Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Quik Park regarding complaint ID [redacted].  I did call several more times since registering a complaint with the Revdex.com, and still no one answers the phone only an answering machine and no one returns any calls as you have...

experienced.  I have damage to my car caused by former employees. it is a shame as the men who had been at this garage for years are nice and know me, and know that the damage was done by the "new guys" that aren't there anymore.  The main office is not professional in any way, not returning a phone call doesn't fix or make the problem go away.Sincerely,

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Quik Park regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
I received a voicemail from an "operations manager" several days after I filed my complaint with Revdex.com. I have tried to...

reach this person about 10 times in total, leaving 5 messages with no returned call. It has become obvious this company has no intentions of refunding my money and hopes I will just go away.

Review: Good afternoon,

I’m writing you guys today for help because I feel like my back is up against the wall and I have nowhere else to turn. I’m not one to make complaints or report to any agency and I never in my life have reached out to an organization such as yours for assistance. But at this point I feel that this is a huge diservice to people everywhere in addition to a longstanding scam that parking garages have gotten away with for quite some time.

Back in May, my boyfriend and I visited New York for an afternoon lunch and parked my 2008 Honda Civic at QuikPark garage on [redacted] in the Village for a few hours. Upon picking up my car, I watched as the parking attendant pulled my car out of its spot, scraping the lower quarter side panel against a rail causing a huge dent and scrape on the passenger side of my car. The parking attendant first tried to act like nothing happened but when I asked about it, he nervously got a claims form and hesitantly filled it out. I asked for a copy but he only gave me a ticket # [redacted] and told me to call the [redacted] during the week. I handled it calmly (although upset) and returned to my home which is in [redacted].

What I didn’t know was that this was going to be a long drawn out ordeal with numerous messages, e-mails, and telephone calls in which I had no return. I know that resolving of matters such of this magnitude is not instantaneous however I feel I have been more than patient considering it is now September, still with very little leeway into this fiasco.

From the beginning, I had difficulty reaching anybody and would have to spend multiple hours a day ringing in to customer service/the adjuster until I could get someone on the phone for I learned real fast that messages nor emails were ever returned (all of which I saved copies of for proof). I had sent in everything they asked for including pictures and estimates which I am attaching for you today. I had gotten an estimate from a repair auto body and my insurances adjuster with the cheapest cost of $1300. After several excuses such as “I’ll call you tomorrow. My [redacted] isn’t in,” “theres a new adjuster on your case so there will be another 2 week delay,” and the best, “someone called you, didn’t you get the message?” I had finally received an answer in August of "drop your car off at our auto body in Long Island or we’ll send you a check of $450 for we feel that’s all your damages are worth." It is at this point that I was absolutely sure that this was the most masterminded scam these garages had for the following reasons:

1) People who use parking garages are primarily from out of state (as am I).

2) The cost, time, and traffic of driving all the way to Long Island was way more than most people are willing to do, especially if this is their primary car.

3) Since Quikpark is so difficult to get ahold of the last thing people are going to want to do is drop their car off into an empty abyss where it will remain for a few weeks time and the probability of it being returned promptly is a guaranteed zero.

I guarantee you for these reasons, most people will just drop the case after their ultimate aggravation. In fact, I’ve even researched Quikpark Claims and if you do too, you will see the outcry of people who are undergoing the same kind of stress that I am describing right now. However, I absolutely refuse to let such an outrageous scam like this go unheard and I really would appreciate your help into looking into this matter further for I promise you you won’t be disappointed. Not only for me but for the other people who are being scammed and truly violated with very little regard to what’s true and fair.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

-[redacted]Desired Settlement: The repair of my vehicle, nothing more and nothing less. That's it!

Review: I am in charge of a window installation in [redacted] with one of the openings is above the parking lot of the adjacent Quik Park. Speaking with the man who said he was in charge of the lot, he orally quoted me around 100 dollars per spot a day to purchase four parking spaces (this was just incase, to avoid one of his their clients cars getting hit by falling debri from the installation) but said to come back the week of the installation to finalize the purchase. Upon contacting this man (named [redacted]) the week of the installation, he referred me to his boss ([redacted]) who I spoke on the phone with. [redacted] proceeded to tell me that the cost of four parking spaces for 8 hours would be $1500, ($375 a spot), which is well above is all day special rates posted on his signs. The final bill for four days worth of four parking spaces was $6,000.00. I have a written quote provided by [redacted]'s company. This quote provided by him is downright ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I will not be purchasing these spots for the cost quoted to me by this [redacted] fellow. All I am looking for is that the powers to be find this person and some how hold him accountable for his price gouging tactics. He could be doing this to numerous other individuals and it is just not right. If his rates are posted how can he be allowed to raise the price for a spot so drastically.

Sincerely,

Review: Quik Park raised my rates on me within the first year. After 5-10 messages went unanswered over weeks, I finally got through and got the number of the [redacted] I left several detailed messages yet never received a return call.

I addressed the issue with the local garage [redacted] and auto-pay my bills -- YET - quikpark adds a $40 late fee to my bill every month which has now reached $440!!Desired Settlement: I have paid for every month I have parked my car at the garage. I have now agreed to pay the higher amount as of Jan. *. I believe all the fictitious late charges should be reversed. Finally, this company should be reminded that their 'customer service' line should actually be answered and messages left should be responded to. Turning to Revdex.com is a sign of my frustration with the parent company (my first time doing a Revdex.com complaint). One final note: the garage itself is fine; it is the management company that seems to have no care whatsoever for their customers.

Sincerely,

Review: Location Visit: Quik Park - [redacted]I reserved a spot on their site to park on March **, 2016.

NO TIMES WERE LISTED.

After I entered my credit card number, the pass number was issued and it said from 7PM-12AM.

The cost was $25.

I needed to park at 6 PM. In reading their FAQs, it stated that it is not a problem to add extra time.

I called to make sure and was told that they couldn't guarantee the spot for the earlier time, but if there was room it would not be a problem.

On arriving at the garage, I was told that I could not use the pass AT ALL because it was an hour earlier. I asked how much the extra hour would be and was told $22. But I still could not use the pass. I would be charged an hourly rate of $22.

I left the garage.

I found another garage that charged $22 for the night (6-11PM)

I have called my credit card company to let them know not to allow the charge.

This is false advertising and a scam.Desired Settlement: If my card is charged I would like a refund.

I would also like the Revdex.com to investigate and rate this business.

Review: HiI went to New York today to renew my passport with my husband and my brother in law . We looked for the cheapest parking and we found quick park by [redacted] where they have the sign for $7,60 for the full day a we Parked and walked several blocks to our ambassay . When we got back to pay the parking they told us we have to pay $46. When I asked why and what happened to the sign , the manager told me : you need to read the small prints and had a big smile on his face including his employee who said the same thing .. I feel We were ripped off big time and especially when all other places were cheaper and to top it off the manager says something really mean to you and that's not acceptable and a bless someone to protect my rights and get my money back and an apology for being ran to a customer , thank you for your helpDesired Settlement: Half price at least . Their sign said $7:60 for the full day
