I don't have words to describe the regret I feel from choosing YBT for my cross country moveThe is the most unprofessional company we've worked with in moves over the last decadeYBT lost over half of our belongingsCountless emails and phone calls to them went unanswered or unreturnedOur only request was their help in findings our precious family heirlooms that were lost, which they ignoredNo effort was made on their part to even try to find out what happened to our belongings they lost Rather than describe the sad details of our move, my main goal in writing this review is to help others avoid making a terrible mistake by using YBTPlease use a reputable company rather than choose a seemingly cost-saving optionYBT lost $20,of our valuables, in additional to the $5,YBT charged us for the moveI have cried more times than I can count over what YBT lost, including precious gifts from my now-deceased grandparents P.SThey claim to be insured, however their insurance company denied our claim and provided no compensation for all the goods YBT lost

Absolute [redacted] company! Won't mention the missed pickup dates or missed delivery dates, or the hand truck that I bought for the move and shipped with them that disappeared, or the granite slab that likewise vanished, or the commercial oven that had its front glass shattered Or that they charged me 25% more upon delivery than the high estimateMy main complaint is that every box that was labeled "fragile" appeared to have been targeted My power tools made it, but the wife's ceramics, in multiple plastic totes and her tea cup collection (again in a tote) arrived crushed! Do not do business with these people!

CSI is a 3rd party company that handles our claims I was not aware for many months that they were not responding to the customer and processing her claimSince I have been made aware we have made sure that CSI has all documents needed to complete the claim for the Customer and now it is in the hands of CSI to finish They tell people it can take up to months to complete We are waiting for the company to finish the process and forward on to YBT Vanlines the results of the claim I have had correspondence with the customer Sousan since and have let her know that we've made sure they have everything they need to finish the processes We do not control CSI and must wait for them to complete there report We will remain on top of things and try to get a result as soon as possible Faith

[redacted] contacted YBT vanlines to move his items to Alaska from CAOn his paperwork his First Date Available for Delivery is stated as August **, According to the paperwork signed at the pick up of the goods, YBT VanLines has up to Business days to attempt delivery of the items to the residence desiredShould YBT Van Lines deliver outside of the Business days allowed, he will be compensated $per Business day every Business day we are lateUpon request, we can provide documentation

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our customer however, we did not have knowledge of the claim requestCurrently it has been handled, CSI Pros does have the appropriate documentation to complete the claim process Again we do apologize, we were not notified that there was an issue with her claimWe encourage the customer to contact us immediate if there is any further delay so that we may follow up and expedite this as quickly as possible Please have customer call Eva at ###-###-#### She may reach me at ###-###-####This situation usually is handled through the company because the customer notifies the company directly and we can take care of the issue and follow up and find out what is needed to complete the claim for the customer If there is anything further I can do to assist this matter please let me know Thank You Faith

