Unfortunately, in the automotive field, businesses are presented with difficult jobs that entail unforeseen challenges This particular vehicle presented AZM with such challenges From the beginning, AZM notified the customer of the work that was suggested, along with labor/part
quotes and was given permission to continue the work directly from the customer This particular vehicle was only manufactured for a short period of time, so the parts required to make repairs had to be special ordered and cost both AZM and the customer more money than the typical repairs These issues would have been presented from any auto shop in the valley The difference being, AZM is a small family run business that is honest and prides itself if offering fair prices for work that MUST be done, rather than work that MAY need to be done The customer paid a total amount of $for work that any other shop would have charged in excess of $ We at AZM are not in the practice of releasing a vehicle that is not up to high standard running condition This particular vehicle was released to the customer with an entirely different issue than was originally repaired It was not related to any work that was done, nor was it a result of negligence The customer was notified of the new issue and decided, himself, to decline more service In attempts to keep relations between AZM and the customer on good standing, AZM waived all accrued labor in order to stay within the original quote amount This was an expense that AZM absorbed and we were glad to do so In the end, AZM did not make any revenue on this repairWe did the best we could do and stand by our decisions Thank you for the opportunity to reply

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>... response;I only partially accept the business's explination I do of course really thank them for most of the refund due me ie...($100.99)Their internal billing person leaving, technically is not my issue and if billing is handled outside their company, maybe this complaintthrough Revdex.com should be addressed to that entity directly instead?Info; The balance of my refund, as they informed me, is an issue between them and my suppliment insurance [ AETNA ].I understand this dispute has been going on since MARCH This length of delay of any dispute, in my opinion is unreasonableto say the least Even though, I personally did not even know of any dispute until JULY, four months later To this day, I still do noteven know what this dispute is all about If I had been informed about it way back in April, I might have been able to clear it up then.Just how long of a dispute delay is LONG enough?Sincerely,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Susan is completely incorrectWe did not forget the income, we did TRY to report it, but because no one knew how to file it they did not want to deal with itwe were told that it was not needed TWICE! Whether there was a "R" or not on our paper should have rang a bell in these so called "professional minds"Yes, I contact you upon the first receipt of the letter, "my trusted tax preparer" to get back to me, seeing how this was a trusted person/place of business I assumed there was no urgencyOoooops for trusting in youYes I was told by the first preparer that I did not need that paperYes, I told Susan that I had a document that only read, AGAIN SINCE APPARENTLY IT IS NECESSARY TO REPEAT MYSELF, no "r" was on my form, and YES she did say that that was NOT NEEDEDYes I will continue to tell people of her negligence because it is trueNothing has been made up, the fact of the matter is very simple, so simple I can't unsterstand why it seems to be so difficult to grasp, Susan did not preform her job to the best of her abilities, and I WAS misinformed by her employee, then her, and I was not contacted about ANYTHING in a timely matterIt even took just about 2weeks to respond to this! There isn't anything wrong with me making sure people know of Susan's malpractice so they do not go through this nonsense themselves.

I have avoided making inflammatory statements about Ms*** complaint However, I will now provide the information that has until now remained unreported When the *** came to have their tax return prepared, they did not bring the 1099-R tax form that is in dispute We are not accountable for the negligence of a client and, of course, we are not liable for THEIR omission Quite simply, they could not and did not provide the document to us at the time of tax preparation or when I asked her for it in September All of my staff are well trained and would NEVER tell a client they didn't need a form She also stated in her complaint that I told her I didn't need the form In fact, I did not need the form because the information from the missing document was, in fact, included in the letter from the IRS I explained that to her at the time since she could not provide the original form I understand and sympathize with every client who struggles with the complexity of their Federal taxes, but our responses are thoughtful, cogent, and accurate Sometimes people are so busy trying to understand that they miss the point entirely Reams of documentation and signed paperwork detailing the actual documents provided at the time of tax preparation can be provided to substantiate the fact that the 1099-R form was not given to my staff member It will require a written release from the client in order to provide as attachments here. When Ms;*** first contacted me, she had no idea what the IRS was billing additional taxes for My question is, "how can someone overlook thousands of dollars of income"? We are not mindreaders and we ask EVERY client if there are any tax forms that they haven't received yet I personally told her at every step that final approval would come from Corporate I NEVER said that I had ANY authority to make that determination In fact, our tax preparation accuracy is so high that this is only the 2nd claim for Gold Guarantee Insurance that I have ever processed in over years I explained that Corporate was the final authority in spite of my belief at the time that the guarantee might apply I did make that mistake and have apologized profusely Consider this: If clients were eligible for this type of reimbursement, most cases would be fraud People would leave forms off intentionally with the expectation the guarantee would cover the discrepancy and any additional tax I truly hope that is not the case here We are NOT responsible for assuring all tax forms are provided That is and always has been the client's responsibility If the form was mailed to them but to the wrong address, it is also a client's responsibility to provide a change of address to the United States Post Office AND to ALL PARTIES from whom they received income There was a delay in responding to several of Ms*** calls There were private circumstances beyond my control as a result of a death in my immediate family I am the only person who can process Gold Guarantees through corporate An additional reason for rejecting the claim was that Ms*** could not provide the original letter from the IRS That is required She assured me she would "find" it and provide ASAP That never happened It would not have changed the outcome, but it was an important element When she did not respond to the original letter from the IRS, they sent out a second letter (the only one she could provide), so there is considerable delay on her part as well Second letters are never sent out until MORE than days have passed with no response from the taxpayer MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL!!! She NEVER READ THE GOLD GUARANTEE DOCUMENTS PROVIDED TO HER AT THE TIME OF TAX PREPARATION All her questions would have been answered and all this avoided I am not denying that there were missteps on my part Life happens and I have apologized many times The only compensation I can offer is to pay any interest that accrued from the date of her initial call to me til the date I called her with the final results of the GG review and decision on October 8, It will probably be about $since according to my records her first call originated on September 11, This entire process was addressed in less than days from initial call until final resolution by Corporate However, I will need accurate documentation to provide that reimbursement Her threats to post comments on social media websites may come at a cost Not only do I have a lawyer on retainer, but JH Corporate takes any unfounded and malicious accusations against corporate and franchisees very, very seriously Written defamation is libel; oral defamation is slander Both seem to be at play here and should it continue, Ms*** can expect to receive "Notice of Intent to Sue" Social media is closely monitored nationwide by Corporate While she is certainly unhappy with us/me, the circumstances clearly do not warrant her threats and inaccurate statements.I am so sorry that their error was not covered by the Gold Guarantee and I wish I could provide some type of relief But it is industry policy that Franchisees are NOT allowed to cover tax bills from the IRS unless it is a qualified claim against a program such as the Gold Guarantee Client errors are not covered; preparation errors are.Respectfully, Susan S*Franchisee - New Mexico & Texas###-###-####

