I will contact broker and address my concern but I don't agree the way how your people from Estes work they sent driver unprepared I took time off from work to meet a driver and your manager Jonathan promised me to handle this issue but he didn't called me to reschedule delivery time. That's not right.

Please advise the Estes pro number (freight bill number) for our investigation.

estes is apparently not familiar with the law in california governing delivery windows.  i expect more .than a ridiculous blanket statement from them, as they clearly violated the law.  they violated the law willfullty.  when I called the company represented stated the driver did not follow the instructions he was given to make my delivery PRIOR to making a delivery in turlock.

(Civil Code Section 1722)
Whenever a contract is entered into for the sale of merchandise to be delivered at a later date, this bill requires retailers (with 25 or more employees) to specify a four-hour time period. This applies when the presence of the consumer is required at the time of delivery. The retailer may specify this four-hour time period either at the time of sale or a later date. If the merchandise is not delivered within that four-hour period (except for delays caused by unforeseen or unavoidable occurrences beyond the retailer's control), the consumer may bring an action in small claims court against the retailer for lost wages, expenses incurred, or other actual damages up to $500.

[redacted] On PRO[redacted] Estes trucking damaged my products during shipping. They top loaded freight onto my material and as a result did over $650 worth of damages. When I called to file a freight claim, they offered to pay me $65. That is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard. They referance some obscure small print in their paperwork. HOWEVER, I never signed nor was given that information prior to shipping. As the receiver of the item and owner, I am due the full amount from them for their obvious neglect and sub-par shipping practiceI want them to pay for the items that were damaged. The air cleaner for the engine is from 1970, they do not make them anymore. I have found one similar on [redacted] for $500. They also damaged the oil pan by crushing the motor when they top loaded freight. I had to buy a new on for $300. I want to be paid the FULL amount of $650 for the damaged caused by them.

If the company does not perform as promised I will get back to you at: [email protected] is clear their company representative, the driver, mislead the customer when accepting the shipment and gave her bad information on how to note the exemption. More than likely, there is a box sitting somewhere in one of their facilities that belongs to our company. If or when it has been found, we would like to be notified and the matter be made entirely right. Until then, we will accept the offer of 1/2 the price of the claim to help offset our losses from this matter.We have used Estes for over 10 years and have not had this sort of problem with them in the past. We were extremely loyal to them and oftentimes used their services even though we had lower quotes from their competitors. This experience has indicated to us that we will use different criteria in choosing LTL services in the future. Please note that since this issue, many LTL jobs have been awarded to Estes' competitors that they normally would have earned if this situation had not occurred. Perhaps the trust can be built up again in the future.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Since Estes Express was responsible for delivering my order that they lost it in transit, I expect Estes Express to offer some compensation for all the inconvenience and stress it has caused my family and me.   I have spent time reaching out to Estes Express and leaving numerous messages without receiving a reply; I have spent time on the phone with [redacted] tracking my order only to learn that the bathtub was lost in transit.  It would only be fair for Estes Express to offer at least $150 to compensate for the time I've spent on the phone and the inconvenience it has caused.
