Review: I parked at their garage on [redacted], where the rate was clearly posted, and paid by credit card. When I got home, I realized the amount on my receipt was higher than the posted rate. I returned to the garage a few days later, and was told they mistakenly added an oversize surcharge to my bill, and to call their office for a refund. Repeated calls to the office yield only a voicemail recording, and calls are never returned. I went back to the garage AGAIN, and was told by the manager "[redacted]", that if I came back in the morning, he would give me the credit. I came back a third time and was told he was "down below" and would "be right up". After waiting for an extraordinary amount of time (with a broken leg on crutches no less) then attendant repeatedly told me he would be up soon. Called the office yet again, voicemail, no return calls.Desired Settlement: Refund overcharge. Business should not be allowed to post one rate, charge a higher rate, then run the consumer around in endless fruitless circles to try and chase down the money they're owed.

Sincerely,

Review: On Saturday, December ** (2013), at approximately 8:10PM, my fiance's vehicle (2013 Acura RDX, Gray) was damaged by the parking attendant at the [redacted] Quik Park parking garage (near NYC City Hall / Brooklyn Bridge). Quik Park is not cooperating to resolving this issue by not answering my phone calls. I simply want to get paid for the damage on my fiancee's vehicle, which Quik Park should be held liable for the damage. I've provided all the necessary documentation that they originally requested.Desired Settlement: I want Quik Park to cut a check for the damage on the vehicle caused by the Quik Park parking attendant.

Review: We parked my car at this garage on Nov [redacted] 2015, When we were done with seeing the show we went to get my car. As we were waiting the parking attendant Manuel backed my 2014 Ford Explorer into a mini cooper.

I have been back and forth fighting a claim for repair with the Quikpark claim dept.

They did a repair quote via photos offering me only $353.85

I took my car to an auto body shop near where I live and they quoted $1004.66 and this was a quote based on the actual damage.

I cannot put this thru my insurance due to the fact that my deductible at the time was $1000.00 it is not fair that I should be paying for the damage this parking attendant did.

can you help ?Desired Settlement: I have not had the car repaired yet as I want the Quikpark claim dept to pay for this damage. They are being very unfair with the amount they say the damage is.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Quik Park regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: they are telling me that the quote based on photos via email they are only offering me $353.85 . They have never had an adjustor see my vehicle in person, they are soley basing on photos emailed by us to them. My car is very dark green-looks black and the photos do not depict the actual damage done by the quikpark parking attendant. I took my car to an reputable auto body shop in [redacted] and they quoted the damage repair will cost $1004.66 I cannot put this thru my insurance as a claim as my deductible was $1000.00 at the time of this incident.I feel the offer of $353.85 is very unfair since I did not do this damage and why am I paying such a huge shortage for damage that their parking attendant did. I have been trying since November 2015 to get Quikpark claims dept to resolve this fairly with me. I have been in touch with the manager John M[redacted] email: [redacted] phone: ###-###-####I have suggested a get a 2nd quote but so far Quikpark keeps telling me there quote is $353.85there is damage to my front left fender in front of the wheel, dent chipped paint and my bumper is dented and there is a good size cap under front end where bumper is under. I feel a quote done with a body shop that actually see the vehicle in person is a more valid quote than viewing emailed photosI hope you can assist me with this situation thank you,[redacted]###-###-####

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I park my car monthly at one of the Quik Park Garages. I have automatic billing set up on my [redacted]s Card for the monthly billing of parking charges. The contract for automatic billing that I signed over the summer states clearly that I must be given 1 months notice before the increase of rates. The head office of Quik Park processed charges in November and December for $35 more than my authorized and agreed to rate. On 12/* the garage presented me with a new authorization form for a higher rate. I took this form to be notice of the higher rate. Given the prior contract (i would be happy to produce a copy) the higher rate should have taken effect on January [redacted] 2015.