March 2, 2017Revdex.comATTN: *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***Dear *** ***,This letter is in response to complaint # ***, filed by Ms, *** ***Ms*** filed her tax return and requested a direct deposit into her bank accountThe customer
must give us her account information, as of course we would not have it unless provided by the customerWe do have the direct deposit account information form which was signed by Ms***When the customer realized that the account was closed, she then claimed that she did not give us that account informationAgain, we have the signed paperwork showing that, this was the account she requested her refund to be deposited inWhen an account is closed, the bank immediately returns the data to us to print the check for the clientThis process is quick and is accomplished in 1-days.Ms*** then came to our Banksville Rdoffice and demanded all of her tax preparation fees backShe was extremely hostile and wouid not accept the fact that her refund couid not be deposited into a closed account, and would simply be sent back to Jackson Hewitt, and a check then printed for herThere were three tax preparers, myself and one customer witnessing the incidentWhen I saw that our female tax preparer who was trying to help Ms*** was in tears, I stepped in to explain how the process would workAt no time was I disrespectful or rudeI never once made any racial comment! I have been in business in Pittsburgh for years, and will not allow my name and company to be fraudulently accused of racism! Since we have cameras in the office we have the entire incident on film with sound.Ms*** did receive her full expected federal refund check, as promised; she picked it up and signed for itI can provide copies of the signed direct deposit form and signed check pick up form if needed.I respectfully ask that you follow whatever procedure necessary to have this and unfair claim removedI do not know what would motivate this customer to go to such extremes just to have her fees refunded, but I suspect there Is something more here than we are aware of. Sincerely, Joseph *O'***, Franchisee Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

I am rejecting this response because: we attempted to give all forms we hadWe were told by the tax preparer, as well as Susan at a later date that the paper we had was not neededPlease explain how we provide papers for the IRS when the agent does not accept them? OR HAVE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THE CORRECT PAPERWORK ISIn addition, the negligence of Susan S*** taking weeks at a time for a response played a role in the interest added to the taxes owedNot to mention I was told by Susan that the GG would cover us, which is in fact another fine example of her ignorance and nagligence to the tax issue at hand, which happened to be what she is paid and RUNS a business off ofPeople trust and pay for this tax serviceWhy would anyone intentionally do business with someone who does not know what they are doing with something as important as taxes when the services provided are crippled by the company's employees and their sheer unprofessionalism, irresponsibility, and the lack of urgency in such important matters?! Furthermore I will do absolutely everything I can to stop this from happening to anyone else I will certainly be writing reviews on trusted websites, as well as belting it out to anyone with earsThis is not ok, it is completely absurd to call this a "service" or a "business," nothing that has happened in this process has been handled correctly, timely, or professionally From not even being able to get a call back to being given the runaround on the phone with "corporate".

