I switched from Verizon, I had a 1 year contract remaining with a BOGO deal, so I was paying for one phone and I was getting credit for the other phone, my monthly bill was $135. When I saw the wing add pop up on my timeline I reached out to ask if they would honor the BOGO deal and carry my contract over which would save me around $30/month. And to my surprise agent I was talking to informed me they would cover both phones, so I switched. Now I am being told they won't even though I have the screenshots of the conversation with their agent.

I just signed up for Wing Mobile on Aug , 2019. They charged me $60.05 for the month. I tried to bring my own phone, but in the process of setting it up, I found out my phone was locked. So I went to purchase a phone through them. After making the purchase, I would check daily on the status of my order. I was told each time to allow 7-10 days to process the order. I was told nothing else. After 5 days, and still no word, I finally purchased a phone myself on ***. My phone arrived in 2 days. I contacted Wing to activate it. It took them over 2 hours to activate it, but it finally got done. Mind you, I was charged a month of service, but for a week wasn't able to use it. Everything was great until I just checked my account yesterday (9/*/19) and it said that $26.97 was due on 9/*/19. When I asked them, after a good 15 min wait, this was the response, "hi there! We are a prepaid service meaning all bills are due on the *** and cover services until the *** of the following month. Since you joined late in our billing cycle you paid the full amount. The bill that is due on the *** of (Month) will be granted prorated credits". My feeling is, I should be refunded since I was charged a full month, didn't even use them a week, and am already being charged again. So in 3 weeks time,they are pretty much getting over $80 from me. When I first signed up, they didn't mention the billing cycle, nor did they warn me that I would be charged again after already taking a month's payment from me.

I purchased a cell phone with this company about a year ago,and as of late, the cell service and customer services has been awful. I decided to switch to a national carrier last Tuesday and when I showed up at this national carrier, Wing told me IMIE number was blocked from being ported. I paid the fee of 120.00 to be unlocked and was told it would take 24 to 48 hours and it's now been a week and still nothing. Initially fee is 75.00 a month and now they have been putting charges on my bill that are estimated at 320.00. They use Sprint as their "carrier" and tell me that it is now in "Sprint's hands". I am getting frustrated and annoyed and not sure what else to do......................

This is by far the worst company in the telecom business I have ever seen. Their phones will give you constant grief. 80 percent of the calls are failed, texting does not go through, they don’t return calls as promised. Calls are automatically forwarded to voicemail even though that is not what you expected or wanted. Calls dropped more often than not. Sound quality poor. Customer care poor and they prevent you from porting the phone.

-I have an account with Wing Mobile that was activated without my consent. I only authorized them to use my debit card to buy a phone from them and asked numerous times why my card was charged for activation and never got a response.( I have this saved in a chat)
-Because of a mistake a company employee made in telling me my old device would work with their service and to wait four days for a sim card which did not work in my old device I was offered to buy a phone from them which would be sent 2 day express and a 10 dollar discount applied. The phone arrived in 6 days not two day express and no discount has been applied. (I have this all saved in chat)
- I have been asking since last Thursday August *** to close my account and have my number ported out so I can use it with another company and was told by numerous employees only a manager can do that who was not around but would get back to me Friday. I asked again on Friday and was told a manager would get back to me on Monday and did not. I asked on Monday and was told a manager would get back to me Tuesday and did not. That is a total of six days I have been unable to port my phone number.(This is all saved in chat)
- I have been asking for a return address to send the phone back since I received it on Monday and can not get one. Their is a 100 dollar charge if the phone is not returned within 7 days of receiving.
- I have asked numerous times and was told over chat and over the phone that my number would be forwarded to my partners number which still has not been done. I have tried calling my number and leaving a message and nothing shows up on her phone.
I use this phone number not only for personal calls but for business. Just since I have been asking to port my number it has been six days I have not had it. That is a lot of potential business lost. In total starting from the employee telling me their sim card would work in my phone until today I have not had a working phone or my number in over two and a half weeks.
If you would like I can send over any of the chats but am hoping to get this resolved soon. Thank you.

The switch to Wing was very easy, they just needed basic info from my current provider (***). The whole process took about 15 minutes, and I did it while on my phone at work. Yes, I was still making payments on the phone when I switched to Wing, and about 10 days later when *** sent me a final bill I forwarded it to Wing as instructed. Wing did bring over the remaining balance on the phone as promised. I've been with Wing for 4 months now, and so far service is very solid and I am saving on my monthly bill. I enjoy texting them for any issues or question I have, and they are responsive. They are a bit untraditional with texting, but I like it better than having to call and wait forever whenever I called ***.
Overall, I do see a lot of negative reviews, which left me skeptical before joining, but I am pleased. I feel like everyone posting the negative reviews had a rare and unique issue. Not sure why they don't reach out to Wing, they seem quick to fix it. I know Wing is new and has a lot of great things going for them, soI felt like leaving this review because I would personally recommend them.

