I paid my bill then all of the sudden I get told I owe money. they already got my payment. I asked for a refund and they say no. now I am fighting them for a refund. it sucks

I signed up for Wing after using *** for about six months. I was told I could port my number over to Wing's service. After receiving my SIM card and a text from Wing offering to start my service and pay 7 days later, I tried to activate the card using the offer they sent to my *** number. I was promptly told they wouldn't honor the offer. As a matter of principal, I was perturbed even though I could afford to pay the bill on day one. I made screenshots of the customer service conversations as they happened over their chat service on the website. I then commented on their *** page and posted the photos. I messaged them over ***, and was told they would actually honor the 7-day free offer. Five minutes later, not only were all further comments I made on their page deleted, but I was blocked from commenting or sending them messages. They did not honor the 7-day offer, and they failed to port my number. I have to wait for another SIM card to be sent in the mail to port my number now. I use this number for business. These folks are amateurs, and they don't keep their word.

Fraudulent lying company. They will report your phone lost/stolen so that it is blacklisted and you will be unable to use it on any other carrier. I asked them directly and have not heard back from “Richard” or “Matthew” since. I have since opened complaints with NY and MO state Attorney’s Offices of Consumer Protection. D

I attempted to begin services with Wing Tell on the ***. They are a prepay service, so I gave them my debit card information and authorised one charge for $61.94. They took a total of four and caused my account to be overdrawn. I attempted to work this out them directly, but they denied the any charges apart from one. I cancelled my service with them and there was one charge refund. I have filed a claim through my bank (claim number ***) but they have not been able to do anything to have the funds returned to me. Wing still denies the other 3 charges to my account.

last week I asked to have my number port given to me so I can go back to *** the lady told me it was 1898 I tried it and I have no phone use my calls arent coming through. I was lied to by wing and I woud never do business with this mnic millenial company again. I think millenials are hurting the corporate industry they arent up to the task. I want my number ported back to *** and I never want to know from wing tel inc again.

This company has THE WORST cell phone service I've ever experienced in my life. I have been with all major service providers over the years and NEVER have I experienced such horrendous customer service and cell service.
They bait you with that fact that you'll save money and that the app is so convenient and easy to use. You sure do save money, but at what cost?! I'll tell you, AT THE COST OF CELL SERVICE. I went almost 2 months with no service. Every time I reached out they said that they would fix it. It was "fixed" for 30mins-2hours and then it was awful again. I had to drive home to Wifi, to leave a message for them, so they could restore my phone service at least 6x a day for 2 months. My maps wouldn't work, I couldn't receive text messages unless I was near Wifi, and then they'd all come in at once. I'd receive messages sometimes 2 days after they were sent. I couldn't receive any type of media messages. I have iMusic and couldn't access any of my music that I pay a monthly fee for.
Every time I'd reach out to Wing one of two things would happen. 1. A very rude, and seemingly non caring employee would take down my information. or 2. They would make it very difficult to get my account information to switch services.
I'm all for getting behind a "start up" company and helping them out, but get your crap together before starting a telecom company....or at the very least offer to compensate people who stuck with you from the beginning and who don't have cell service for over 2 months, BUT ARE STILL PAYING FOR IT!!
I had to pay that months bill ($54) and then pay another fee ($191.58) because I financed a phone through their website, and then spent 4 hours trying to get my account information (to port my number out to a new company) just to leave this company for a different provider.
I urge you to keep looking if you're considering switching to this reject of a company. They don't know what they are doing. Save yourself some time, money and energy.

I got sims card from Wings they said they would take over my contract with my carrier Verizon contract. When we started to activate thethey put me on hold while they went to Verizon to get theme to release my phone after 20 min. On hold they came back and said it was ready to activate I put my credit card number in then inserted the sims ca
Rd it wouldn't activate after 5 hours of try I told them to cancel my order and Do Not charge my card I didn't want their service. They told me there were not refunding my money because was the phone it has to. Be locked by Verizo
n something that was not t fualt.heir

