[redacted],
While I understand you are upset, we have made many attempts to reach out to you. Attached for your viewing pleasure is the call receipt from our latest attempt to reach out to you.
Since you are no longer telling the truth, we are having difficulty taking your claims seriously. We have (and will always be), here for our customers - but making untruthful claims about our earnest efforts to contact you is unfair.
If you truly wish to resolve your issues I suggest returning the phone call and voicemail of our service advisor.
Kindly,
Stamos

Please have the customer call our general manager [redacted] @ ###-###-####We will resolve the situation immediately.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Claims of being in constant contact with me on the service managers part, as well as the salesperson (James) part is absolutely false. They have never once contacted me (even after multiple attempts to reach them on my part, leaving messages, leaving my number). Any contact I have had with the company has been made on my part, they have never reached out to me to ask about the process of my car.
I have had one single interaction with the sales manager and it was not even face-to-face; this interaction (a phone call after attempting to meet with him for over 2 weeks and leaving numerous messages) was unbelievably rude and resulted in threats of legal action (for reasons still unexplained) against me.
To rectify this situation they can own up to the fact that they sold me a car with an open recall and remove the vehicles on their lot which have open recalls on them so that someone else isn't placed in the same situation as me.
I have provided the list of vehicles on your lot with open recalls which you still have not done anything about. As a matter of fact, a few of the vehicles I listed have been sold even after being made aware of the recall notices.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

On April **, 2016, the manager along with a salesman did indeed state in front of another customer that they would get the car and fix what was wrong with it since it left the parking lot on December **, 2015 with the issues that continued to manifest.  When the manager found out that the mechanic who discovered the exact issue would not release the car without payment for taking it apart for the warranty company to inspect and holding up one of their bays due to the engine being apart, the manager advised he was trying to figure out how to get the car from the mechanic.  Once, they made the sale to the other customer, my issue was irrelevant and the decided not to follow through on what they promised in front of the other customer to make the sale. They issue was their responsibility from the start.

This refund was processed before the claim was even made. Please understand that since you used a credit card for the deposit it takes up 3-5 business days to reflect on your statement. Please let us know if you have any additional issues/concerns and thank you for considering Long Island Auto Find.

We have responded to all complaints regarding this claim, our company is unsure what else this customer is looking for? As far as mechanical issues we adamantly stand by our customers and welcome Ivan to contact our service manager (who he has already been in contact with). James (the salesperson) has also been in constant contact with Ivan, leaving us unsure of what we can do to rectify the remaining issues moving forward. Please explain in detail what we can do to fix this situation for you.

Our office was never contacted with the information in relation to the customer's [redacted] service bill. Our experience with the vehicle was replacing the throttle body actuator for the customer before the vehicle was sent to [redacted]. We would ask that the customer please get in touch with our offices with...

[redacted]'s service information. Thank you.

I don't agree with the statement the company made
That is not correct, Agnes did not keep in touch with throughout the refund process. I did not speak to Agnes into weeks after my "refund" was suppose to be refunded.
I already spoke with the manager at Li Auto Find and told him I would drop the claim.

In the listing for the automobiles, no were does it say anything about the "trade ln/or down payment !! You have to go to the company Web site and it is on the last sentence!! If you look at the reviews, this has happened to many people! It's a ploy to get the people to come in and then pow!!

Review: I have a Warranty on my Mercedes c300. A piece of my engine fell out, and this is supposed to be covered by my warranty. I have been calling Long Island Auto Find for a week and have been told they are going to help me, but still no resolution has been made to this issue. I have gotten no answers, they say they are "helping customers" overtime I call. I have been on hold for 50 minutes to be told he will call me back but never does. The car has been purchased under a year ago.Desired Settlement: The warranty for the services are in place. The work needs to be completed and covered under my warranty.

Review: On their company Vehicle Cash Purchase Agreement sheet, the number had agreed upon was $16,866. This price came from there internet advertised price of $13,997 plus $2500 since I did not trade in a vehicle. An additional $389 was added for dealer processing fee which I didn't question too much of. $13,997 plus $2500 plus $389 came out to $16,866. When meeting with the finance people, they had a Retail Installment Contract with a total of the amount financed, which seemed slightly high to me. When asking how they came to the total price, the finance manager simply named fees the are normally charged associated with a used vehicle but no prices. I simply trusted his word and since the sales person was a good friend of a co-worker, I didn't question the price. After a week, I had went through the paperwork they gave me and saw the price was changed on the new Vehicle Cash Agreement Sheet to $17,561. It was exactly $675 higher. I have copies of both agreements and was never verbally told the difference in price. After weeks of contacting the salesperson to fix the price, I get nothing but excuses and no phone calls back.Desired Settlement: I feel the right thing to do would be refund the $675 plus tax they charged me, which is $733.21.

Response:

On May 28th, 2013 Mr. [redacted] was presented with a printed copy of the final Bill of Sale as well as the financing contract from [redacted]. The bill of sale indicates a selling price of $17,561.00 resulting in a total of $15,406.64 (after a subtraction of the down payment) to be financed. The finance contract matches the bill of sale displaying the amount of $15,406.64 to be financed. Mr. [redacted] signed this paperwork in front of the finance manager at Long Island Auto Find, Inc. who advised him of all charges included in the final price. Mr. [redacted]'s signature can be found on both the bill of sale as well as the finance contract. If there was any question or concern regarding the selling price or any other financial aspect of the deal it should have been brought to the attention of the sales associate or the finance manager at the time of sale, prior to Mr. [redacted] providing his signature and agreeing to all included terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we can not offer Mr. [redacted] a refund at this time under the circumstance that he willingly signed the paperwork agreeing to the amount displayed.

Review: I purchase a vehicle from this dealership less than a month ago. Ever since I got the car it's been in and out of their shop. At one point more than a week. The car had a really bad suspension problem and brake issues. And they supposedly did a New York State safety inspection on it before it was handed over to me. Now I'm trying to get another vehicle or refund because the vehicle still having the same problem after sever attempts of them fixing the problem. Ever since then I've been getting the run around and still stuck with a car I can't drive.Desired Settlement: A full refund or replace the vehicle. At no extra charge

Response:

[redacted] has been in direct contact with our General Manager, Jim. We will be purchasing this vehicle back from the customer and hope he will continue to consider us for his vehicle needs in the future despite this experience.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I spoke with the manager Jim once. And that's after I submit the previous complaint and told them I'm going to report them to DMV for selling me a car and pass a new your safety inspection. Knowing that the vehicle is not safe to drive. Jim told me to come in they are going to replace the car for another for the same retail price. That wasn't the case when I got there. After looking at the new car, when it's time to sign for it. The car price hiked to almost $3000 from what I was originally told. And it was almost $4000 over the book value. Previous to that the sales manager wanted me to pay another down payment to get this new car and I ask " why should I after I already paid for the previous car already" so I'm assuming that's what they factored in the final retail price. I also contacted DMV and they told me I shouldn't have to pay another down payment. So I did not sign the contract. So now I'm left without a car and havnt gotten my down payment back as yet. This dealership is a rip off and a big scam. And also having false advertisement on their website. Example this new car is listed for $9,995 with $2,995 down payment. That total to about $12,990. Their total is over $16,000. And this particular vehicle book value is between 11,000 and 13,000 in excellent condition. Hope they get audited and people will get justice. While at the service department one day there was another customer there with the same problem.