In order to resolve the non authorized charges that were placed on my card, I disputed them with [redacted]s after trying to contact the head office on 12/**/2014. I received no call from the head office. However [redacted]s was able to get the COO of operations for Quik Park, [redacted], on the line on 12/**/2014. At this time [redacted] agreed to reverse the charges off of my card as they were un authorized and only charged the $200 authorized rate. That evening I signed the new rate contract stating that my card would be charged a monthly rate of $235 starting Jan. 2015.

When I arrived at the garage the next day I was informed that my car was on hold until I paid back one payment of $35 that [redacted] had simply decided that I was required to pay even though that was not the agreed to on the phone with [redacted]s. I called the head office an attempted to speak with the [redacted] the COO and anyone who had the authority to discuss and negotiate these charges. I also emailed the head office on 12/**. No one from the garage called me back or emailed or responded in anyway. Because I work out of the city and I need to drive to work I had to pay the 35$ on 12/** so that I could gain access to my imprisoned car. Still no response from the head office. A number of other people who park monthly in this garage also received unauthorized charges and according to the garage staff were irate.Desired Settlement: Not only do I want a refund of the $35 since it was not agreed to. But I want a call from the [redacted], my number is [redacted] with an explanation for their horrible customer service and an apology. For the future I want this business to give the contracted 1 month notice to ALL monthly customers via letter left on the dash of their monthly parked cars when rates are about to increase so there is the opportunity to leave the garage if the price increases above what they are willing and able to pay without contractual repercussions.

This business needs to go through an entire operational shift if they expect to grow their operations in NYC and have happy customers. I personally am shocked that Rockrose gave them the contract and hope that they will not for the other buildings in Long Island City. I have parked with a number of garages and have never had such issues with the head office. On the other hand the garage staff is simply outstanding!!! Some of the best individuals that I have ever had the chance to interact with in the parking business.

Review: I have had a parking space in the Quik Park lot at [redacted] for approximately 18 months. In early June 2015, I arrived to pick up my car one morning and found that the passenger side mirror was shattered. The manager took full responsibility for the damage, and let me know that he would be putting in a claim on my behalf with the "main office." When I hadn't heard back within the week, he gave me the numbers to reach the claims department and follow up on his claim myself. When I hadn't heard back by the end of the month, I put my account on hold until it could be resolved. It has now been over 3 months, I have left at least 5 messages, and I have never heard back from anyone in the claims department. I am reluctant to repair the mirror myself, since by the garage manager's own admission they should be paying for it - which means I am also holding off on other service which my car needs.Desired Settlement: I would like to 1. hear back from the Claims Department, and 2. have the Claims Department arrange for repair of my passenger side mirror ASAP.

Review: On September *, 2014 my car sustained damage to the roof and bumper while parked in a QuikPark facility in [redacted]. I have made numerous attempts to contact them, approximately 20 phone messages, an additional 20 e-mails, attempting to gain information from the garage manager and NOTHING has prompted a response. I have not parked my car in that garage ([redacted]) since October **, 2014. However, they continue to bill me monthly which now includes late penalties and a raise in the monthly charges. After sending a certified letter, I finally received an e-mail from QuikPark stating I would receive a call from the repair shop. To date I have not received any phone calls. It has been 3 months, approximately 90 days, that this issue has not been addressed or resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like my car repaired and all charges as of October **, 2014 be removed from my account.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Quik Park regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted] I have not heard from QuikPark directly. I did receive a call from the auto body company that will repair the damages received in in the garage. An appointment has been set up for the [redacted] week of January 2015. Hopefully, they will not cancel this ongoing complaint. This has been unresolved since September *, 2014.

