[redacted] reached out to me and offered me $100 out of the $414.00...

in prepartion fees we paid. That is not acceptable. The tax preparer incorrectly filed my taxes. The manager incorrectly sent in papers for my taxes. It took another fax to be sent in order for my taxes to be sent in correctly. Due to their incompetence it took several weeks to receive my refund. I want a full refund. That is fair.

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to the following allegations listed by our customer. 1. Any competent mechanic business after having a vehicle for six months could have repaired this vehicle. The mechanics at AZM are thorough and professional, and unpleasant instances are the exception rather than the norm. It was never the intention of AZM to have our customers automobile for as long as we did.  What came in as a seemed simple matter, turned into a long-term nightmare due to the manufactured year of the vehicle (The motor and components were only manufactured for 1 year) and the difficulty in obtaining parts. 2. Not included in their computed dollar amount that I paid are the two other parts I paid directly to the parts store.  The correct number is an additional $325 for the part purchased from the Tucson auto parts store and an additional $2182.82 paid for the control module. These costs would normally be paid by the shop and then charged me on my invoice. They required me to pay for them. AZM does not keep track of customer supplied parts, as they are not accounted for in our inventory.  If AZM recommended a customer obtain their own part, it was because it would save them some time and hassle.  In this circumstance, the parts mentioned were not available locally.  AZM did not have any control over the cost of the items supplied; however, if the customer had indicated that he would like AZM to order the parts, AZM would have happily complied. 3. Due to their shoddy work they are responsible for breaking my high pressure fuel pump, a cam, my control module and my engine.  AZM has been in business for 20 years.  Automotive work was added in 2008.  In that amount of time, we have not had any complaints that could not be settled.  AZM does not provide shoddy work. Please see number 4 for the descriptions of the issues with the parts in question. 4. I had diagnostics done on my vehicle before and after my vehicle was in the AZM shop for repair.  Their was no problem with any cam, the fuel pump was working properly and there were no issues with the control module or the engine from these diagnostics until AZM started working on it. On the paperwork submitted by both AZM and the customer, the diagnosis from AZM was estimated and the customer prepaid for the work to be done.  This indicates the customer agreed with the issues and accepted the new diagnosis provided by AZM.  When the vehicle arrived at AZM, there was an indicator light on the dash for “reduced power.”Both a bad valve and a faulty high-pressure fuel pump caused this. The cam broke because the high-pressure head mounted fuel pump locked up.These issues were both discussed and confirmed with the customer. After aforementioned repairs were completed, it was determined the engine control module was faulty resulting in all issues.  The customer was notified and the vehicle was brought to [redacted] Isuzu for installation of a new computer.  AZM was not involved in this customer decision.  5. The labor hours they state they could have charged me are only estimates to make it look like they were working on the vehicle every day. The hours on the bill were an honest accumulation of the additional hours worked on the vehicle.  It was impossible to work on the vehicle each day due to the wait for special parts, etc.  Parts for this vehicle (due to the year, make and model), were difficult to obtain because most had been discontinued.  For example, the replacement high-pressure fuel pump had to ordered through [redacted] Isuzu and was shipped directly from Japan.  The part was not available in North America.  This particular part took many weeks to arrive and AZM did not have any control over this issue. 6.  I agreed to tow my vehicle back to AZM from [redacted] only after I was quoted that they would not charge me any more money to finish the job.  When I was asked to pick up my un-repaired vehicle they stated I would have to pay an additional $1000.00 to take it home.  Only after stating I did not have that much money did they allow me to pay $400.00 to be able to take it home. The hours on the final bill to the customer were discussed on the telephone prior to the customer arriving to pick up his vehicle.  It was after he showed up that AZM decided to write off the additional labor in an attempt to avoid any ill feelings pertaining to a difficult job with an unpredictable outcome.  7. What reputable mechanic shop would have a vehicle, any vehicle, for over six months and charge the customer over $6000 and NOT return the vehicle in running condition? The vehicle is now worthless and cannot be driven. In short, AZM did not have the vehicle for more than six months.  The vehicle (per customer instruction) was towed to [redacted] Isuzu and was in their possession for nearly one month while they waited for special parts to arrive from outside North America. Please see above details for any questions regarding the time allotments.

