Review: I used Alliance Moving service to move me. They hired Call Me Van Lines to move me. The mover showed up and instantly started talking about how expensive my things were and called D[redacted] the owner. They started moving my things and told me it would be $1500 more dollars or they would leave. I was in shock and had to move out that day. I wrote a check for it but was stunned. I didn't know what to do. The next day my mom was suspicious and started researching both Alliance Moving and Call Me Van Lines. There are hundreds of complaints about them being a scam. We called D[redacted] and said that we wanted to meet the truck wherever it was and he said it would cost us. After reading what happens with these movers we knew it could be 4 months late, they "lose" expensive items and charge even more on the delivery or hold the things hostage. My mom drove 3 hours to meet them with with $1200 in cash and had Winona, Minnesota police escort her. The driver insisted on money and she insisted she get the check back. They unloaded everything they said was mine and left. All the time with police watching. My mom had no way to know that these things were missing, but she refused to sign the delivery papers in the event there was a problem. We picked my things up and arrived in my new home and ...surprise the larger of my flat screen tv's, my new media console and a box that had Apple product boxes (I'm sure the movers thought they had electronics in them) are all missing. We called D[redacted] who now says we aren't his clients. My mother taped this mover and told him to promise everything was there and he looked down and said he wouldn't do it. This is a complete scam. We have filed a complaint with the Winona, Minnesota police department and would be happy to share the recording of these movers.Desired Settlement: I want them to pay for what is missing. A large flat screen tv and my brand new media console. In the box with the empty Apple boxes was my lifetime collection of tickets to all events I have attended since I was 9. Money cannot repay that. In that box were a very expensive flat iron and blow dryer. My mother paid them $1200.00 in cash and they never moved me and stole my things just like they have other people. I want that money refunded.

Review: I have deposited and scheduled a furniture pick up and delivery with Call Me Van Lines, out of Newton Ma. I called to re-schedule moving date and got a message that phone is no longer in service. Please call me regarding this matter Thank YouDesired Settlement: I want a deposit refund

This is the worst experience of my life! I would NEVER refer this company to anyone! They gave me a quote and then on the day of pick up came to my home and the cost went up $1100.00. I had to be out on this day so I did nit have the time to get anyone else to do the move. Then they were suppose to be at my home by noon and did not show up until 5:30 pm. I was moving from California to Virginia. They said that my stuff would be in Virginia in 2 weeks, well it's been 4 weeks and still nothing. They now are also charging me an extra $750.00 because they discovered that their truck can not come into the state of Virginia, so they have to rent another smaller truck to make the delivery. They have done nothing but lie to me over and over again. They pulled the Bait & Switch on me. I am a senior citizen with limited income and resources, and now they are telling me to rent my own truck and unload and reload and then unload everything again. There is ni way I can do this. These people are dishonest and inconsiderate. I have had to call or text them at least 30 times during the past two weeks to find out when they will be here. I have got nothing but excuses and lies. I will be filing an complaint against them, for dishonest business practices.

Review: The company 'Call Me!! Van Line' has moved our stuff from CA to FL.

The company hires daily helpers via Craigslist.com without any background check or interview.

Helper who came to my house, were under the drugs influence which was reported to the main office without any reaction. We had to let the movers go and technically move ourselves.

Once the delivery was made, the owner changed us for every possible extra stuff, such as packing material, which was NOT used because all the packing has been done prior to the move. He also changed us for the bulky items (this was not included in the original contact). When we started arguing with him (D[redacted]), his threatened us to keep our stuff in hostage unit we pay him. We we did not have any other choice but pay him. After how our stuff was unloaded, we discovered that a few of large items such as 'mattress' and 'picture' frame was completely damaged. The movers told me that I need to contact D[redacted] to file a claim. I did, but nothing has happened and D[redacted] ignored my emails and my calls.

I called the actually dealer, Alliance Moving Services in hope that they might be able to help me,but they told me that since they do not work with this company any longer, there is nothing they can do. This is unacceptable!!Desired Settlement: I need get refunds for the damaged items by processing my claim.

We resolved this with the customer by compensating her $900 and having her sign a Full and Final for the compensation.

This company gave me a quote of $1700.00 to move my 1 bedroom apartment, when they came to pack me they sent a sub contractor who quickly doubled the original quote and told me if I didn't like the revised quote I could use another company, needless to say he had me by the [redacted] because I needed to move out of my apartment that day and get to my destination to start a new job. Call me van lines never discussed a sub contractor during negotiations and would not assist me. Once my furniture arrived to my new location they called and told me there may be an additional $500.00 charge because the truck probably wouldn't be able to access our apartments due to the size of the truck. Call me a crook van lines should never be used by anyone reading this review. They also have an employee named [redacted]who shouldn't be trusted.

It was a pleasure for Teri and I to meet you and be introduced to Call Me Van Line, especially with such a strong recommendation from CNL Industries, someone who we among many think very highly of. Even with the strongest of recommendations from CNL and your excellent assurances, I must admit that we still had significant consternation over the pending move. The reasons were because we had never had what we would call an excellent moving experience in 50 years and 20+ moves. That is until now. Teri and I cannot properly describe our pleasure and praise for the team of Call Me Van Line movers you assigned to our move. They could not have been more polite and courteous or more experienced at being careful with our treasured belongings. Andrew, Jeffery and the others were beyond exceptional. We are embarrassed to admit that in 5 days we have forgotten the names of the others. No reflection on them, but a personal memory issue. We have been so busy unpacking. It rained all day on the 19th to Teri’s horror and your men out performed her expectations of protecting our belongings without fail. Your strong assurances of signing up with Call Me Van Line was comforting, but in Teri’s and my experiences approximately 98% of all people and companies we work with have one problem in common; that being that their resulting actions never match their words! The problem was bad enough in Utah and seemed to increase dramatically here in Florida our last 10 years here. You and your Call Me Teams’ actions matched your words perfectly, which again, was beyond our expectations since we had never experienced a perfect move, let alone with such experienced and polite and courteous gentlemen in challenging weather. We will give you our strongest recommendation to our 53 condo owners here and adjoining Homeowner Associations and dozens of local friends and realtors. Sincerely, John & Teri… PS: We will forward by snail mail an additional tip for Andrew to distribute.