I think Wing is fine as long as you never need support. If you need any sort of help, you're gonna rue the day you decided to try this fledgling wireless provider.
Their support people, while not overtly rude, seem either unwilling or unable to help. Furthermore, judging only from their tone of voice, they come off as uninterested in your problems. Even seemingly simple requests take *daysand whether or not your request is actually completed in those days is a toss-up. Then you never hear back from them, you call back and have to start over.
My first problem with them was when I attempted to order a new phone and when I realized it was going to take WEEKS to arrive, I called to cancel my order. A week after I had paid them for the phone, it still hadn't even shipped. So when I called, after a ton of back-and-forth, the support guy finally cancelled my order. OR SO HE CLAIMED. 3 weeks later, a new phone appeared at my door from Wing. It took a month of back-and-forth with them to get a shipping label to return the device and get my money back.
My second problem was trying to get my wife's service transferred away from Wing (since the first problem had soured me on their service, plus I realized I could save even more money with a different provider). My wife's phone was locked to ***s network however, so when we put in the other SIM card, it wouldn't activate, but when we put the Wing SIM card back in, her service was not exactly fully restored. When I called *** to unlock her phone, they said they required the "business name associated with the account." When I called Wing, they claimed the device was already unlocked. When I explained it was most certainly *notunlocked, they said they'd "look into it" and I could expect to hear back in 24-48 hours. That was today. Again, they appear either unwilling or unable to help.

Wing Mobile offered the ability to carry over my balance from my previous carrier for my device over to Wing. The entire amount due to *** for my device was $879.97. When the representative sent me the link to pay for the device through their financing partner Affirm the total amount showed $950.37. I asked what happens to the additional charge was for and was advised that it would come back to me. Another representative advised that it was an automatic charge from affirm and that its for taxes on the device. I advised I already paid taxes on the device. I have had to reach out 5 times via phone and 11 times via their chat portal and nobody is able to assist. Also, when they sent me the money they sent me 28 dollars less than the 879.97 and I had to fight to get the rest of my balance back after numerous calls and messages. They also took 2 months to send me the money and held on to it, I am guessing to gain interest in their own account. Very sketchy experience, and I want my full amount back, as the website *** advised that there were NO fees to finance through them.

My experience with wing was the worst experience I've ever had with a wireless phone company in the 16 years since I have had a cell phone plan. I was lied to multiple times in multiple different agents of this company who are assured me that they could carry over my lease / installment plan to pay off my phone from *** 30 days later I found out that not only did they not bother to transfer the balance over, but they never even bothered to inform me that it was actually my responsibility to apply for a loan through one of wings lenders... by the time I found out about this *** had already charged me nearly $300 to pay off the installment plan. As a single mother of two small children who only works a part-time job, this was devastating for me because now I will not be able to pay my bills let alone buy other necessary supplies like diapers and wipes. So between my phone calls to Wing, my bank, and ***, I spent 8 hours on the phone yesterday and accomplished absolutely nothing. All that I am asking for is an expedited loan through one of Wing's lenders so that I can provide for my family for the next two weeks. I have started the process of getting my approval and getting my installment plan carried over but I was told that it can take anywhere between 10 and 30 days, which I find to be ridiculous! What am I supposed to do in the meantime? I have brought my concerns to Wing customer service several times but the only option they offered to me is a cancellation of my service which I can't afford to do because then I would have to find a new phone company and clearly because of the mistake that Wing made I don't have the money to begin services with anyone else. I did let the most recent agent I spoke to know that I would be reporting them to the Revdex.com as well as speaking to an attorney. The agent had nothing to say after that. I want a full and immediate refund of the $293.99 that was taken out of my account to pay

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Wing Tel Inc. regarding complaint ID.Sincerely

Oh my gosh. Nobody talks with anyone. There ticket system is a mess. They will try to blame you for their mistake. There base agents can't really do anything except tell you what can look at in the app. It took four days to get my apple watch set up and then it randomly disconnected from the network. They overcharged me multiple times and after I cancelled service I was still charged saying "you should have contacted us to make sure it went through." The really push for you to talk with them through the app or their website and do everything possible to not speak on the phone. I had been charged 3 times for the same transaction and it still didn't post to my account so my service was suspended and then I was asked to pay a 4th charge. I explained my situation and it did not go well at all. They would not turn me service back on until it was paid even though they charged my account 3 times before.

