QuantM Technologies Inc. Reviews (99)

I am happy with the services.

Service was very helpful - computer is working great again

I am happy with this service today.

I appreciate QuantM Technologies Inc for helping me with any issue I have about my computer quickly and efficiently. I am a happy customer.

Review: Based on the issue I related with my [redacted] Laptop, I was sold a screen and installation for $349.99. The technician installed the screen on 04/11/15, mid day. On 04/17/15 when I turned on my laptop, I had the same issue with my screen flashing. I contacted them on 04/18/15 at 1:10 p.m. I spoke to [redacted]. [redacted] took control of my computer at 1:25 p.m. and performed several uninstallations/installations to try to solve the issue. At 2:40 p.m., I was referred to supervisor [redacted], who told me he would contact me on Monday, after he contacted the technician who installed the screen on the laptop. No one contacted me on Monday, and on Tuesday 04/21/15 at 6:43 p.m., I spoke to someone identified as "[redacted]". He advised he would send a technician to look at the laptop at no charge. I gave them until Thursday morning to contact me with the time the technician would contact me. On 4/22/15, I received a call from them while enroute to an appointment and advised I would contact them when I got back home. I contacted them at 4:04 p.m. and spoke to "[redacted]", who had no idea why I was calling. I was referred to Customer Service, [redacted]. Their solution was to have a technician install another screen, and charge me $150.00. Since the screen only worked for 5 days, I felt I should not have to pay for any technician charges. Their solution was to refund me $100 upon return of the screen, which was the result of taking off $200 for the original technician, and a $49.95 re-stocking fee. I had asked for a full refund, or a technician to come and install another screen at no charge. This was not agreeable with [redacted]. I am extremely dis-satisfied with this service/company and will definitely let everyone I know who needs technical support to steer clear of them, because their "30 Days no obligation refund policy if primary issue is not resolved" is bad advertising and totally untrue.Desired Settlement: 100 % Refund, or replacement at no additional charge to me.

Review: Coteq has provided terrible service, no compensation for broken computer done by its technicians, rude customer service representatives, run-arounds with customer service help, no refund after equipment was damaged by their technicianDesired Settlement: I want financial compensation for the cost to repair my computer, emotional distress, time wasted, and overall bad service.

I am rejecting this response because:

I filed a complaint against this same company a few weeks ago under case ID [redacted]. I closed the case after the company agreed to give me a partial payment of $100 out of $329 and fix my computer. I received the $100, but they now say they are not obligated to fix my computer even though that's what was agreed upon.

Kushal was awesome! He worked all day and fixed my laptop that I was seriously about to give up on.

Very very happy!!! Thank you.

Review: I ordered an HP Envy 5530 with this company last Jan. 22. But called them the next day within 24 hours to cancel because I realized that I don't really need it. But the company said that I cannot cancel because I signed an agreement that there is no return/ refund on a purchase and I signed it via on line. The product had not been derivered yet. And they refuse to cancel and credit me back my $219.99. I feel like I have just been fooled. While it is true that I signed the agreement on line, the salesperson failed to explain the cancellation policy. I told her I was in a hurry to leave for my meeting at that time, and I ded not read the signed agreement. And the item was still with them. I don't have the purchased item yet so the purchase was not completed yet, I think. Please help me get this resolved. I don' [redacted] to get stuck with the printer that I don't need. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I expect to get a full refund.

Review: I spoke with a tech & another representative, on 9-11-14 regarding my computer. We discussed upgrading to a year contract. The company wanted to do 2 things that I absolutely disagreed with. They wanted to back date the contract to August of 2014, when I did a trail with them, and not allow me to read my contract. I told them that this wasn't right. You have to let me read the contract and that a new contract shouldn't be back dated to a trial, that I had already paid for. The second representative on the call, refused to let me read the contract and kept saying "No don't worry about it". This concerned me. These representatives had remote access to my computer. They were literally inside my computer, with me, moving through screens and the second guy kept pulling up an electronic signature screen. He kept pulling up the signature screen through his end and I continued to tell him no I'm not signing with you and kept trying to X out of the screen. He put my signature through despite me telling him he's not allowed him to do so. I told him I am no longer doing business with your company. The merchant used my cc information from the trial I had with them. I no longer resided in [redacted], as of September 1st, 2014, yet they used that address. It was my address when I did the trial with them, not during this call. In October, a representative called me from Quantm. He said he was new with the company & needed to know what happened. I told him & he agreed with me. He said I shouldn't have to pay the charge since I didn't authorize it. He also said the tech should've allowed me to read the contract and accepted my response of No, and not put the charge through. I did not authorize this company to charge my credit card. This is a fraud. They should not be allowed to take advantage of consumers because they are inside of the consumers computer with the capabilities of manipulating the screens for an electronic signature.Desired Settlement: $ 89.95 should be credited back to my credit card. This company should not be allowed to abuse their ability to pull up an electronic signature due to the remote access process. It makes the consumer very vulnerable. It's difficult to trust using a computer company now, knowing they can sign you up for something you don't want or authorize because you have allowed them into your personal computer to assist with a computer problem.

I am rejecting this response because: I stated the facts in my letter. I did not authorize this company to charge my credit card. I DO NOT have electronic signature capability on my computer. They refused to allow me to read the contract. I refused their service. I will be contacting the FTC and the police department regarding this matter, as Quantm has committed a fraud.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com Correspondent,With regard to a resolution to Complaint #[redacted], the issue with Ms. [redacted] was reconciled on January 7th, 2015, at which time a full refund of $89.99 was credited back to her credit card. Please see the attached screen shot that shows this transaction in QuantM's payment gateway. Given the variability in the amount of time that it takes for a credit be processed (dependent upon the card issuer), Ms. [redacted] should have received the credit to her account within 3-4 business days of its issuance. At this time, it is our hope that Ms. [redacted] confirms with the Revdex.com that she is in fact satisfied with this outcome and that this case could be closed. Please advise as to whether you require anything more from QuantM at this time. Thank you for your time and attention.Regards,[redacted]
