014 I bought a new

domain name and rebuilt the site.

In April they found a way to renew without my consent and

keep telling me that it’s because of the protected registration.

Their policy doesn’t tell you that you will need ID to

cancel protected registration and it also doesn’t tell you that it comes as a

bundle. The bundle includes business registration, domain ownership protection,

and private registration services.

I have never used protected registration only private

registration to keep my personal information private. I don’t know how I ended

up with protected registration. Something happened after that renewal in 2012.

I got the same things for both web sites yet I canceled

asklady.net with no problem and [redacted] has been nothing but a huge headache.

Both of these web sites are in the Domains by proxy portal.

that the complainant may have made with the third party in question would be outside of Wild West Domains’ control or influence. The complainant is attempting to gain control of an expired domain name registered through Integrity Domains, a reseller of Wild West Domains' services. RESOLUTION:The complainant has contacted Wild West Domains’ Change department and provided identification documentation necessary to move the domain to an Integrity Domains account the complainant can access. On February 19, 2016 our change department requested the complainant to provide an Integrity Domains account number so they may expedite the domain move.  The complainant has not responded to our change department's request with the information required to complete the process. As the domain is in an expired status, we recommend the complainant respond to our change department's request in a timely manner.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by the complainant.Kindest regards,Mike L[redacted]Office of the CEO – Wild West Domains

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have reviewed our customer's complaint and present the following.

On March 22, 2012 our customer purchased their domain name with Protected Registration through the...

webZarus.com website. webZarus.com is a reseller of Wild West Domains, LLC.  At the time of purchase they acknowledged the following agreements:

•    Wild West Domains Universal Terms of Service Agreement

The latest version of these agreements and other legal agreements may be found at:

https://www.wildwestdomains.com/resellerplans/agreements.aspx

Per our customer's account preferences we were instructed to automatically renew our customer's product and did so in a Good Faith effort to honor its agreements with them.

RESOLUTION:

We value our customer's business and have acted in good faith, upholding our terms with them.

Account management is a customer responsibility and our customer agreed to this upon agreeing to our Universal Terms of Service Agreement. Their account preferences instructed Wild West Domains to process these renewals and we followed their instructions in good faith to uphold our agreements with them.

We advised our customer on March 23, 2014 of the steps required to remove the Protected Registration service from their domain name and prevent future billing. To date, we have not received the required documentation.

If the customer follows the cancellation process outlined in this link: https://supportcenter.securepaynet.net/DomainServices/ProtectedRegPage.aspx

This company - under an additional name ([redacted]) has hijacked my e-mail, bouncing it back without any reason and without -- in my opinion -- any legal authority. They require a copy of the bounced e-mail (among additional things) so they can "look into it." In my opinion, if your e-mail were to contain any protected information -- such as medical records -- this company would be committing a HIPAA violation.

There's nothing you can do to stop them from blocking your e-mail, other than jumping thru all the hoops they've created. ... and having a degree in computer science would be helpful in even understanding what they want and how to send it to them.

I am not an attorney and these are just my personal opinions... but my opinion about this company is very negative.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,

Thank you for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.  We have reviewed this matter and would like to present the following.

Contrary to the complainant’s understanding,...

Wild West Domains is only the registrar of the domain name in question, not the registrant.  The complainant is not required to pay to contact the current registrant of the domain name in question, as they are welcome to use the information found in a public Whois lookup to contact the registrant.  The complainant has other options that Wild West Domains or its related companies offer such as domain backorders, however these are not guarantees to acquire the domain, nor is the complainant required to use them.

RESOLUTION:

Wild West Domains upheld its agreements in good faith and honored its terms of service.

We will not award the domain name to the complainant however, they are welcome to contact the current registrant in an attempt to negotiate the sale of the domain in question.

Thank you again for the opportunity to address and bring clarity to the concerns presented by the complainant.

Kindest Regards,