Review: I pay $350/month to park at one of the QuikPark locations in new york city. The garage is located at [redacted] between [redacted] and [redacted] avenue. The garage damaged my bumper and side of the bumper. The [redacted] filled out a claim form on 8/**/2014 and said he submitted it to QuikPark and someone would call me within the week to handle my car damage. It is now 09/**/2014 and nobody has reached out to me. I have called their company phone number every other day since the [redacted]. When you call the number, the automated system says press#1 for customer service. I have never reached a human at customer service, it is ALWAYS an answering machine. I have left a voice message every other day and nobody has called me back. I have also sent an email, every single day since the [redacted] and nobody has responded to me. In that time frame, I received a bill in the mail to pay for my next months payment! clearly people work in the office, but nobody handles anything. They damaged my vehicle and won't speak to me. I researched the company on [redacted] and they have a 1 star rating, everyone has the same complaint. They don't return anyones phone calls, or emails. Most of the email addresses that they have posted on their website do not even work!

Their corporate phone number is ###-###-####, please call this number and see for yourself. You will never reach ANYONE.

here is the [redacted] review link so you can see others who have had horror stories. [redacted] This company should not be allowed to do business in NY State.Desired Settlement: I want the company to reimburse me personally for fixing the bumper. I will have the cars damage appraised and then I will get the car fixed and I want QuikPark to pay for the damage. I don't trust them to get the car fixed and when my car lease is up in approximately March, I would like to be able to cancel my garage, which apparently you can only do if you speak to someone at corporate, which as I have mentioned… is impossible.

Review: On 6/**/2014, I signed up for a new monthly parking plan ([redacted]) at a rate of $400/month for our black Audi Q5 at the Quik Park garage at [redacted], ###-###-####. I prepaid $493.33 for the remainder of June and all of July. On Sunday evening, 6/**, I dropped our car off for the week.

On Saturday morning, 7/*, I went to pick it up in the morning. I found the car’s rear door on the driver side seriously dented and scratched. I immediately took photographic evidence and raised the issue to the attendant, who contacted the garage’s [redacted].

[redacted] admitted that my car was damaged by one of his attendant’s while the car was in his custody in the garage. He also promised that Quik Park garage would take care of the damage they caused.

After this incident, I kept my car over the weekend. On Monday morning, 7/*, I took it to [redacted]. at [redacted], ###-###-####, a reputable body shop in [redacted], to obtain an estimate for repairs, which came to $1,178.57.

I took this estimate back to [redacted] at the Quik Park garage and asked him to file a claim on my behalf (#[redacted]. He reiterated that his garage was responsible for the damage and would take care of my claim. I also cancelled my monthly parking plan effective 7/*, the day I had last used the Quik Park garage, and requested a refund of the unused portion of July.

Later that week, after repeated phone calls to [redacted], he informed me that Quik Park would withhold their full daily rate of $32 for the 5 days of July when my car was parked in his garage, for a total of 5 x $32 = $160, and refund the difference of $400 - $160 = $240.

After almost a dozen calls to [redacted] over the course of two weeks, I have neither received the promised refund of $240, nor had my claim for repairs in the amount of $1,178.57 acknowledged, let alone approved, by Quik Park’s claims department, allegedly reachable at ###-###-####, though no-one ever answered my calls at that number.Desired Settlement: I request to receive the promised refund of $240, credited back to my credit card, as well as coverage of the cost of repairs of $1,1787.57, as promised by [redacted].

After two fruitless weeks of discussion, I have raised a dispute for the $240 refund with my credit card company, [redacted], as well as a claim for collision damage with my car insurance, [redacted], and made an appointment with the resident [redacted] at [redacted]. for Monday, 7/**, to have my car finally repaired.

Even though this is a no-fault claim, I will have to pay a $500 deductible, and can only hope for [redacted] to recover both their and my portion of the loss from Quik Park garage in the future. I sincerely hope that this complaint filed with the DCA will help them in the process, and will help future customers from suffering similar damage and irresponsible business practices from Quik Park. Thank you.

On 7/**, Quik Park has finally issued the $240 refund of prepaid parking fees, which is part of this complaint.

As of today, 8/**, Quik Park has NOT paid for the damage they caused to our car.

We have since transferred the case to our insurance company, [redacted].