AZM Tint provided tinting services for this vehicle in August, 2014.  After a couple attempts to provide a clean tint job it was determined that the interior of the vehicle was just too dirty to allow a clean tint application.  Please keep in mind that this vehicle was sent directly to us...

from a body shop.  There was body work dust everywhere and we did the best possible job given the circumstances.  Please note that we showed the customer towels containing the endless debris/dirt from the window tracks.  One more note to add, we use an integrated window tint plotter that automatically cuts windows to size.  The benefit of this program is that no razor blades are ever used inside of vehicles.  We did not trim any window components/gaskets.  It is in our best interest to provide the most professional job possible for all applications.  AZM has been in business for more than 20 years and we pride ourselves on professionalism and clean applications.  We could like nothing more than to attempt to make this situation right given the circumstances regarding the body shop dust.  I can be reached Monday Through Friday from 9:00AM-5:30PM.Sincerely yours,[redacted]Owner

and matter was resolved. This customer keeps calling our office and leaving messages we have left multiple messages explaining this matter, He even filed a corporate complaint which we tried to contact him in regards to and explain the issue .

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.RE: ID To Whom it May Concern, In response to the above ID claim, FCS did in fact allow the [redacted]s to pay in advance to avoid the upcoming price hike. This payment in advance did not include the costs for enrollment fees of $225.00 per student. We do not have a policy for mid-term refunds and FCS does not believe we owe the disputed amount. In fact, FCS believes that the [redacted]s owe their enrollment fees of $450.00. However, in an effort to resolve this doubtful and disputed claim, FCS offers to waive the $450.00 and pay $250.00 in exchange for release of all claims and mutual nondisparement, Sincerely,The business did allow early resigning of students to avoid price hike which has nothing to do with money owed. At that time I was told verbally, as most transactions seem to be done so retractions can be made., that the enrollment fees would be waived paying in advance.I have already been told by the business that they  do not have a policy for mid-term refunds, however I was not made aware of that nor did I sign anything confirming such a thing. Other Students that have left (noticing the failure of the school to give appropriate academic education to their students also left and do not owe for time students not there?! However, in an effort to resolve this claim the best I ill do is allow the school to keep 450.00 of what they owe me and pay me the bal of $1010.00 asap. Sincerely,

April 29, 2015Dear [redacted],
I am writing in response to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com by [redacted] called our office the end of February 2015 stating she received a letter from the IRS regarding an adjustment to her 2013 return. The...

letter indicated that her social security wages were not reported on her tax return resulting in additional taxes due as well as interest and penalties. Upon review of [redacted]'s return, it was determined that the preparer had failed to report her social security wages. After speaking with [redacted] it was further determined that she had the SSA statement with her at the time of preparation. All of our clients are covered by our Accuracy Guarantee which reimburses clients for any penalties and interest they may incur if a preparer makes an error in the preparation of their tax return. The client is responsible for any tax liability or reduction in refund. At the time of tax preparation, [redacted] was offered the opportunity to purchase a Gold Guarantee for $40.00. This guarantee provides reimbursement for any tax liability or reduction in refund up to $5000 in addition to the penalties and interest incurred if a preparer makes an error in preparing a client's taxes. As she stated in her complaint she declined this additional coverage. While it is not part of our policy, as a gesture of goodwill [redacted] was reimbursed $366.00, the full amount of her tax preparation fees for 2013.[redacted] has not contacted our office in regards to any additional letters she has received regarding her return. If you need further information or clarification regarding this issue and our response to it please do not hesitate to contact me at [redacted].

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The information that Jackson Hewitt has written is absolutely untruthful.  He has stated that I refused to speak with him.  There is no reason why I would reject his call after making many attempts to talk with him.  I am very disappointed with this unresolved matter.  Jackson Hewitt stated that there work is 100% guaranteed.  The company has been unprofessional in returning not only my call but Revdex.com messages.  I had to find another Jackson Hewitt on my own to help try to fix the problem in which the he stated I had help through his company.  I will be willing to take a lie detector test to show that he never called me to refuse his phone call.  I am very upset over false advertisement and paying for a service that wasn't effectively rendered. Instead of Jackson Hewitt reaching out to Revdex.com why not try to reach out to me via phone to try to resolve this unsatisfactory customer experience.  It was not my fault that the person who prepared my taxes had no clue how to submit the 1095 form and the 8962 form(affordable act) form that was totally missing. As a result since 2/8/16 my taxes is still held in the IRS after paying Jackson Hewitt close to $600.00.  I want this matter to be resolve as Jackson Hewitt stated that they are 100 % guaranteed.  What I got was 100% disappointment and false advertisement.  I let my husband read the response and he also know that he never attempted to call me.
Regards,

The certificate or voucher program is contracted for us to install trees for the homeowners in minimum groups of ten. The customer...

selected their tree in middle of May and was the second on the list - over the following three weeks additional homeowners made contact and completed their selections the first week of June. June 11 the underground utility locate was ordered, and we received confirmation from [redacted] on June 18 that the locates have been completed. The trees are scheduled to be installed towards the end of next week just after Canada Day.

