I am rejecting this response because:
I found this message in my junk folder, and have read the response from CallMeVanLines, and find it totally unacceptable.  It was an affront to me to tell me they have given my $50.00 credit on account for packing supplies redeemable at any Call me van lines establishment, like I am going to move again.  Beside the cost originally quoted by Hertz Van Lines for the cost of the move, I was charged $4000.00 more, had damages unclaimed because I did not file in 90 days, and had over $2000.00 worth of items like a smart TV, new vaccum, lamp, jewelry and a new aluminum ladder stolen.  The move cost over $10,000 total.  $50. credit, give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Valued Client,

Greeting from Call Me Van Line. Thank you for your inquiry. We appreciate you sharing your concerns with the Revdex.com, and welcome the opportunity to resolve your concerns with our company.
First and foremost I am sorry to hear you...

feel this way, and if you stopped agreeing with the terms and conditions of our agreement that you had been contracted during your reservation. I completely understand your position and I hope you can understand ours. Be advised that your shipment is based on weight; however, it is also based on the items you went through in great detail with your moving broker upon making the reservation for your move. If you are moving more items than what is on your order then your price will be more, and, on the contrary; if you move less items than your order shows your price will obviously be less. By basing the actual charges on the actual weight of your shipment we are not only protecting our consumer, but our company as well. For this exact same reason we require that our clients review and execute not only their Estimate/Order For Service and Inventory List (to ensure its’ accuracy) but also the Terms and Conditions of our agreement in an effort to avoid confusion and/or hearsay prior and/or subsequent to the relocation process. At the moment of pickup of your move you were prompted to read and accept our terms and conditions in order to proceed. That is considered a legal contract obligation between the service provider and shipper. I am very sorry if you now regret for what you have previously accepted. Our cancellation and refund policy is completely transparent. I am grateful that your request was brought to my attention and I appreciate your perseverance in settling this matter. Once again, I am very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.
To encourage you to continue to use our services in the future, and as a tangible means of acknowledging your disappointment with your mover we have previously emailed you a claim form to have your filed reviewed for compensation. Please complete the claim form so we may submit to our third party claims processor for compensation.
I would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will help us improve our operations and services. If there are any other issues that need to be addressed, now or in the future, please don't hesitate to contact the owner personally by phone, email, or in person.

Dear [redacted]:

I am writing you regarding your rejection of our initial response to your complaint with our company. I apologize that you feel our response did not resolve your disputes, and welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to help any way we can. In the meantime, all of the discrepancies you disclosed to us in your initial dispute are mentioned in our contract executed and signed by you prior to our moving services being conducted. Our contract is lucid in nature and clearly states our claims policy with lucid instructions on how to file a claim, along with detailed information about what items should not go on to a moving truck such as jewelry. Please take a moment to review those documents, and feel free to give us a call any time to discuss. We are here to help you with all of your moving needs, and look forward to helping you resolve your disputes. You may reach us at ###-###-####.

I am rejecting this response because:
Call Me Van Line is now saying that I knew about my furniture being damaged beyond repair and stated that I said to deliver it anyway. This is totally false and utterly ridiculous! I never said anything even remotely close to that! First of all, I would never put furniture or anything damaged beyond repair into a storage facility and pay on it for 26 months. Secondly, Call Me Van Line does not know that I left a point of contact in El Paso, Texas who was listed on my contract at the storage facility with authority to check on my furniture. My friend in El Paso, who had his own key, had just checked on my furniture only weeks prior to Call Me Van Line picking up my furniture on Oct 4th and needless to say, there was NO new damage, just a little dusty. Yes, I did have minor scratches on mt dresser and bed posts but my Laura Ashley bedroom was in near new condition. Now one of the post is loose and the nightstand has a wood chunk missing at the bottom and the drawer doesn't completely close. Because my friend forgot the gate code, the staff had to call me for authorization to give him access so they too are aware that he was there so try again because I have witnesses. I also have other witnesses (hired helpers) who were present when I unwrapped the couch, loveseat and other broken items. I am without a livingroom set and still dealing with their unprofessional services on a daily basis. I would have never selected these people based on their awful reviews and wish I'd never heard of them! Ni one could have done a worse job...
Call Me Van Line stated that they discounted the shuttle fee or that I didn't pay it, but they did not mention that they only delivered my furniture to a uhaul facility, not my home so why should I have paid for a shuttle when the driver unloaded my things into my uhaul and left me on the side of the road. They knew my things were damaged which is why I was not even allowed to see anything. No one would wrap up furniture damaged to that extent unless they did it. They apparently moved my furniture around unprotected and damaged it and then wrapped it up or some crazed person damaged it deliberately because I wouldn't adhere to all of their ridiculous fees. Check their reviews because this is far from being the only case. They are all crooks working for a con man and it needs to stop immediately! I want a full refund AND to be compensated for my damaged goods and all of my frustration.
Nothing else will suffice!!!!!
Regards,