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by *** *** I have attached a copy of the Gold Guarantee signed by Ms *** and her husband, *** If you will review the last paragraph, you will see that "coverage does not apply to the following situations
(Exclusions): (i) you provided incorrect, incomplete, or information to your local Jackson Hewitt Office..."I honestly neglected to review the terms of the Gold Guarantee at the time I filed their claim It was my mistaken belief that the coverage extended to situations like hers The facts are that when the *** filed their tax return in 2013, they were missing a 1099-R form for a retirement plan that was cashed out and not rolled over or reinvested That disbursement was not included in the preparation of their return and resulted in additional tax being due Absence of documents basically invalidates the Gold Guarantee I apologize if she was unable to obtain a reasonable response to her questions, although I did explain to her why the claim was invalid I even escalated the claim and had upper management review it If Gold Guarantees covered "missing" documents, Jackson Hewitt would encounter millions and millions of dollars in fraudulent claims JH offers the free "accuracy guarantee" which automatically covers interest and penalties when a preparer makes a mistake in the return or if the IRS declines a position taken by a preparer as to the admissibility of a particular credit or deduction The Gold Guarantee covers any out of pocket money as a result of covered elements Neither of these situations apply in this case.Additionally, Ms*** should review the Gold Guarantee Certificate that was included in her return packet that was provided at the time her return was prepared It very specifically outlines conditions for a claim.Respectfully submitted,Susan S***, Owner and FranchiseeJackson Hewitt Tax Service

March 23, 2016Re: ID ***To Whom it May Concern,In response to the above ID claim, FCS did in fact allow the ***s to pay in advance to avoid the upcoming price hikeThis payment in advance did not include the costs for enrollment fees of $per student. We do not have a policy for
mid-term refunds and FCS does not believe we owe the disputed amountIn fact, FCS believes that the ***s owe their enrollment fees of $450.00.However, in an effort to resolve this doubtful and disputed claim, FCS offers to waive the $and pay $in exchange for release of all claims and mutual nondisparement,Sincerely,MsMichelle ***FCS Administrative Dean

I am rejecting this response because: The information that Jackson Hewitt has written is absolutely untruthful He has stated that I refused to speak with him There is no reason why I would reject his call after making many attempts to talk with him I am very disappointed with this unresolved matter Jackson Hewitt stated that there work is 100% guaranteed The company has been unprofessional in returning not only my call but Revdex.com messages I had to find another Jackson Hewitt on my own to help try to fix the problem in which the he stated I had help through his company I will be willing to take a lie detector test to show that he never called me to refuse his phone call I am very upset over advertisement and paying for a service that wasn't effectively renderedInstead of Jackson Hewitt reaching out to Revdex.com why not try to reach out to me via phone to try to resolve this unsatisfactory customer experience It was not my fault that the person who prepared my taxes had no clue how to submit the form and the form(affordable act) form that was totally missingAs a result since 2/8/my taxes is still held in the IRS after paying Jackson Hewitt close to $ I want this matter to be resolve as Jackson Hewitt stated that they are % guaranteed What I got was 100% disappointment and advertisement I let my husband read the response and he also know that he never attempted to call me

I spoke with Mr*** regarding charges for a cancelled surgery on 8/19/15. He paid $towards the $balance for the cancellation but due to illness he could not have the surgery. I was willing to make the adjustment to the account but we still had an open balance on the account
and would need to wait until the claim was finalize before issuing a refund. We have an outside billing service that handles our claims and payment positing along with refund request. I made a request for the billing company to resubmit the claim for payment. On 9/the billing company received a credit balance check request through their system and protocol. Mr*** called me to follow up with his refund request. Our billing person in our office that receives information from the billing company resigned from her position. I would need to look into the request. I told Mr*** I would try to go ahead and expedite his request before Dr*** left for vacation but I didn’t get it done before she left. 10/12-10/18. Mr*** called to me to follow up and I explained that I was able to get it done but not before the dr left for vacation and he was upset with me and said he would call Revdex.com and file a complaint. I apologized for the inconvenience and assured him he would receive his refund but he said it took too long *** ** *** Practice Manager Cornea Consultants of Texas *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***

I recently began looking to purchase a home and so I pulled my credit report and scoreThere were collection accounts listedof which were medical bills through a collection company called SMS in MississippiI called them and they were amazing ! Agreed to do payments until I could pay it offLet me choose the amountof the accounts was invalid so they removed it once I informed them it was still listedSo once I got my tax refund I called and asked to pay it off the balance was $I asked if they could mail me a receipt and she said yesI asked if once it cleared would they please remove the items from my credit report and she said yes they wouldSo when I called this company I expected to be greeted and treated just as niceI was seriously mistakenSo I called a month or more ago and requested payments and told her I would pay it off when I got my return she said "just call back then" so I was agreeable and did just thatSo I called yesterday and told her I would like to have something sent to me saying we agreed on the payoff amount of $and she flat out said "no we can not do that" I was ummm ok and so I asked if once I paid it would they please remove it once again I got a flat out "no" and no other explanationI remained nice the whole time I asked her if it would fall off my report in years from the date it was first reported and she said " well I cant say for sure but I would assume it would" I mean what kind of person does not know that when you work there? I asked her if she could please send me a receiptShe said she would mail me a letter saying it was paid but nothing pertaining to our agreementI am happy to payoff a debt but I am not happy that this company denied me things that every other company is happy to doIt just is unethical and rudeI hope to never deal with these people ever again
