I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.  Thank you very much for the assistance to resolve the issue quickly.I would like to comment here how unethical and unprofessional Woburn Toyota was through this.After the payment of the down payment of $5000, they did not notify us of the issue on the title on their own, and very rudely hanged up on the phone calls inquiring the status stating they don't have time to talk with us for one week.  I had to come and visit to Woburn Toyota to find out myself.Even at the time we did not get the reason why the car could not be sold after all nor any apology.I still think this is almost a fraud to sell a car which they can not present the title.Then took 3 days to get the refund o be confirmed.  Until I get this confirmed, I can not proceed with another car purchase.Now, after 2 weeks, we need to go for the car search.  We have to get a rental car until we have another car purchase. It has been the worst experience ever on the car purchase and there's no respect on the customers from Woburn TOYOTA.

tested the gas in vehicle. its leaving oily residue. Vehicle has bad gas, and it burned fuel pump while trying to start the vehicle over and over.. Drained gas out of tank and installed new fuel pump. Vehicle started but running rough. Inspected tank and black residue was found.
Flushed the tank several times to remove as much residue as possible. ** Note it may be in fuel lines and can cause an issue over time**

Woburn Toyota apologizes for the troubles this may have caused you. Titles are a troublesome part of our business based on state requirements after payoffs. We will research the down payment refund and ensure it is processed today if it has not been on your original request.[redacted]...

[I am not requesting the refund, although I should have done it here to boost the process and let more people know of the scam by Woburn Toyota. The dealership told me that my finance was approved multiple times before April 4th, 2016, it’s interesting that they deny it now. I have attached a snapshot of the last email the salesman sent me telling me that they "went with a different bank to get you approved", FYI. I also attached the registration of the vehicle and the registration cancellation receipt. The vehicle was registered to me from 03/23/16 to 04/08/16, I called the clerk of my town, Burlington, MA, and I was told that I would be responsible for the March and April portion of the excise tax of that vehicle. Who's more credible? The clerk of my town or this dealership? In the complaint, I haven’t mentioned other costs incurred to me yet,  for example, I had to order a new plate and overnight it to me since the dealership lost the plate on my old car. The dealership should be grateful rather than keep playing their little games. Again, I request a letter from Woburn Toyota stating that the dealership will cover the March and April portion of the excise tax of the [redacted] they sold me. And I also request Woburn Toyota to provide photocopies of the following documents: Odometer disclosure statement of the [redacted] they sold me, purchase contract, Bill of sale Certificate of origin of that vehicle and the privacy form I signed. In addition, since the dealership keeps being dishonest to me, I request the dealership to cover the overnight postage fee of the plate, I can provide the receipt. Thanks.]

We installed an alarm that the customer purchased for $699 in the car. Woburn Toyota has refunded the customer, mailed a receipt to the customer. Credit Card companies normally take 36-48 hours to show the refund on the customers account

In response to this message I do not want to get into a he said she should immature response over this. The customer bought a great car for a very great price. we did lose the title & we did find the title and completed the transaction.

Woburn Toyota makes every attempt to finance our customers. Certain restrictions on lending and credit status may cause a loan to be approved or denied. Credit Bureau Agencies allow various numbers of inquiries for the same purpose before effecting credit...