Dear Mrs. F[redacted]:
I am writing in response to your rejection of our response to your Revdex.com complaint.
In an effort of good faith; and to show you how important you are to us as a client we were willing to reevaluate your claim for further compensation; however, as I stated in my previous letter, our services have been rendered as stated in our agreement. In addition; your claim was paid out in its entirety as per the terms and conditions of the agreement you executed with our company. With that said please review the following terms and conditions from our agreement:

For example, the settlement for an audio component valued at $1,000 that weighs 10 pounds would be $6.00 (10 pounds times 60 cents). Dollar Estimate of the cost of your move under the 60 cents option. COMPLETE THIS PART ONLY if you wish to WAIVE The Full (Replacement) Level of Protection included in the higher cost estimate provided [above] [on the prior page] for your shipment and instead select the LOWER Released Value of 60 cents per pound Per Article; to do so you must initial and sign on the lines below I wish to Release My Shipment to a Maximum Value of 60 cents per pound per Article. In addition to the latter,
please be advised that our internal notes that are date and time stamped, and
are unable to be altered indicate that our Customer Service, Dispatch, and
Insurance Departments as well as their respective supervisors remained in
continuous contact with you throughout the relocation process with
regards to estimating the cost to relocate based on the description of
items to be transported, discussing estimated pickup and delivery dates,
explaining Insurance coverage options, as well as giving information on the
claims processes and procedures. For this exact
same reason we require that our clients review and execute not only their
Estimate/Order For Service and Inventory List (to ensure its’ accuracy) but
also the Terms and Conditions of our agreement in an effort to avoid confusion
and/or hearsay prior and/or subsequent to the relocation process.
We have made every effort to work with you on your claim, even offering to reevaluate and compensate beyond the scope of our agreement. With that said we look forward to your response.

Complaint: 11745275
I am rejecting this response because:
Call Me Van Lines states that their move was weight based.  When I booked with New Amsterdam Van Lines, a full inventory of everything I was moving was given to the representative.  The dispatch manager stated they had a truck with 7500 lbs of available weight that would be picking up my things. However, when the move was contracted out to Call Me Van Lines and they arrived, I was told by the movers that I was estimated at 800 cubic feet.  The movers walked through the house and stated that our things would take up 2000 cubic feet and they would have to give me a new estimate based on that space.  At this point, New Amsterdam was contacted and told me that I was being charged $3.15 a cubic foot, so that I could calculate out the price myself. So obviously, this move was based on cubic feet and not weight.
Call Me Van Lines also stated in their response that I added more items than were on the original inventory.  Nothing new was added to my inventory list and, in fact, we decided not to take 3 large pieces of furniture that were on the original list. Also, when the movers were finished, they were unable to fit several items that were on the original inventory list including a full size mattress and box spring, a large vase, a coffee table, and a bookshelf.  I had no choice but to abandon these items at the house as I had no way to ship them at this point.  So not only did I not add any new furniture, chose to leave behind 3 large pieces of furniture, but they were unable to accommodate multiple items that I wanted to keep.
My original signed agreement was with New Amsterdam Van Lines. Call Me Van Lines had different terms and conditions that I felt I had no choice but to sign, given the circumstances. After the movers were 3 hours late and so much time had been spent going over new pricing, it was too late in the day and other business had closed preventing me from renting a truck myself or hiring another company.  I had to be out of the house that day.  I had no choice but to accept the new terms and, unfortunately, the drastically increased price.
While the movers were disassembling furniture, they did not have all the proper tools and had to use what tools they had which resulted in damage to some of the furniture, particularly the dining room table.  After the movers had left, I noticed that they had left all the hardware for all the furniture.  I spent approximately 1 hour walking around all the rooms, feeling through the carpet for the screws that belonged to the bed frame, dining room table, and futon.
After the movers had packed the truck to capacity, I noticed that they did not pack 2 of the dining room chairs.  I asked them what I was supposed to do about the chairs, to which they shrugged their shoulders.  They stated there was no room on the truck.  When the mover presented the final paperwork for me to sign he stated there was a section where I could write comments if I chose, indicating I could write good comments about them. I asked him if I was to write a good comment, if they would fit the remaining 2 chairs on the truck.  They stated they would, and then were able to accommodate the final 2 dining chairs.  To hold up my end of the deal I felt I must write that they had done a good job.
Yes, Call Me Van Lines can respond stating that I had agreed to policies and procedures. Yes, I did. But I felt that I must sign since I was under time constraints to leave, and I felt coerced and bargained with to sign certain documents and write certain comments.
Also, Call Me Van Lines did not address the issue of my being told that I could pay for the move with credit card and then once my things were in their possession, this statement was retracted and I was given no choice, due to finances, but to pay for a moving truck with a credit card and retrieve my things from California.