[redacted] negotiated a reduced repairs estimate of $932.08 with 15th St Auto Body, and repairs have since been carried out.

We paid our $500 deductible, and [redacted] paid the rest.

At this point, [redacted] is pursuing Quik Park on our behalf, for a full refund of damages in the amount of $932.08.

Sincerely,

Review: I was in the garage on 1/**/16 at 11:51 AM to look for parking. The parking lot employees kept telling me to go all the way up until the top of the garage but the garage was full way over it's capacity. By the time I got back down it was 12:01 pm and the cashier insisted that although I didn't find any parking I should nevertheless pay $8.00 (hourly rate $7.25 +tax $0.75).

Now the maximum speed limit in the garage is 5 mph and with cars parked in all the aisles it is not possible to get all the way to the top and back down to the bottom in less than 10 minutes.

I called the garage manager and he said that he can not refund me my money.

It is unfair to take my money without offering anything in return. It is simply called stealing.

I want my $8.00 back.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $8.00.

Review: Quik Park damaged my vehicle and refused to admit fault and pay for the damages. I'm not really surprised now given their F rating on Revdex.com. I inspect my vehicle every day as I park in many garages across Manhattan without incident. I immediately noticed the new damage and confronted them, and they immediately got defensive and hostile with me. I had to call the supervisor to get him to force them to write up a damage claim, which they said they would "investigate". They denied my claim weeks later with no reason as to why or what they found. The damage is minor in nature, but If I do not get a resolution I will file a lawsuit, org a class action lawsuit with others who have been denied, contact all media outlets in the tri state area and beyond, and destroy their reputation on social media. They do not return calls or even answer the phone, they like to hide behind voicemail and think that they can get away with not paying out on damages they are liable for.Desired Settlement: Payment for damages they caused to my vehicle, and a better more professional process of handling claims. You cant just hide behind a voicemail box. I've never seen a business treat a recurring customer worse than this. They have made thousands off of me in the past few years and this is how I am treated.

Review: I'm a monthly customer and someone in the garage scratched my car on the side mirror pretty bad. The garage manager did a report and filed a claim for me and gave me a claim filing number (#[redacted]) along with a telephone number of the claim department. He told me they will call me within a week. Now more than a month has passed but I still haven't heard from anyone. I have tried calling the number (claim department) a million times but no one answered and it always goes to the voicemail. I did leave voice messages but nobody ever called me back. I've talked to the garage manager but he just told me to keep calling...Desired Settlement: Implement the claim and repair my car.

Review: We used a Quik Park garage located at [redacted] in NYC in April 2015. The car was delivered by a garage employee to the [redacted] where my wife was staying because she had two young children and an aging parent with her. The car, a 2015 Subaru Outback had about 6,000 miles and NO prior damage or scratches of any kind.

The drop-off occurred on a busy street so my wife only did a quick glance around the car in order not to block traffic. She then drove to Long Island. When she arrived, she noticed scratches on the front left bumper (driver's side) and fairly deep parallel scratches on the rear left bumper. The damage was below the curve of the chassis enough that it would have taken a careful look to see it, hence why my wife didn't notice it at first.

We are both very careful drivers with nearly spotless driving records. We open doors in parking lots very carefully so as not to scratch our car or other's. There is virtually NO way the damage existed before the car was parked, and the damage is significant enough that any driver must have known when it happened. It did not happen during my wife's drive to Long Island.

Because my wife didn't notice it at the drop-off, Quik Park has denied our claim, and we are left with a $900 repair. They claim they can't determine whether the damage occurred in their care or not, yet since we live in NH, we can't inspect the garage to see if there are objects that would have left the parallel marks on the rear bumper (it looks a bit like a scrape against concrete or metal).