Nope, nope, nope. Not a good company. Like everyone else, I was trying to get out of an overpriced contract with another carrier. I was hounded for weeks to make the switch as soon as I inquired the first time. I was eventually promised $25 to switch and I accepted. First, they charge the full amount no matter when in the month you sign up, but EVERYONE pays the bill on the 5th of every month. No matter how much you pro-rate. Then, when you go to get your promised $25 credit for the second month, they deny it. If you cancel, your pro-rated amount stays with them. How easy it is to take your money, but they don’t want to give it back. THEN, after you’ve been put on hold on chat and the phone repeatedly for several hours collectively, and you get frustrated and curse in a chat....some it named “Clarissa” threatens to block you from chat lol. She actually speaks to customers like she is the boss and the customer is a child. This place is not professional and as far as I can tell, they cannot handle the volume they are currently experiencing. I have since cancelled and would recommend others avoid them for now.

I paid $60 for their unlimited plan. The goal was to use the phone as a hotspot while on the road or at a camp site.
Turned out that my old phone, even if the web site said it is compatible, couldn't detect the card. Another phone, moto x4, was working but without the hotspot. All attempts to get it working failed. When I called the carrier, ***, directly they told me I have a business line and that hotspot feature is deactivated. Wing told me that this might be a device issue even if I am damn sure it is an unlocked device. I bought at *** brand new and have no issue with the hotspot with the Ultra card in it.
Anyways, I bought then a refurbished iPhone 5s from *** and on that phone we couldn't get the hotspot working either.
That went on for a couple days and finally I was told either get another card send over which would take a couple days or go to an *** store to get a card.
So I went to get a card for $5 and they transferred the number to the new card. Then suddenly it turned out that this card was somehow already used. Switch back to the original card was not possible.
I drove to another *** shop since the first one was already closed for the day. There I was told that resellers cannot just transfer numbers to an *** card. Whom I should believe here I have no idea but that would explain the strange situation that someone already used that card.
Current situation is that I have now two *** cards that both cannot be used at all.
Then I decided to give up. I gave them a call today to get my money back. Their "service" is useless for me and I didn't use the card besides for test calls and messages.
They reject to give my money back. The are of the opinion that it is a device issue even if I can proof that on three unlocked devices everything is working except hotspot.
I basically trow $60 out of the window not even counting the iPhone that is now just collecting dust.
The person on the phone was just telling me over and over again that refunds are against their policy.

I signed up on the wings cell phone service, they sent me a sim card. when it came I called and they said they activated it but I never had service they had taken money out of my account. then I went online to there chat, because you can never get through to them on the phone. They were not any help but they took money out again even thro they knew I did not or never had any service. I told them I wanted my money back since I had never had or use there service. That was about 2 weeks ago and all I have got from them is a run around.

When I was first considering switching to Wing, from *** I was told that wing would pay all of my outstanding balance to ***. Again, during the process of making the switch, I asked the agent if my outstanding balance would be paid for by the and I was assured it would be. Today, about a month later, *** withdrew $1,000.87 from my bank account, leaving me overdrawn by $902. I contacted wing and was given an email address to submit my problem to. I then received an email back giving me a link to "see if I qualify" for them to pay my outstanding balance with ***. This is not what I was told upfront and I wouldn't have switched to wing if I'd known I would still owe *** $1,000.

Financial restitution. I have been a customer for some time. I Wing alpha in those of reducing my families cell billing with a major carrier. I found a company that has a better price. I asked by chat for the information necessary to port out my phone number. They finally gave me the information after a few push offs. This is a common practice. However, the new carrier issued a new SIM card to start using their services. I spent over an hour trying to set up my phone that I own and the customer service tried everything they could to set up my phone. Come to find out my phone was “jail broken” and when put the Wing SIM card in my phone using there services. I am going to be forced to purchase a replacement phone because it is not fixable by me or others. I have a Galaxy S8+. The value is about $689 current market value.