This company gave me a quote of $1700.00 to move my 1 bedroom apartment, when they came to pack me they sent a sub contractor who quickly doubled the original quote and told me if I didn't like the revised quote I could use another company, needless to say he had me by the [redacted] because I needed to move out of my apartment that day and get to my destination to start a new job. Call me van lines never discussed a sub contractor during negotiations and would not assist me. Once my furniture arrived to my new location they called and told me there may be an additional $500.00 charge because the truck probably wouldn't be able to access our apartments due to the size of the truck. Call me a crook van lines should never be used by anyone reading this review. They also have an employee named [redacted]who shouldn't be trusted.

I hired Hertz vanlines to move my stuff from California to Texas (w/o realized that they were brokers only) they then hired Call me vanlines to do the moving job . They picked up my stuffs on May 30, 2016 , kept them @ their warehouse in California since I didn't have a certain destination in Houston yet ! I was told that my first month storage was free then $345 was charged for each following month. I called David on first week of July to have him move my stuffs to my storage in Houston Texas.. After over 2 weeks my stuffs finally arrived to my storage, there was only 1 mover , he was very nice ..most of my boxes were torn... I missed 6 boxes & other stuff .. My dishes were broken (I didn't get a chance to open all of the boxes yet) my furniture is still covered with their old blankets (wondered why they didn't take them back ) so wouldn't know its condition... BTW David tried to cheat me $500 more than what I supposed to pay & Hertz vanlines had to step in to solve that issue .! David hardly returned my messages or phone calls. If we ever had conversations on the phone, he hung up on my face which were very unprofessional manner .
I would definitely go with a non brokerage moving company if I would move again in the future

The owner of this company is very rude. Hired this company to do a simple move from LA to Lancaster. The move was quoted one price but after the completion of the move I was charged $200 additional and my furniture was damaged. Tried contacting the company and nothing was resolved. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I had to go to court to get a judgment against this company and owner, David K.. He moves so often that is was hard to find him and serve him but finally he showed up in court and tried to have the case dismissed. I tried meditation with him that failed. Won my judgment but he immediate directed his employee who showed up in court for him the last time to appeal the decision. This move has cost more money than I imagined, the movers were polite but they damaged a medically necessary massage chair, a very exclusive poster bed and a brand new chester d. and he offered me $38. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by anyone to this magnitude. The owner is very unprofessional and a con.

I am rejecting this response because:
I spoke to the owner directly today.  He is now changing his story that the total amount due was 4000, and no money is owed.  Except I have text records that show him stating his company would credit my card.  Their first response to the Revdex.com even stated it!  When I told him that all my records show 2800 as the agreed upon amount, he stated "Then dispute the credit card charge" followed by "I'll see you in court".  I will gladly provide printouts of every email communication that was made between myself and this company, screenshots of every text, voicemail recordings and photos to back up that I did exactly as I was told, and now they are attempting to steal $1260 from me.  Please help..