We believe the driver that caused the scratches failed to report them to the garage and the driver who delivered the car did not mention them to my wife at delivery. Although this happened at one particular garage, we are left with no confidence that our cars will ever be protected if parked at any Quik Park garage.Desired Settlement: We believe the business should cover repair of the damage done to the car in their garage. They have already denied our request and ignored a followup letter we sent challenging that denial. I will continue to pursue ways to bring attention to their poor handling of our car while it was in their care until they admit wrongdoing and offer to cover the cost of the damage, estimated at just under $900. The damage is low enough that I don't want to hire a lawyer, but may consider that if nothing else resolves the issue.

Review: I've been parking at their [redacted] location for over 15 years.. There drivers are known for damaging people cars. My mothers and a friends car had been damaged there and they repaired it.. My car got damaged a few weeks ago and they insisted its not there fault. Meanwhile there attendants park the cars all the time.. So I've been trying to reach the claims dept for an answer or a reason as to why they are not responsible when they clearly are and I can't reach anyone I've left voicemails emails nothing they ignored me. My car has no dents or dings on and now it has a large dent on the left front bumper. There service isn't exceptable..Desired Settlement: I would like my car to be fixed because they caused the damage..

Review: I had a pre-purchased parking for spot hero at [redacted] for 10/**/2014. We pulled up and showed the man at the entrance my certificate and asked it we were in the right place. He said yes, pull right up. I was then directed to park my own car on C level. The woman at the window then said they NO LONGER accept the coupon and that I would have to pay $23. After the show, when we picked up the car I was then told I had to pay $28 because I have an oversized vehicle. I have parked in a number of garages in Manhattan and have NEVER had to pay extra. This place is a rip off.!!!! I should have been told 1st thing by the man at the entrance that I was not in the right place. Then they change the rate. I would hope you can stop other people from being sucked in and ripped offDesired Settlement: Return of at least the $8 difference

Review: On Saturday, March **, 2015, we parked our 2012 Honda Odyssey at Quik Park's Garden Lots, located at [redacted]. After staying two nights at an adjacent hotel, we retrieved the car from the attendant on duty, only to find damage to the right rear bumper to include a large dent and paint flaking. The attendant immediately had us photograph the damage and fill out a damage claim form.

On Thursday, April *, 2015, we received a call from Leslie at Quik Park acknowledging her receipt of our damage claim form and noting that it would be passed along to her claims center for a response within 2-3 weeks time. In the meantime, we took the vehicle to our local repair shop for a repair estimate. It has been three months, and we have heard nothing from Quik Park despite leaving many messages with their customer service department.Desired Settlement: We would appreciate a call from Quik Park in order that we may proceed with our damage claim.

Review: When I parked my car in the garage the sign clearly stated 16.90 for 3pm to 11 pm. When I went to retrieve my car I was told the price was $37. When I stated that the sign says 16.90, I was told that it only applies to Mon - Thur. It does not stat this anywhere on the sign or in the building.Desired Settlement: Refund of the difference

Business

Response:

Good Morning [redacted], As I stated on the phone, our signs do indicate the days the rate is valid; however out of courtesy we will issue a refund to the customer. The check being sent will be $17.00 not $20.10 due to tax. The rate stated on the sign is $16.90 Plus Tax. The check will be out today. Review: Quick Park FG, whose mailing address is [redacted] falsly advertises their rates. I printed out a coupon for their website for parking garage on [redacted]. I returned less than two hours later (from 4 PM to before 6 PM). When I presented the coupon they would not honor it. The coupon was from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday 7/**/14 for $11. The attendant stated that the charge would be $18. While discussing why he would not accept the coupon, the price went up another $4 to a total of $22. When I asked to pay with credit card he said cash only. Then he refused to give me a receipt. When I asked for the [redacted], he said that he left at 6 PM and there was no way to reach him. Later that evening I checked the website and the prices advertised on their site were $21 for 3 hours. I would like a refund of $11 i.e. the difference in the overcharged price and a receipt for tax purposes. Since the attendant refused to give me any receipt, the only evidence I have that this transaction occurred is the claim ticket which was left on the windshield wiper.Desired Settlement: $11.