Thank you for your response.  Although [redacted] is a valued customer, I feel we provided excellent service in light of pricing and service and she received her federal refund in a very timely fashion.  In that she is self employed, the schedule C form is typically charged over a $300 fee to complete it however we charged significantly less.  Although her total payment was $413 to Jackson Hewitt, she actually only paid our Jackson Hewitt franchise $310, due to:  1.  fees for the insurance policy of $38, 2.  a disbursement fee of $15 to corporate to keep the return safe, 3.  an assisted refund of $57 to go to the bank to have the payment fees taken out rather than pay us directly upfront to save on that fee (that does not go to us.).  Ms. [redacted] was issued a $130 discount at the time of preparing her tax return which is significant.  We spent over one hour preparing her return with her children in the office during the return.   I was happy to satisfy her complaint with a $50 gift card, which she cashed and a $50 check, which she chooses not to cash.  Ms. [redacted] signed the return when she left the office and if she was not happy she should have advised at that time.  The $50 check more than satisfies the trip from [redacted] to [redacted] in order to sign the state return.  Best regards, [redacted], Jackson Hewitt Tax Service     satisfies 20 mile trip from [redacted] to [redacted].

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
My complaint remains the same in that their ad is untruthful and misleading. I have been a faithful customer and believed their ad in that so long as I provided the necessary documents they would stand behind their work. The fact that they reimbursed me the fee to fill out my taxes was only right given the number of mistakes. Further when I went in they were uninterested in viewing my paperwork and only wanted to stand behind a 50 fee so why would I go back in?  Their add is untruthful and as a result of my misguided trust in the belief as long as I brought in all the necessary paperwork they would stand behind their figures. Now I owe money that they should be responsible for.

Dear Revdex.com: We received your letter dated 9/13/2016 expressing a customer's concern regarding their 2016 [redacted] State Income Tax Return. The Case ID is [redacted] Upon receipt of your letter, we contacted the [redacted] Tax Department to request information regarding the refunds due...

our customer. We were advised that the original refund was directly deposited in their account on or about March 8, 2016. The amended return was acknowledged and started processing into their system June 20, 2016. We will contact the customer directly with the specific information secured from the [redacted] Comptroller's Office. The customer was aware that their original [redacted] tax return had a balance due. Even though the customer is going to pay the remaining balance due with the refund from [redacted] Tax Department, contact with [redacted] State Tax Department was imperative to prevent collection action. In addition, the original refund issued in March from the State of [redacted] would have reduced the balance due on the [redacted] return. We will refund the preparation fee for the original [redacted] return. As an additional point, it would be of great assistance to the customer if their employer would withhold [redacted] income tax rather than [redacted] income tax. This would completely eliminate the customer being required to file a [redacted] State Tax Return and would only require them to file their [redacted] State Income Tax Return. Most employees who work in one State but live in another State have their employer withhold income tax for the State where they live, not where they work.

I talked to Mrs. [redacted] We gave her a 50 dollar [redacted] card I sent her a 50 dollar check I think I have been pretty fair to her she wants the return done for nothing. last year we did it for a 100 dollars and the price went  up this yearand she is not happy no matter what I...

do for her she just wants to complain. Any questions please call me at [redacted] Thanks  [redacted]

The Jackson Hewitt office in Joplin, Missouri on 7th street owned by [redacted] does not stand behind their promise to complete your taxes correctly or they will fix it. I can't even get Ms. [redacted] to talk to me on the phone to discuss the error her agency made on my 2013 tax return which will cost me hundreds of dollars over the next three years.

A two tax agencies have reviewed the return completed by the 7th street J and H office confirming that my tax return was NOT completed correctly. Now it is costing me $[redacted] to have another tax agency correct and resubmit my 2013 tax return.

DO NOT TRUST THAT THIS AGENCY WILL WORK WITH YOU LET ALONE RETURN YOUR PHONE CALLS!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:They are lying. We got lucky paying extra money for their gold guarantee. They did fix things last year,  but we had to come multiple times. They changed appointment times not us. Taxes are a very personal important part of a families finances. I have to have confidence someone handling that is trustworthy. The actions of Jackson Hewitt has made them untrustworthy. I want a refund, not free services that were not done right the first time.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