I saw Valerie supervising my neighbor's moving job. I went over to her and asked for a card. Even though she was so busy she took the time to be courteous and explained how she could give me an estimate for the move. Andrew was so helpful in coordinating the inventory of what I was moving and items I needed to have discarded. David was so nice confirming the details for the moving day and providing moral support to make sure everything was ready to go. The two young men they sent were so professional and polite. Andrew saw to every detail of the move. They wrapped items so they wouldn't be scratched. They moved a glass drafting table with such care. Nothing was damaged. You have a wonderful team on staff. Thank you for making a stressful day go so easy!

Review: Labeled a service issue but would have chosen all of the above. This company pays money to erase complaints. Don't let the high rating fool you it is a facade. First of all they hire contractors. They also do not provide any of the packing supplies advertised. The worst part of all is I had to help load, wrap, and pack all of my cargo. The "guy" on the other end of the only phone number they answer wouldn't give his name. He also is rude and not very bright. Doubles original quote always. Even tried to get me to deposit money into a bank account instead of paying by cash of check. Was never able to produce any documents or contracts to back up his claims. Also was unable to provide any information regarding company policies. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody. They are crooks and even have the tenacity to admit that they threaten and hold belongings hostage in order to get paid. He quite blatantly on the phone told he is threatening me. Do not choose this Call Me Vanlines as your moving company.Desired Settlement: The correct resolution would be to charge me for my original estimate and deliver my goods. I would also like a formal apology.

GOOD MORNING PLEASE SE ETACHMENT AND REMOVE COMPLAINTTHANKE YOU D[redacted]OperationsMoving APT ###-###-####[email protected]://www.movingapt.com

100% positive experience! I've moved several times in the last handful of years so I have plenty of comparisons to rely on. This company was just plain great to work with. I loved that they were a family run business. The whole staff was completely accessible, available, and even cheerful about offering useful advice and answering my questions beforehand, as well as delivering packing supplies, etc. Their staff working in the office had the same helpful attitude. The estimate was very reasonable, prompt and professional, and I felt confident that there would be no surprises. As it turned out, I was right. Mine was a 20-day move about 2,000 miles. The crew who loaded my household onto the truck was fast and efficient, and used extra caution and good sense. The truck was tightly packed to the gills when it became apparent that a few items were just not going to make it on the truck, despite their planning and maneuvering. They immediately sent for a second vehicle, a large van this time, and they explained that the additional expense of a second vehicle and additional gas costs were HIS problem and not mine. They stuck to the original agreement and did not charge me a penny more than the original price per pound. Moving IN day a few weeks later went beautifully. They were an extremely pleasant group of guys, they were on time after the lengthy drive, and unloaded very efficiently. At one point we were going to take a break for pizza, but they insisted on working straight through because there was a threat of rain coming our way and they didn't want to risk my furniture getting wet while unloading.

I could not be more pleased with the job they did. I would call on them without hesitation if I ever have to go through the burden of moving again! Call Me Van Line made it a painless process and I have only great things to say about their service. I very highly recommend Call Me Van Line!

I had a last minute move situation and needless to say not a clue on how to move. I had a small budget and really couldn't afford more than that, but I also needed to be out of my apartment and to my new job in less than a months time so needed to stick to both a budget and a time constraint was seeming to be impossible. Thankfully I hired Andrew at Call Me Van Line for the job, and boy were my expectations exceeded beyond belief! Andrew is not just a mover to me anymore. He's a friend, and someone I can trust. From the very first time we talked he was very straight forward with me on everything from how to pack, the dos and donts, and even reminded me on the little things like changing my address and cable bill etc. Everyone that came to move me was so helpful, and nice. They were funny nice guys too. I am just so happy to be able to write a review that is good for once. Other businesses need to take note from this company. Tired of receiving bad service and having to pay full price, or even worse, tip on top of it all. Tired of it! And I'm tired of it now because I finally see what REAL good service is, its what this company stands for clearly. Best service hands down!

