I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowIn the first contract that was signed by me, the six windows that I ordered was incorrect a mistake on Window World This is where this matter how come to you I ordered kitchen windows, bathroom window and I bedroom window and the two small windows in the living room When the windows came in the two living room windows where not there, they said sorry we made a mistake and the two dining rooms where measured that was their mistake I called an complained to [redacted] I was livid because the air conditioner was taken out by a friend from that living room window Now I had a opened space that was only covered by them with a piece of metal Oh they said sorry We will rush the order for you I said this is causing me a hardship My heat bill doubled for that month, my house was cold This company is not taking responsibilty for there mistake in the first place They are trying to put this on me, when it was there person in the first place that measured the wrong windows and because of this I had to take the crap they told me on the phone the many conversations that I had with Window World They are coming this Saturday to put the two windows in I don't feel I have been compensated correctly from Window World Regards, [redacted]

As stated previously, the windows were manufactured and installed per the signed contract - see attached Nothing on the contract indicates that she requested brown windows As noted on the contract $worth of discounts were already given to her Our previous offer stands, we will uninstall, order and reinstall new energy star upgraded windows with full screens and brown exterior if this customer pays the $per window, a total of $and pays her unpaid balance of $ We will be bearing approximately 70% of the cost of the new windows and the installation and have already paid the install crew and the manufacturer for the windows we installed No further offer will be made, as we installed the windows per the signed contract dated August 1, and she still owes us $for this install Thank you, Kathy [redacted] Window World

After leaving numerous messages, Bobbie finally called us back on October 6th and advised that October 19th would not be good for her She said she would call us back when she was ready for Window World to do the repairs There is nothing further we can do until she calls us back

Ms [redacted] has two contracts with Window World The first one, which was ordered in Sept as she stated, was measured by our Install Manager During the measure Ms [redacted] herself instructed him which windows he was to measure It was not the fault of Window World of what got ordered On the second order, one of the windows did need to be re-ordered and has been received and is scheduled for installation on Saturday, April 1st This special request was honored, however, please note that we do not usually install on a SaturdayAs far as her request for a discount, we feel this has already been provided at the time of the sale of the 2nd set of windows with a value of $worth of discounts However, we will offer an additional $ Attached is a copy of Ms ***'s contract and also a copy of an unwritten contract and you will see that we made numerous reductions in our pricing - $when this contract was written These are addressed below:Lite slide - actual price $each sold for $- $difference X = $DiscountSolarzon - $ - Sold for $ - $difference X = $DiscountEnergy Star Upgrade - $ No Charge - $ difference X 2= $DiscountEPA Lead Safe Practice - $- Sold for $ - $ difference X = $DiscountEPA Lead Disposal - $- Sold for $ - $ difference = $Discount TOTAL DISCOUNT = $

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this... does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Well today is 8-26-16, I haven't received a call to arrange to have the new crank installed. I feel my biggest complaints as it relates to the extended wait time for installation customer service, lack of follow up, updates with status of the windows, lack of follow up at all, having a brand new window installed and its crank being broken, being inconvenienced multiple times, have simply been ignored. Your only response to my complaint was that the manufacturer sent the incorrect crank and it's expected to be in 8-24-16. No courtesy call to inform me of this. I am again very disappointed, but I will admit I am not surprised, as I have come to expect so little from your company during my lengthy experience of very poor customer service and poorly made windows. This is not the amicable resolution I had hoped for. Regards, [redacted]

The crack handle came in incorrectly from the manufacturer It was reordered and due in this Wednesday, August 24th and will be scheduled for installation upon arrival

The install manager came out to my house on Friday 1/to inspect the damages. He agreed that it was water damage but could not find a break in the seal so he "didn't understand" how
the water was getting in . He said he would call me back to schedule an appointment either later that day on 1/8, but no later than 1/10.. It is now the 19th of the month and I have not heard anything back from them. He also had to order a new sash for one of the windows because the window had bowed and I have not heard anything about that yet either

Per the attached contract documents signed by our customer, installations are - weeks from the time the windows are measured. Contract date - 9/19/17 Windows Measured 10/6/17 weeks per the contract - December 8, 2017 Windows scheduled to arrive from
manufacturer 11/15/17 This customer has called our store numerous times EVERY day wanting her installation. She has been repeatedly told that the windows are scheduled to come in from the manufacturer next Wednesday, Nov 15th. We have the install tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 29th, as this is our first available install date. However, if we have inclement weather, we have until December 8, to be within our week commitment. Fall is our busiest season for both our manufacturer and Window World for installations. We have spoken with Ms *** and advised her that the windows will be arriving from the manufacturer approximately Feb 8th We have set up a Saturday, February 11th install date She is completely satisfied with this date. Thank you Kathy ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While what was said in the response was true, it doesn't address the fact that the installation was months later than what was promised and almost months past when the contract was signed. This was due to not only inaccuracies in what the sales staff told me, but in the fact that the measurements were initially wrong, and the windows had to be rebuilt. This resulted in me having to take two days off of work, and the discount that was offered would not have compensated me for close to half of one of those days. The compensation that I was asking (the balance of the contract paid in full), was not out of the ordinary from what I've seen for all of the complaints lodged against this company, yet the manager of this store refused to give me anything but a token 10% discount. I honestly could have done better if I was an employee. So while I paid the contract balance, as I didn't want the stress of a collection hanging over me, I am not satisfied that this matter is closed. I am seeking a partial refund of the contract to settle this. Regards, *** ***

I want to add that I called not just one time but many times, and never got a person to answer the phoneI left also many voice messages regarding the status of my order and never got a call backThe last time that I called I said in the voice mail that I would submit a complaint to the Revdex.com if I did not get a call backSince they did not call me after a few days I submitted my complaint.I have done business with Windows World in the pastThe service at those times was somehow better than this timeUnfortunately, there are not business competitors to Windows World in the Buffalo areaThey ought to offer much better customer service, and as a minimum return customer callsRegards, *** ***

Scott called and stated: The consumer disputed the EPA lead safe installation charge per window and we agreed to provide that service at no charge to the consumerWe just reopened the contract and ordered the windows, therefore we hope to have them installed within a month
