The following are the service notes regarding the issues at the home of [redacted]
~ Rcvd call from [redacted]) 11/19 2:06 p -she stated that this morning she could not get out of the garage side door due to the exterior trim shifting and now blocking the door. I Set for [redacted] to go look Fri 11/21 9-10 am.
~ [redacted] out 11/21: Found that the concrete heaved up and pushed trim (this had happened before) - [redacted] will review with [redacted] to see what we could recommend to the customer to be done to fix this, given it is not a problem with the door or installation.
~ Rcvd Vm from [redacted] on behalf of [redacted] 1/13/15 (Lm on Vm 113, Mon 1/12 9:36am. I was off sick) - she was very upset about her garage door - stated that someone was out and did a temp fix but did not come back. She wants it fixed or her money back and will be contacting Revdex.com. ~ I returned [redacted] call and lm on VM 1/13, 9:37am - offered appt Thurs 1/15 to have [redacted] go back out.  ~ [redacted] rtd my call 1/13 10:45 am -1/15 was not good for her. She asked for Fri 1/23 9-10 - so that [redacted] will be there. Scheduled for 9-10 am w/ [redacted].
After [redacted] is able to review all aspects of the installation and issue with the concrete I will be happy to follow up with you. If you have any further questions, please fell free to contact me @ 330-726-0200.

Well, we are sorry you feel this way because we truly feel you have NOT recognized your failures in this fiasco whatsoever!  Why has noone once contacted us in 4 months??  When you do decide to contact us, you EMAIL US?  Noone has approiately apologized to us or even cared after the fact, this is proven by 4 months of no contact—no phone calls to follow up, no invoice ever once sent...nothing!  Then when you do contact us...your balance is WRONG!!  We do not feel you deserve any additional monies, so by offering to meet you in the middle of your proposed amount was a big deal!!  We will review your company openly & very honestly on all sources of social media too...we’d love to include how you rectified a very bad situation & stood up & made things right to a customer that was very poorly handled in MANY MANY ways!!  Word of mouth is the best or worst way of referral!

2/1/2016We have a call into the customer as we will be meeting with her and the manufacturers sales representative to replace her door and sidelightes. 
I'm sorry this has taken some time but we will be replacing her door real soon.

Window World has submitted a response and/or proposal to resolve this complaint.  The details are as follows:

Our apologies. Ms [redacted] is correct. A $[redacted] payment was made on December 4th. This leaves a balance of $[redacted].
Because of the issues stated we will cut the balance in half, leaving Ms. [redacted] responsible for $[redacted].
We are sorry for the many inconveniences, and resolve to do better in the future. [redacted]

customers phone calls...   Our largest source for leads is referral...when we do not call our customers back , how do we expect referrals from that customer..

As stated previously Window World doesn't run from our responsibilities. We would be more than happy to fix our work to customers satisfaction. We do thousands of windows each and every month with very few complaints on workmanship. It's hard to be perfect but will always stand behind everything we do.  If customer wants to deduct the price charged for the capping charged for instead of having us fix his claims of inferior work then we will be happy to accommodate his wishes. Two windows were installed with exterior trim (problem in question). Each Exterior trim was charged $[redacted] or $[redacted] for both. Balance on contract is $[redacted]. Deduct the $[redacted] leaving a balance of $[redacted]. I am so secure in how we do business and take care of our customers, I will still stand behind our work and offer to the customer to redo the exterior trim on the two windows after deducting the price charged.

2/1/2016I talked to Pat Moran the owner and he said to go ahead and replace some of the bedroom windows that are smaller. We normally do not take out the existing frames of the old window and install drywall to drywall but in order to take care of the customer he has agreed to replace them for her. Our store manager in Pittsburgh and Installation manager from Pittsburgh visited [redacted] and took measurements of the new windows. We will contact the customer and installe them when they come in.
This should complete the complaint.

We had a service appointment scheduled for today for this location. Unforunately we cancelled due to icy weather conditions and left a message to reschedule the appointment earlier today.  Our records show different phone numbers than those listed on the Revdex.com complaint, and after receiveing...

notice of the complaint,  attempted to contact the owner to update our contact numbers in case this is the cause of communication issues. We will reschedule the service and take care of issues as soon as we can.

Additionally, I was charged a landfill fee when I retained all materials removed as they are historically significant. [redacted] doesn't know what she is talking about. The installer was to come on June 13th, he missed the time and date. I called the installer myself to find out when he coming over and he said June 14. He missed that time and rescheduled the install for June 16th. He came late but he came and finished the job. Maybe if [redacted] was more involved in her job she would have gotten the story straight.

1/7/2016When we replace old Anderson wood casement windows the main frame stays into the opening. We replaced her old wood casements with new vinyl double hung windows. 
 From where her old frame is to where the glass begins she does loose 2 3/4" before the glass begins on the width on...

each side.
If we would have installed vinyl casements she would have lost a lot more glass. Our vinyl window is a lower profile which means she looses the least amount of glass with our replacement windows then other companies use.
She had some windows done at her rental property but they were old wood pocket windows and the vinyl frame did set back further into the pocket. On anderson casement windows they do shrink the size of the opening with their wider main frame.
I'm sorry her install took longer than expected. 
Our serivice manager, [redacted], went out and looked at the job and he said it was a good install and looked great. He did not tell the customer anything different.
There is nothing we could have done different in replacing her old windows with new vinyl replacement windows.

[redacted] has been in contact with our Service Manager,  from our Youngstown office.  We currently have the replacement parts on order and will be addressing all service issues when they arrive at our warehouse. We hope to have all aspects of service completed by the end of the month....