Review: I went to the parking lot at 06:50 AM I said to the attendant I am ok for the early bird special that runs from 07:00 to 11:00am and out by 07:00PM he said yes for sure. I came back at 04:00 pm he took my ticket and the payment stated 35.00 I said no that's wrong you told me the same attendant $12.00 for the early bird special. He than stated that he punched me in at 06:54:29AM so I was to early I said if you would have told that I am three min early and it was going to cost another $20.00 I would have waited three min and to even say that for 3 min that you are charging me another 20 something dollars not even five or maybe ten is a scam. He would not give me my car had another attendant take it away until I went and got more money and they tired to intimate me I was disgusted and crying and I had to go back to the office 3 blocks away and get more money so this also took me about a half hour. Needless to see when I was leaving a women was behind and she did not understand why I was upset and yelling until they punched her card in and started to tell her the same thing. She said no I have the early bird special so I finally left with my card and wished her good luck. I hope something is done about this because it is definitely a scam.Desired Settlement: A check for at least the amount of $20.00 and someone on top of this scam. I am a New Yorker and I bet the run it on many tourists, thank you.

Sincerely,

Review: Hi! My problem is simple I believe. I started parking at Quik Park about 3 months ago and I came there with a motorcycle for a monthly spot. My problem is that my motorcycle had not a single scratch or damage when I first started parking there and now has inquired a large dent on the gas tank. I asked management if they can check the cameras to see how this happened and they said there aren't any. I told him that when I last parked it here it didn't have any dents and he agreed because he always chatted with me over how nice the motorcycle looked. The parking attendant manager told me all he can do is put the claim in to there office and then its out of his hands. The end result to this claim has been that I I'm being denied repairs because they claim they don't park motorcycles and only provide a parking space. I lost my mind because I asked them if I continue to park here and damages continue to happen to my property that I didn't do and this place has what is the benefit of me parking here and paying. I also said its a huge liability because we do go and get our motorcycles on our own but whats that to stop me or other guys owing motorcycles that park there from stealing from all the parked cars that are open and with keys all untended? I told them this cant be the final result and its right! When I first came here I was told I wasn't allowed to go down to get my property without supervision and that policy isn't enforced and I can prove it. I REALLY believe the person that parks next to me damaged my motorcycle but he denied it after being asked. I also believe they should do more on this incident then just take my money to park here when I am probably better off parking in the street if they operate this way. I have also done my researches recently and noticed all the claims they deny, the funny thing is the attendant there told me not to get my hopes up because he knows of damages that have happened in the garage by attendants and the office still denied the claims. This needs to stop and this place can not continue to get over on this. its a such a crime to take our money but step back if things like this happen. I even went as far as to show the manager on site all the chips of paint on the floor where my motorcycle parks to show him it happened there.FYI I have been emailing back and fourth with a person named [redacted] that handles claims and she even got as far as to tell me she would get an estimate and see what they can do but today I was told they aren't responsible for the damage after over a month of back and fourth on emails.Desired Settlement: all I want is my motorcycle repaired and I will leave the lot after this handled!

We found this parking garage through a link on the Madison Square Garden page for a list of recommended parking garages. We reviewed many and decided to try Quik Park located on [redacted] between [redacted] - which is very close to the MSG arena. The prepaid price of $35 was very appealing so we purchased it online thinking it would make the departure part simple. However, much to our dismay their systems went down at the time of pick up and left about 50 of us waiting in an non-airconditioned tunnel with no clue as to when they would fix the computers and get our tickets scanned and give us our car. As one can imagine everyone was fatigued, hot, frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication, customer service and rudeness portrayed to us by the employees. Most did not speak English and threatened to call Cops on all of us who were hot, fatigued and frustrated. By far the worst parking garage service and system. When computers shut down there should be a back up plan and/or a manager to remedy the situation immediately and not make all of us who mostly prepaid in advance for 1 hour in the sweltering tunnel.