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I have sent a message sent from YBT to [redacted] from [redacted] This is the text sent and the attachment is in that e-mail This company has raised the price by $from its original agreement This is the message that we replied with"am sorry, This is not what I was told I would be signing nor am I comfortable in signing this, this is not correct nor do I agree to the terms of what I told to me....You are dismissing the fact that you made arrangements to pick up our storage goods, I paid a deposit of $was told $at delivery of items Your company did not show for pick up, which I spent Airline tickets, a car rental, a babysitter for days that you did not show I had to call repeatedly with no responses until days later and had you look at your records and you explained to me how this was a terrible mistake, Britney explained to me she was going to make this right, and due to I had to fly back, that she would not charge me anything extra and will take care of all the items, she assured me this when I was going to cancel the pidue to the no show of picking up the items Britney further explained how she will make this right and make a huge discount off the price I explained that this was reported to Revdex.com and that when my items were delivered, I had already called the Revdex.com agent and will delete the case My items were not scheduled, in the account it was put TBA, which now the two weeks went to almost a month These items were form my wife's grandmother who passed away and had a huge impact in her life, which now you hold ransom, you now will not give the proper credit, you have raised the price to an amount that is far and beyond to the original agreement This mistake is YBT's alone, It is Britney who made us believe this will be made up Now you want to take our deposit of $and then add more cost to the agreed $to $1309, along with the driver dropped items off the truck while loading the items from our storage unit into the truck You made it clear if we don't sign this and because a complaint was made to Revdex.com which in this case is why this company is their to protect the consumers, is for this exact case that leads to believe it is extortion You now hold our items ransom because of your mistakes and tricked us raise the price from pick up until delivery...It was you that did not show to pick up our items, you robbed us the chance to remove items that were to much for the space paid for on the truck, you assured us you would take care of it and give us a break to make this right You have shown no accountability but have taken advantage of a situation that was your wrong doing, this appears to be a scam and extortion and for this not to be reported to Revdex.com would an injustice to future customers that need to be aware of your trickery, scam traits, and promises It is not right to threaten us and your bad business needs to be reported" This business continues to raise the price unless we cancel or reject our complaint to Revdex.com as they write incorrect information back to Revdex.com This company made the daters and arrangement to pick up the items, did not show for original piwhich caused the additional charges we suddenly were made aware of when items are in route to deliver At this point, unless we pay we will not get our items, we will be forced to pay tomorrow with cash or cashier check of $to the driver at am, [redacted] March 2016; and they keep our $deposit In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I wish I would have looked into reviews before choosing this company, but I'm not surprised one bit that they only have a one star I wish you could give lessStarting out I thoughteverythingwasfine, they fought hard to give me a good price and estimated the square footage of each items and scheduled my pickup dayin a day windowI called them the2nd day into my day pickup window with no answeri called the 3rd day no answer....received a call later that day saying my truck was full and they didn't have a new pickup date yet My pickup was latemultiple days late to come pick up my thingsso late I had already left the state and had to have my grandmother meet with them to pick up my things The movers were an additional hours late and my grandma had to wait in her carMy storage unit hold cubic square feet, they told me that all my items in the storage unit came to (tell me how that works) after picking up my items they said he'd do my a favor and only charge me for square feetthat's still square feet more then the max capacity of a storage unit which was not even completely full I was originally quoted square feet for $1,They then told me I was to pay $2,instead!!!!! Mind you I'm a single mother who had to save for months to move across the country for a better life for my son and IThey wouldn't budge, they had no remorse as I cried on the phonepay up or don't get your stuff attitudeI had to borrow the money from my grandmabecause they held my items captive and for what? weeks later they arriveitems broken, missdestroyed! I'm told by the movers I can call the office and start a claimguess who doesn't answer the phone? Supriseguess who hasn't returned any of my voicemails? You guessed it these piratesDon't waste your money moving with ybt vanlines you're better off taking a sledge hammer to your things and buying all new stuff when you arrive to your destinationThese guys are crooks and I'm reporting them to the Revdex.com and looking into a lawyer as we speakDon't let them do this to you, without my grandma my son and I would have only had bag of clothes

DO NOT USE THIS CompanyThey give you a great bid, then charge you double that after they load the truckWhen they drive off with your belongings you cant reach them againI have contacted an attorney to get my furnishings returned and pay only the quote I was givenYBT Van Lines should be shut down..They are crooked

The movers whom load at Az were so respectful and careful with their Job, BUT whom delivered all my furniture in Florida they were a real mess, they were no professionals on doing his work, the Florida driver come with six young mens and five of them were kind but with out knowledge of what they were doing, One of them was with a very bad attitude and bad language, My Expensive Furniture that I have been taken care for a long time period was into the truck like Garbage, all piled up, this caused Broken of so many items and lost of pieces and wood legs lost, It was a really mess, They forgot a pound Power Plate on top of a DollyI choose this company because they quoted me a very good price, at end it doubled, and now my furniture is a really mess, broken and lost!

[They said they would honor the competitor's quote who was actually their at the home giving their estimate and the not to exceed estimate of $ YBT...said they would honor that quote.....and the service rep for YBT (Faith) said she would be with me all the way supporting this agreement.....we have recieved one phone call in weeks with numerous attempts to this company........we then got a call on 10-**-stating they would get back to us within a couple hours hoping to resolve this issue.......we have not heard from them since Nothing but a problem...we cant even schedule a delivery with these people and now have lost storage units.....they are very dishonest.....this seems to be a problem with this company based on other complaints....had we known and had better judgementAnswer Here]

I contacted the company again and left a voicemailAfter receiving a call back from customer service I was informed that because I put a bad review of the company publicly there's nothing the company will do for me in houseThe girl said that they don't issue refunds or credits to customers who write negative reviewsI asked to speak to the manager and was transferred to a voicemailI left a message and have not heard back since.