I cannot tell you how many times Wing has overcharged my account, only to blame it on my bank, and how rude their customer service employees are (both in chat and via phone). I have been a customer for over 6 months now and I just paid my final bill and will be switching to an established phone service company.
They don’t update information (multiple times I’ve had to call them to update my address when I had already done so 4 times before), they overcharge (then, instead of trying to rectify the situation, they immediately became childish and said “No, you! It’s your bank! We didn’t do it!” Like, oh my gosh, haha calm down and just admit that your system screwed up and overcharged me. I have seen multiple reviews stating the same thing happened to them. So, you cannot continue to blame the customer (which isn’t a good thing to do anyway. Customer service 101).
Anyway, today was the final straw as they put their foot in their mouth once again and a lucky agent decided to be an incompetent it instead of a level-headed customer service agent.
So long, Wing. Flying right to *** ??

I purchased a cell phone from Wing on 8//2019. When I received the product on 8//2019 I found it to be defective, as it would not charge, and proceed to request a return address and/or label so that I can return the defective item. Their agents are telling me I need to pay a $35/$25 fee (Different agents have told me different amounts) to have a return label sent to me. Per the policy on their website, that I agreed to when I purchased the phone; "All devices are subject to a restocking fee unless waived or if the return is due to a defective product. See our defective device policy here. " Below is their defective devices policy.
What happens if the phone I purchased or financed through Wing doesn’t work properly?
Any phone purchased or financed from Wing is under a 7-day return period, which covers non-functioning devices as well as software and hardware issues. This applies to phones purchased in full or financed through one of our financing partners. If your phone is defective and you report it within the 7-day period, we'll replace the phone at no cost once the defective unit has been returned to Wing or a hold amount has been placed on the credit card on file. This hold will be taken off once we receive the defective unit.

My phone is defective, it will not charge, even though it was sold as "Like New."
The issues was reported within 7 day, it was reported the same day it was relieved. 8//2019.

As it was a non-functioning device, reported in the time frame, I feel I am entitled to be able to return it with "No Cost to Me." The fee that they are asking me to pay is a restocking fee for Unwanted or Incorrect Items. That policy is listed below.

What happens if I want to return a Wing Device?
We have a 7-day return policy for unwanted or incorrect device orders. In the case of a defective product, there is a warranty period of 7 days. All devices are subject to a restocking fee unless waived or if the return is due to a defective product. See our defective device policy here. Restocking fees:Basic & Flip Phones: $10.00 fee Smartphones under $500: $35.00 fee Smartphones $501-$800: $50.00 fee Smartphone $801+: $75.00 fee
A refund for returned devices will be processed within 3-5 business days of the date the return is processed by Wing and may take an additional 1-3 business days to be reflected in your account.

I have sent many emails, chatted, and talked with many agents. They refuse to give me an address to send the phone to or send me a return label. I have had management tell me they don't care with the policy states, that I must pay the restocking fee if I wish to receive a label. The procedures do not follow the policy I was given when I purchased from them. Your Help is great appreciated!

Do yourself a favor and stick with normal cell service providers that have experience running a company. When I started with wing, I changed my address and made sure to update it in the app. Due to errors in billing, they charged my account 7 times, which resulted in hundreds of dollars missing from my account. I called them and explained the issue only to be very rudely told it’s my banks fault and nothing they can do to correct it. Called my bank and they confirmed this was not correct. Ended up filing a fraud claim to get the charges reversed. Turns out it actually was an issue on Wing’s end. Go figure. Also I finally left Wing when my phone was paid off and they would not release my phone number for 3 days. Honestly one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked with. Stay away.

This phone company was great in doing what they said they would do as far as breaking up with previous company and lowering the phone bill. The customer service was great as well. But, Do NOT expect this company to do anything about an issue with your device needing insurance intervention. Going on day #4 of nobody answering phone calls because they're experiencing "high call volumes". States to leave a name and number and they will call back. No return call after multiple messages left. Wing agents have put in several "ticket" to the insurance specialist to "get back with me", which hasnt happened. Also to add to it..when contacting the third party insurance company, on several attempts, they state they have never heard of wing, or wing sprint and can not find my account via name or phone number. Not only that, when I looked up the coverage from bright star( 3rd party insurance company) it states coverage is NOT available in my state. So I have been paying insurance on 2 devices for the past 10-11 months, when they dont even have coverage in my state! Tell me WHY would a wing agent allow a new customer to sign up for coverage that isnt even available??!! Beyond frustrated with this company at this point!