Virtually everything about my move went very smoothly. From the initial conversation the salesman, to the packing of my household goods, to the final delivery, there were no surprises. All of my goods were accounted for and, so far, nothing has been broken (which is a first for me!). I highly recommend Call Me Van Line and would definitely use them again if I ever move.

Review: I had my stuff scheduled to be picked up today and was originally quoted for 600cuft from the broker company. The mover quickly came up with 850cuft quote just by looking at my storage unit. David, his boss called me and explained that it might not be the accurate quote but will know once they start loading it in the truck. I explained to him that I do not have enough money to pay and extra $1400 and he then informed me that he would have his guys load my stuff up until 600cuft and then call me to see what I wanted to do from there. My friend had his guys set my stuff that I was going to leave behind while they load up and get as much of my other stuff into the 600cuft space. David then called me back to tell me that all of my stuff was loaded in the truck and wanted proceed with a quote. I was upset because they did not call me to authorize it and they said they would call me at 600cuft. David then tried to say "your friend had to leave and couldn't stay any longer so my men had to pick it up" and I explained that he was wrong as my friend was in no hurry and they were done at 12... His attempt to lie to me failed. He then said he would call me back. He then told me that "his guy tried to contact him and he was busy" so he loaded it. How convenient it was that they couldn't communicate to me at the most important time of this process! I then called my friend to see what happened. He said that he informed the movers to stop at 600cuft twice and Osnid kept telling him to don't worry, we will take care of her she will be fine. The mover then told my friend that he's only signing to say that they picked up the stuff. One of the initials on the form is forged. My friend circled and initialed next to my original quote and informed him that he's not signing for additional space as the mover was filling stuff in afterwards. David was still trying to give me a quote and told me stop crying as it won't help anything. He was rude and called me back 6 hours later. They loaded without my consent.Desired Settlement: Since the company took it upon themselves to load the rest of my stuff with my consent, I believe that an acceptable resolution would be to honor my original quote for 600cuft. I'm a disabled veteran that suffers from many illnesses/injuries and unable to make this move myself and this caused me so stress today trying to fix it. I had an anxiety attack because of this incident. Any assistance in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

This claim is solve

I was fortunate to find this company because I had a move out date of Christmas Eve, no later, so the fact that they were able to accommodate me on a holiday was the best Christmas gift I have ever received, and more than worth a five star review. I was on the third floor and not exactly close to an elevator, but the guys took really good care of my stuff and I thankfully had zero damages. I moved 2300 miles from Cali to Tennessee, and it was really cool that all along my route I was getting text message and email updates from my movers. I always knew where they were and when my furniture would arrive. It was super comforting. When my stuff was weighed I was texted with the weight tickets, and my balance due so I could be ready on delivery. Everything just went really smooth and stress free, and didn’t involve 100 phone calls back and forth to coordinate everything. It was one phone call to reserve and these guys know what they are doing so well that I needed not to say more. I got my furniture today and the movers set up my whole home for me, and put everything where I told them too. Even put up with me when I wanted to move stuff around 3, maybe 4 times or so. They kept thanking me for my business, but really? Hello! I am the one who wants to say thanks to you! You guys are forever in my prayers, and the warmest holiday wishes to the entire Call Me Van Line Staf!

Call Me Van Line is really top notch in my book with professional, friendly, efficient staff that made the experience of moving less stressful. Careful, prompt and courteous, they were a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend the company to anyone that is looking for a reliable moving company with fair rates and fine service. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Getting an estimate for the job was also a smooth experience. I moved from Northern California to Southern New Hampshire November of 2015.

I am a lucky guy to have found these movers at Call Me. My move was not easy. Over two truck loads of over 20 years of my entire life just moved over two thousand miles across the US, not to mention my two cars, and my motorcycle, and Call Me handled everything so perfectly. I really appreciate the extra mile Andrew went for me to make sure my move went perfectly to plan. He spent countless house on the phone with me planning the details and making sure I was kept in the loop. It wasn’t an easy move, and I get that, but Call Me had the experience, the man power, and the care to get it done with ease. Thank you to Andrew and everyone at Call Me Van Line. Not only will I be recommending you to friends, I already have!