Easy to switch but totally unusable service. Was not able to get a refund for the amount charged my card, unable to get my information to go back to my old carrier. Unable to contact any useful customer service. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. STAY AWAY!

The switch to Wing was easy; however, they do not have the services advertised on their web page for *** customers! For instance, they offer $13 for a gb of data to use in europe, but what they don't say is thaat this only applies to the *** carrier version and not ***. They also state they offer wifi calling and again...not really because there are phone restrictions. I contacted *** and my moto g6 Play is on the list that they authorize to use wifi calling, but it does not work on Wing, even after coming from Mint where it did work with the same phone! I want to complain to someone at the top of their food chain, but all I get is chat. The chat folks apologize and one even said they needed to update their web page! I even asked while activating if wifi calling was allowed and was told it was. The very reasons I signed up for in the first place was the international data and wifi call. Not a good experience from a young start up. I also asked about my account number and PIN. They gave that to me but said I could not just port over to someone else without contacting an account manager first!

Paid off my phone which then it would become an unlocked phone. Well as soon as they took my money and promised me it would be released as an unlocked phone they lied to me. I’ve been trying to contact them for 3 days now and cannot get a response. They have totally ignored all of my questions. This company is a scam and just wants money from you and not to do what they say they’re going to do.

making the switch was easy but...was unable to use the service and now unable to get in contact with anyone via chat on website, by calling, texting or email. showing I have a past due amount for a service I was unable to use!

I called on 6//2009 to ask about this company and to see if a phone I had used when I was with Verizon would work, they told me yes, and sent me a Sim Card to put in the phone. After being on a chat with a customer service rep for over an hour, we couldn't get the phone to connect, he told me to try changing my phone number, which I did, it cost me the first-month charge of 22.04, we still couldn't get it to work. A new CSR suggested I purchase a phone from them, which I did for 480.00 which I ordered on 6//2019! I have never received the phone even though they charged me for it! I have called several times inquiring about the phone and told them to cancel everything and refund my money! I have just called again today for the 9th time and still nothing!

The charge for the phone $480 was refunded back to my credit card (I was not informed from WING, my credit card company informed me). I was never refunded the 22.04 and I called them and spoke to a rep, who said a manager would call me back ( I was told this 2 times before this call), I have never heard from anybody and my money has never been refunded. I received an email asking me to pay my monthly charge for phone service or my service would be suspended, I had asked 5 times before this email to cancel this service and refund my money since I have never used their service! I then received another email telling me my service has been suspendedSincerely

Wingalpha when they first entered the phone carrier business, they pride themselves as the only phone carrier with "dynamic pricing". Too good to be true I thought. Their investors Joe S and Greg D always spoke about the dynamic pricing. I switched over from ***, knowing that dynamic pricing is the way to go, why pay for data you haven't used. I received my first bill with Wing and noticed I am not receiving any credit of unused data. Upon talking to their customer service (Chat and phone), they wanted to switch me to a lesser coverage carrier (Sprint). I expressed how their website and advertisements are a bait and switch. Nowhere during the porting process was I informed that dynamic pricing is only for the Sprint carrier. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

The switch to wing was easy. They sent me a welcome kit and I was up and running in about 30 minutes. Their customer service is iffy. Sometimes it takes hours to get a response sometimes minutes. Work on your customer service timing and I could easily give 5 stars.

I've had Wing Tel, Inc. for about a week now. We just switched over 3 of our 4 lines. So far it has been a pretty good experience. Customer service isn't always the fastest to respond but for a younger startup (and for the price) that should probably be expected. The #1 compliant that I see a lot both online and here is the inability to get your port out information. I am not actively looking to switch carries but I asked for it and get it withing a few hours. I was told the normal response time for that dept is 24-48 hrs. I got a response within 2-3 hrs with the account # and pin. The one thing that I find a little weird is they only authenticate your account with your name, email, and phone number, something I feel anyone could get and impersonate you and make changes to your account. I have been told they are working on implementing some new security standards and for the moment they added a security question to my account (something I recommend that everyone do until they get this as a standard thing). Other than that for the price everything is great, service runs from *** towers and I had *** prior so I notice no service changes. I do notice a huge change in customer service though, a good one! Wing's customer service is amazing compared to ***, hands down.

After several months of being a Wing customer I feel obligated to share my experience. I originally heard about Wing through a friend, and was quite skeptical at first. I never wanted to go through the hassle of changing phone carriers. But thanks to Mikey, I was switched from *** to Wing in about 10 minutes time. I kept my phone number and my same phone (something I really thought was not possible). The switch was super simple and there was no down time between leaving *** and joining Wing. I was watching TV the whole time and they did everything for me. I never had to call *** or go to a store. Plus, my bill was cut in half without sacrificing coverage. I give Wing 10/10. If you think you are overpaying for your current cell bill and are interested in other options, I'm telling you, Wing is the real deal.
